Hey guys! It's been a while yes? Anyways I'd like to address that there will be a bit of time skip here and more probably in the future, not a long one of course but it will pop once in a while. Besides that. But yea, both Blake and Jade will stay till both will move towards Haven (Probably). Till then Jade will also be getting a new weapon soon. What is it? We shall see in time.

Another thing I'm relatively surprised by the amount of support I got when I did RWBY reacts to StarCraft 2. It got more favs and follows compared to this story when it starts out. With that the case. I planned to pump out a RWBY react chapter soonish. If you haven't checked it out, I would like to request you do it and give your support for it.

Also, 80 Favourites and 84 Followers! Thanks guys for the continuous support so far! This means a whole lot to a guy who do this because he can. Can we see if we can make it reach 90 Favourites and Followers? I want to see if this story can reach close to 100.

Chapter 25

Under and over the weather

A week has passed since that night that both Blake and Jade had met Ilia and 'convinced' her to help them out. A whole lot had occurred since that fateful night. Blake showed her dad the data about Adam's plan to kill Sienna Khan and his plan to destroy Haven. Just like he sort of did to Beacon. At the same time, Ghira had been putting Jade through more trials in combat and assisting him in running the village? Weird. What plans does he have for him?

As of yet, Jade could be seen laying on the rooftops of the Belladonna mansion, staring into the night. Thinking to himself about his time in Remnant. He had been here for years already but…

How was his family doing without him? He can't help himself but wonder if he would ever see them again. Just one last time to be together with them. That's all he would ask.

To say one last goodbye to them.

To assure them that he would be fine out here.

And that he had friends and loved ones he could rely on in this new world he called home.

But the truth is that. Even if that was the case, he wished to see them again. No matter how impossible it sounds. He would find a way to see his own family again. Not to leave his friends and the love of his life behind. But to finally bury the hatchet and be at peace with himself. All the good times and bad times he had with his family. He could only wonder…

Jade's thoughts were interrupted when he heard someone calling him.

"Jade?" Jade turned to see Blake walking towards him, though how she got up here compared to him was a mystery.

"Blake? How did you get up here?"

Blake just smirked as she gave her reply. "I have my ways."

"Of course you do. What other secrets are you holding from me?" Jade then cheekily asked back as Blake's cheeks turned slightly red.

"Nothing." Blake said as she quickly looked away.

"I thought so." Jade smiled as he patted on the roof tiles beside him and it did not take long for Blake to know what Jade wanted as she then sat next to him and stared off into the stars.

"What were you doing up here? Dad is going to make a press conference tomorrow and both of us need rest." Blake then asked as she placed her hand on Jade's hand.

"...Thinking to myself. About my past and how… I never get to say goodbye to all of them." Jade responded after a period of silence.

"Your family... I suppose it still hurts you right?" Blake answered.

"Yea… Even though I just got my memories back months ago. I still wonder, can I even see them for one last time. That's all I ask."

"You did tell me that magic does exist, right? If that's the case, there should be a way right?" Blake tried to give Jade hope.

"Yea… but the only magic wielders in this world are Ozpin, Salem and the maidens. One of them even serves Salem. Even then, Ozpin is losing his magical strength every time he reincarnates into a new host so I doubt he would be helpful."

"Cinder…" Blake could only growl at the thought of the woman who nearly took her Jade away from her.

"But till then, we should go now. We got a speech to attend tomorrow." Jade said as he stood up and balanced himself on the rooftop in which both he and Blake are at.

"Jade what are you-" Blake then asked as Jade gave her a kiss on the lips before giving a smile as he said back.

"Tag. Your it."

Jade winked as he slid down the rooftop, Blake in the meanwhile snapped out of it and chased after her boyfriend as both of them laughed as they jumped off the roof and ran into the mansion.

The next day...

Ghira was wearing glasses as paces back and forth looking at a piece of paper in hands, while his wife Kali, his daughter Blake, and Jade Grayson all waited for him to be ready. Ghira then stops pacing and takes one last look at the speech he has written down, before sighing as his wife places a reassuring hand on his shoulder.

"Are you ready?" Kali asked her husband as she assured him.

"Yes. It won't be easy for the people to hear, but the truth often isn't. I know they'll do the right thing."

"I can't help but wonder if it would work, would Ilia interrupt this speech like she did before? I can't help but think about it." Jade thought to himself as he saw Blake then come up and place a hand on her father's arm and give an affectionate snuggle to her dad.

Jade could only smile as he remembered the good old days in which his parents gave him hugs.

"I wish you the best of luck Mr Belladonna." Jade said as the three give a brief look at him before smiling back. Ghira then opens the doors as his family and Jade step out of the home to greet the crowd gathering outside. Some people in the crowd are wearing press badges and holding scrolls up to record the event. Others in attendance include Corsac and Fennec Albain, who are bowing their heads, as well as Saber Rodentia and other Menagerie Guards. Ghira steps up to the podium and raises his hand to quiet the crowd down.

Jade also spots Ilia among the crowds as he watches her with curiosity on what she would do.

"Thank you all for assembling here. I wanted to take time to address some of the rumours that have been circulating around our island. I believe that it is important for the people of this territory to understand the truth. No matter how you feel about the human race, I think we can all agree that the event now known as the Fall of Beacon was a tragedy. A tragedy that will set both man and Faunus-kind back. While the main aggressor is still unknown, we do have official confirmation that Adam Taurus…" Ghira gave a pause as he glared at the Albain brothers before continuing on.

"... the leader of a powerful splinter group working inside the White Fang, was partially responsible for these attacks. His actions not only tarnished the reputation of an organization originally created to bring peace and equality to all, but to our entire race. With each day that this man remains unpunished, it becomes increasingly difficult to condemn those that look down upon us."

The crowd starts murmuring among themselves. Ghira raises his hand again to quiet the crowd down.

"Recently, My own daughter, Blake, and her boyfriend had managed to obtain some disturbing information about Adam's plans." Ghira took out his daughter's scroll from his coat before speaking again.

"With this, we have been able to ascertain that Adam Taurus has plans to overthrow the current leader of the White Fang, Sienna Khan, and take over the reins himself."

At this, the crowd starts to loudly murmur in concern.

"His radical plans do not stop there, the documents on this scroll proclaim his next target to be Haven Academy and its attached CCT Tower. Their plan is to strike on the last full moon before the beginning of the Fall semester, roughly two months from today. I have sent my swiftest messenger to the government of Mistral, but I believe we have a greater responsibility. My relationship with the White Fang has been... an interesting one. Years ago, I led the organization to help try and create a world where I, and every Faunus who wished, could walk alongside the human race. And while I believe we made great strides toward this goal, it was made clear to me that the people both in and out of the White Fang wanted faster results."

"Faster does not always mean better… Sometimes, it is best to take it slow and not rock the boat too much." Jade thought to himself as Ghira continued.

"So I stepped down, and Sienna Khan was appointed as my successor. It's true that I do not fully condone many of her methods. What I do condone is what Sienna fights for: the idea that the Faunus and humans are, and should be, equal. Adam Taurus does not seem to have that goal in mind. What he has done benefits no one but himself. I think it's time that the Faunus showed the world that we are equals! Time that we snuff out this splinter group, and restore the White Fang to what it once was!"

The crowd begins to cheer at this remark.

"To do this, I think the answer is clear, we must go to Haven and protect it at all costs!"

At this, the crowd suddenly stops cheering, showing some hesitance. Ghira sees this and clears his throat.

"Before we proceed any further, I'd like to invite my daughter to come and share her story. Not only as a former member of the White Fang but also as a survivor of the Fall of Beacon."

Blake steps up to the podium and faces her father.

"You can do this." Ghira reassured his daughter as Jade walked up and placed his hand on Blake's shoulder before nodding at her and stepping back.

It was then in which Blake began to explain her story to the crowd, much to her (and Jade's) initial surprise that Ilia did not interrupt but instead listened to her as she spoke to everyone. She told everyone her time in the White Fang, why she left them. She then told them all of her new life in Beacon where she met friends that she would cherish and found love. Blake then mentioned her friendship with Weiss Schnee and as expected, it earned some protest among the crowds and some calling her for why is she friends with a Schnee who's family had used them as disposable workers. Though Blake defended her friend and explained that Weiss knows that what her company is doing is not right and that she plans to take over the company and set everything right as it should be before her father took over.

Needless to say, the crowd were surprised by this fact. None of them expected a Schnee to know of the crimes her company had done to their people and her plans to change the company. Needless to say, many among the crowds were unsure whether it was worth it or not. But some still don't trust Blake's words. They had lost too much from them.

Knowing that the people needed a push to convince all of them to support Ghira's plan to help protect Haven from Adam. Oh and unintentionally to get team RWBY reunited in the process. Jade decides to ask Ghira.

"Mr Belladonna. Permission to give a talk of my own."

"Hm… very well." Ghira approved of Jade's permission after Kali nodded at him to allow Jade to speak.

Jade then walked up to beside Blake and took a deep breath as Blake looked confused as to why he was up on the podium.

"Jade? Why are you here?" Blake asked.

"Your dad had given me permission to give my own speech."

"Really?"

"Trust me." Jade said as Blake nodded back before addressing the crowd.

"Before we end this press conference. Jade, my boyfriend was also a survivor of the Fall of Beacon and he wishes to say something to all of you" Blake said as she held Jade's hand.

"Ok… here we go…" Jade mumbled himself before addressing the crowd who were looking at him. Some with curiosity and others with confusion why someone not part of the Belladonna family is giving a speech as well.

"My name is Jade Grayson. Some of you may have heard me and others who had not, but that is not important to what I had to say to all of you. There's one thing I know that matters now. All it takes for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing, I believe all of you are good men and women. As of yet. I have no doubt that all of us seek equality with humanity, it is just that some of us wish for it faster and thus resort to violence to achieve it. Their goals are admirable, however." Jade gave a pause before continuing on.

"Their way is not the right path and neither is sitting by and watching as those who seek to destroy our chance of equality. To achieve it, we need to show the rest of the world that we are worthy of equality and to do that, we need to show all of them that we are not the monsters they claim that we are!" Jade's voice became louder and more confident as he let go of Blake's hand and stepped forward. All while the cheers could be heard.

"Adam's path to destroy Haven would ruin the relationship between Humanity and Faunus kind alike and would forever put in humanity's eyes that we are monsters! That we should remain oppressed under their rule all because Adam's thirst for human blood is endless! He does not care about achieving rights for all of us! He only cares about spilling more human blood that would ruin all of us and we have to stop before it can happen in the first place! Saving Haven would be the first step in showing the world that we are worthy of rights! That we, as a people are not monsters as they claim we are, but we are the same as humanity! Are all of you willing to stand with me even though it may put your lives at risk at the chance to see our kind achieve what we all yearned all these years? Are you willing to follow me and your chieftain to Haven? So I ask all of you! WHO! WILL! STAND! WITH! ME!"

Jade finished his speech as he held his fist into the air as all faunus alike let out cheers as many could be heard among them wishing to come along to protect Haven. Though as expected, Corsac and Fennec Albain had left. Most likely to inform Adam of what is happening except Ilia who just stood there.

Not protesting the idea.

Not leaving to report.

Just standing there and watching as the crowds continue to voice their support.

Jade smiled as he stepped off the podium as Blake pulled him into a hug as Ghira gave a smile of his own before walking forward and addressing the crowds of faunus who were cheering at Jade's speech.

"Quite a speech you pulled off there huh?" Blake said as Jade looked red in the face from embarrassment of what he had done.

"To be fair, I just felt that it was necessary to say it to get the people on our side. And I need to get it off my chest. But please, it wasn't that much Blake." Jade tried to shake it off.

"I would say otherwise." Kali stepped in with a genuine smile on her face.

"You expressed the traits of a leader, Charisma Jade. I can see why Ghira was insistent on testing you this much." Kali said as Jade's face continued to redden in embarrassment.

"I know right mum!" Blake agreed with her mom before continuing on. "When we arrived at Menagerie, Jade gave an inspiring speech to me when both of us were on our way to our home. It makes him sound like a leader." Blake added fuel to the fire as both women began to smile as Jade who had an incredibly nervous look on his face as he thought to himself.

"Now that I think about it, does Ghira plan to make me his successor when I marry Blake in the future? It does explain the amount of trials he gave to me. And him requesting my help to run the village. I must be getting on his good side for him to trust me this much..."

"Ok… Imma just go now…" Jade muttered as he started to shuffle away only for Blake to grab his arm.

"Where are you going?" Blake asked.

"Well… the speech is done and we have a two months to prepare to move onto Haven so… I want to practice my semblance and see what else I can do with it."

Blake hummed a bit before nodding her head. "Ok then. But I want to come along, it has been a while since we spent some time alone."

"Then let your parents handle the crowds. Come lets go." Jade says as Blake informed her parents at where they were going.

Much later…

The faunus couple had found an empty field away from the crowds and actually not that far from Blake's home. It was there in which Jade was thinking to himself.

"With my semblance evolved due to my soul merger… I think I should try some new ideas… hmm… how about seeing if I can fly." Jade thought to himself as he unconsciously rubbed his chin.

"Jade, what do you plan to test out first?" Blake asked as both of them stopped walking and looked at each other.

"Well with my semblance evolved when my soul merged together, the first thing I want to see if I can do is to create wings to fly."

"Wings? Like some bird Faunus who had wings and could fly?"

"Right on the dot Blake now stands back." Jade confirmed Blake as he ordered her back.

Jade then closed his eyes as he imagined avian wings on his back. Blake watched as his metallic ribbons could be seen protruding his back and formed the base structures of the wings. It did not take long as those same metallic ribbons extended out and formed into metallic black feathers that cover the base of the wings. When the transformation was done. Each wing span around 1.5 meters long that could in theory, act as protection if required.

Jade then opened his eye and took the time to marvel at his semblance created wings as he flapped them around to get used to it.

"This is so cool..." Jade says with awe as he plucked one of the metallic feathers from his wings before observing it. Blake as well was in awe at what she saw. In a way, Jade looks like a bird faunus but with cat ears.

"Well then time to see if it works." Jade said as the feather in which he plucked out began to dissolve into thin air. At the same time he crouched as his wings extended out. In a second he jumped as he flapped his wings as what he thinks it should work.

Two things happened as soon as Jade took off.

One, it works and Jade now can fly.

And two, He has no idea how to fly and immediately crashed into a tree.

Jade could only slide down the tree as Blake could be heard in the background laughing at what she saw. She should have felt bad at not helping Jade or laughing at him but the fact that even the semblance made wings twitched like actual wings as he slid down the tree is hilarious to her.

"Ow…" Jade moaned as he got up to face Blake who was still laughing at what had just happened. Jade instead of getting embarrassed or mad at her, he chose instead to laugh along as he got back to his feet.

An hour passed as Jade constantly trying (and failing) to fly without crashing into the ground until finally, he did it.

"YEAAAA! WOOOOO!" Jade let out a yell of absolute joy in his voice as he flew in the air and was able to see the whole of Kuo Kuana. It looked amazing and he could see the villagers working, though they look like ants to him. He then could hear Blake calling him (thanks god for enhanced hearing) from below. Jade then zipped down close to Blake before hovering above the ground in front of her as his wing kept him just above ground.

"This is amazing Blake! You should have seen what it was like up there!" Jade said with excitement as Blake could only smile at her boyfriend's success.

"I could only imagine what it looks like." Blake says back.

"Hang on. Gah! Why did I not do it in the first place! I'm such an idiot!" Jade then realised what he could have done as he gave himself a face palm before flying back up much to Blake's surprise.

A while later, Jade came back down with his scroll in his hand and passed it to his girlfriend. "Here this is what it looks like while I was up there I recorded the whole thing for you."

Blake could only smile at how Jade is so enthusiastic about exploring the possibilities of his evolved semblance. "Thank you Jade."

As Blake was viewing what Jade had recorded, he was thinking to himself on what they would now have to worry next. While the speech had convinced the people to assist in the defence of Haven ahead of time. There was the worry of the attack on the Belladonna's mansion and the planned ambush of Blake. No doubt that Adam would ask for his death, (Not like he technically died already…) though he can't help but wonder if they are going to do it earlier because of the people mobilising to defend Haven.

"Jade?" Blake called Jade out.

"Hmm? Sorry, I was thinking to myself about something." Jade said as he snapped out of it and turned his attention to Blake who passed his scroll back to him.

"I have to agree, it looks amazing up there. So what's next are you going to do? We still have an hour before we have to go back.

"Well… I was thinking of trying to copy the projectile attacks that Nevermores do." Jade said as Blake tilted her head in curiosity.

"That sounds... interesting. Let's see how it goes out then." Blake said as Jade nodded before walking to the nearest tree and marking it with a cross with Last Word.

"This poor tree here will be my target Blake, by the way I advise you to take cover. Just in case. I don't wish to hurt you as well." Jade said as he prepares to take off again.

It wasn't long till Jade was in the air again and then he spun around as he flung a volley of metallic black feathers at the targeted tree from his wings. The volley of feathers flew towards the poor tree marked and many of them landed on it. Covering the tree with metallic feathers that slowly begin to disintegrate and disappear.

"Wow. That works well." Blake said as Jade landed next to her."

"Yea, it works, but the question is how actually useful it is in a fight. I won't invest in it if it does not even kill the target in the first place. We need Grimm to test it further." Jade said while folding his arm.

"That is true…" Blake hummed as Jade started to cough.

*Cough* *Cough* *Cough* Jade covered his mouth as he started coughing.

"Are you alright?" Blake asked worriedly as Jade groaned and sniffed.

"Yea I am- *Cough* *Cough* *Cough* Jade tried to assure Blake only to again cough.

"I think it is best to go home now and get you checked." Blake said as Jade nodded in agreement. She could only suspect that Jade may have caught the flu somehow. Come to think about it, this is the first time since their relationship started that Jade ever fell ill.

Back at home...

Blake was proven correct when they were near the mansion that Jade complained about migraines and also he started to develop a fever while still coughing. It wasn't long till Jade was laying on the sofa with a blanket covering him as Kali sat on a chair and attended to him, with a towel on his forehead with a thermometer in his mouth.

"How long would I be sick?" Jade asked his future mother-in-law as he was thinking to himself.

"Now that I think about it, I never fell ill after my reincarnation, so technically, this is my first time ill in Remnant. So what the hell happened that I fall sick all of a sudden?!" Jade complained in his head as Kali took the thermometer from Jade's mouth.

"Hmm… I do not know. I'll get the doctor. She owes me a favour." Kali said as she took the thermometer from Jade's mouth to check his temperature before getting on her feet and walked off to go get a doctor. At the same time, Blake walked in and sat on a chair next to Jade.

"Did mom say anything about it?" Blake asked with worry.

"Your mother went to get the doctor. Guess I'll be like this for a couple of days. *Cough* *Cough* *Cough*" Jade said before he descended into a coughing fit as Blake passed him some water to drink.

Jade gulped down some water before resting on the pillow as he faced his girlfriend who most likely would have to take care of him for a couple of days. Come to think about it, why did he fall sick? Could it be stress? Maybe. He had so many plans in his head and no doubt that his speech today would push Adam to initiate the assassination attempt on the Belladonnas earlier over fears of the people of Menagerie coming to Haven's defences earlier than expected. That thought only made him worried and it shows in his face.

"Jade, is something wrong?" Blake asked when she noticed her boyfriend's worried expression as if something bad is going to happen. Must be something in the future that concerns him.

"Yea. If I'm correct, in the original timeline, six weeks from now, the Fang would launch an assassination attempt on your parents and them luring you into an ambush to capture you. But, I fear that my speech earlier might have caused them to speed up their attempt to execute their plot and most likely, we probably have only a couple of days till the assassination attempt and your attempted kidnapping begin."

"I see… Should I tell mom and dad about it?"

"I am not sure… try asking Ilia. She should have details on what is going on inside the White Fang. If she did not respond, I guess you can tell them to get more guards. Just to be safe." Jade told Blake about what they could do. At this point, his actions are making himself concerned and stressed out about what could happen in the future.

"I guess this could work. I'll message her tonight."

"Yea… that sounds good. I'm going to get some rest. Hopefully by tomorrow I am back on my feet." Jade said as his eyes began to droop. At the same time, Blake could only take his hand and rub it to sooth Jade as he fell asleep. Jade funnily enough, gave a cat smile that Blake could only squeal internally at how it makes Jade look cuter despite the scar on his face and the eyepatch covering his none-existent left eye. At the same time he started to softly purr as well.

It wasn't long till Kali came back with a doctor to see Blake watching over Jade who was sleeping soundly. She was happy to see such a close relationship between the young couple. It reminded her when she was younger and her times with Ghira. When both of them formed the White Fang to pursue racial equality among their people. Now in front of her she sees the potential in both of them bringing a new future for their people. Whether they are aware or not. It does not matter for now.

After Jade had his medical check-up. The doctor can indeed confirm that Jade was tensed and stressed out. As a result of that, the doctor had given him some medication for his flu. The doctor then explained that the stress he had has weakened his health and needed rest. That means no training or test for Ghira. Not like Jade is going to complain about it. Of course this gets Kali curious on why Jade was stressed all about, Jade had to explain to Kali that no doubt Adam had spies in here and they would have to step in to stop them from assisting Haven. So he concludes that they may be attacked soon in the next month or so.

Kali noted Jade's point and left to inform Ghira of what could happen as Blake still sat on a chair next to Jade.

"Blake?" Jade called his girlfriend.

"Yea Jade?" Blake responded back.

"Can we have our talk about what you did uh, weeks ago?" Jade said as his cheeks reddened slightly.

"What do yo- oh." Blake, for a second was confused as to what Jade meant until she remembered that weeks ago, she was having her erotic dream while sleeping with Jade. As expected, her cheeks also begin to burn.

"Yea, that… I promised myself that we would have a talk about it. Now that your mom went off to inform your dad, I see it as the time to address."

"But why now?" Blake could only ask as she rubbed Jade's cat ears earning a purr in response.

"Well… I think it is necessary to get it out of the way. After all, ever since that day… and it has been bothering me ever since." Jade admitted as he sat up while his face was red.

"I can see what you mean…"

"Yea…"

…

…

"Guess you are having sexual frustrations right? Or is it just your heat kicking in?" Jade then asked after a period of silence as both couples could not look at each other in the eye.

"Yea…"

"I had to admit… ever since that day. I started to have uh… thoughts about uh, you." Jade had to admit to himself. Blake's vol 4-5 outfit is quite alluring to him and after that fateful day, it is getting incredibly difficult for Jade to stop his urges of his own.

Blake is no different though. His body does not leave much to her imagination and all that adult literature (Smut lol) is only making her wish to do it with him. Must be the hormones kicking in.

"Really?"

"Yea… those books we read must be getting into our heads right?"

"Uh huh."

"Oh will the both of you just do it already! I gave you that box for a reason!" Kali's voice could be heard in the next room as both Blake's and Jade's face turned redder than Ruby's cloak.

"MOM!" "NOT NOW MISS BELLADONNA!" Both could only yell at Kali who had started to laugh again in the background. It does not help that technically both of them are in the legal age to do it. It was then in which Jade descended again into a coughing fit which Blake help to stop it.

"Ugh… how does your mom somehow keep getting involved in our private lives?" Jade muttered as he lay down on the couch.

"I have no idea. Get some rest Jade. You need to recover." Blake said as she rubbed Jade's hand to comfort him.

"*Yawn* Yea… that sounds good. Goodnight." Jade said as he began to fall asleep.

Though Jade did not sleep immediately. He still remembers when he celebrated Blake's birthday while on the ship to Menagerie. It was a small one but still an important one to him. His birthday was coming up in a couple of months and this time would be his official first birthday here now that he thinks about it. Before he regained his past memories, He never bothered with them in the first place. Money and survival were all that counts at the time. But now? He could only wonder how his birthday would be like in this world.

Come to think about it Blake's birthday is on January 19th. That makes her a Capricorn in his own world. And Jade's own birthday is on the 28th April, which is funny that his birthday never changed at all. And that would make him a Taurus. Would these two horoscopes go well together? But so far, it seemed fine.

Though the migraine is making his head hurt. Maybe he should actually sleep now. Yea, that sounds like a good idea.

First of all is Jade's thoughts on how long he had been in Remnant. Jade was really close to his past family so he just can't help himself but wonder how they are doing so far. Then they talk about magic and whether it is possible for Jade to see his family one last time. This one's self-explanatory (I hope) As we know. The only magic users left in Remnant are Ozpin, Salem and the maidens I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Next is the speech. With Ilia now in a way working with Blake and Jade, She did not interrupt Blake's speech attempt. I admit I wanted to write my own version but I had done so many drafts for it that I gave up and put a simplistic version of what she had said. Then we have Jade's own speech of the Faunus populous. While Jade had never done a speech before, he sees it as necessary to push his fellow faunus to help and defend Haven from Adam and Cinder. (though all of them don't know about it except for Blake and Jade)

Next is Jade experimenting with his semblance that had evolved. Now his semblance as seen in the past allows him to create tools or prosthetic limbs. Jade now wishes to find applications for it in combat besides the tendrils that he usually used. Is it OP? Probably but who am I to say that the brothers made him that way to defeat Salem? Only time will tell. So yea, now he can fly. (this will be used in the future. How? We shall see.)

And then we have Jade falling sick. We never saw any of the RWBY characters ever fall sick at all. So I think of why not to introduce it. As why did Jade fall sick? Stress. That's all. The stress of what's to come in the future and plans he made to counter them are all piling up on Jade even if he is unaware of it. So his body could not handle the stress building up inside himself.

For those who are wondering about Faunus' heat talk, I made it different in a way it incorporates both traits of human and animal sexual stuff. In short, Faunuses in my story are able to release their urges anytime of the year like humans. But when they enter into a heat cycle. Their urge to release it is higher until it wears off (Usually in a couple of days). In short there will be a period of time in which faunus would have stronger urges compared to normal. Though stronger willed Faunus can resist the urge.

And I am done with this chapter. When is the next I will be working on? My second story dude to so many people who probably wished to see it updated so yea.
