The Fate of the First Hero of Light

The son has returned.

He was enjoying some tobacco, naughty little shit.

My senses are so sharp.

His eyes, meet mine.

He knows I know.

My mother asks I am especially muscularly, do I exercise?

I cannot lie.

I tell them I am a swordsman.

The orphanage had been in a terrible part of the mountains. Beasts would prowl so I was tasked to chase them away.

I had learned from a Dwarf the basics.

Even though I no longer need it in the business world.

I still train as often as possible.

My brothers eyes light up.

"Can you teach me!" he stands up.

I ask him why.

"I already told you I am going to kill that f#cker!"

I tell him honestly, swordsmanship takes years to perfect.

I ask if he has any magical abilities, he does not answer.

My mother explains he is a late bloomer.

"Him too." I think to myself.

"Very well!" I stand up.

The airship is large.

Inside there is a gymnasium.

There are some training swords.

I teach the basic steps, swing types. How to change grips and when. Teaching him the daily exercises he should follow. Types of blades lengths, shape, widths and weights.

Am I teaching him to fight me?

In a thousand suncycles he would not be able to win.

Since my early academy days, till my age now Uncle Thandall has been training me.

I have mastered each bladed weapon type.

I had won dueling competitions in the Dwarven Realm.

Yet I see his eyes shine, if he puts that energy into something else.

How could his life be?

I decide to continue instructing him.

I tell him the most important thing of all is fear.

"Fear?" He looks perplexed.

"The intent to kill, to project your presence onto another."

I face him.

I tell him I going to take the sword out of his hand, also he will not be able to move.

He is cocky.

Immediately I let out my killing intent.

He freezes up, his face, the same as my mothers.

I take the training sword from his hands, he is frozen stiff.

He falls backwards and runs away.

His mother goes to stop him I ask her to reconsider.

I tell her, if this Geir was such a terrible person.

He would have died instantly if even my weak killing intent had throwed off his guard.

My father had started to suspect something was amiss.

He told me that only royal houses use those techniques and that Dwarves do not use short swords.

I told him he was correct.

I came clean and lied even more.

I told them only some of what I had said was true.

The amount of profits we could generate by this deal was so immense it could save a small kingdom from bankruptcy.

Other companies had most likely been contacted. To increase the chance of success assassins had been sent to eliminate representatives. There were multiple representatives from my company. Moving by carriage, through mountains on ships and of course air travel.

That is why I have been given conflicting information.

I only know that you are not evil people.

People who raised a girl that can honestly laugh at terrible jokes, cannot be bad people. I apologized and left.

I was at the bar enjoying the company of the ladies.

Having some drinks.

They had poisoned it, multiple times.

I was wondering, If the story I had fabricated was true!

Was there really a representative?

Casually one day a few years earlier, my Grandmother had informed me.

That she had been poisoning me from a young age.

All those tired days!

Was the poison she had the cook add to my food, slowly building up my resistance.

I have memorized the tastes.

They are using three types of poisons.

I take them outside.

Are they trying to kill the Tulok Warchief, TADUC union executive or someone else?

The Blonde Hume rips out a twin pointed knife.

"Blood Peak Tribe! This was your last chance, we are going to hunt all your people and brutally murder them."

She wants to speak.

I snap her neck and throw her over the railing.

She falls into the darkness of the moonless night.

"You are a half Elf?"

"DIE TULOK DOG!"

I punch her in the stomach. She throws up all the contents of it.

I whisper in her ear.

"I am going to give as a present to Princess Teela."

Her horror filled look is frozen in ice.

I can use the power of the magics inside the ice crystal, to keep her alive even when she is not breathing or her heart beating.

The third assassin hurriedly speaks.

"Shit! You are the Tulok Warchief! Please allow me to kill myself!"

She is pleading I kick her.

She is coughing up blood.

"Where you trying to kill me?"

"NO! I was aiming for a political figure!"

I help her up, heal her wounds. I punch her through the face.

I instruct her how to correctly identify a figure for assassination.

She listens attentively.

I see is making notes in her head.

I give her the Tulok War Board business card.

I ask for a pen. She produces one with a poison tip. I give her a score on the card. I ask for her real name and aliases. Which group she is affiliated with.

Handing the card over to her.

I ask she consider working for the Tulok.

I have her underneath me.

Assassins make the best bed partners.

I easily break through her training.

She is gripping me so tightly. I ask her to moan softer. I can see she is panicking.

Some climaxes later.

She is more relaxed. I want to kiss her.

But remember I drank almost three cups worth of poison.

She would probably die instantly.

I already have to give my Grandmother the crystal girl, so she can torture her.

Carrying one more would be a pain.

There is a spent naked figure on the bed.

I decide to go outside again.

It has not been long only half the night is over.

Have I become better or are they training assassins incorrectly.

I think about the Dark Elf.

Immediately I have recovered.

She had so much stamina.

More important than that, when I think about her my face glows and I feel my heart is happy.

I walk to the back of the massive ship.

The assassins led me to an inconspicuous place so that they could me.

I killed one, froze the other one so Grandmother could toy with her and killed the other in a different way.

I think back to my youth.

I was very shy.

I would never have been able to think like that.

Constant assassinations attempts on my life mainly as Tulok Warchief then as an executive of the TADUC Coalition have hardened me.

Companies that lost their businesses, because of our efficient and professional service.

Also send assassins but rarely.

I find each night I have a new bed partner.

Humes, Elves Dark or White.

When I see that blue skin of the Dark Elf's I only think of Vivi.

The fine features of the White Elves.

I almost see her face.

"Vivi what are you doing?"

Clothed in a red robe a figure turns and looks at the airship passing overhead.

"Geir..."

I am at the back of the airship.

I will practice my ice magic.

I create giant shapes of ice in the air.

They start falling on to the mountain side.

Before they touch the ground I shatter them into nothingness.

Pyramids, spheres, cuboids and shards the ice shapes fall.

I shatter them nothing is left.

I focus all my magical energies

. How large can make it?

The sky is filled a massive block of ice.

It is probably larger than the airship in terms of volume, still my ice is so murky.

"Grandmother will I be able to surpass you?"

Before it can fall and damage the forest.

It is destroyed completely and it disappears.

"Mister you are so good with ice magic."

"Thank you Princess."

"Are your parents not worried about you?"

"I lost them."

"Let us find them."

"Mister please tell me some more jokes."

As we are walking tears are flowing as she is laughing at my jokes.

We have to stop her sides are hurting.

We find my parents they glare at me.

I start walking away.

"Mommy this man is so good with ice magic. He made a mountain in the air and then it disappeared completely. There wasn't even snow left!"

I start walking back to my cabin.

"Claurilles is that you?"

"Yes, mother."

I feel nothing for them.

Someone pulls my shirt.

"Are you really my brother?"

"Yes, Teela I am."

"Why don't you come to visit me?"

"It is dangerous for..."

"TEELA GET AWAY FROM THAT MONSTER!" my father says friendlily.

"Why he is my big brother?"

"Teela please come to me!"

Pleads my mother.

"ENOUGH!"

Everyone in the air lounges eyes are already focused on our spat.

Teela moves and hides behind me.

"When are you going stop crawling on the ground?!"

"What do mean Claurilles?"

"Mother you are always pleading to be saved. Father you never act like a man! If really wanted Teela you would come and take her instead of cowering in fear!"

"I am ashamed to even be called a Dominitus!"

I feel a slight pain.

I was stabbed, it is my brother.

I kick him slightly he flies to the end of the room.

Hits the wall and starts coughing up blood.

"Teela are you not scared?"

"You are my big brother nothing can hurt me now."

I hug the small figure and feel my heart soften up again.

I remember the words of Lord Dominitus.

"GEIR DO NOT FALTER!"

I will not forget ever again.

I spend the night with Teela in the lounge.

I ask many things.

The fool Estonix was selected to lead House Dominitus.

But wonderful news!

He was assassinated soon after becoming head!

Micheal now leads the House.

All the men were working many a day to repopulate the House Dominitus.

So many a wife and mistress, were spending many a long times in the bed.

They had to find forbidden arts, to assist the men.

Not that Teela told me any of this.

I asked choice questions.

To protect her pure heart.

And through the experience, of my many years of scheming.

I could unravel this mystery.

After telling many a joke.

All the people in the lounge cringing.

But Teela's sweet laugh making them forget the joke.

I wonder if Lord Dominitus looked at me like I look at Teela?

My parents and my healed brother.

Were squirming like worms in chairs opposite me.

She was sleeping, my mother and father had her.

"What are you going to do now?"

Those same eyes of disdain are cast upon me.

It is as if a brat is staring at me.

"What do you mean Claurilles?"

"I am going to tell Grandmother about Teela."

My parents eyes are open wide.

"It does not matter if you beg I am going to tell her. I will tell her I found you on this flight. So I am certain she will be able to track you."

I look at my little snot brother.

"In a fight you can never best me I am the Tulok Warchief. Lord Anaxtus had appointed me head of house Dominitus in my massacre of House Dominitus. If you want to surpass me. Take my place as Warchief or become head of House Dominitus. Mother, Teela specializes in fire and ice magic. That is all farewell."

I leave in the background they were making some rumblings.

I entered my cabin.

The assassin had recovered and focused on her training.

Telling me things would be different.

She was correct I think her training was broken many a moment earlier.

Many times later.

Extreme screams of anguish...

"Geir say that again!"

I speak.

"I HAVE A GRANDDAUGHTER?! TELL ME WHERE NOW!"

Finish.
