Kim Possible: The Sitch Of College: Bad Girl
Chapter 9: A Couple Of Bargaining Chips
Crystal and Doug were walking through town dressed in their halloween costumes. Crystal was dressed as Dorothy and Doug was dressed as the scarecrow from the Wizard Of Oz. Since the dance was in an hour, they decided to take a walk around town.
They were walking and conversing with one another.
"So Crystal," Doug spoke. "You excited for the dance?"
"Why, of course, I am," Crystal spoke with a smile. "Especially, since I'm going there with you."
Doug gained a goofy smile, "I'm looking forward to it, Crystal. And I'm especially looking forward to people seeing us in our costumes."
"Yeah, me too," Crystal said. "I think it was a great idea for us to dress as Dorothy and Scarecrow from Wizard Of Oz."
"Me too," Doug said. "I loved watching Wizard Of Oz when I was younger."
"Sounds very nice," Crystal responded. "And I bet people will be talking about our friends' costumes as well."
"You got that right," Doug commented. "Especially Kim and Ron's."
"Heh heh, yep," Crystal said. "I still can't believe they decided to dress up as Westley and Buttercup from The Princess Bride."
"Me neither," Doug added. "I bet people will be talking about that for a long time."
Crystal suddenly developed a serious look.
"What's wrong?" Doug asked.
"Well, it's just," Crystal hesitated. "I'm worried about Tara."
"I know what you mean. She has been acting really weird today," Doug agreed. "And now I'm hearing that she might have electrocuted Giselle?"
"Yeah, I know, right?" Crystal said. "I know people like Giselle have these things coming, but I've never known Tara to pull pranks on people, let alone ones that are this heinous."
"Yeah, me neither," Doug said. "Maybe something happened to her?"
"Hmm, now that I think about it, that is a possibility," Crystal answered.
"Well, maybe we'll find out sooner or later," Doug said.
"I hope so," Crystal said with a sigh.
She suddenly had a thought.
"Come to think of it, it's not the first time that Tara was acting weird," Crystal spoke up.
"It's not?" Doug asked, confused
"Remember when we told you about what happened right before Ron proposed to Kim?" Crystal explained.
"Yeah, I do," Doug answered. He realized, "Oh, you're talking about when Tara turned out to be B- you know who, in disguise."
"Yep," Crystal groaned. She was thankful that Doug didn't mention Bonnie's name.
"I highly doubt that's what's happening," Doug said. "That evil witch has been locked up for a couple months ever since the last time she nearly took over the world. I don't think we have to worry about her impersonating anyone else for a while."
Crystal sighed. "I know, Doug. I know."
"Hey, guys," the voice of Zita came.
Doug and Crystal looked to see Felix and Zita walking towards them. They were wearing their Halloween costumes. Felix was dressed as Robin and Zita was dressed as Starfire.
"Hey, Felix. Hey, Zita," Crystal greeted with a smile.
"You guys are ready for the dance?" Doug asked.
"We sure are," Felix replied.
"Definitely," Zita added.
"We just decided to take a little stroll around town," Felix said.
"Hey, Robin and Starfire, cool costumes," Doug commented.
"Thanks, Doug," Felix said with a smile.
"Your costumes look very nice as well," Zita commented.
"Why thanks, Zita," Crystal said with a smile.
Then, they heard a voice.
It said, "Yes, Electronique has another plan to take down Team Possible."
"What was that?" Felix asked, wondering where the voice came from.
"It came from down here," Zita whispered.
Zita peaked around a corner to an alleyway and saw a few red suited men talking to each other. Felix, Crystal and Doug were behind her.
"Zita, what do you see?" Felix asked.
"Hench's goons," Zita answered.
"You mean, that shady business guy who deals with villains?" Doug asked.
"Yeah, but Kim told us, a villain from Go City took over his company," Felix explained.
They heard the men talking.
"I sure hope that Electric lady knows what she's doing," one man said. "We've had enough trouble with Team Possible as it is."
"Don't worry," another man said. "Electronique and her new partner have a plan that even Team Possible won't be able to stop."
"New plan?" Zita repeated.
"New partner," Felix added.
"Who's Electronique?" Crystal whispered.
"She's the villain Kim, Ron, Tara and Hope dealt with yesterday in Go City," Zita replied.
"But that is she up to now?" Felix wondered aloud. "And who is this new partner of hers?"
"I don't know," Zita answered. "But I have a feeling, it's not good."
"Maybe, we should follow them?" Felix suggested.
"Good idea," Zita agreed. "We'll need to find out what Electronique is planning before we can plan on how to stop her."
She turned to Crystal and Doug and spoke.
"Can you let the others know where we're going in case we're not back in time for the dance?" Zita asked. "I'm pretty sure this might take a while.
Doug and Crystal nodded.
"Sure," Doug replied.
"No problem," said Crystal. "Should we also let Kim know that something might be happening?"
"We'll have Wade do that," Zita suggested.
As soon as the goons were done talking, they moved out of the alleyway, opposite the direction of Felix, Zita, Doug and Crystal.
"Come on, we'd better keep up with those guys," Zita said as she moved through the alleyway.
Felix followed her.
As soon as they got to the other side of the alleyway and to another side of the street, they soon noticed the HenchCo goons, driving away in a black car.
"Looks like those guys have a ride," Zita commented.
"Luckily, we have our own ride," Felix reminded Zita.
Felix's cyber robotic wheelchair activated it's hoverjets and started hovering in the air.
Felix offered Zita his hand.
"Need a ride?" he asked.
Zita smiled and took Felix's hand and climbed up onto the wheelchair and sat on Felix's lap.
"Hang on," Felix said.
Zita did just that and wrapped her arms around Felix before they took off after the black HenchCo car.
After cheer and football practices, Kim and Ron headed back to the apartment to get ready for the Halloween dance.
Ron, dressed as Westley again, was sitting on the couch waiting for Kim to freshen up.
"Oh, Ronnie," Kim's voice came in a sultry tone.
Ron turned to see Kim coming out of the bathroom, once again dressed as Princess Buttercup. She was also wearing lipstick. Ron smiled upon seeing his wife.
"Ready to go?" Kim asked.
"Of course, my most badical bride," Ron answered.
"You know, we still have a little while before the dance, Ronnie," Kim spoke up.
"So what do you want to do until then, KP?" Ron asked.
"I can think of a few things," Kim said with a smirk.
Ron smirked himself before he and Kim leaned in for a kiss. But just before they were about to kiss, the kimmunicator went off.
"Ugh," they both groaned.
Kim answered the kimmunicator, "Go Wade."
"Bad time?" Wade asked.
"Ferociously," Kim and Ron said in unison.
"Sorry, we've got a bit of a situation," Wade spoke.
"What is it?" Kim asked. "Have you finished analyzing Tara's brian yet?"
"Funny you should mention that," Wade replied. "I didn't finish analyzing the brain scan you got off of Tara yet, but I didn't get something equally as useful."
"What is it?" Kim asked.
"Hego sent me footage taken the last night the moment the blender incident occurred," Wade answered. "Take a look at this."
The screen switched to the kitchen in the Go City Bueno Nacho.
Ricky was leaving the kitchen. And a minute after he left through the kitchen door, it opened again by itself.
"Um, ok, how does a door open by itself?" Ron asked, wearily.
The video also showed the blender being opened and sabotaged resulting in what would happen to Ricky a few seconds later.
"Yep, that does seem heavily weird," Kim commented.
"Could it be a ghost?!" Ron suddenly freaked out.
"Relax, Ron, it wasn't a ghost," Wade said.
"Then what could make a door move by itself?" Kim asked with a raised eyebrow.
"The wind, maybe," Ron suggested.
Kim rolled her eyes, but smiled, "You're something else, Ronnie."
Ron shrugged, "I am who I am, KP."
"Whoever went into the kitchen was wearing a cloaking device," Wade pointed out. "And I've already figured out who."
Wade switched the screen to a video taken by another security camera, this time of the dining area.
"This is footage taken at the exact same time," Wade explained. "And watch what happens when I zoom into the kitchen area."
Wade zoomed the video into a corner where the kitchen door was. The video showed Ricky leaving the kitchen. After that Tara was seen moving next to the kitchen door. She then activated the cloaking device that she had, which turned her invisible before moving into the kitchen.
Kim and Ron's eyes widened as their suspicions were confirmed.
"So it was Tara who sabotaged Ricky last night," Kim said.
"Well, she did admit that to Hope, so I can't say I'm really surprised," Ron pointed out.
"Yes, but that's not the only reason I wanted to show you this," Wade spoke, now sounding serious. "I also found proof that Tara was affected by the attitudinator."
"What is it?" Kim asked.
"Take a look at this," said Wade.
First Wade rewinded the footage to the part right before Tara turned herself invisible. Then he zoomed in on Tara's head. And he enhanced the video so they could get a better look at it. Kim and Ron's eyes widened at what they saw. There were tiny red sparks bouncing around Tara's head.
"Ok, that's not normal," Ron commented, looking shocked.
"No, it is not," Kim added, equally as shocked.
"Those sparks definitely look like they came from the attitudinator," Wade said. "Which means you were right. Tara was affected by Electronique's machine."
"And now she's evil," Kim finished with a worried look. "I knew something was up when she pulled those pranks on Ricky and Giselle."
"Evil or not, I can't believe Tara would actually pull pranks like that," Ron commented. "It's just, just…"
"Sick and wrong?" Kim guessed.
"I was gonna say wrong-sick, but sick and wrong works," Ron said with a shrug.
"We need to find Tara before she does something worse," Kim suggested.
"Kim, no offence, but how worse could Tara get?" Ron pointed out. "Sure she shocked Giselle and got milkshake all over Ricky, but-"
"Ron-" Kim interrupted. "Being evil might make Tara capable of things even she doesn't know about. Remember when you were affected by the attitudinator? You were acting like you were more capable of evil then even Drew was."
"Well, that is… true," Ron said.
Kim turned back to Wade.
"Wade, any idea where Tara is?" Kim asked.
"No, but there's something, I think you should know about," Wade spoke.
"What is it?" Kim asked.
"Felix and Zita were listening in on a few of Hench's goons. They were talking about some new plan that Electronique has. They also mentioned she has a new partner," Wade informed.
"A new partner," Kim and Ron repeated in unison.
"Who is this new partner?" Ron asked.
Kim thought of something and went wide eyed. Ron had the same realization.
"Uh, Kim, you don't think-" Ron started.
"Let's not jump to conclusions yet," Kim pointed out before turning to Wade. "What is Electronique planning this time?"
"We don't know yet," Wade said. "But Felix and Zita are following the goons to spy on Electronique."
"Ok, just tell them to be careful," Kim said with a serious face. "Because if I'm right, we all might be in for a big shock."
"Right, one more thing," Wade said. "Team Go is on their way to Burbank to help. They're bringing Shea with them too."
"Shea?" Kim and Ron said in unison.
"Her brothers thought Shea could help us," Wade explained.
"Ok, tell them to meet us at the gym in Starlight University," Kim said.
"You got it," Wade announced. "I'm going to continue analyzing Tara's brain scan to see if I can find anything else. I'll let you know if I find anything. Wade out."
Just then, Kim and Ron heard a knock on the door.
Kim went over to the door and saw Hope and Monique on the other side.
"Hey, Kim, have you seen Tara?" Hope asked. "She wasn't in our apartment and she's not answering her kimmunicator."
Kim and Ron looked at each other nervously.
Kim turned to Hope, "Funny you should mention that."
Meanwhile, in an old warehouse stood an old machine that once belonged to Professor Dementor. Electronique was looking up at it with glee.
"So this is your big plan?" Tara, who stood behind Electronique, asked.
"Yes, as a matter of fact it is," Electronique replied. "This modified version of Professor Dementor's Counter Electrodynamic Concentrator is perfect for what I have planned."
"You mean, we, don't you?" Tara said with her arms crossed.
"Now let's not have any ego problems," Electronique warned. "Yes, this is our plan. But right now you are still my protégé."
"Yes, I know the drill," Tara groaned. "But, I think we should get on with my part of the plan."
"And what exactly is your hurry?" Electronique asked.
"I told you, Kim and the others are already suspicious of my behavior," Tara replied in an irritated tone. "If they already find out I'm evil, then my plan to act as bait will be useless."
"Hmm... I suppose you're right," Electronique said.
"Electronique," Came one of Hench's goons.
"What is it?" Electronique demanded, impatiently.
"Kim Possible and her sidekick already know that your machine affected their teammate," The goon announced.
"What?!" Electronique gasped in disbelief. "That can't be!"
"See, I knew they were about to figure it out," Tara said. "Now my plan to lure them into a trap really will be useless."
Electronique groaned, but then calmed down, "It doesn't matter. If Team Possible knows, then they'll probably trace you here. We just have to be ready for when they arrive."
"If you say so," Tara groaned.
Tara and Electronique were unaware that just outside the warehouse, Felix and Zita were listening. And the conversation they just heard left them wide-eyed.
"I can't believe it," Felix said in disbelief. "Tara was turned evil?"
"We have to get Kim and the others right away," Zita said.
"I don't think so," A voice said behind them.
Felix and Zita turned to see a group of Hench's goons surrounding them.
"You're not going anywhere," One goon said.
"We'll see about that," Felix countered.
Zita turned on her video game armor and Felix raised his chair's cyber robotic limbs. But just then, a circular device landed on Felix's wheelchair, which sent an electric shock into the chair, disabling it.
"What the..." Felix said.
Before Zita could react, she suddenly felt herself being wrapped around by an electron rope. The same rope wrapped around Felix tying him to his chair.
Having heard the commotion, Electronique and Tara turned to see Felix and Zita being brought into the warehouse.
Electronique smirked and looked at Tara, "Looks like we might have ourselves a couple of bargaining chips, eh, my protégé?"
Tara smirked, "Why, yes, I'd say we do."
Felix and Zita gave nervous looks.
To Be Continued.
