Chapter 20

New Challenges before the end

It was after lunch that Team RWBY (and Jade) returned to the stadium to watch JNPR fight BRNZ from shade Academy as the crowds continued to cheer for them. Jade watched with his team. Some fun parts he loved like how the fight stopped temporary somehow. Jade could only guess that something had happened as Jaune and the leader of team BRNZ started yelling about something. Another part he enjoyed was when Nora basically defeated the entire team BRNZ and won the game by whacking them with her hammer.

Next was team SSSN vs NDGO and Jade was… disappointed in Neptune for being a ladies man and it obviously affected Weiss and bemused that he was aquaphobic. Which was really ironic when Raphael also told him that in his world there was a god called Neptune who was the god of the sea. Jade could not help but laugh about it as his team, especially Blake asked him what's so funny as all of them don't get the joke. Jade had to explain to them why he was laughing about it.

When he told them about how ironic that a guy who has a name related to the sea is afraid of water. While Yang and Ruby started laughing about it before feeling bad that they found it funny, Weiss just shakes her head at the irony while Blake just chastises him for being rude even though Nep Nep is not here. Of course Jade submits to Blake's demands but… he would still make fun of him in his head.

It gets even funnier for both Jade when Raphael tells him that the trident that Neptune is using is also used by another god of the sea called Poseidon. This got both of them to start laughing (Jade has to mentally laugh due to Blake) about how Neptune's whole identity is ironic as hell. Both of them returned to watching the fight as Neptune shocked the remaining members of team NDGO who were in water. (Water plus electricity= Bad day)

Ruby leans back in her seat and sighs. "Aw, that was so close!"

"Looks like the dorks made it to the next round!" Yang then said.

"Whoever gets chosen would be unlucky to face me yea?"

"I pity whoever has to fight you Jade." Blake just smiled as she held her necklace around her neck.

"To be fair, the people will decide. Still not sure if that is a good idea but… I'm pretty sure that yea, most likely that whoever would be set against me is going to have a bad day." Jade then finished his talk as Oobleck could be heard in the background.

"That concludes the matches for today. Please leave the Coliseum IN A CALM AND ORDERLY FASHION!" He says over the sound system.

"Come on, let's go congratulate 'em." Yang said.

"Well then let's go!" Jade cheerfully said.

The four girls and one guy get up from their seats and start to head out just as the same ribbon-adorned craft passes over the Colosseum, causing Weiss to stop in her tracks and Ruby to bounce into her.

"Uh, what are you viewing?" Ruby asked her partner

"She's here!" Weiss said with a strain in her voice as she looked at the ship flying above.

"Who's here?" Yang then asked.

"Winter…" She mumbled.

"That… does not explain much." Jade then said as Weiss then ran off as Ruby then chased after her.

"Weiss wait!" Ruby yelled as she followed her partner as she left Blake, Jade and Yang behind and confused.

"Uhh… should we follow her?" Yang then asked.

Both Faunuses looked at each other before shrugging and looking back at Yang.

"I don't know about you but… Blake and I are just going to get a drink before we walk around. After all, next morning they are going to announce who would participate in the 1v1s. And most likely it would be me representing team RWBY" Jade mumbled the last part to himself as Blake giggled.

"Sure, I will leave you love birds some time alone." Yang then gave both faunus couples a smirk as she walked away.

"Well then, shall we Blake? How about some milkshakes?"

"Hmm? Sure, that sounds nice." Blake smiled as both faunuses left the stadium and made their way towards the market place near the docking bays.

It was there in which both of them got some milk shakes for themselves before deciding to walk towards the docking bay, because Jade believed that Weiss and Ruby ran off there (Raphael suggested to Jade to go there). Blake agreed because she had no plans and was curious who this 'Winter' was. As they made their way there, they heard sounds of combat which caused both of them to get a closer look at what is going on only to see Ruby and Weiss there watching the fight while cheering.

Ruby could be heard as she yells loudly. Kick her butt, Uncle Qrow!

"Uh... Teach him respect, Winter!" Weiss then yelled.

Jade groaned as he grumbled. "Oh great... Why are they fighting in the middle of a crowd?"

"I do not know… Should we stop them?" Blake then asks back.

"Yup… Hold my drink." Jade grumbled as he passed his milkshake to his girlfriend before walking past Ruby and Wiess.

"Jade!" Both girls yelled as Jade then dashed into the middle of the fight while Qrow and Winter were distracted before using his semblance to bind both of them and held them in front of him.

"What the!"

"Whoa!"

"First of all, WHAT THE HELL WERE BOTH OF YOU THINKING WHEN YOU DECIDE TO FIGHT WHEN THERE IS STILL PEOPLE HERE!" Jade exploded at both Qrow and Winter who tried to struggle only for Jade to tighten it to stop them.

"You should have stayed out of this kid." Qrow grumbled and continued to struggle only for Jade to tighten his binding on him. "Ow! Ok! Ok! Kid you got me."

"This was between us; you should have stayed out of our way." Winter grumbled but did not struggle when she saw what Jade did to Qrow when he struggled.

"So much for being a specialist when you let your petty grudges hold you… And the fact that you did not even bother to evacuate people before you start your mess shows that you are irresponsible!" Jade countered as footsteps could be heard approaching the scene.

"I see that Mr Grayson had handled the issue already…" Ironwood's voice could be heard as Penny, Ozpin and Glynda could be seen behind him.

"General… Good to see you again…" Jade muttered as he then let both of them go as Blake arrived and passed him his milkshake as if nothing had happened.

"Schnee, what did you think you were doing?" Ironwood asked.

"He started the altercation, sir!" Winter explained.

"That's actually not true. She attacked first. And the kid here stopped both of us." Qrow then pointed at Jade who only raised his eyebrow as he took a sip of milkshake from his straw.

Ironwood looked unconvinced before looking at Qrow and asked him instead. "Is that right? And you. What are you doing here?"

"I could be asking you the same thing." Qrow then asks Ironwood the same question.

"I-"

"Now, now, everyone." Ozpin intervened as he walked beside Glynda. "There is a sanctioned fight happening just around the corner at the Colosseum, that I can assure you has better seats... and popcorn." Ozpin finished it off as he swirls his cocoa in his mug.

"Break it up, everyone! We will take care of this mess." Glynda says as she glares at the three. (and Jade as well.)

"Let's go." Ironwood said to Winter before turning towards Jade.

"Jade Grayson, could you follow us to Ozpin's office? We have much to discuss." He then walked off to most likely give Winter a lecture or something like that.

As Ironwood and Winter leave the area, Penny notices Ruby and quietly waves to her, while Ruby waves back. Ruby then leaps giddily onto Qrow's arm, shaking her legs in delight as both Blake and Jade just watch them with smiles on their faces.

"Uncle Qrow!" She yelled as she hung on Qrow's outstretched arm. "Hi. It's so good to see you! Did you miss me? Did you miss me!?" She then asked excitedly.

"Nope." He said as he then pats his niece's head as Ozpin called him.

"Qrow! A word, please."

"I think I'm in trouble." Qrow said to Ruby.

"No shit sherlock." Jade thought to himself as he continued to sip his milkshake with Blake beside him.

"You did kind of tear up our courtyard. If Jade did not stop you, it would all be destroyed." Ruby then said to her uncle.

"Yeah, I did. Catch ya later, kid." Qrow admitted before walking off with the others.

"Well… Guess I follow them; see you guys back at our dorm… This should be interesting…" Jade then gave a kiss to Blake before walking off to Ozpin's office.

"Sure thing Jade, take care." Blake said as she then turned back to Ruby and Weiss who were arguing on who won, even though Jade had stopped the fighting and smiled at her team's antics.

It was then in which Jade caught up with Qrow, Ozpin and Glynda with his milkshake still in his hand. It was then in which all of them had made it to Ozpin's office which showed Ironwood is waiting with his arms crossed while Winter is impatiently pacing about. Jade noticed that Qrow was smirking and instantly knew that something interesting is going to happen.

"What were you thinking!?" Winter yelled at Qrow.

"If you were one of my men, I would have you shot!" Ironwood joined in next.

"If I was one of your men, I'd shoot myself." Qrow admits as he pulls out flask, Jade on the other hand was trying his best to not laugh nor choke on his milkshake. Raphael briefly appeared next to Jade and started laughing.

"Hahahaha! There it is! There it is! Hahahaha! *Wheeze! *" (Raphael is fuckin dead.)

This did not help Jade at all as he started to cover his mouth as sniggering could be heard in the entire room as everyone looked at Jade with seriousness except Qrow, who just smiled and took a swig of his drink.

"My apologies everyone…" Jade gave a pause as he forced himself to keep a straight face before speaking again. "It was very rude of me to laugh when this is supposed to be a serious matter. Please accept my apologies." Jade finished off before giving a bow to everyone in the room much to Winter's initial surprise.

"It is all right Mr Grayson, now with that out of the way, Qrow, why are you here?" Ozpin accepted Jade's apology before addressing Qrow.

"You've been out of contact for weeks! You can't just go dark like that in the field!" Ironwood then yelled at him.

"I'm not one of your special operatives, Jimmy!" Qrow then retorted back.

"General." Winter called her general.

"Whatever. You sent me to get intel on our enemy, and I'm telling you, our enemy is here." Qrow then gets to the point as Jade continues to sip his cup, only to realise that he is out of milkshake.

Ironwood leans against Ozpin's desk before addressing Qrow again. "We know Qrow. Mr Grayson over here told us that already."

"Really? Is that why you brought this kid over here?" Qrow then asked as he pointed his finger at Jade who was starting to type to Blake on his scroll before he looked up to see everyone looking at him.

"Yes indeed Qrow, Jade Grayson had informed us that Cinder Fall and her team are the main threat to Beacon, as well as the one responsible for the infiltration weeks back. Cinder Fall and her team originates from Haven Academy. I have been discussing with James and have come to a conclusion that Leonardo Lionheart is possibly a traitor to us all." Ozpin told Qrow.

"The Headmaster of Haven is cowardly, for a lion. I've done some… Jobs that require me to take some documents from Haven Academy, the guy is willing to give up what my employers needed so easily. So I wouldn't be so surprised that Cinder and her Gang forced him to allow them to join them." Jade admitted as Ironwood, Winter and Glynda stared at Jade while Ozpin still had a straight face. Qrow on the other hand? He just continued to drink.

"Jade Grayson, before you go, do you have anything else to give to this discussion?" Ironwood then asked as Qrow could be seen screwing around as Winter could be seen glaring daggers at him.

"Whatever you do, don't connect your scroll directly to the CCTs or else Cinder would gain access to all your important info in your scroll. Either than that… I got another Vision… It is not good." Jade lied the last part as Raphael told him it was necessary to get the higher ups prepared for it.

"Visions?" Both Winter and Qrow said at the same time before realising that they both said at the same time.

"Go on…" Ozpin said.

"It's not clear to me but… I saw Pyrrha unintentionally killing Penny with her semblance. Who was a robot? Huh… And also that Beacon will fall." Ironwood and Winter noticeably flinched at what Jade had said.

"James?" Ozpin then turned into his fellow headmaster.

"I will tell you later Ozpin." Ironwood tried to avoid the situation.

"I see... you are dismissed Jade; you can leave now." Ozpin said as Jade nodded and stopped at the door before turning towards them.

"I hope you can stop it. Other than that… I wish all of you good night." Jade then exited Ozpin's office as the elevator took him down.

"If the fall is coming tomorrow, from what you showed me then we need to inform our team and Jaune's team on what's to come. Should we?" Jade then asked mentally as Raphael appeared next to him.

"Yea, we need to inform all of them of Emerald's semblance and it's activation sound. She would definitely mess with our minds if we don't inform them.

"Yea, I have them arriving at our doorstep in the morning tomorrow."

"Excellent, I will not bother you. We all need to prepare ourselves for the fall."

With that Raphael vanished as the elevator stopped its descent.

With Cinder's group…

"Are you sure?"

"Bad hair, used a scythe, and smelled like my dad after a long day. It was him." Mercury confirmed.

"What do we do now?"

"Nothing, we stay the course despite the changes to the festival and I have no doubt that Jade had leaked us to the higher ups. Besides, I already have our… 'Partner' to deal with him the next day. For now, get some rest. Everything is still going as planned.

"Yes, ma'am."

"Got it."

A day had passed since that mess yesterday. Jade had gathered both his team and JNPR in team RWBY's dorm. It was which Jade informed both teams of Emerald's hallucination semblance and that the shades are a way to counter them which is necessary. When they asked him as to why he is telling them this information, Jade said that he does not want to take any risks and that Cinder and her gang are going to rig the fights to their favour.

After that they returned to the Amity Colosseum. And the results were in. For team RWBY, Jade would represent them with a sizable amount voting for him to be in the 1v1s followed by Yang. As for team JNPR, it was a no brainer. Pyrrha was chosen by the public to be in the 1v1s. As the names go by for who would be chosen for the 1v1s. Jade was busy talking with Raphael about the details about what could possibly have changed now that the rules of the game would be different.

"All I know for sure is that Cinder would most likely have Emerald use her semblance on our opponent, though I won't deny that Cinder might attempt to use someone to put us out of the picture, either wounded or killed."

"Seems like the good old days as a mercenary. Always have people gunning for our heads."

"Yup… But the finals would be in the afternoon, which no doubt Cinder would commence the fall. But to do it, she needs all of us to panic which would attract all the Grimm, then the White Fang would also join in. But… Ironwood had not fully called back all the androids though…"

"And that means that they would go berserk and attack everyone, including Atlesian personnel. Is that a good thing?" Jade then asked.

"Yes and no. Yes, as in the fact that androids were seen attacking everyone, including their own personal, would see it as a machine malfunction and not a deliberate attack by Atlas. So relations between the kingdoms would be shaken and not damaged. As for no this would still make Ironwood paranoid somewhat. Hopefully he does not go nuts or something like that…" Raphael then finishes off as Jade nods his head in agreement.

"Well then… Looks you got the mornings till all the teams would have finished their match and all of them had one chosen by the public to represent them. So you have time to relax or something. Though… I can't help but be worried that someone or something would come after us later."

"I see… Guess we got to be cautious when we head out."

"Yea, you do you. Imma disappear now." Raphael said as he vanished as team RWBY went to do their own thing before the afternoon arrived with the start of the 1v1 tournament.

"Blake? Do you have anything in mind?" Jade then asked his girlfriend as team RWBY (and Jade) made their way off the Colosseum.

"Hmm? I have no plans; do you have any?"

"Well… We could continue walking around the festival like yesterday. Are you up for it?"

"Sure that sounds wonderful." Blake smiled.

"Guys. Blake and I are going to continue where our date left off from yesterday. So… see you later?"

"Sure! Take care!" Ruby cheerfully said.

"Besides we need to catch up with uncle Qrow." Yang was next to speak as he wraps her arm around Ruby much to her displeasure.

"And I need to catch up with my sister." Weiss just calmly says as all of them nodded before splitting up to go their way.

Much later at Vale...

Both Blake and Jade could be seen enjoying their time together as crowds of people could be seen walking about as the festival continues to be in full swing as people could be seen smiling and celebrating this occasion. It was then that Blake decided to drag Jade into one of the games as she was interested in it and thought it would be fun to play it with Jade.

As they made their way over to the stand, there were a few other fair goers already taking shots of their own. The game was simple; the rifles resemble standard issue Atlesian rifles, complete with a reflex sight, and a red dot laser beam. There would be targets for the shooter to shoot, the smaller and farer the target, the more points would be earned as it would be displayed on an electric counter on top of the shooter.

The range itself is based in a forest in which holographic Grimm could be seen emerging from deep in the forest and advancing on the players, if they get too close, they would lose a heart. Lose all 10 of them, and the game ends for the player. Also larger Grimm would sometimes spawn as well, killing them would reward the player with more points compared to the smaller Grimm. The player also has three grenades that would clear the entire zone for the player, though they have only three of them and have to utilize them with caution.

After some time observing some of the players play and either win or lose, Blake was the first to speak.

"This looks fun… want to have a game?"

"Is that a challenge Blake?"

Blake just nodded and smiled back. "Winner gets to decide what to do with the loser, how about that?"

"Sounds like fun. But I won't lose to you." Jade just smirks at Blake.

"Nor will I." Blake just replied back as both of them paid the fee to the vendor who was running the game.

It was then in which the couple then got into positions with the rifles in hand. Both of them have three rounds total with each round getting more difficult than the last. Also, each round has a total of four minutes to kill as many Grimm as they can.

A buzzer then went off as the first round began. As the game started, a pack of Beowolves came out of the trees and charged at them. A volley of laser shots blast across the range as the Beowolves let out a howl of gain as they disintegrated. Some creeps were also seen as well but they too also die like the rest of them. With little to no effort from our feline couple, the first round ended in a perfect. Both of them glanced at their scoreboard which said that both of them were tied at a total of 8,000 points for both of them.

"Things are only going to get harder Blake; question is can you keep up?"

"You know as well as I that I can keep up, besides, I will make you eat your words when I win this game."

"We shall see Blake."

It was then that the second round started after a couple of seconds of rest. This time an even larger amount of Grimm poured out of the forest and headed straight for the couple. Though they were only aware of it later, both of them had attracted quite the crowd who watched them both as they continued shooting at the Grimm coming at them. It was then that a Ursa had appeared from the forest. Both of them began to focus on it as the rest of the grim got closer. It was in which Blake used one of her grenades which wiped out a large amount of Grimm, including the Ursa. This put her ahead in the total points.

It was then that Jade realised that he was lacking behind and used one of his grenades against a large group of Beowolves and also took out a pair of griffons. It was the buzzer that could be heard signalling the end of round 2. Both of them looked up and it showed the points difference. Jade was at 80,000 while Blake was at 90,000. When Blake noticed that she was ahead of Jade by a decent amount of points, she can't help herself but to taunt him.

"What's the matter Jade? You seemed to be frustrated that you are getting beaten by your girlfriend. Come on!" She smirked at Jade who just raised an eyebrow before retorting."

"I wouldn't get all confident now will ya? The final show has just begun. Let's see who will win the final match!"

The final round could be considered the hardest for a good reason. Many players usually lose pretty early due to the endless swarms or Grimm that would come for them. It takes strategy to attack the right Grimm and when to use grenades. Countless Grimm could be seen littering the fields and disintegrating on masses, despite the losses the Grimm kept coming and the couple knew it. Jade then uses another of his grenades as the slaughter of Grimm continues as the crowd behind them gets even more excited at the spectacular hold out.

As both of them continued, the scores evened out as Jade had managed to catch up with a minute left on the clock, this just resulted in both of them redoubling their efforts as the endless waves of Grimm keep coming. It was then that a swarm of Nevermores came out and began the last push as the endless waves of Grimm on the ground began to thin out rapidly.

Both Jade and Blake knew that time was running out quickie and thus tripled their efforts till there was no Grimm left when the Buzzer buzzed.

"I think I won no doubt Blake, ready to lose?" Jade said with confidence.

"I'm not so sure about that Jade, besides, I did well if I do say so myself." Blake then says back as the final scores appear on screen.

Jade Grayson: 180,000. Blake Belladonna" 180,000.

"Oh… well this is awkward…" Jade then glanced back at Blake who was also surprised.

"Wow, you kids were incredible. It's been a while since I have seen so many people attracted to the store in years. And also that's the highest score I've seen in a while. Take any of the prizes! You both deserve it!"

"So… What do you want Blake?" Jade then asked her as both of them browsed the prizes at the back of the room.

"Mm… How about that fish plushie at the back?" Blake says as she points at a medium sized tuna plushie at the back.

Jade chuckles as he then asks the vendor. "We will have the fish plushie at the back there."

The vendor nodded as he then grabbed the fish plushie and passed to Blake.

"You two have a great day ya hear me?"

"You too!" Jade said back as the faunus couple left as Blake held on to her tuna plushie.

"Soo… do we both win or lose?" Jade then asked his girlfriend as both of them walked away from the vendor stand.

"I take it as we both win. So, what do you want to do with me?" Blake then jokingly asked.

"Well… How about you pay for our lunch?"

"Really? Huh… I thought you would ask me to…" Blake did not finish her sentence as her cheeks rapidly redden from her naughty thoughts in her head.

Jade just chuckled. "Really? It seems that you almost wanted me to do something to you."

This did not help Blake at all as she began to stutter and stumble her words as Jade just rubbed her ears as her face still remained bright red. All while still hugging her fish plushie.

Jade continued on since Blake is still embarrassed and silent. "It's ok Blake, I suppose your 'book is to blame for your thoughts, but besides that, what do you want me to do for you?"

"Cuddles..." Blake meekly said.

"Very well then, let's go back to Beacon for your cuddles." Jade just smirked as he dragged the still embarrassed Blake with him towards the sky docks.

Much later…

After returning to Beacon for cuddles and lunch… Everyone is back at the Colosseum as Professor Port could be heard announcing the first contender of the 1v1 fight.

"Welcome back everyone to the Vytal Festival after a break! Now we will begin the 1v1 fights, and our two contenders would be Jade Grayson from team RWBY and Sun Wukong!"

"Oh Yes! The people have spoken and we have chosen these two contenders to begin the 1v1 tournament!" Oobleck then spoke.

The crowds could be heard cheering as both Jade and Sun could be seen entering the battlegrounds with their weapons.

"Well, as they always say good luck and have fun!" (Raphael told him to say that.)

"Really huh? Well then, I wish the same for you Jade." Sun said as he extended his hand out to Jade.

Jade watches Sun extend his hand out to him. "Yea, you are going to need the luck. After all, you have seen me fight yes?" Jade then took Sun's hand into his before shaking it.

"Yea! You were awesome! But I won't be relying only on luck to beat ya!"

"Good! That's what I like to hear from you. Let's give everyone here a show." Sun nodded back in agreement as they let go of their hands and walked a distance apart as the hype in the crowds continued to rise.

Back with the team...

"Yea! Go Jady! Break his legs" Nora yelled out with enthusiasm. (Please don't Nora.)

"Nora no."

"Nora Yes!"

"So, who do you think would win in this fight?" Jaune then asked.

"I believe that Jade would win in this fight. After all, we saw him yesterday fighting against such odds and still come up on top. So I have full confidence that Jade would win" Pyrrha then spoke to her crush.

"You betcha P-money! Jade will secure us the win in this game!"

"Yea! Go Jade!" Ruby cheered on.

Blake could be seen smiling at the scene but… She felt that something wrong was going to happen soon. It could just be her gut feeling but it had never betrayed her at all throughout her whole life. She could only watch with worry despite everything seemingly all fine as it seems.

Back to Jade and Sun…

The holographic roulette then appeared on screen as it selected a desert-based environment for the combatants of team RWBY and team SSSN to fight on.

*BEEEEP! *

The alarm rang as Jade transformed his guns into a sniper rifle and began sending rounds at Sun who then Staff and blocked Jade's shots before shooting Jade back with his lever action shotgun. Jade then dodged before dashing in and transforming his sniper rifle into his twin hand cannons and fired at Sun.

"And we have officially started the match with both sides exchanging fire!" Port says out loud.

"Oh yes and looks like a clash is about to happen!" Oobleck then spoke.

Both Jade and Sun then dashed in towards each other and clashed their weapons against the other. swords against nunchakus, Thorn and Lumina versus Ruyi Bang and Jingu Bang.

"Not bad, not bad at all Sun, let's ramp up the fight."

"Oh you are on!"

Both of them disengage from the clash as Sun then summons two of his clones who then come straight for Jade, Jade dashed in and used one of the clones as a staging platform as he jumped higher into the air.

"Oh oh oh! And Grayson here had just used Suns clones as a jump ramp! An amazing use of the environment!"

Jade then used his semblance who then struck the ground where Sun used to be before pulling himself towards the ground with a thunderous slam as dust and sand went into the air and covered the whole battleground.

"I can't see any of them! Can you?" Port then asked his fellow commentator.

"No I can't! Can any of you?"

Even though no one could see what was going on, they all could hear gunfire and the sounds of weapons clashing within the thick dust and sand till the sound of a wind dust grenade going off which cleared the battlegrounds revealing both Jade and Sun still fighting.

Jade then used his semblance to grab one of Sun's clones before throwing it at another clone that was about to strike Jade. Sun also joined in with his clones till Jade dropped an ice grenade on where he was before jumping away. The grenade exploded and coated the area in which Sun was approaching in ice and caused him to slip right into Jade's kick. Sun yelled in surprise and pain as he flew a distance away. (Just imagine senator Armstrong's kick of Raiden)

The crowds could be heard cheering for Jade as he walked towards Sun who was on the ground and groaning in pain with his aura near the red.

"Sun… I really enjoy our fight but… I think it is time you yield. After all, you are outmatched despite you getting me a couple of times." Jade smiled as he walked towards the Sun unaware of what's to come.

"Now."

*BANG! *

Screams of shock and horror came from the crowds as Jade collapsed to his knees with a hole on his chest, All while having a shocked expression on his face.

Andddd Authors cut.

Oh boy a cliff-hanger… Uh sorry? I guess? Though this is not the end yet, we still have a fall to make it through first.

First of all, Why I skipped the JNPR and SSSN fight. If I were to write it out, this chapter would be way longer with filler that I felt that it was unnecessary so I did not add it. So, I did an alternative by including Jade's overall reaction to both fights and other tip bits like Jade and Raphael having a time together about the irony of Neptune as a whole.

Next is Jade restraining both Qrow and Winter. I just know that some people would probably complain about how a person like Jade could restraint a Veteran Huntsman and a Specialist. Well then, As I hopefully had stated in the chapter itself. Both of them were too busy fighting each other to notice that Jade was approaching that or that they were going to be restrained by him suddenly.

Ok… Next is why Winter is initially surprised by Jade apologising. This was because Winter was also informed about Jades… Past actions against Altas so as to see him so polite was surprising to her. (you can also blame the general for not telling her about it.)

Next is the little detail I added for both Ironwood and Winter flinching when Jade revealed that Penny was a robot. It was clear that Ironwood was trying his best to keep Penny's origins a secret, so I thought it would make sense for them to be caught off guard when Jade mentions Penny's end at Pyrrha from his vision. (Aka Raphael)

Next is Blake and Jade enjoying the festival overall. I wanted to add more interactions between the both of them as well as my guess on what games could potentially be available at the festival. I hope this is a good example of what it could be with all the holographic tech stuff.

And then we have Jade getting assassinated (Dun dun dun!). Let's be honest, in a world that has aura, there would likely be aura piercing projectiles which I guess would be illegal? But at the same time, the series had shown that sometimes, all you need is a really sharp weapon and a good momentum to go through aura. (Looking at ya Adam…)
