Chapter 5: The Reverse Polarizer Cannon

AN: Special thanks to Sabre once again for his edits and additions to this chapter.

Kim, Ron, Hego and the Wego twins were standing over Motor Ed and his goons who were all left in a bundled heap.

"Well, that didn't take very long," Kim commented.

"Well, between the two of us and super powered heroes, Motor Ed is a piece of cake," Ron pointed out.

"So what do we do with him?" Hego asked.

"We'll have the police come and arrest him," Kim replied. "Now, we need to see if the others have found anything in that warehouse."

Kim took out her Kimmunicator and tried to beep Hope.

Meanwhile, back at the warehouse, Tara, Hope, Monique and Mego were continuing to stare in shock at Electronique's creation.

"Ok, let me go out on a limb here," Mego spoke. "That thing is basically a bigger version of what you used to scramble our personalities, right?"

"That is correct," Electronique answered. "Very smart, for a hero who's shrinking powers matches his intelligence."

"Hey, shrinking can be very useful!" Mego argued. The then tried to shrink but nothing happened. "Ok, why am I not shrinking?"

Just then, everyone present herd beeping coming from Hope's pocket. Hope tried to reach for her Kimmunicator, but found it hard to do so. And as she struggled, the rope holding the heroes together started getting tighter.

"Ah, ah, ah," Electronique warned. "The more you struggle the tighter the electron rope will get. As for Me-Ego not being able to shrink, the electron rope also cancels out super powers."

She then moved toward the heroes and grabbed Tara, Hope and Monique's Kimmunicators off of each of them.

"You won't be needing these, anymore," Electronique said with an evil smile. She took all the Kimmunicators and threw to the ground cracking all of them.

"Hey!" Tara, Hope and Monique said in unison.

"Anyway, allow me to explain how I came up with the idea for this machine," Electronique said.

"Yes, how? Do enlighten us," Mego said, sarcastically.

Back on the other end, Kim was still trying to get through to Hope with no luck.

"Hope? Tara? Monique? Come in," Kim tried, but no answer. "They're not answering."

"This could mean only one thing," Ron said with a grim look.

Kim developed a grim look herself, "They must be in trouble."

Meanwhile, Electronique was explaining how she came up with the Reverse Polarizer Cannon.

"After I found the repaired Attitudinator in the Hench Co building, I decided to try a more creative way of using it. And that's when I came up with this machine."

"You decided to create a larger version of that attitude changing thing?" Hope asked.

"You are correct, um… who are you?" Electronique asked.

"Hope," Hope answered.

"Ok then, Hope," Electronique said. She then continued. "To continue: I was in the middle of building it when I heard that Kim Possible and her sidekick and their friends were already in Go City, so I sent Eddie to cause a distraction so that I could finish building it."

"So we were right," Tara spoke up. "Ed's rampage was a distraction."

"Of course, it was, umm… what is your name?" Electronique asked.

"It's Tara," Tara replied.

"Right, Tara, thank you," Electronique said. She then continued. "Anyway, this machine is powered by the Attitudinator and using it, I intend to-"

"Turn people from good to evil-" Monique interrupted.

"Well, yes, good guess, um, what is your name?" Electronique asked.

"Monique," Monique answered.

"Right," Electronique said. She then continued. "Anyway, my plan is to completely reverse your wiring and turn not only Team Go, but all of Team Possible, including Kim Possible and the sidekick into my evil little hench people."

Hope, Tara and Monique gasped in horror.

"Oh, please, you really think that'll work this time?" Mego said, skeptically.

"Of course, it will," Electronique countered. "It did last time. And this time, I intend to make both teams into my evil hench people. With you serving me, I will be able to bring Go City and the world to its knees."

She then started laughing evilly.

"Again with the knees thing?" Mego complained. "You really need to stop that."

"Oh, shut your mouth, Me-Ego," Electronique spat. She calmed down. "I was planning to use this on all of Team Possible and Team Go, but since you four are here, I might as well test it on you."

"You're going to turn us evil?!" Tara asked, incredulously.

"No way that's gonna happen, girl!" Monique said with a scowl.

"Oh, but it is," Electronique countered. "But don't worry, you'll find that evil is more fun."

"Over my dead body!" Hope said with a scowl.

"If you keep this up, you will be dead," Electronique snarled as her hands charged up with electricity.

"Leave her alone," Tara shouted, getting the electrical villain's attention.

"And I really think you could use a change in personality most of all," Electronique said.

"What do you mean?" Tara demanded.

"Well, I've been keeping tabs on your team, and they say that you have always been the cheerful, optimistic one," Electronique explained. "That, in turn, is your biggest weakness."

"What are you talking about?" Tara demanded.

"I heard about how this Bonnie Rockwaller girl always made all of the decisions for you," Electronique said. She then turned to Hope. "As well as your friend here." Electronique turned back to Tara. "Face it, little Tara. You will always let people step all over you."

"That's a lie!" Hope shouted, getting Electronique's attention. "Tara and I might have been like that in High School, but we've stepped up after we joined Kim's team. And Tara's the best friend, I've ever had!"

Tara looked touched at what Hope had just said.

"Well, it doesn't matter anymore, I guess," Electronique said.

"You're forgetting one thing sparky," Monique spoke up. "I'm sure Kim and the others will be here any minute."

Electronique turned to Mego, "And by the time they get here, they will already be too late."

"Guess again, Electronique," Hego's voice came.

Electronique and the captured heroes looked to the warehouse entrance to see Kim, Ron, Hego and the Wego twins standing with determined looks on their faces.

"What?!" Electronique exclaimed. "How did you get here so quickly?"

"Little tip, Miss Sparky: you talk too much," Mego pointed out.

Electronique grumbled over Mego's words.

"Hego, you free the others," Kim ordered. "We'll take care of Electronique."

"Not if I can help it," Electronique said before snapping her fingers.

Soon, a bunch of Hench's goons flew through the windows and landed in front of the heroes.

"Did I forget to mention that Hench's men work for me now?" Electronique said with a smirk.

"That won't stop us," The Wego twins said in unison.

A group of men charged at Kim and Ron. As one goon tried to punch Kim, she ducked and punched the goon in the back, knocking him down. Two men charged at Ron and tried to throw punches at him, but Ron avoided both punches and grabbed both men by the arms. He then swung the men around and smashed them into each other.

Two men charged at Hego, but Hego punched both of them, knocking them down. A group of men charged at the Wego twins, but the twins multiplied and surrounded the goons.

"You don't stand a chance against all of us," The duplicates said in unison.

As this happened, Electronique went to the back control panel of the Reverse Polarizer Cannon.

"While your friends are being distracted..." Electronique said to her captives. "...What do you say we continue our little test, shall we?"

Just then, she felt something bite her leg.

"Ouch!" She exclaimed.

She looked down and saw Rufus chewing on her leg.

"Ugh, you again," Electronique said in disgust. "Let's see if can still avoid my shoe, you hairless rat."

She raised her foot and tried to crush Rufus, but Rufus scurried in different directions as Electronique tried to catch him.

Hego, who had taken down a group of Hench's men, ran over to the captured heroes and tried to pull the electron rope apart.

"Hego, don't," Hope shouted.

"The more you pull on it, tighter it gets," Tara warned.

"And I can't shrink because of it!" Mego begged.

"Well, then what do I do?" Hego asked.

"Well, how about you destroy the thing powering the rope over there, you big dolt," Mego suggested, gesturing to his right.

Hego looked to see what looked like a purple and black cannon a few feet away from the captured heroes. It was the electron rope emitter that was keeping the rope powered up.

"Got it," Hego said before running to the rope emitter.

With one swift karate chop, Hego destroyed the emitter and freed the captured heroes.

"Finally," Mego said as he was freed.

"Thanks, Hego," Monique said.

"Anytime, citizen," Hego responded with a smile.

As Electronique was still struggling with Rufus, she looked to see that her captives have been freed.

"No!" Electronique gasped. She then spoke to the remaining henchmen standing. "Don't just stand there, you big dolts get..."

"Hey, only I can use that word!" Mego interrupted. "And when I'm talking to Hego!"

Hego turned to his brother, "Ugh, why do you call me a big dolt?!"

Mego looked at Hego, "Because you have a big body and a small brain."

Hego gasped, "Mego, I freed you and the others from that electron rope and this is the thanks I get?!"

"No, I was just ranting, of course it's the thanks you get you big dolt!" Mego replied to Hego's question.

"Mego, you need to see a shrink," Hego pointed out.

"I don't need a shrink!" Mego countered. "I'm a shrinker!"

"Enough!" Electronique shouted, ending Hego and Mego's argument. "I've had it with your bickering!" She then shouted to the henchmen. "Stop them!"

The heroes soon noticed that more of Hench's men charging at them.

"Spread out," Hego ordered.

The heroes did just that.

Electronique turned her attention back to Rufus who started scurrying away.

"Fine, run all you like, Rodent," Electronique called out. "I have more important things to attend to."

Electronique then tried to run back to the cannon when suddenly, and from a different direction, Electronique found herself being knocked to the ground by Kim.

"Going somewhere?" Kim asked with a smirk.

"Ugh," Electronique grumbled. She then smirked. "You might want to pay attention to your surroundings, Kim Possible."

Kim turned around and soon noticed that three of Hench's men were closing in on her.

Ron noticed this from afar.

"KP!" he shouted.

"No big, Ron. I got this," Kim assured.

Just then, one of the henchmen was kicked and knocked to the ground by Hope.

"Thanks, Hope, but I said I got this," Kim said with a smirk.

"And let you have all the fun?" Hope countered with a smirk.

They soon noticed the two other henchmen about to attack.

While this was happening, Mego and Monique were fighting another small group of henchmen.

One goon threw a punch at Mego, but Mego used his shrinking powers to shrink down and avoid the punch. Mego then grew back up, appearing behind the henchman and punched him from behind.

"Wow, I guess shrinking can be useful," Monique said amazed.

"You better believe it can," Mego said with a proud grin.

Soon all of the henchmen were taken down.

"Heh, all gone," Ron said.

"Looks like we saved the day once again," Hego said proudly.

"Awesome," the Wego twins said in unison.

"Don't be so sure," Electronique's voice came.

They soon noticed that she was standing behind the control panel of the Reverse Polarizer Cannon.

"You may have taken down all my henchmen, but it provided me with the perfect distraction," Electronique said with an evil smirk. "Now prepare to be turned from valiant heroes to evil little hench peoples."

But then Electronique found herself once again being kicked to the ground by Kim.

"Mego's right, you do talk too much," Kim said as Hope ran to her side.

"Now it's time for you to go back to jail," Hope said with her arms crossed.

Electronique growled. "Not if I can help it!"

She got up and used her electricity powers to fire an electricity blast at Kim and Hope.

"Watch out!" came Tara's voice.

Tara came running to Kim and Hope and pushed them to the ground before Electronique's blast could hit them. The blast hit the cannon instead. The cannon started sparking and shaking as if it was gonna blow.

"You idiots," Electronique snarled. "Now look what you've done! My cannon is about to overload!"

"What WE'VE done?" Kim said in disbelief. "You did that!"

Electronique ran up, jumped over the girls and landed on top of the cannon. She then grabbed the Attitudinator off of the cannon, jumped off, pulled out a remote with a red button, and pressed it to activate rocket boots she was wearing.

"This isn't over!" Electronique announced. She then flew towards the exit.

"She's getting away!" Kim said as tried to go after Electronique, but said villain flew out and away.

"We have to get out of here right now!" Hope said in urgency.

The girls started running away. But a spark that came from the cannon, bounced toward the girls and hit Tara in the head, making her lose consciousness and fall to the ground.

"Tara!" Hope gasped.

The others who were making their way out of the warehouse, including the henchmen that just regained consciousness, stopped as they looked back toward the girls.

"KP!" Ron shouted as he ran back towards the girls.

Kim and Hope lifted Tara off the ground putting one of her arms on their shoulders.

"We're fine, Ron," Kim assured. "Let's get out of here."

Ron nodded. He ran back towards the exit while Kim and Hope carried Tara out.

They made it out just in time, right before the place exploded.

The explosion knocked the heroes forward to the ground.

"Wow, that was quite the firework show," Ron commented.

The other heroes got up and dusted themselves off.

"Everyone, ok?" Kim asked.

"We're fine, girl," Monique assured.

They heard the sound of groaning and looked to see Tara getting off the ground with a hand on her head.

"Tara!" Hope exclaimed. She was relieved to see that her best friend was alive.

"Are you ok?" she asked as she helped Tara to her feet.

"I'm fine, Hope," Tara said groggily. "But my head hurts."

Tara faltered as she stumbled back. The others looked concerned.

"Are you sure you're alright, Tara?" Kim asked.

"I'm fine, Kim. Just a little headache," Tara tried to reassure her friends. "I just want to make sure you're alright."

"We're all just bon-diggity," Ron said. "Electronique escaped, but we blew her crazy contraption."

Tara's expression went hard, "I wish Electronique were here so I could kick her butt for what she tried to do to my friends."

She then held her head in pain again. The others were concerned about this along with Tara's outburst.

"Girl, are you sure you're alright?" Monique asked.

"Yes, I'm fine," Tara answered. "Sorry, I don't know what came over me."

"It's ok, Tara," Kim said. "We should get you to a hospital."

"Or I have an idea," Ron spoke up. "I could heal her myself with my MMP."

"Uh, Ron..." Kim was about to remind Ron that Team Go was there.

"It's alright, Kim," Ron assured. "They know about the MMP."

"Really?" Kim said surprised. "How?"

"Ron's Sensei contacted us and told us about Ron's hidden potential," Hego answered.

"To be honest I was pretty shocked that we weren't the only ones with super powers," Mego added.

"But we thought," Wego 1 said.

"It was awesome," Wego 2 added.

"Booyah!" Both Wegos finished.

"But how do you know that they know?" Kim asked Ron.

Ron shrugged, "We keep in touch."

Kim was surprised, but decided to take their word for it.

"Ok," Kim said.

Ron moved towards Tara and put his hand on her forehead. His hand then started glowing.

A few seconds later, Ron ceased using his MMP and took his hand off Tara's head.

Tara started feeling her forehead.

"Tara, are you alright?" Hope asked.

"I feel great," Tara said, happily. "Good as new."

"Glad to hear it," Ron said with a smile.

"Hey, Tara," Kim spoke. "Thanks a lot for helping us."

"Anytime, Kim," Tara said with a smile. "Hope was right. I have been stepping up a lot, but I don't think I would be where I am if it wasn't for you and Ron."

"Gee, thanks, Tara," Kim responded with a smile.

"Look, hate to break up the friend fest but," Mego chimed in. He then pointed to the smoldering wreckage of the warehouse. "Maybe we should do something about that."

"Got it," Kim said.

She took out her Kimmunicator and beeped Wade.

"Wade, can you get the fire department over here?" Kim asked.

"Sure, is everything alright?" Wade asked, concerned.

"Yes," Kim replied. "Electronique got away, but we stopped her plot. But the warehouse she was in blew up as a result."

"I'll get the fire department over there right away," Wade said.

"Please and thank you," Kim said with a smile.

Kim put her Kimmunicator away and turned to the rest of the group.

"Alright, everyone, today has been one heck of a sitch, so how about we all go get something to eat," Kim suggested.

Everyone murmured in agreement.

"How about the Mucho Grande Bueno Nacho here in Go City," Ron suggested.

"I thought you didn't like that place because it doesn't serve Nacos," Monique pointed out.

"I'm over it," Ron said with a wave of his hand. "Besides, I'm too hungry to care anyways."

"Alright, Bueno Nacho it is," Kim agreed. She turned to the rest of the group. "You good with that?"

Everyone else nodded.

"Booyah!" Ron said in excitement.

"Booyah!" chirped Rufus in Ron's pocket.

With that, everyone started walking away from the warehouse. What they didn't notice was that, as Tara was walking, little red sparks bounced around her head.
