The Fate of the First Hero of Light

After much consternations and speculations.

We decided to head back to where we first entered the "Original Dwarven" world.

We were greeted by many Dwarfs wearing brightly yellow coloured costumes.

The costumes covered themselves completely with a clear covering were they could see through.

They also had white gloves and boots.

There were devices attached to the costumes, I was later told it was to filter the air.

There had been devices put inside the world that measured various activities.

When the cerebrum was destroyed. They detected the termination of the signal.

They opened the hall door and sent rescue parties to search for us, luckily we found them first.

"Aunt Hurmihilda did you also work there?" she stays quiet.

"I have destroyed everything, there is nothing left. The one called Adam I cursed him with Great Father Houzmas Grimmaker curse. He is just a normal man now. I am not sure you can even call him that."

"Geir thank you."

"The young man and woman what will you do with them?"

"Do not worry they will be taken care of."

"I see."

I start to walk homewards.

"Geir."

"Yes, Aunt Hurmihilda."

"Do you think this world can be saved?"

I look at the endless grey rock stretching into the horizon.

The sky is grey but there is water but only faintly.

"Grandmother."

"Geir?"

"Please assist me."

Short moments later...

The snow storm is pulling all the clouds together.

We have formed a large cone we are standing in the middle.

"FIRE MAGE! COME HELP US!"

I signal to him.

"Geir?"

"VIVI! COME AS WELL!"

"Yes, Geir."

I instruct them.

The Fire Mage unleashes an inferno inside of the snowstorm.

The snow almost immediately melts.

"VIVI NOW!"

The Dark Elf casts a crystal spell into the chaotic storm.

The crystals are sucked into the tornado.

"FIRE MAGE STOP!"

The flames stop, the melted water binds to the magical crystals.

We freeze them together.

The crystals are now harder than some of the hardest precious gems.

I signal towards my Grandmother.

Using the snow storms crystals with whip like movements of the crystals we draw circles and carve patterns into the rock.

We walk for many distances still cutting the stone.

"That should be enough for now."

The crystals drop on the ripped stone, they will not unbind easily.

The water and magical crystal mixture has formed a strong bond.

I look into the far distance I can see it.

We found water!

It is slowly bubbling out of the cuts we made.

I call to the Dark Elf to guide them to the water.

I take some of the dried grass, not far from the cut.

We finally reach the party, there is a small spring forming.

"Zelda come here."

"Yes, Geir!"

I put the grass into a cut between the rock, where the water is forming.

"Zelda heal the plant."

"WHAT!?" says a shocked Zelda.

"Just do it."

"Well this seems quiet odd. But I will do it."

Zelda moves to heal the plant, Zelda has not even touched the plant.

Like a wildfire spreads out, the grass expands with such a rapid pace outwards from where Zelda is.

Zelda slips and falls over on her backside.

Where she falls there is water forming.

Where the roots are digging into the cuts, the stone layer is cracking, the rocks are shattering into large flakes.

The grasses expansion suddenly stops.

The grass becomes dried up and dies.

"NO, GEIR! WHAT HAPPENED?!"

"Just stay where you are."

The water is still pooling around Zelda.

Many moments pass...

Zelda is almost waist deep now.

Zelda's infinite life energies is keeping the plants alive as it struggles to survive.

It has been cultivated through many life times using Zelda's powers to speed up its development.

The grass starts standing up, it has evolved!

The grass rapidly starts spreading following the patterns Grandmother and myself carved in the grey rock.

Great cracking sounds are heard and more of the water starts pouring out.

Zelda is swimming in place.

That is how much water there is.

This must have been an artificial body of water created for some function.

"Geir look here."

Aunt Hurmihilda shows me there is darker earth underneath the grey rock.

The rock must be an ash like substance that built of over many suncycles completely covering the earth beneath it.

"GEIR HELP! I AM GETTING TIRED!"

Zelda is struggling to stay afloat.

"YOUR MAJESTY!"

The Knight jumps in the weight of his armor pulling him into the mud.

"TEELA HELP!"

A big ice plate is formed in front of her.

Zelda reaches it, she awkwardly paddles to the shore of the quickly forming body of water.

"Knight break all these circles we carved so that they are connected."

"YES, GEIR!"

"Everyone I will be back in a few days time."

"Where are you going me boy?"

"I am going to use these crystal shard we made and carve the rock as much as I can. I will also assess one of the factories. I will look for some seeds."

"SEEDS?!" the party screams.

"Yes, normally around large buildings trees and the like are planted. Aunt Hurmihilda please come here."

"Yes, Geir?"

We talk.

Aunt Hurmihilda understands and signals for the other Dwarfs.

It has been four days...

When these crystals cut the rock they gather the finest particles of dust into themselves.

They are becoming even more abrasive. The gashes in the earth are thick and deep. I can smell fresh soil underneath them.

This will be the third factory.

I leave the crystals on a heap outside of the fencing. I search around the building.

FINALLY!

Underneath a broken box there is small plant, there is a pipe with the smallest of hole. Some of these factories contain massive amounts of water in large metal spherical containers.

This plant must have been fortunate enough...

I see a figure, moving to my left, it moves with speed inside of the factory.

I will have to destroy it and this factory.

The plant has been removed, I created a crystal bubble around it, the crystal will give it the life energies to sustain itself even when removed from the earth.

I extend my hand, I will freeze this structure and destroy it.

I stop, looking at the massive amount of crystals next to me.

The buildings walls fall off, they have clean cuts. Similar to when you would cut cheese with a very sharp knife. The crystal rips through the building.

In the totally dark factory I see a light leading to the lower levels.

I use my ice magics on my cornea.

"I cannot believe it!"

I run towards the light, it is a broken light bound with wire!

The glass of the light has been broken it is taped together.

No machine could fix this and in this way!

Only a person could construct something so poorly.

This has only been done recently!

I run down the stairs, freezing the various traps and mechanisms, they would use to defeat the machines.

This is it!

I can sense them.

"I am coming inside."

I open the door slowly.

BAM BAM BAM

They have the same weapons as those drones the barrels are the large ones!

If I use my crystal magics, the bullets might fly backwards towards them.

My ice will not stop it.

The projectiles are almost reaching me.

WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?

I see the sunlight shining through large windows...

I am at the Academy sitting in the classroom.

WHY AM I THINKING OF THIS NOW?!

We are studying calculus the educator is explaining how triangles are constructed and the formulas.

45degrees!

The crystal is formed in a plane in front of me leading upwards with slope forming towards the floor in front of me.

The projectiles go up straight and hit the roof.

I am so relieved I had studied calculus at the Academy!

"Ek do nie will to fight"

"Kan jy ons verstaan?"

"Net a klein." I struggle to try and translate this bizzare language.

"Wie is jy?

"Come with me, I will show you your people."

"Dis 'n robot! Skiet weer!"

I am running towards the entrance to our world.

I formed a large ice pick in my hand, as I am running I pull it on the grey rock, it makes a loud scratching noise.

The Hume I kidnapped is resisting violently.

When they wanted to attack again I moved inside and captured one.

I bound the Hume with rope. I always have various tools hidden inside my now ripped parka.

I reach the entrance to the our world.

Every Dwarf without exception, drops what they are doing, when they see me arrive.

I call for Uncle Thandall he is bleak.

"Waar is ek? Wie is jy? Wat soek julle met my?"

Uncle Thandall starts speaking his language.

The young man is so shocked at this revelation.

"Tell him of the cerebrum."

Uncle Thandall tells him that we destroyed the control center.

It is too great a shock for him.

He cannot believe it.

I cut him loose. Before he runs I show him the gash in the earth and also the ice pick I used to make it.

He runs following the line.

"GEIR WHY DID YOU DO THAT!?"

"He knows where to find us. When they are ready they will find this place. They will first confirm for themselves what you said is true. Spending all these years living in fear. Will you believe something a stranger tells you?"

"Yes, you are right son. Did you find something?"

I produce the plant.

With my bond with Vivi, I had asked her to contact everyone.

"Zelda are you ready?"

"Yes, Geir."

I put the plant in the water.

Zelda moves to touch it, she has not even started healing it.

The plant springs to life and grows rapidly it is a shrub.

"Cut off the leaves diagonally. Make holes as far as you can close to the edges of the water. Plant the seedling then cover it slightly."

Zelda touches the water again.

The shrubs springs to life.

"Are these enough Aunt Hurmihilda?"

Great Mother Hurmihilda is crying.

"Thank you Geir."

"Thank you Zelda, I just need your help with something else if you do not mind?"

"Geir what should I do?"

"Do you see the small lake I just need you to go stand in the middle."

"Geir do I have to swim?" says a worried looking Zelda.

"You do not need to anymore the water has settled."

"Grandmother." I signal to her.

"Yes, Geir."

A changing screen is brought and assembled.

My Grandmother hands Zelda swimwear, she changes.

"Thank you Geir. This time I am not naked!"

"Do not thank me yet."

"Geir?"

Zelda steps four paces into the small lake after the fifth step.

She falls chest height into the mud.

"GEIR NOOOOOO!"

"Do not worry Zelda it does not get any deeper than that."

"THAT IS NOT THE PROBLEM! HOW LONG GEIR?"

"5 days."

"NOOOO, NOT AGAIN!"

"Only for a few moments Zelda."

I move towards the party.

I sit down on the grass my wife sits next to me.

The plants starts spreading around us for many distances.

"Zelda Queen of Grass." I say.

Everyone is laughing.

The tears are flowing.

I look towards a muddy Zelda she is also crying.

Finish.
