Chapter 12

Note: Thanks for the reviews guys. I promise, they make me write faster! I'm on tumblr now too, aseaof-grey, and I'd love to chat with y'all if you want too, about the story!

Little bit of a shorter one, but I'm about to be moving - me, moving out of downtown and into suburbia - weird. So, I want to try to get out as many as I can as I go to make sure no ones left waiting. I did promise I wouldn't do that again.

Callie had left her car at Arizona's, parking it in Arizona's assigned garage space when they left the condo. The ride over to the hospital was comfortable, the two women chatted easily about their young patient.

"How long do you think it'll be before Alexandra can stand up straight?" Arizona asked her as they came up to a red light.

"Her spine is bending by the hour, right now. I guarantee that when we get in there today, her spine will be at a greater degree of curvature than we anticipate," Callie explained, "But, after we get her parents on board, get Alex's strength up and get in there to perform the correction, I think she could easily be walking within 5 to 10 days, standing up straight."

"Days?!" Arizona asked, clearly shocked at how fast Callie anticipated her recovery.

"Yes, days," Callie answered proudly.

"Her parents would be elated," Arizona said with a smile. "They're good people… so in love with each other and their children."

She'd truly come to like the Dianetti's over the past week. On Monday night she'd spent a considerable amount of time walking through the basics of Alexandra's condition with the Dianetti's, and learned quite a bit about their family. Gabrielle had grown up in New York – Brooklyn to be exact, in a large Italian family. Her grandfather had opened a small restaurant in the East Village that would eventually grow to become one of the most well-loved and popular restaurants in the City. Gabrielle's family was used to loss, she'd been raised by her father and various women in her family, being shipped off to the next one each time another died. By the time Gabrielle was 15, she'd lived with her mother, grandmother, two aunts, and a cousin. All of them had passed away from complications due to various cancers: breast, pancreatic, and colon. Gabrielle and her father moved to Florida after her 15th birthday to live closer to her mother's brother. Her father had no family, an only child – his parents had died in a car crash when he was 14 and he'd gone into foster care from there. Mackenzie had a huge family: two sisters, both with three kids each of their own, and a brother. Sadly, Mackenzie's brother died on September 11, 2001. He was a firefighter. Her parents were both still alive. They were your typical family, white picket fence, cushy jobs, beautiful children, and a gorgeous beachfront house in Destin, Florida.

Mackenzie had met Gabrielle at a sorority formal, where she'd attended as another sister's date. Despite having both come with someone else, the two left together that night and their relationship progressed quickly from there. They committed themselves to one another two nights before their graduation in June 1995. Mack went on to get an Master's in Engineering and Gabrielle graduated from law school. In 1996, they decided to have a baby, and Mack got pregnant through IVF, using a donor that shared as many features with Gabrielle as possible. James was born in 1997. Mackenzie went on to work for Microsoft, while Gabrielle began her practice of law in criminal defense. Mackenzie eventually sold out of Microsoft for a sum Arizona had been led to believe exceeded even Christian's wealth, and opened her own company engineering medical equipment. They welcomed Alexandra into the family in 2000. Gabrielle had carried her, using Mack's brother's generous donation. Alexandra was very special, aside from being the 'sick' kid her whole life, she was the last piece of Patrick Klein the family had.

"I hope Gabrielle comes around," Callie told Arizona as they pulled up to the hospital, "Alexandra needs this surgery. Like I said, without this surgery, she could very well be dead in a few weeks, maybe months."

"I feel for them," Arizona told her as she parked her vehicle in her assigned parking space and got out of the car. "This kid has been through more shit in the last few years than most people go through in their whole lives. They don't want to put her through another surgery, especially not one that might leave her paralyzed."

"You wouldn't do the surgery? If this was your kid?" Callie asked her, shutting her door after getting out of the car and turning to face the blonde.

"No, I would. I'm not saying I wouldn't. It's her only hope. But you have to understand that the risk of complete paralysis after all of this is… huge," Arizona answered as they walked up the pathway from the parking lot of Seattle Grace Mercy West together.

"Do you think we can do this?" Callie asked.

"I think you can do this," Arizona answered with a smile.

Callie grinned in return at Arizona's vote of confidence.

"Hey guys," Dr. Grey called, coming running up behind them with Mark not far behind.

The two women paused and turned to face the younger Grey.

"Lexie," Callie greeted her before looking past her to nod her hello to Mark.

"Torres," Mark said smiling, "Robbins."

Callie gave Mark a stern look.

"Dr. Sloan," Arizona said with a slightly sheepish smile on her face.

"I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but were you guys talking about Alexandra?" Lexie asked, completely oblivious to the very loud looks the other three doctors were giving one another.

"Yes, Dr. Grey. Dr. Torres and I were just talking about the likelihood of her success at correcting Alexandra's spine, should Gabrielle decide to go through with the surgery," Arizona explained, opting to ignore the heated stares between Callie and Mark.

"She has to," Lexie said, "Alexandra's spine…"

"I know," Arizona agreed, turning to walk with the younger woman into the hospital, "And we're going to make sure of it. I've got to do some rounds quickly, and then I suggest we go speak to them before surgery."

Lexie nodded her agreement and followed Arizona into the hospital. Callie and Mark hung back for a moment.

"You got laid," Mark said matter of factly, a shit-eating grin spread across his face.

"Shut it," Callie warned, slapping his shoulder.

"You've got a stupid smile glued to your face. That good, huh?" Mark asked, pulling her into the hospital behind Arizona and Lexie.

"You have no idea," Callie told him with a sly grin.

"Alright, since I'm an hour early, I'm going to head up to my office for a bit and finish up some paperwork. I'll meet you around 9:30?" Arizona said to Dr. Grey.

Callie stood watching, a smile still spread across her face. Their morning had gone well, they'd drove to work together, walked up the long walkway to the hospital together, and no one had thought anything of it. Well, Callie corrected herself, Mark did – but he doesn't count. Maybe taking it slowly would work out.

"Absolutely," Dr. Grey responded. She leaned over toward Mark and pressed a quick kiss against his lips with a hurried goodbye and disappeared down the hallway in search of Dr. Shephard to start her shift on his service for the day.

"You haven't told her yet, have you?" Callie asked, turning her attention to Mark once Lexie scurried away.

"No, I may love her, but we've got bro code," Mark told her, grinning at Arizona. "Your dirty little secret is safe with me."

"Thank you," Callie said breathing a sigh of relief, "We just want to do this on our own terms."

"I've got your back Torres, and I guess by default, yours too Robbins," Mark told the women as he started walking them toward the elevator. "I'll try to dispel any rumors, but you know how this place loves to gossip… once those rumors start flying, there's no telling what you two actually did. Cheated on your husband and repeatedly banged the hot ortho attending? Nah, this place will have everyone believing Callie is the head of a secret lesbian cult that has been working you over for the last 6 months."

Arizona rolled her eyes and hit the up botton on the elevator, "That's ridiculous Mark… but either way, we have a plan."

"A plan?" Mark questioned as the elevator doors opened and he stepped to the side to let the two women on first.

"Yep," Arizona said with a smile as the elevator doors closed. She immediately grabbed Callie's hand and kissed the back of it, knowing she had no reason to hide her affections in front of Mark. "We're going to start over. From scratch."

"Dude, how?" Mark asked with a laugh as the elevator ticked upwards.

"We're going to be friends, and we're going to date, and eventually, it'll just be so normal that no one even notices," Arizona said matter-of-factly.

"Everyone knows you two are friends," Mark said, pointing out the flaws in her plan, "And if you keep coming into work together, people are going to talk."

"Of course they know we're friends," Arizona explained as the elevator doors opened on the Pediatrics floor. "And if they're going to talk, we may as well give them a reason," she added with a wink as the doors closed and she walked away.

"You're crazy if you think that's going to work," Mark told Callie.

"It's not crazy. All she means is that we're going to slowly let our friendship blossom into something more, publicly. Yes, everyone knows we're friends, but it's time to become better friends – the kind who go out, spend nights together sometimes," Callie answered.

"Fuck…" Mark added, cutting her off with a smirk.

Callie slapped him for the second time this morning.

"Hey! What gives? That's true!" Mark yelped as the doors to the elevator opened again to let them off.

"You're a freaking menace," Callie quipped, shoving Mark off the elevator in front of her.

"Well, well, well, look what the cat dragged in," Callie cooed with a grin as Dr. Eliza Minnick walked into the skills lab where Callie was reviewing case notes and practicing her surgical plan. Eliza hadn't changed a bit since Callie had last seen her at her ex-fling, Amaya's, law school graduation approximately 7 years ago. She dropped the tools from her hands and walked quickly toward the doctor standing in the door way.

"Hmm, beautiful as ever Dr. Torres, dark blue looks good on you," Eliza answered with a artful grin. She lifted her arms and engulfed the taller brunette into her arms for a hug. Callie reciprocated with ease, holding tight for a moment, before ultimately letting go.

"Thanks, nailed an attending position about six months ago," Callie told her proudly. Callie had completed her residency and had started looking for fellowship positions when Dr. Weston offered her the job of attending. He'd let her know, at the time, that Dr. Judson was on his way out, preparing to retire. They wanted her to keep learning, pushing boundaries, give them a reason to make her the interim head in his absence, so they could officially put her name in the running for Judson's replacement.

"Like I said, dark blue looks good on you," Eliza responded with a wink, placing increased emphasis on the word good.

"You haven't changed much," Callie said rolling her eyes.

"What? I'm playing nice," she answered exasperated.

"You? Nice? Ha, don't make me laugh… Anyway, what about you Rockstar, don't think we haven't been watching your scoliosis research."

Eliza visibly blushed, "We've been busy in Cleveland. But I hear you haven't exactly been sitting on your ass…"

Callie shrugged, letting go of Eliza's arms, "What are you talking about? It's boring out here compared to what you've got going on."

"A vertebral resection surgery? I've only done one and I was basically assisting," Eliza answered, walking toward the tools and books Callie had been working with on the left side of the room. "This is risky business – the kind that lands you in medical journals, getting grants, opening a world class spine and orthopedic institute at Seattle Grace."

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves," Callie reasoned, following Eliza back over to her work. "But yes, I know you've done one of these, and I know it didn't turn out exactly how you'd hoped, but that's why I think you're the perfect surgeon to do this with me."

She picked up the binder off the table and handed it to Dr. Minnick who began flipping through, paying particular attention to Callie's sketches of her angles.

"The curve in her spine has increased quite significantly since the last scans you sent over," Eliza said, reviewing the latest drawing. Alexandra was hitting another growth spurt, despite already being, statistically – had she not suffered from scoliosis and kyphosis, significantly taller than most peers her age. Since arriving at the emergency room, Alexandra's spine had curved another 2 degrees. Her oxygen levels had fallen to 22%, and Callie likened the curvature in the little girls back to that of a question mark.

"They have," Callie agreed, "Dr. Robbins and Dr. Grey were going to speak to the parents again this morning to try and convince her mother to allow us to operate. We're running out of time."

"Always in a rush," Dr. Minnick commented with a smirk.

"I knew this was coming," Callie answered with a groan.

"It's not my fault you wouldn't tell her," Eliza answered, putting the binder back down on the table. "Truthfully, it was probably for the best," she flicked the collar of Callie's lab coat as she spoke. "I'm out and proud and loud," she added with a grin, "Probably would've never happened if not for you."

"Oh shut up, you would've come out eventually," Callie answered with a laugh, swatting the woman's hand away.

"Maybe, but it would've taken longer. Anyway – it really is good to see you. I'm excited to help this kid. You ready to show me the game plan?"

"No doubt. I'd like you in on today's surgery too, if you have time. I know Chief Weston gave you privileges while here for consults… I think it would be beneficial for you to get a feel for how Dr. Robbins and myself work in the OR," Callie told her as she sat back down in front of her tools.

"Alright, work your magic with those hands Torres," Eliza said with a sigh, plopping down on a stool beside her to watch.

They worked together in tandem, Callie showing Dr. Minnick just how she planned to remove the tumor from Alexandra's bone.

"I was surprised to hear from you," Eliza told Callie as she removed the clamp from the fake set up in front of her and replaced the void with her fingers, pulling back gently to see better.

"An insanely rare, extreme case of your specialty, and you didn't expect to hear from me?" Callie asked with a laugh as she removed the last section of fake tumor from the fake bones in front of her.

"I would've assumed you'd reach out to Dr. Feldman in New York, or maybe even Dr. Palmer in Atlanta? I'm good – but, again, this surgery is badass," Eliza answered, patting Callie's shoulder in congratulations.

"This little girl deserves the best, we're the best there is," Callie said simply, pulling her gloves off her hands and tossing them into the trash.

"I'm glad you still think I'm the best after what happened," Eliza offered.

"Hey, it's water under the bridge. We both fucked up, but we were young and dumb," Callie answered, cleaning up the space in front of her.

"I guess that's true. You were kind of a bitch… but thanks… for what it's worth, the flirting is just playful, I'm seeing someone…"

"I wouldn't expect anything less from you, Dr. Minnick," Callie answered with a knowing smile, "I'm happy for you. You deserve it."

Dr. Grey entered the room abruptly, just as Callie was about to respond, "Dr. Torres, we've been looking for you. Dr. Minnick – oh… nevermind, I see you've already found each other."

"We've been prepping for the last hour and a half. Is my OR prepped?" Callie asked Dr. Grey, grabbing her binders and heading toward the door, Eliza in tow.

"Yes. Dr. Robbins is with the family now, and we'll bring Alexandra down in about 20 minutes, is there anything else you need me to prep before I go get ready to scrub in?" Dr. Grey asked, leaving the skills lab with the two older women.

"No, I think we're all set. Make sure Dr. Spalding is ready, and we'll all meet up in the patients room in 15 minutes," Callie answered, turning to walk toward the locker room to clean up, Eliza following closely behind.

11:35 AM

Alexandra Dianetti's small hospital room was full. Gabrielle and Mack were standing off to the left side of Alex's bed, holding one another, their hands laced tightly together over Alexandra's right hand. Alexandra's older brother, a 5'6 thirteen year old boy with bright blue eyes and blonde hair was sitting comfortably on the bed with his little sister. Two unidentified women stood off to the left of Mack and Gabrielle, baring a striking resemblance to Mackenzie – Arizona surmised that they must be Mackenzie's sisters. Dr. Spalding and Dr. Grey were standing opposite Dr. Minnick and Dr. Torres toward the front right side of Alexandra's bed. Arizona herself stood off to the right side, near the door, Dr. Bailey to her left, and an intern named Dr. Taylor Thomas stood sheepishly behind them.

"This is a lot of doctors," James said with a laugh, "Alexandra isn't that special!" He playfully, yet lightly, nudged his little sister.

"Well, kid, and I feel weird saying that because you look like you could be 25," Callie said with a genuine laugh, "In case you hadn't heard, your little sister is a superhero and she's about to kick some Voldemort behind."

Alexandra herself laughed this time, her tiny body gasping for air afterwards, leading her into a coughing fit. Once it subsided, she spoke, "Don't make me laugh, Jamie. It hurts."

"Sorry Lex," James answered. "Is it time for surgery?"

"Yep, it is. Dr. Torres here is going to take really good care of your little sister. And the rest of us are all here to help her with whatever she needs," Lexie told James.

James carefully removed himself from the bed and walked directly up to Callie. He stood just 3 inches shorter than the orthopedic surgeon. "Dr. Torres, right?" He asked her.

"Yes, that's me," she answered, reaching out a hand to shake the kid's hand.

"Promise me you'll take care of my sister," James said, a tear running down his cheek. "She's everything to me. I know most older brothers are supposed to find their little sisters annoying, but I don't. She's just my Lex… and all I want to do is spend my teenage years beating whoever she decides to date up for looking at her funny. Please, just make sure I can have that. I want my little sister back."

Callie gulped, not expecting a protector to step up and bombard her. She took a moment, put her hands on the young boys shoulders and grinned, "Alexandra is lucky to have a big brother like you. We will do everything in our power to make sure that you get your sister back, that you both get the futures you're looking forward to."

James smiled weakly and hugged Callie tightly before walking back toward his family, and joining the two unidentified women in the corner.

"Gabrielle, this is Dr. Minnick," Callie said, introducing the women. "I understand Mackenzie met with Dr. Minnick while you were picking up James. She'll be assisting me with today's surgery, and the remainder of Alexandra's stay with us."

"It's nice to meet you," Eliza said softly, stepping forward and shaking Gabrielle's hand. "You're in good hands with this one, I'm just a bonus," she said with a smile.

"Everything is going to be fine, we're just kicking Voldemort out for not paying rent," Callie said with a laugh, "Dr. Grey, Dr. Spalding, please prep the patient to head down for surgery, get the proper signatures from the parents, and meet us in OR 2 in 10 minutes," Callie told the two residents in the corner.

"There is nothing to worry about here," Lexie began, walking over to Gabrielle and Mackenzie with the paperwork as Callie, Arizona, and Eliza exited the room and started off toward the operating room.

"Dr. Robbins, it's actually quite incredible to meet you," Eliza said as they headed toward the OR to scrub in. "I've been following your career since med school. You're the intern that performed an emergency appendectomy on a toddler in the back of an ambulance at a marathon… aren't you?"

Arizona laughed, "I didn't finish it in the ambulance, but the papers preferred a sensationalized story. It's a pleasure to meet you as well. I'll admit I'd never heard of you until the scoliosis research went up in the journals, but I'm impressed."

"Ah yes, you're both very impressive, but today's my day to shine," Callie said, pushing through the OR doors to the scrub room confidently.

8:37 PM

The team was in surgery for over 8 hours, the tumor hadn't grown much since the last scans, and while the curvature of Alexandra's spine complicated the hell out of things, Callie was able to remove the entire tumor, and every single one of the skip metastases. Eliza had spotted an additional portion of spread in Alexandra's upper vertebral bone, and assisted Arizona in removing it while Callie recited notes she'd be able to use later in the next surgery.

Things went smoothly, and the bone grafts Callie had Arizona and Dr. Grey work to place took perfectly. She was on cloud nine, busting out of the OR with a confident smile on. She had Dr. Spalding and Dr. Bailey take care of closing Alexandra up and bringing her to the ICU for observation.

"Goddamn," Arizona breathed, the second they walked out of the OR. "That was perfect. We could not have gotten cleaner margins if Jesus himself had performed the surgery." She was absolutely glowing, and place both hands on Callie's shoulders, jumping at her back.

"Arizona!" Callie yelped, falling forward at the weight of the younger woman jumping into her.

"Sorry, I'm just so stoked that went so well!" Arizona said beaming.

"That did go really fucking well," Callie said happily. "That should help slow the curve in her spine too, to give us more time to prep her for the real battle."

"How long until we can start prepping her?"

"Guys, come on, let's celebrate this win for a minute!" Dr. Grey shouted, coming outside of the OR.

Chief Weston appeared from around the corner, "Dr. Torres, how did the Dianetti tumor removal go?"

"It was tough, and we ran into a few complications, but we removed it all with clean margins. The grafts took well, and we're just all pretty stoked right now," Callie told the Chief, who proceeded to give her a lame high-five.

"That's fantastic. Have you informed her family yet?" Christian asked. "Congratulations everyone."

"No, not yet, we just got out of surgery a few moments ago. I'd like to wait for Dr. Spalding and Dr. Bailey before we go up, they deserve this win just as much as the rest of us," Callie told him, patting the two women at her sides on their back. The irony of the situation was not lost on Callie. For the first time since Eliza arrived, Callie was wholly aware of the fact that she'd had some pretty wild nights with both of these women. The only difference here was, Callie no longer had any interest in Dr. Minnick, and Dr. Robbins was technically still Chief Weston's wife. She shivered softly, shaking herself from her thoughts.

"Let's all meet upstairs in ten minutes and inform the family, good job Dr. Torres, Dr. Robbins, Dr. Minnick," Chief Weston said as he headed away from the three smiling doctors.

"You got it all?" Gabrielle finally breathed out after several long seconds of silence.

"We got it all," Dr. Robbins replied affirmatively.

"I – I can't thank you all enough," Gabrielle answered with a sob. She kissed her wife, jumped up, and immediately walked toward Callie and Arizona, engulfing them in a fierce hug. "Thank you, thank you, thank you."

"Dr. Minnick, thank you," Mack said, standing up and shaking the doctor's hand quickly. "How is she doing? When can we see her?"

"Soon, she's under observation right now, but she's awake, and she's okay," Dr. Minnick answered, smiling back at the beautiful blonde in front of her.

Mack hugged the doctors, one after the other, ending with Dr. Torres, "You really are a rockstar!"

"Hey, hey, hey, those eyes are reserved for me," Gabrielle said, swatting her wife on the chest. "Dr. Torres… we want you to do the surgery. Whatever it is Alexandra needs, we want you to do it."

Callie was reeling, finally! "That's fantastic, Gabrielle. I'm so glad. Let's enjoy this tonight, and we can regroup once Alexandra's had some time to rest," Callie said with a smile.

"Of course, thank you again, Dr. Torres," Gabrielle said with a smile.

Between the high of a successful tumor removal, and the thought of being able to save this little girl's life - Callie was on another level.

9:52 PM

Arizona had tried to pull herself away from Callie after their surgery, but it was impossible. Ever since their successful removal of Alexandra's tumor, Arizona had been following Callie around like a puppy. There was really no reason for Arizona to be down in the pit, she had plenty of patients she could tend to up on the fourth floor, but she was itching to be near the brunette.

Something had come over her, and she couldn't help it. The confidence Callie had oozed throughout the surgery, and after, had Arizona in a haze she hadn't recognized in herself since she was 22. Arizona's shift had ended at 9, but she was currently looking over Callie's shoulder as she finished a chart for a patient who's shoulder she'd just re-set.

"Are you going to follow me around for the rest of my shift?" Callie asked her, looking back over her shoulder at the blonde.

"Maybe, when are you off?" Arizona asked, leaning up against the nurses station behind her.

"10 minutes," Callie answered, finishing her notes on the chart and handing it off to an intern.

Arizona smiled, jotted a note down on a piece of paper from her notebook, ripped out the page, folded it in half and placed it in Callie's coat pocket. She flashed the brunette a dimpled grin and turned on her heels to skate down the hall and out of the ER.

Callie grinned at the woman's retreating form. Callie had only been in the pit for about an hour. Because she got to go home tonight, she'd offered to cover for Christina in the ER so she could catch a nap. Arizona had lurked around the ER for majority of that hour. First she'd consulted with her on a broken arm for a 21 year old patient, despite having no interest in anything not involving tiny humans, she'd then brought her a cup of coffee and found a miniscule aspect of the strengthening plan for Alexandra to discuss with her when she took a moment at the nurses station to breathe. When Arizona had finally run out of excuses to be near Callie without raising suspicion, she'd taken to sitting and chatting with Dr. Alex Karev – perfectly positioned so that she could observe Callie's every move.

While Callie had absolutely loved the blatant attention, it had severely compromised her ability to think. On the one hand, she'd just rocked a complicated tumor removal and bone grafting on her littlest patient, and on the other she was so fucking stoked on the high of the Dianetti's agreeing to let her operate on their child that she wanted nothing more than to grab Arizona and shove her up against the nearest hard surface. No, Callie chastised herself, we're waiting. She reached into her pocket and retrieved the note, unfolding it to read it's contents.

Meet me at my car.

Exactly seventeen minutes later, Callie opened the passenger door of Arizona's black 2010 Audi A4 and got in. She'd changed out of her scrubs and was wearing black yoga pants and an oversized crew neck sweatshirt. She'd noticed that Arizona had changed as well, but was wearing jeans and a t-shirt, like always – simple, but it suited her.

"I thought we were taking things slow," Callie said with a laugh.

Arizona smirked and backed out of the parking space, heading toward the main road. "I'm just taking you back to your car," Arizona told her, holding the wheel with her left hand and letting her right slide over to rest on Callie's thigh.

"Mhm, my car, right," Callie said, swallowing hard at the contact.

"You were truly impressive today, Dr. Torres," Arizona said as she left her fingers dance softly across Callie's thigh.

"Uh – Um, so were you," Callie replied through a shaky breath as Arizona's fingers started drawing haphazard shapes across the yoga pant clad skin of her upper thigh.

"The way you took command of that OR," Arizona continued as she adjusted, leaning slightly closer to Callie so that her fingers could brush closer toward Callie's inner thigh. "How you stayed calm at every turn – the way you told me, your superior, what to do in my realm," Arizona continued, her voice husky and uncharacteristically deep, "The way you took in a deep breath and smiled, so bright your facemask couldn't even hide it – I was speechless – it wasn't relief, it was pure fucking confidence," Arizona finished, dragging her fingertips along the innermost part of Callie's thigh that she could reach. Arizona was as much in a trance as Callie was. She'd been unable to contain herself, a mix between absolute pride at Callie's work today, and absolute lust for the woman she loved.

Callie's breath caught in her throat and she gasped.

"Open your legs, Callie," Arizona growled softly.

Callie immediately obliged; she couldn't stop herself even if she'd tried. The second her thighs were open, Arizona's fingers slipped lower, continuing her teasing designs on her lover's sensitive inner thigh. Callie's eyes fluttered shut as she felt that familiar warmth start to pool in her lower abdomen.

Arizona had kept her eyes on the road up until this point. She wouldn't dare steal a glance, knowing full well that one glimpse of Callie would send her past the point of return. I'm not above pulling over, Arizona thought to herself. She heard Callie gasp from beside her and she lost her resolve, a red light was approaching and she couldn't help herself. Arizona gently pressed on the brake and turned her head to look at Callie. Her legs were spread as far as possible for sitting in a car, her hips were slightly raised off the chair, leaning into the gentle caressing of Arizona's fingertips. Callie's head had fallen back in pleasure, her lips slightly parted, and her hair falling messily around her face. Callie looked so beautiful like that.

"You are so beautiful," Arizona told her, increasing the pressure of her fingers against her thigh just slightly as the car came to a stop at the red light. Arizona leaned over and pulled Callie's head closer to her and kissed her. Their tongues battled fiercely for a few moments until the sound of a car honking behind them broke them apart. Arizona smirked and pulled away, letting her foot off the brakes at the now green light. At some point during their brief kiss, Arizona's fingers had traveled up Callie's thigh and were now tracing circles across Callie's center.

The brunette moaned loudly at the new feeling. Her insides clenched and she felt the previously faint throbbing of her clit start to increase. Her body was on fire, needing more from the beautiful woman sitting next to her. She wanted to grab Arizona's hand, shove it down her pants and make Arizona maintain eye contact while she helped the blonde make her cum, but she couldn't, Arizona was driving and they were still 10 minutes from her apartment. Callie could barely stand the torture any longer and bucked her hips upward toward Arizona's fingers desperately trying to increase the pressure of Arizona's fingers against her but the seatbelt across her lap prevented her from achieving her goal. Callie groaned loudly in annoyance.

"Callie," Arizona said, trying to grab the younger woman's attention.

Callie moaned in response

"Callie," Arizona breathed again, "I've been soaking wet for you since we walked out of that OR."

Callie groaned again.

"And when we get upstairs… you're going to sit that pretty little ass down on my face and let me lick your clit over and over until you're cumming so hard you can't even form words," Arizona told her, licking her lips. She'd been picturing it since before the surgery had ended, truthfully – the sight of Callie grinding against her tongue from above. She was beyond hungry for the gorgeous Latina beside her – she needed her. Needed to show her just how infatuated with her she was.

Arizona smirked at the sound of Callie's frustration and adjusted her hand slightly so that her middle and index finger were pressed tightly against the length of Callie's center, earning another deep groan from the brunette beside her. She slowly started stroking her fingers up and down, increasing the pressure with each stroke. After just a few swipes of her fingers, Callie had thrown her head back against the seat, her hips raised slightly, giving Arizona better access. As they approached the last traffic light before Arizona's building, Arizona took this opportunity to slip her hand up and under the waist band of Callie's pants. Thank god for stretchy pants, Arizona thought to herself as her fingers slid under the waistband of Callie's underwear. Both women groaned in unison.

"You're so wet," Arizona moaned, her eyes completely glazed over. She'd lost all ability to control herself at this point, her fingers sliding roughly, yet slightly chaotically across the wetness of Callie's folds. Callie could barely even open her eyes to look at Arizona, the feeling of her lover's hand against her driving her higher and higher. Arizona steadied her hand, finally letting her middle finger curl upwards to meet Callie's clit. She barely had time to let her finger glide backwards over Callie's clit a second time when she heard the woman beside her moan loudly, her hand lying down to grip Arizona's wrist.

Callie held Arizona's hand still and lifted her hips harder, grinding herself hard against Arizona's fingers. She opened her eyes and found herself staring into the bright, slightly darker, blue eyes of the blonde to her left. For a moment they both froze, content to stare into one another's eyes. But as the light turned green, Arizona withdrew her hand with a smirk and held her soaking wet fingers up for Callie.

"Lick them," Arizona told Callie as she turned her attention back to the road, now fully focused on getting them back to her condo quickly. Callie gripped Arizona's wrist and brought the fingers to her mouth, sucking them both in with a groan. She loved licking herself off her lovers fingers, and if she couldn't have them between her legs, her mouth would have to do. She swirled her tongue around the digits a few times before letting them fall from her mouth with a soft 'pop' of her lips. The sound Arizona let out at the feeling of Callie's tongue on her fingers sent Callie into another wave of arousal. Unconsciously, her own hand dropped between her legs and started slowly petting herself through her pants.

"No… Patience," Arizona whispered, stealing another glance at the passenger seat, shooting her lover a dimpled grin and gripping the woman's wrist to pull it away from herself.

"Fuck that," Callie growled back, using her other hand to drop back between her legs. Arizona had spent the whole 15-minute drive to her condo teasing Callie, making her impossibly wet, and she could not control herself enough to listen to Arizona's demands anymore. Arizona gasped at Callie's clearly uncontrollable desire as she turned onto her street, pulling into the parking garage. Callie's panting was getting louder, and the smell of sex was invading Arizona's nostrils so intensely that she could barely concentrate long enough to loop around the garage in search of an open visitor parking space.

"Fuck," Callie groaned again. Arizona knew Callie was close and she wanted nothing more than to stop the car in the middle of the garage, throw it into park, and replace her lovers fingers with her own.

"I swear to god if you cum before I park this car," Arizona warned, pressing her foot down slightly on the gas, driving a little too fast for the inside of a parking garage. She finally spotted an open space around the next bend and stepped on the gas a little harder, whipping her car around the bend.

Callie had lifted her other hand by now and was twisting her right nipple roughly as she bucked her hips up one last time and flew over the edge, completely ignoring anything Arizona had just said to her. "Fuck, fuck, fuck," Callie panted out as a wave of pleasure washed over her and her hands paused their ministrations.

Arizona had just put her car in park, and thank god because her eyes fluttered shut at the sound of Callie giving herself an orgasm in the seat beside her. It took her a moment to gather herself, but within a few seconds she was throwing the car door open and climbing out.

"Let's go," Arizona said sternly, giving Callie a look that let her know she was absolutely fucked when they got upstairs. She walked around to Callie's side of the car to wait for her.

Callie didn't move, she was still coming down from her high.

"I said, let's go," Arizona told her again, opening up the passenger side door and reaching over to unbuckle Callie's seat belt.

Callie's eyes went impossibly darker and she pulled herself out of the car. The second she was standing, Arizona shoved her roughly against the side of the car, her lips attached hungrily to her neck, her hands everywhere and nowhere all at the same time. Callie moaned at Arizona's aggression, excitement pooling between her legs again at the thought of what Arizona planned to do to her now that she'd ignored nearly all of Arizona's final commands.

"You may have been a badass today," Arizona told her, her lips pressed right up against Callie's ear. She slid her hands to Callie's hips and pulled her impossibly closer, "And I may have simply gotten to bask in the beauty of that confidence," she added, licking down Callie's ear to the pulse point on her neck, "but you – Dr. Torres, are going to be whimpering my name when we get upstairs."

Callie gulped hard as Arizona pushed off of her, shut the passenger door, locked her car and headed toward the building's elevators. So much for not having sex again yet, Callie thought as she ran to catch up to Arizona's retreating form.

Okay, another one! Do we want to see this next raunchy scene?

Now that we've gotten to the point we need the Dianetti family at – we're going to be seeing quite a bit of pure Calzona progression, and some more of our girls' friends.
