LANA's POV

"Did you get the sand Kat working Shazza?" I asked approaching her.

"Yeah. It's up and running." she responded firing up the engine.

"Alright. Get it ready. It's time to get the power cells. I'll be right back" I pointed at her as I ran to find Boone and Aisha.

"Guys were leaving Shazza got the sand Kat to work. Let's go." I demanded them as they loaded the skiff with everyone's personal belongings.

"I think you all should see this." Jack ran in sweating and looking worried. We all followed him outside, that's when we saw it. The rings of the larger planet were staring to appear on the horizon.

"What do my eyes see?" Paris asked placing his glasses on his head, as everyone else joined in to look at the view.

'It's starting' I gulped. Never have I ever been so scared in my life.

"If we need anything from the crash ship, I suggest we kick on. That sand Kat's solar." Shazza suggested, starting up the sand Kat. Everyone climbed on board, but Riddick and Johns were missing.

"Where's Riddick?" Jack asked worried.

'Why are you so attached to him kid?'

"Leave him! He wouldn't wait for us!" Paris declared. Then Riddick jumped onto the sand Kat from midair.

"I thought we'd lost you." Paris gulped.

"Johns!" Aisha screamed after him. He came running out of the data container running towards the sand Kat. Riddick offered his hand and pulled Johns in, as they both looked at each other with disgust.

"Miss me?" Johns smirked as he took a seat next to me.

"Urghh" I turned around giving a dirty look. We reached the crash site dogging the graveyard bones along the way. The men jumped off and rushed for the power cells and I helped Aisha and Fry load her tools onto the Kat.

"You wouldn't leave without me would you?" Paris asked Shazza as she gave him a "whatever" signal. He sprinted to the storage container to get his things the minute Shazza gave him the green light.

"So was Riddick right?" I asked her, handing Aisha a bag.

"About everything? Yeah." She responded walking out.

"Lana." Jack called out.

"What?" I asked bringing the last bag out. Jack removed his sunglasses and gazed at the rising rings.

"Guys!" I yelled.

"What!?" Johns screamed as he helped Imam carry a power cell.

"It's starting!" I responded.

"God" Boone gasped as he loaded his power cell onto the Kat. Then came Riddick carrying two power cells, one on each shoulder showing no difficulty. It was a bit amusing, because Boone could only carry one, and Johns had to help Imam carry one and then there was Riddick who carried out the last two like they weighed as light as a feather, when in reality they were thirty-five kilos each. It Makes me wonder how much power he really may have, and if it'll be a problem sooner or later. Everyone looked up, as I looked at Jack who was cleaning the solar dome with a rag removing the dirt to keep the sand Kat going. I looked back up towards the sun and saw the planet rising until its rings enveloped the sun completely. Suddenly the sand Kat went silent and I gulped.

"Shit" Aisha mumbled. Just then we heard this screech like squealing, almost dragon like coming from the spires. I squinted as I saw hundreds of creatures flying out of the spires.

"How many are there?" Johns asked Riddick, but he didn't answer. The creatures started spiraling up into the air.

"Beautiful" Riddick whispered.

"Ya Allah." Imam spoke clinging onto his boys.

"Guys-" Boone started to speak but was cut off by Paris.

"-People, just a suggestion. Perhaps you should flee!" He called out from the storage container.

"Run!" Boone screamed grabbing Aisha's arm. Everyone looked at each other, turned and ran for their lives.

"Let's go!" I tugged at Shazza.

"SHIIIIT!" Shazza screamed as she smacked the steering wheel of the Kat in anger and took off with me, with Riddick following closely behind.

"Come on!" Paris screamed, from the container waving his hands.

"Get in" Boone ordered as he helped the kids into the container. It was a close call as Fry dived into the container right when the creatures swerved past it. Then they shot right back up towards the sky and disappeared.

"Get down!" Fry screamed. I turned to get a glimpse of the creatures right behind us in full pursuit. My eyes widened as Riddick ran towards me and tackled me to the ground. I landed on my stomach which Riddick's hand happened to be wrapped around it causing Riddick to land on my stomach, crushing me. He rolled off immediately lying next to me as the creatures flew over us. I popped my head up to see Shazza a few feet in front of me. She slowly looked back at me and had "the look" in her eyes.

"Shazza" I warned. Too late she stood up and looked at me with a "sorry expression"

"Shazza!" I called after her.

"No! Stay there!" Jack screamed as Imam held him back.

"Stay down, Shazza! Just stay down!" I looked up at Jack who was squirming to get away. I stood up to chase after Shazza, but Riddick grabbed my leg and pulled me down.

RIDDICK's POV

'Did she come here with a death wish?' I growled at her holding her down with my body. When she stopped squirming I rolled off right before the creatures flew past us and towards Shazza. I could hear her flesh rip as they clawed at her skin.

"Shazza, stay down!" Jack cried.

'Too late' I thought as I looked up she flew past us; her body ripped in half, screaming while they carried her away above us, as her blood dripped onto our bodies. I stood up and rubbed my hands to get the dirt off, then gave Lana a hand.

"I don't need your help" Lana growled as she got up and ran past me.

'Bitch' I gave her a low growl.

"Please, I really do think we should go inside. We have to be inside to be able to close the door. Come on, let's go! Go! Go! Go!" Paris said shoving Jack in.

"What is it? What is it now?" Fry asked terrified.

"Like I said it ain't me you gotta worry about." I replied sealing the entrance behind us.

"She should've stayed down. If she only would've stayed down, she'd be okay. She wouldn't have died." Jack started shivering. Lana's sister Aisha went over to Jack to comfort her. I wonder if she'll ever tell the rest that she's not a boy but a girl in disguise.

LANA's POV

"You remember the boneyard? These might just be the fuckers that killed every living thing on this planet." Johns stated waving his flashlight around.

"What are we gonna do now?" Jack asked scared.

"Don't worry kid. We'll get through this."

'Well I hope we get through it, two have already been murdered by those things out there. How long will we last?...and Riddick…damn he's heavy!...hmmmm Riddick, he's not that bad I guess…Oh shut up brain! This is so not the right time!' I knew it wasn't the right time because my sister was giving me a weird look, placing both hands on her hips.

"There's a cutting torch on the floor here. I just can't find it." Fry claimed, as everyone scattered through the corridors to help her look for it.

"Quiet please, everyone." Imam demanded gazing at the ceiling. Few moments later we heard a screeching sound from above. It was the same screeching we heard those creatures make when they were flying out of the spires. They were probably trying to get in, just now.

"Why do they do that? Make that sound?" Jack asked scared. Aisha went over to Jack, and gave him a hug for comfort.

"Perhaps it's the way they see. With sound reflecting ba-" Imam suggested, before he was cut off by the rumbling sound that was coming from inside the container.

"Could be a breach in the hull. I don't know." Fry stated. Everyone looked at each other for a moment; fear lingered in everyone's eyes. Riddick continued to walk ahead of everyone then stopped in his tracks all of a sudden and we heard something that sounded like clawing.

"Come on, Johns. You got the big gauge." Riddick suggested removing his goggles.

"I'd rather piss glass. Why don't you go fuckin' check?" Johns spat back. Truth is no one wanted to know what the hell it was, and absolutely no one wanted to go and check it out.

"I'm not staying here one more second." Paris squealed trying to get to the door. Imam got a hold of him and Fry demanded him to be sat down.

"You don't know what's out there." Johns hissed.

"I know what's in here." He pleaded.

'Boom' we heard a loud bang and turned around to see a claw go through the metal container wall right next to Boone! Aisha ran over to Boone and pulled him away from the wall hugging him tightly.

"Thank god you're alright! That was a close one." I exclaimed.

"Be careful! I don't know what I'd do without you!" She sobbed. He smiled pulling her away, he lightly kissed her on the lips.

"Don't worry I'm not going anywhere" He calmly spoke winking at her. They're such a perfect couple, so adorable together it made me happy to see them care about each other so much, their love for each other is unconditional.

"We have to keep moving" Johns suggested, as we made our way through the container with the cutting torch.

"Now were trapped in a much smaller space. I hate this!" exclaimed Paris. I had noticed that Hassan ran off by himself, and I immediately went to go retrieve him. I made my way through the corridors to find Hassan cautiously scanning the area. I started walking towards him when suddenly Riddick popped out from a corner.

"Extremely bad timing." Riddick said making me yelp. I turned and warned him but he ignored me looking off into the darkness with his mysterious eyes, I turned around to see what he was eyeing at and saw a beast similar to a dragon or a dinosaur!

"Just don't run." Riddick warned, remaining very still and calm. I grabbed Hassan's shoulders who stood frozen in front of me and started walking backwards. The creature was swaying around bobbing his head from left to right. I guess it was its way of sensing us. I stopped for a second and then slowly started backing away again keeping a tight grip on Hassan's shoulders, but then the creature that was perched on a box flew down and came extremely close to Hassan's face and starting sniffing at him. I tightly held on to his shoulders praying to god, but then Hassan broke loose, turned left and started running down the corridor only to be attacked by another flying creature.

"NO!" I screamed there was more than one in this container and they were hunting us down one by one! I let out a little cry when I saw Hassan's lifeless body get torn and dragged away. That's when I felt a strong hand grab my wrist dragging me away from the beast. I saw to see that it was none other than Riddick. He turned his head to get a quick glance at me making me snap out of it and I started sprinting along with him.

"Run!" I screamed as I approached the lights. Johns shinned the light in our direction and Riddick ducked out the way from being blinded by the light. 'Pew pew pew' Johns fired his weapon at it and for a moment there was no sound, then all of a sudden the wounded creature fell from the ceiling resulting everyone to scream.

"Is it alive?" Fry asked, as Johns shun his light at the creature's body.

"It's like the light is scalding it…It hurts them. Light actually hurts them." Fry examined. The creature struggled to move and Johns let another bullet blow through, killing it.

"It's like we landed right in the middle of Jurassic Park huh?" I nervously laughed, while everyone else looked at me with blank faces.

"It's a classic earth movie." I explained.

"This is not the time." Boone said shaking his head.

"At least we know the sons of bitches weakness" Aisha hissed staring at the creature. I looked back at Riddick who placed his goggles back on his eyes.

RIDDICK's POV

She looked up at me, then walked towards me while everyone else was busy examining the creature.

"Thanks" she whispered standing a few feet away from me looking directly into my goggles, while I stared right back into her chocolate brown eyes.

"Never expected the crash situation to get even worse huh?" she spoke with a light nervous laugh. I gave her a low growl.

'I'm not about to be there every time she gets herself into trouble.' A loud thud went off.

"Is that Hassan?" Imam asked, with hope in his voice.

"We'll burn a candle for him later. Come on. Let's get out of here." Johns demanded knowing we still weren't out of the clear. Lana took her eyes off of me, looked back at Johns and started walking.

'Hmm nice ass' I chuckled, following her.

"So we've got one cutting torch and two hand lights" Fry examined, placing the cutting torch in the center of the circle.

'Nice to know some people can still count'

"There's gotta be something we can rip out of the crash ship" Johns thought.

"Spirits anything over 40 proof burns rather well" Paris added.

"How many bottles you got?" Lana asked him.

"I don't know?" he answered.

"Johns, you've got some flares" Aisha pointed out.

"Maybe we got enough light" Fry said looking at Aisha and Lana.

"Enough for fuckin' what?" Johns asked concerned. I knew exactly what they were thinking.

'Go out, grab the lights and power cells, and head towards the skiff. Half of 'em won't even last especially the girl' I thought looking at Jack who looked a bit shaken up.

"We stick to the plan. We get the four cells back to the skiff-"

"And we're off this rock" Lana finished for Fry nodding in agreement.

"I hate to ruin a beautiful theory with an ugly fact…but that sand kat's solar. It won't run at night" Johns spoke with disbelief.

"So we drag the cells, whatever it takes." Fry shrugged her shoulders; she's pretty determined to save her own ass of course, just like old times.

"You mean tonight with all those things still out there?" Jack asked nervously.

"Half of us won't even make it." Aisha whispered so the kids wouldn't hear.

"Alright. How long can this last? A few hours? A day tops?" Johns asked.

"I had the impression from the model…The two planets were moving as one, and there would be a lasting darkness." Imam spoke.

"These suns gotta come up sometime. If these creatures are phobic about light, then we just sit tight, and let the sun come up." Johns replied cockily.

"I'm sure somebody else said that…locked inside that coring room."

"Fry's right. We can't stay locked up here forever, some of those things are in here. How much time do you think we have before we get pinned into a corner?" Boone stated.

"We have to try." Lana agreed.

"We need to think about everybody, especially the kid. He'll be scared out there in the dark" Johns argued.

"Don't use him like that!" Fry yelled at him.

"Like what?" Johns asked pissed off.

"As a smoke screen. Deal with your fear yourself Johns." Fry spat at him.

"Why don't you shut up for two seconds…and let me think of something that won't lead to mass suicide" he hissed. We heard screeching coming from the corridor.

"I'm waiting" Fry spoke crossing her arms.

"Look Johns if you don't wanna come and stay here then stay, but I'm gonna leave. I agree with Fry we have to at least try, we can't stay in here any longer. There are already a few of those creatures in here!" Lana added with a harsh tone.

"Listen-"Johns growled grabbing her arm, pulling her close to his body. Lana didn't move nor did she flinch but just stared right at him with a pissed off look. Boone came between them forcing Johns to release his grip on her.

"Don't you ever touch her again." He warned him, pulling Lana away towards Aisha.

"How much do you weigh?" Fry asked Johns.

"What's it matter?" He asked.

"How much?" she crossed her arms.

"Around 89 kilos, to be exact-"

"You're 89 kilos of gutless meat. That's why you can't think of a plan."

"Is that fuckin' right? Where are you goin'?" Johns started violently walking towards her. I drew out my "grooming appliance" pointing it at his dick making him back away.

"This solves nothing." Imam spoke.

"They're afraid of our light. That means we don't have to be afraid of them." Fry sat next to the girl rubbing her back trying to calm her down.

"And you think you can get us there? In the dark?" Aisha asked.

"No I can't. But he can" She replied nodding her head towards me. Everyone looked at me with hesitation; they still weren't sure about me being around them.

"Just make sure to stay close." She spoke hugging Jack.

Fry grabbed the cutting torch and walked towards the main doors. Aisha slid the door open while Fry waved the cutting torch around confirming that the creatures weren't around. She gave Aisha a nod and everyone jumped out the container huddling together, trying to stay in the light. I almost laughed at how pathetic they looked doing this while I strolled in the dark. Right when we reached the crash ship Fry waved for me and I made my way towards the front of the group as everyone crouched down to the ground. I removed my goggles and scanned the area.

"Looks clear" I said, and Johns stood up. The minute Johns stood up a screeching creature came flying out towards us, forcing everyone to lay down on the ground.

"You said clear!" Johns hissed.

"I said it looks clear." I growled.

"What's it look like now?" Johns asked. I popped my head up scanning the area once more.

"Looks clear" I replied making Lana smirk. Johns and Boone stepped in first to make sure it was clear for the rest of them to walk in, the minute they gave the signal to go everyone rushed in looking for any source of light they could find. Lana was in the back corner of the ship trying to rip off the light cords from the wall. I quietly snuck up behind her without her noticing.

LANA's POV

The moment I turned to call for Jack I was facing Riddick. He startled me standing just centimeters away from my face.

"Urgh! Why do you always do that?" I asked him annoyed moving away from him. He mirrored my movement and didn't let me pass instead he lured me into a corner and wrapped one of his strong, muscled arms around my waist…

"Uhhh what are you doing?" I asked him uncomfortably as he leaned in towards my neck. His lips were lightly brushing against my neck making my skin tingle from his touch. I closed my eyes and pushed my body against his and he reacted by smiling against my neck.

"Wait! No stop it!' I pulled myself away from him shaking my head, but he still had a tight grip on me. I placed my hands on his chest to push him away but...

'Oh god really? Really?' I thought as I tried to keep the dirty thoughts out of my mind, his chest was so...strong...and...

'STOP!' I started pushing him away, but he just gave me a smug look the same smug look he gave me when we were in that room together…alone…kind of like what are right now…
