Kim Possible: The Sitch Of College: Bad Girl
Chapter 10: A Trap?
Kim, Ron, Hope and Monique were walking towards Starlight University's gym in their costumes. After Kim and Ron had briefed Hope and Monique on what Wade had told them, the plan was to go to the dance and that Team Go would meet them there. Whatever Electronique or the now evil Tara had to be planning, Kim and Ron had a feeling it would start that night.
"I can't believe Tara is evil," Hope said looking extremely nervous.
"You've been saying that since we left the apartment, Girl," Monique pointed out.
"That is true, Hope," Ron added.
"Sorry, it's just, I'm so worried for my best friend," Hope said. "She already messed with a blender and electrocuted someone. What if she does something worse?"
"So not the drama, Hope," Kim said reassuringly as she put a hand on Hope's shoulder. "We'll turn Tara good again before she does anything worse."
"Yeah, Hope, there's no reason to worry," Ron added. "We've dealt with way worse than evil versions of our friends."
Hope sighed, "Ok."
"I just hope Felix and Zita discover what Electronique is up to," Kim spoke.
"Getting the Attitudinator from her is our only hope of getting our Tara back."
"I agree with you on that, KP," Ron spoke.
Kim, Ron, Hope and Monique soon reached the gym and came up to the door where the ticket stand was. And running the ticket stand was none other than Kim and Ron's math teacher, Mr. Cruise. Along with another young man with short brown hair.
"Ah, Kim, Ron. Glad you and your friends could make it," Mr. Cruise greeted with a smile.
"Good to see you too, Mr. Cruise," Kim greeted with a wave.
When Kim and Ron and the rest of their team first started going to Starlight University, Mr. Cruise was initially nervous about them attending the school. But since mission work wasn't interfering with Kim and Ron and their team's school work, Mr. Cruise became more accepting of them.
"Here are our tickets, Mr. C," Ron spoke, before giving his ticket to Mr. Cruise.
Kim, Ron, Tara and Hope did the same.
"By the way, Mr. Cruise," Kim spoke up.
"Yes, Mrs. Stoppable," Mr. Cruise said.
"We're expecting some more friends from Go City," Kim said. "They have their own tickets. We might have a new sitch on our hands, so our friends from Go City are going to wait with us here until we hear from Wade."
"I can only imagine," Mr. Cruise groaned. "Alright, as they long as they have their own tickets, I will allow them to attend the dance."
Kim smiled, "Thanks, Mr. Cruise."
Kim, Ron, Hope and Monique walked into the gym where the dance was already in full swing. Everyone was dancing and there was a disco ball lighting up the room.
"Ok, so what do we do now?" Monique asked.
"We wait here for Team Go to show up," Kim replied. "And then we just wait until we hear back from Wade about what Felix and Zita discover."
"So all we're gonna do is just wait?" Ron asked. He then gave Kim the puppy dog pout. "No dancing or having fun with my most badical bride?"
Kim smiled and rolled her eyes, "I guess we could have fun until we hear back from Wade."
"I don't mind dancing a little myself," Monique spoke before she turned to Hope. "What about you, Hope?"
Hope looked lost in thought.
"Hope?" Monique spoke up, getting Hope's attention.
"Oh, sorry, Monique," Hope apologized. "I was just lost in thought for a minute."
Before Monique could respond..
"Hey, Guys!" They heard a voice say.
The group turned to see Marty in his Anakin Skywalker costume coming towards them.
"Marty!" Hope said with a smile.
Hope and Marty joined in a hug.
"Well, you're looking handsome, Anakin Skywalker," Hope commented.
"Why, thank you, Padme Amidala," Marty said with a smile.
"Hey, where are the rest of the guys?" Ron asked.
"Oh, Doug, Crystal, Leonard, Jessica, Ben and Sophie are dancing on the other side of the gym," Marty replied. "Josh is over by the concession stand. Jack, Liz, Ken and Marcella should be here any moment."
Marty then noticed one person absent from the group.
"Hey, where's Tara?" Marty asked. "Wasn't she with you?"
The four Team Possible members started to look nervous.
"Well…" Ron started to say.
"Not exactly," Kim said, nervously.
"Come to think of it, I've heard that Tara's been acting really weird today," Marty commented. "First I heard from Josh that Tara was dressed like a bad girl. And if that wasn't weird enough, Sophie told me that Tara might have tampered with Giselle's phone. The way I've heard it, it's like she's become a different person."
The group started to look really nervous.
"You don't know the half of it," Monique groaned.
"Why, what is it?" Marty asked. "Do you know what's happening to Tara?"
"It's kind of hard to explain," Kim spoke.
"Hey, Kimmie!" Came a familiar female voice.
The group looked to see Shea coming toward them. She was wearing the green outfit she used to wear when she was Drew's sidekick and Kim's arch foe. Behind her, were Hego, Mego and the Wego twins.
"Hey, right on time," Kim said.
"Hey, Guys," Ron said with a wave.
Kim noticed what Shea was wearing and smirked, "Doing a little throwback this Halloween, are you?"
Shea smirked, "You could say that."
She soon noticed Marty.
"Oh, hey, there, Marty," Shea greeted. "Haven't seen you in a while."
"Nice to see you too, Shea," Marty said with a smile. He looked at the Team Go members. "But who are they?"
Shea sighed and then introduced her brothers, "These are my brothers, Hego, Mego and Wego."
"Shea used to be on their team of super heroes before she became Drew's sidekick," Kim explained.
"Far out," Marty commented.
"Guys, this is Marty," Hope introduced. "My boyfriend."
"Nice to meet you guys," Marty waved to Team Go.
"Well, it is certainly nice to meet you too," Hego greeted with a smile.
"Hey," Wego 1 said with a wave.
"How's it hanging?" Wego 2 asked.
"Hey, nice costume," Mego commented. "It can't be as cool as mine though. Then again, who else could be cooler than me?"
Marty stared at Mego before whispering to Ron, "Does he have some sort of ego problem?"
"Pretty much," Ron shrugged.
"Hey, I heard that," Mego groaned.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you," Marty said, putting his hands up.
"Well, just don't say stuff like that again, alright?" Mego said.
"Guys! Knock it off!" Shea ordered. She sighed and turned to Kim. "So Kimmie, what's the deal with Ms. Sparky?"
"We don't know yet," Kim answered. "We're still waiting to hear back from Wade about what Felix and Zita discovered."
"I sure hope we hear from him soon," Hego spoke up. "Because if I'm right, the situation with Electronique and your friend might be more serious than we thought."
"We already know what's happened to Tara," Kim spoke. "And don't worry, once we find Electronique, we'll get Tara back too."
"Uh, guys," Marty spoke up. "Mind filling me in on what exactly is happening?"
The Team Possible members looked at each other nervously.
"Well," Kim started. "It's like this."
Back at Electronique's warehouse, Felix and Zita were each tied to a chair with electron rope, the former being Felix's wheelchair and they were both gagged.
Electronique and Tara stood over them triumphantly.
"Well, now, um.." Electronique turned to Tara. "Who are these two?"
Tara sighed, "Felix and Zita."
"Right," Electronique turned back to Felix and Zita. "I am afraid that now there is nothing you two can do to stop me from completing the final phase of my plan," Electronique said triumphantly.
"Ahem," Tara cleared her throat while glaring at Electronique.
"Fine, our plan," Electronique groaned. She turned back to Felix and Zita with a smirk. "But I will admit, it will be exquisitely amusing watching my little protege as she turns Kim Possible, the sidekick and the rest of your friends evil. As she will soon do to you."
Felix and Zita scowled at Electronique for making their cheerful friend Tara into an evil hench person.
Tara couldn't help, but smirk.
"This fool has no idea, I actually have a different plan in mind," she thought.
Electronique turned to Tara, "Now my young apprentice, I'll have to ask you to leave this room for a while, so I can make my demands. And after I send your former friends my little message, you can see about stowing these two away."
"As you wish, Mistress," Tara groaned as she started walking away.
"Oh, and don't worry, I'll make sure to take my time in making my demands for Team Possible clear," Electronique said.
Tara smirked as she walked away and thought, "That's right, you fool. Keep believing that you are my mistress. You won't be for long."
Back at the dance, Marty was listening to Kim and the others about what happened to Tara and how their old foe from Go City was involved.
"Ok, so you're telling me that Tara is evil now?" Marty said in disbelief. "That sounds so weird."
"Yeah, and that's not even the worst part," Kim said.
"There is a strong possibility that Tara and Electronique might be working together," Hego added.
"And they might have a plan to take us out," Hope said nervously.
"Well, isn't there a way to turn Tara back?" Marty asked.
"There is," Kim spoke up reassuringly. "We just have to get the attitudinator back from Electronique. And use it to change Tara back."
"And take miss electrical villain down for the count," Ron added..
"Yeah!" Rufus said in Ron's pocket.
"I still can't believe Hench got that overgrown helmet fixed after Dr. D destroyed it," Shea groaned in disbelief.
"I can't believe that this personality switching thing was used to turn you good before you actually turned good," Marty said to Shea.
"Believe it, Kid," Shea responded. "And just to be clear, I may be good now, but there are times when I can still be bad."
Marty nodded nervously, "Got it."
"Yeah, we believe that, Girl," Monique said nervously.
Just then, Kim's kimmunicator started beeping.
"What's the sitch, Wade?" Kim answered. "Did Felix and Zita discover what Electronique is up to?"
"Oh, they did, alright," Wade responded, sounding nervous. "But that's the good news."
"Oh, I hate it when he says that," Ron groaned.
"What's the bad news?" Kim asked.
"Electronique captured them," Wade said.
Kim's eyes widened, "What?"
"How do you know that?" Hope asked.
"Electronique sent a video to your website," Wade said. He typed in some keys, "Here."
Electronique's face appeared on the kimmunicator's screen.
"Greetings, Team Possible," Electronique said. "You have something, I want and I have something, you want."
She turned behind her to reveal Felix and Zita tied up and gagged.
"Felix! Zita!" Ron exclaimed.
"Here's what's going to happen, Kim Possible," Electronique continued. "I'm sending your tech, lesser-than-me, Tech-whiz, my coordinates. If you and your sidekick are not at this warehouse within the next thirty minutes, then your friends will pay the price," Electronique smirked. "Or I might just turn them evil."
Kim scowled at that.
"Ta-ta, fools," Electronique said with a wave.
The screen switched back to Wade.
"So this villain from Go City has Felix and Zita?" Marty said in disbelief.
"Ok, that's just sick and wrong," Ron groaned. "Or maybe it's wrong-sick."
"Wade, do you have Electronique's location?" Kim asked.
"Yes, it's in a warehouse on the other side of town," Wade announced.
"Why would Electronique just tell us where she is?" Hope asked.
"Duh," Shea said. "Because she wants to lead us into a trap."
"Shego's right," Hego announced. "Electronique obviously has a trap planned for us. And if your friend Tara is involved, she probably doesn't want us to know that either."
"Well, trap or not, we've got to get over there and rescue Felix and Zita," Kim said in a serious tone. "And if Electronique still has the attitudinator, we might be able to get it so we can change Tara back to good."
"I'm with you on that 100%, KP," Ron spoke.
"Ron and I will go check out that warehouse," Kim announced. "The rest of you guys will wait here in case we get caught in Electronique's trap."
"Wait, Kim, I want to go with you," Hope spoke. "If Tara's there, I have to be there to save my best friend."
Kim sighed, "Hope, I know you want to help Tara, but it'll probably be too-"
Kim stopped speaking when she noticed Hope develop a familiar look on her face.
"Oh no, not the puppy dog pout," Kim groaned. "Alright, you can come."
Hope's expression turned to one of happiness as she hugged Kim.
"Thanks, Kim," Hope said happily.
Kim chuckled, "Your welcome."
Marty spoke up, "Is there anything I should do?"
Kim thought for a moment, "Well, just try to pretend nothing's wrong. We don't want the others to get scared. Especially Josh. Just keep them reassured."
"You can count on me," Marty said with a smile.
Hope kissed Marty on the cheek.
"Thanks, Marty," she said.
"And if anyone else tries to crash the dance, make sure you stop them," Kim ordered.
"Don't worry, Girl, we can handle it," Monique spoke.
"And we'll be waiting here until we hear from you," Hego assured.
"Just make sure you don't get yourself into trouble, Kimmie," Shego said with a smirk.
Kim smirked and turned back to Ron and Hope.
"Alright, guys, we got to move fast," Kim said. "Let's go."
"On it," Ron and Hope said in unison.
With that, Kim, Ron and Hope moved toward the exit.
"So we're just gonna sit here and wait," Mego groaned. "That's just fantastic."
"Oh, will you zip it, Mego?" Shea ordered.
"Alright, guys, let's just go enjoy the dance," Marty said. "Pretend nothing's wrong and whatever you do, don't let Josh know what happened to Tara. We don't want him to know that his girlfriend is evil."
"Relax, we know the drill," Shego said.
Back at the warehouse, Felix, still tied to his wheelchair and Zita were being thrown into a closet by two henchmen. After Electronique sent her message, she ordered Tara to stow Felix and Zita. Electronique also told Tara that she could turn them evil with the attitudinator whenever she was ready. After Felix and Zita were thrown in the closet, Tara stood over them triumphantly with the attitudinator in her hands.
"Oh, don't worry, Guys, I'm not going to turn you evil," Tara said with a smirk.
Felix and Zita looked confused.
"You see I have a much better plan in mind," Tara said, whispered before closing the closet door.
Felix and Zita struggled to move and speak, but couldn't because they were still gagged.
Tara, still holding the attitudinator in her hand, walked back to where Electronique was standing in front of the Counter Electrodynamic Concentor.
"So, my protege," Electronique spoke as Tara walked up. "Did you turn them evil?"
"Why, yes," Tara lied. "But I'm going to leave them in the closet until the rest of the team shows up. Just so there's an element of surprise in this plan."
"Hmm, I suppose you are correct," Electronique responded with a shrug.
Just then, another henchman walked up from the opposite direction.
"Electronique, our scanners have detected that Kim Possible, Ron Stoppable and the girl named Hope are about to arrive," the henchman spoke.
He held up a tablet which showed Kim, Ron and Hope arriving close to the warehouse and climbing out of the sloth.
Electronique smirked.
"Everyone else from the team except Monique is walking into our trap," Tara said with a sinister grin.
"Those three will do for now," Electronique spoke. "We have no time to waste. We must get in position."
"What if Monique makes some kind of rescue attempt?" Tara asked. "And if Team Go is with her-"
Electronique turned to Tara, "Any sad rescue attempt will be futile against the highly advanced security system this warehouse is wired with. And don't worry, my student. You will have the honor of turning your friends into our hench people."
Tara smirked and thought, "Oh, I'll be turning someone evil alright. Just not all of them"
Meanwhile, Kim, Ron, Hope made their way to the warehouse that Electronique and possibly Tara were located in.
"Well, this is the place," Kim announced as they stood in front of the door.
"So what are we gonna do?" Ron asked. "If Electronique is expecting us, it's not like we can just barge in there. Maybe we should have Rufus check for traps."
"Uh huh, uh huh," Rufus nodded.
"Sorry, Ron, but there's no time for stealth," Kim argued.
"Kim's right, Ron, Felix and Zita need us," Hope added.
Ron nodded, "If you say so."
Kim turned to the door and gave it a swift kick, knocking it open. The three Team Possible members then walked inside the warehouse. It was so dark they couldn't see anything.
"Why is it so dark in here?" Ron asked.
"Oh no," Hope suddenly said. "This is exactly what happened last time."
"What happened last time?" Ron asked.
Just then, they felt themselves being wrapped around by rope.
The lights soon popped on and the three found themselves tied in electron rope.
"This happened last time," Hope groaned.
Then they heard laughing. They looked to see Electronique walking towards them with the attitudinator in her hand.
"I honestly cannot believe you fell for the Trap In The Dark trick again," Electronique gloated. "That is so rich."
Kim scowled, "So your message was-"
"A trap?" Electronique interrupted. "You are correct. I knew when you found out I had your friends that you would spring into action.
"Tell us what you did to Felix and Zita," Ron demanded.
"In due time," Electronique spoke. "But first you should know that this plan wasn't all my doing."
"She speaks the truth," a familiar voice came.
The three turned to see Tara walking towards them with a sinister smirk on her face.
Hope gasped, "Tara!"
"Hey, Hope and Kim and Ron," Tara said with a wave as she stood in front of Electronique. "Surprised?"
"A little," Ron answered. "But we already figured out that your brain was flipped so teaming up with miss electrical villain didn't really seem that surprising."
"Oh, I already knew you were on to me," Tara spoke with a smirk.
"You did? How?" Kim demanded.
"You see, while I was talking to Hope in the hallway, I planted a Team Possible listening device in her backpack," Tara explained.
"You what?!" Hope exclaimed in shock.
"That's right," Tara said. "I was listening to everything you were saying including, the part where Kim had Wade scan my brain," She turned to Hope, "I got to be honest Hope, that was a devious move on your part. You surprise me."
"I was just so worried about you," Hope argued.
"How did you even turn evil in the first place?" Ron demanded. "I know for a fact that I healed you after you were struck by that spark from that machine."
"Glad you asked," Electronique chimed in. "Allow me to explain. Even though, I grabbed the helmet off my reverse polarizer cannon, the helmet's energy must have been mixed in with the cannon while it was short circuiting, hence the reason it affected your friend here."
Electronique gestured to Tara.
"And the effects of the attitudinator didn't kick in until after Ron healed me," Tara continued. "Whatever the reason, because of that it not only turned me evil, but seemed to have made me a little smarter."
"Smarter?" Kim and Hope repeated in unison.
"Smart how?" Ron demanded.
"Smart enough that I can mess with machines and make them do my bidding," Tara answered. "Like how I pulled those pranks on Ricky and Giselle."
"And after I heard about your friend's devious actions, courtesy of my machine, I decided to recruit her," Electronique chimed in.
"And I gratefully accepted," Tara added.
"And we each came up with our own plan to take you down, and bring the world to it's kn-" Electronique spoke before Tara interrupted.
"Ahem, I thought we said, no talk about knees," she said with her arms crossed.
"Force of habit," Electronique grumbled before continuing. "Anyway, allow me to introduce my part of the plan."
Electronique turned to allow Kim, Ron and Hope to see a device that Kim and Ron recognized.
"Wait, isn't that Dementor's Counter Electrodynamic concentrator," Kim asked in surprise.
"It is," Electronique answered with a smirk. "However, it has been modified to fit my needs. In Dementor's hands, it needed some kind of power source, but thanks to the modifications I've made to it, it no longer needs additional power. Using it, all the power in the entire planet will be absorbed into this machine, and as long as my protege cooperates, we shall share that power to conquer the world."
Tara smirked.
"Over my dead body," Kim said with a scowl.
"What is Tara's part of the plan?" Hope demanded.
"Glad you asked," Electronique said before gesturing to Tara.
Tara continued, "My plan was to lure you all here, so that we can use the attitudinator to… turn you evil."
Kim, Ron and Hope gasped in shock.
"It's true," Electronique added. "As you are certainly aware, I still have the additudinator in my possession. Now using it, your former teammate will have the honor of turning you into our hench people."
"Even if you do turn us evil, Monique and the others will get the attitudinator from you and turn us all good again," Kim protested.
"And if your friends try any silly rescue attempts, we'll be ready for them," Electronique countered.
Electronique handed the attitudinator to Tara.
"You may turn them evil when ready, my protege," Electronique spoke.
"With pleasure," Tara said as she aimed the attitudinator at Kim, Ron and Hope.
Kim, Ron and Hope stood with disbelieving eyes.
"Don't worry," Tara spoke, "This won't hurt at all."
"No, Tara, please! We're your best friends! You can't do this," Hope said, eyes pleading.
"Oh, no?" Tara said. "Just watch me."
