Liu Kang (Canon): "Shao Kahn was dead and the realms saved once again from the wrath of Quan Chi and Shang Tsung. Liu Kang had returned home to Earthrealm and went to catch up with his old friends in the Shaolin temple as well as hang out. He knew however he could not stay around forever he still had his duty to his wife and Edenia and now that Shao Kahn was defeated Edenia could enjoy a new era of complete peace and prosperity."

Kitana (Canon): "With Shao Kahn finally deposed and killed in Kitana's mind it was time for Outworld to be rebuilt into a better more prosperous place for all involved. She had built up a strong alliance with the Shokan and trusted them enough to take over Outworld, so she placed the king of the Shokan in charge and kept up relations with them."

Raiden (Canon): "Raiden had considered Liu Kang's words and began to wonder himself what caused their transport to the boiling isles. He went to the Elder Gods for help but was unable to get them to listen to him due to him abandoning his position. Raiden feared there may be a greater evil out there that Raiden was unaware of, and he would search the realms to find whoever or whatever it was."

Jax Briggs (Canon): "The hero's victory had not come at a cost Sonya Blade had lost her life in the battle against Sektor's forcers. Jackson Briggs told the governments of Earthrealm about what had happened to her as well as all the details involving their visit to the Demonrealm. The military hosted a memorial headed up by Jax to honour Sonya's memory and continuing fighting forces threatening Earthrealm just like Sonya would have wanted it."

Sonya Blade (Non-Canon): "Sonya had long hated Kano ever since he killed her partner. But now having him cornered in the Boiling Isles nothing was stopping her from taking him in. He tracked Kano down to remote ice land and beat him in a fight the leader of the black dragon was now under special forces captivity."

Scorpion (Non-Canon): "Scorpion had finally gotten his revenge on Quan Chi he made sure to make Quan Chi suffer before beheading him. Scorpion had finally gotten his revenge his family and clan were avenged, but Scorpion somehow still felt empty he no longer had any purpose in life and nothing he did would bring his family and clan back. Scorpion with no purpose left walked into the forest of this new realm to live out the rest of his days alone."

Noob Saibot (Non-Canon): "Noob Saibot had been loyal to Quan Chi ever since he was reborn in his new form. When Quan Chi tossed Noob aside in favour of his new power Noob's loyalty had snapped. He surprised Quan Chi stabbing him in the back. Noob Saibot was now free to become his own master and form his clan of shadowy warriors starting with Quan Chi."

Sektor (Canon): "Sektor's alliance to Quan Chi had been ruined due to his failed plan, and now he was trapped inside the boiling isles having no clue how to get out. He had also lost his most effective assassin Cyrax after he was recovered and "freed" by Jackson Briggs. But after months of searching, he finally found the portal back to Earthrealm he now was able to go home and rebuild his clan."

Cyrax (Canon): "Cyrax having been freed from Sektor's control helps defeat Quan Chi and Shang Tsung. He felt shame, however for being taken advantage of again by Sektor his cybernetic body was nothing more than a curse. Cyrax wanted to get rid of his cyborg body since he was freed, but could never find a way. This realm has some different magic however so Cyrax hoped that someone in the realm could restore his old human body, the search was on."

Drahmin & Moloch (Non-Canon): "Drahmin & Moloch had been partners in crime for a long time. They had always been serving a greater evil, however, whether it was Shinnok, Shao Kahn or Quan Chi and treated as little more than dirt. But after all their obstacles fell they were free to now do whatever they wanted as well as get all the food they needed. And this new realm made the perfect place for that."

Shang Tsung (Non-Canon): "Shang Tsung for centuries had been serving Shao Kahn as second fiddle Shang Tsung now wanted to rule his own realm. He had played Quan Chi like a fiddle and when he finally deposed of him as well as the Emperor of the boiling isles he took over the place making it his new domain to rule. Along with every soul he stole from the realm now belonging to him, becoming more powerful than he ever was. Shang Tsung was not satisfied with just the Demonrealm however he was going to conquer all realms just like Shao Kahn wanted to do for so long, now begins the reign of Emperor Shang Tsung."

Quan Chi (Non-Canon): "With all of their enemies vanquished the Deadly Alliance turned on each other. Quan Chi defeated Shang Tsung and used all the souls he had accumulated to build himself an undead army. Quan Chi's master Shinnok has been in charge for too long, it was time for the Netherrealm to get some new leadership. Quan Chi's army stormed the Netherrealm the fallen elder god put up a good fight, but he was no match for Quan Chi's army and his own amulet now in Quan Chi's hands. Quan Chi could not kill Shinnok so Quan Chi imprisoned him in his own amulet, now no one could contest Quan Chi's new position as the ruler of the Netherrealm."

Luz Noceda (Canon): "Amity's confession too Luz had not gone the best as Luz was still trying to figure things out. But after the heat settled down, she started to realize she felt something more than friendship and more importantly she cared about Amity more than that. She approached her and told her about this Amity was overjoyed to learn that Luz returned her feelings, so they shared a kiss."

Amity Blight (Canon): "Amity had for a while wondering what happened to Boscha the last time he had seen her she was allying with Shang Tsung. Liu Kang had told her about Shang Tsung's treacherous nature and Amity began to fear the worst. She may have grown to hate her, but she didn't wish death upon her. So Amity searched the castle entrance and eventually discovered her decaying soulless corpse it was not a pleasant experience."

Willow Park (Non-Canon): "Willow had arrived in the place that Luz had come from this place called Earthrealm. She had never seen a place like it before there was no magic insight and everyone relied on advanced technology for everything. The Boiling Isles had some tech, but she had never seen anything like this before when you don't have magic like the Boiling Isles does that is where this stuff becomes necessary."

Gus Porter (Canon): "Gus's realm had been saved but at the cost of his closest friend Willow Park. He had regretted the fact that he was unable to do anything and was unable to save her. Gus wanted to build a memorial for her, so he went to her house and talked to her parents who agreed to set it up. It was a memorial of all the stuff most important to her as well as a picture of her it was perfect."

Hooty (Canon): "Hooty just slept"

Edric & Emira Blight (Canon): "The Blight twins had discovered Amity's crush on Luz and the fact that she and Luz were now together. They had always had a suspicion about what was going on between the two but were never sure. They were happy for Amity. However, there was one thing they were worried about their parents how would they react to discovering that Amity was with a human. The twins from then on vowed to prevent their parents from ever discovering it."

Emperor Belos (Non-Canon): "The Emperor's alliance with Shao Kahn was not meant the last. Both emperors were soon consumed with their power-hungry nature and fought for the chance to rule over all realms. Shao Kahn was more powerful but weakened from his fight with Liu Kang so Belos was able to best him now nothing would stop the titans will of merging with Earthrealm."

Boscha (Non-Canon): "Boscha had let her hatred consume her she had teamed up with a dangerous sorcerer for the sake of getting revenge on Amity. She had, however, began to suspect that this man was up to something, but her hatred was too strong, so she never did anything. She however had overheard Shang Tsung plotting against her so Boscha ran away in shame for trusting him."

Lilith Clawthorne (Canon): "Lilith's eyes had been opened to a new world of magic and monsters. Many decades ago she had made the horrible mistake of cursing her sister, so she could have her spot in the Emperor's coven. She had thought the curse was incurable ever since she found out that Belos had lied to her, but now she thought that maybe one of these other magic users could heal Eda and now her curse completely."
