Hey guys RGQC here, and we are back with another Chapter of A Shattered Soul. This time it would be an omake for ya all now. This Omake would have some parts of it canon to my story and others that are not. It would be up to you to decide on what is canon in this chapter. But who am I to decide what's canon or not. Where's the fun in that. Anyways this is a future omake of Jade.

This omake will be shorter compared to my other chapters but yea, just a heads up for ya and let's move on to the comments if we had any. Which we don't.

Omake 3

Leader of a new kingdom

There are many things in life that people may dream a chance to do. Some wish for a chance to have a new life and start over. Others are inclined to be thrown into a new world by some god to start a new adventure. And others wished to make the best in whatever they do in life. Some say it is a blessing to be reincarnated into a new world to begin anew with your memories intact. Others say that it is a curse that no one can understand what you came from and that you are alone in the new world. More so than Jade Grayson, who had experienced a lot in his time in Remnant.

It took 4 years ever since his soul reunited but he finally did what was claimed to be the impossible. The world temporarily united to end Salem's threat. In the end, Salem was granted a final death and the brother gods agreed to leave Remnant to its own devices, while also leaving Jade alone with his new life. The Grimm, now without Salem controlling them, became easier to manage but still a constant threat that Huntsmans and Huntresses are still needed to deal with.

But we are getting distracted. With the war against Salem finally over, Ozma was given a choice to finally be granted a peaceful end or stick around to maintain the balance of the new era of Remnant with his host Oscar. He chose the latter. With Oscar's permission of course.

Jade on the other hand? He returned to Menagerie with Blake and finally tied the knot with her. And Ghira during that time? He and Kali stepped down from leading Menagerie and passed the rulership to Jade and Blake. Much to everyone's surprise. Though Ghira and Kali, at Jade's request, agreed to help teach him and Blake on how to be proper rulers of Menagerie.

As of now, it was three years after Jade had gotten married and taken over as chieftain and was now 23 years old and was standing at the balcony of his newly built office room in which much administrative work would take place. He was staring out onto Kuo Kuana which now instead of having huts, it has many shop houses and proper housing and its size was also larger than before. Many Faunus now have a much higher standard of living and can be seen walking around. The dirt streets were replaced to have black roads for vehicles to drive on, trees lined alongside concrete paths for people to walk on. Heck, even a water pass for aquatic Faunus. In short, Kuo Kuana, within a span of a couple of years of progress and a bit of cheating using the Staff of Creation (before passing it back to Ozma to keep it somewhere), is no longer an impoverished village.

But a prospering town.

But as of now, he was wearing a hybridization of his usual clothing and a suit with the necklace he had gotten himself all those years ago, his long hair had been shortened considerably as he now also sports a stubble beard, he also had a mechanical hand to replace his stump after the fall all those years ago. He also has a cybernetic eye that glows green as well. All this as he was due to a meeting with an old friend. Though he is now called Jade Belladonna. He chose to adopt the Belladonna name as he has no need of his old surname much to everyone's surprise when he got married to Blake. It is a new era for Remnant. And so shall he start anew. And casting off his surname was the first step.

Jade gazed out to his project of making Menagerie into a beacon of progress and a place in which everyone is treated equally and fairly. But such ideas take time to root and there are already people opposed to his rule already. Several remnants of radical White Fang members oppose the new White Fang's plans to promote racial equality and refuse to recognize Jade as the legitimate ruler and seek to undermine him. Other Faunuses who have lost much to humanity are also against Jade's plan to promote equality. In fact, some of them even hold a number of seats in parliament that Jade had set up to have their voices heard.

And that they did.

They gave speeches criticizing their chieftain on how his idealism of equality between their people and humanity is not worth it and that they should only worry about themselves. Some of them recommended more… militaristic outlook of things. Others who supported Jade counter argue with them and that if they were to get rights, they need to show humanity that they are deserving of it. Some even pointed out that by being more militaristic, they would make the kingdoms paint them as a threat. All while Jade sits there listening to everything.

But one thing that Jade knows for sure before his chieftainship. World politics is not fair at all. There are times in which he asked for the council of the four kingdoms for recognition and financial support to develop Menagerie into a hub of progress. However, the councilman from Atlas and Vacuo have rejected the idea and even laughed at his face. While Vale and Mistral are sympathetic to Jade's cause. They can't due to political and financial pressure they are going through. So Menagerie was alone. But Jade would not accept it.

Now lying down at least.

If he can't change the views of the kingdom's leaders. He will change the minds of its people to support him and they will do the rest.

Hearts and Minds. The quote that Jade remembered from his past life. Get the kingdom's people on his side, and they would pressure them to help him out. It is dirty and he dislikes using it but it needs to be done for his vision to succeed.

It was then in which a knock on the office door snapped Jade out of his daze of thinking about life.

"Come in." Jade said as he walked back to his office chair and sat down.

It is in which the door opened to reveal a certain chameleon Faunus. Illa had changed much during that day that she and him met for the first time. She is now much taller than before and also has uh… grown larger assets. She is also wearing a suit as she walks in and bowed to Jade.

"Jade it is good to see you again." she smiled as Jade.

"Likewise Illa." Jade said as he smiled back and stood up to shake her hand.

Ilia Amitola, once a member of the White Fang, now Spymaster and leader of the MIA. (Menageriean Intelligence Agency.) and a close friend of Jade. She is under his orders of spreading pro-Faunus and equality propaganda in all 4 Kingdoms and also acting as his eyes and ears in all the four kingdoms.

"I have come here to report that the cells in Altas and Mantle are now ready for orders." Illa said as both of them sat on the couch opposite of each other.

"Good. For now, remain silent, observe, and gather data. I prefer not having our cells spotted at all in Atlas. As for Mantle… see if you can recruit some followers there. We need data and the locals are our best bet." Jade said as he rubbed his chin.

"Understand, I will inform them now." Illa said as he stood up but Jade raised his hand to stop her.

"Illa, it has been years since you came back to Menagerie. Have you at least checked on Blake?" Jade asked as Illa at least looked embarrassed about it.

"No I have not sir." Ilia said sheepishly.

Jade however just smiled at her before standing up and spoke cordially. "Well then, how about you follow me and pay Blake a visit. It is near lunch anyways." Jade suggested as he stood up.

"Are you sure Jade?"

"Yes, I am sure. Will you come with me?"

"Of course I accept your offer." Illa said as both of them left the office.

As Jade and Illa walked through the streets with Menageriean guards following them, many Faunus could be seen doing their own thing. Some are selling goods made here. While others sell food that were caught. Though the people of Menagerie living standards have improved massively, it could be better. Several Faunuses noticed their chieftain and gave way while bowing or thanking him for what he had done for them in just three years.

It wasn't long till both of them reached the Belladonna mansion as Jade stepped forward and knocked on it. It did not take long to reveal Blake. She had also changed much since that day he met her. Her hair was cut short that mirrors her Vol 7 haircut, and also wears a slightly more traditional clothing that has her outfit as well. Though she still has the necklace that Jade bought for her all those years ago.

"Honey I'm back." Jade smiled as Blake gave a returning smile in return and pulled him into a hug.

"And I'm glad you are back. Lunch is almost ready."

"Yea also I brought a friend along." Jade said as Illa stepped forward to greet her friend.

"Hello Blake. It's been a while."

"Illa! It's good to see you again." Blake said as she broke off from Jade to give her long-time friend a hug.

"I can say the same."

Jade then coughs to gather his wife's and friend's attention. "As much as I like to let you ladies have your chat, I brought Illa along so that she can join us for lunch. After all, what better way to catch up by having lunch together." Jade said as Illa nodded in agreement.

"Well come in then. Lily misses her daddy." Blake said as she walked back in much to Illa's confusion.

"Lily?" Illa asked in confusion.

"Oh yeah right. I forgot to tell you that now Blake and I had a daughter called Lily. But we kept her away from sight for a while until we thought it was safe enough to announce her to the world." Jade said as he began to walk into the mansion.

"Come on." Jade says as it snapped Illa out of her confusion as she followed Jade into the mansion.

It wasn't long till all of them were having a meal with Ghira and Kali who looked much the same. Lily Belladonna could be seen on the baby chair next to Blake who sat beside her. She had Blake's looks but she also has Jade's eyes and has small cat ears on her head.

It was then that Lily could be seen as she stretched her baby arms out for Jade making baby noises as Jade could only smile and pick her up.

"And how's my little flower doing now?" Jade could only ask as he then brought her into a hug as Lily hugged him back and started to purr in his arms.

Jade then remembered the time when Blake brought the news that she was pregnant with his child. At first, he was surprised then ecstatic that he was finally going to have a child. Kali and Ghira were also informed about Blake's pregnancy and wholeheartedly supported it. Especially Kali was finally happy that she is getting grandchildren at last after so many teasing and also accidentally walking onto them while they were making love.

"She really misses you." Blake could only say as she began to eat her lunch.

"I won't blame her. I was away from home most of the time running Menagerie." Jade said as he sat down to eat as Lily clung onto Jade.

All of them enjoyed their meals in the meantime as Blake and Jade introduced Illa to their daughter who only giggled and grabbed Ilia's finger. And then during their meal, Lily tried to reach for the fish on the table but due to her being small, she couldn't reach it and gave a baby pout as everyone giggled at her attempt all while Blake fed her baby food.

It wasn't long till Lunch was done and Ilia needed to go off and give Jade's orders to the cells in Altas and Mantle. As for why she did not contact them directly? It is safer and would reduce the chance of them being caught from Atlas. Even though it was controlled by Winter who was friendly with him and Blake.

It wasn't long till Jade had some time with his lovely wife and daughter and plans to finally introduce Lily to team RW_Y and JNPR. Though, it has been years since they had remained in contact with them. All due to Menagerie lacking a CCTs when Jade took over and it took time and money (which he borrowed from Weiss and his own savings) to build Menagerie's first CCTs. Even when it was done. Jade was too busy doing his plans for Menagerie and Blake was also helping him out at home to contact them.

It wasn't long till they both finally decided to call on their friends in one big group chat.

First was their own team. Ruby, Weiss and Yang's symbols appear on screen before their faces appear on screen. Ruby's hair had grown much longer and now extends down to her shoulders. Weiss still had her signature hairstyle and Yang still has her long uncut hair.

"Hey guys!" Jade said as he and Blake waved at their teammates.

"Jade! Blake!" Ruby called out as she cheerfully waved at them.

"Jade. Blake, it is good to see both of you again." Weiss said as he bowed on screen to the both of them.

"Hey Jade, hey Blake, good to see both of you again after years, what happened?"

"Yes it has been years." Blake said as Jaune's and Ren's symbol appeared on screen before their faces appeared on screen as well.

"Hey guys." Jaune said as Pyrrha was next to him who gave her greetings.

"Hello!"

"Hey Guys! Did you guys miss us?!" Nora yelled out as Ren was beside her as he smiled at his friends

"Good to see you all again." Jade said as those that just joined in nodded back at him.

"Yea the last time we met was for your marriage kitty cat." Yang said with amusement as she made a whole lot of princess and cat puns when she found out that her partner was actually royalty.

"Yea… Menagerie did not have CCTs so we had to build one, and also both of us were dealing with the workload of leading an entire village that is going to become a kingdom probably in the next few decades." Jade admitted sheepishly.

It was then that there were baby noises coming from Jade's side much to everyone's confusion as Blake stood up to attend to that noise.

"What was that?" Ruby then asked as everyone looked confused at what they heard.

"Well... during that time we were busy, we had a daughter." Jade said as Blake walked back in with Lily in her arms.

"Damn… you kitty cats got busy while we were gone eh?" Yang says as the couple could blush about it. Yang at one point. Spied on the feline couple making love. As the result of that, the next few days she would not stop teasing the hell out of the couple. When Nora heard about it, she also joined into the fun as well much to their embarrassment.

While it was going on, Lily could only make baby noises as the others cooed at how Lily looks like a baby version of Blake with Jade's eyes. (well uh eye… do cybernetic eye count?)

The couple could only smile at what's going on. Feels like old times the day after Salem was officially defeated. They all celebrated that tremendous victory and partied on that day alone. Oh yea, some of them got drunk. Especially the Faunus couple as Yang purposely spiked their drink and they end out having a make out session in front of everyone, which they have to be separated before it descends to all out love making.

Let's just say, both of them were really displeased with what Yang has done to both of them. Even worse that Yang recorded it in front of literally everyone invited and showed it to Blake's parents when she and Jade got married.

The talk ended after a couple of hours of everyone sharing their stories and genuinely had a good time talking with each other again after years of not interacting with each other. It was then in which everyone said their goodbyes and that Pyrrha and Jaune are finally going to get married and planned to invite all of them to it. Just like how Blake invited everyone to her marriage. The call ended as Lily slept on Blakes chest as both of them could hear someone knocking on the door.

Jade stood up to and walked towards the main door to open and see an older Saber personally there.

"Ah Saber, is there something you need of me?" Jade asked as Saber gave a serious look that worried Jade.

"Chieftain. A portal of sorts has appeared not far from Kou Kuana." Saber said as Jade could only give an expression of shock and confusion.

"What?!"

And we are done for now. What do you guys overall think of this chapter? I'm curious what you all think of it and yea…

A whole lot of info I have left vague on purpose. As this is way in the far future and anything could in theory happen during that time. So yea some parts will be canon and others will not be canon. I write this for fun anyways. (and because I had spare time to spend.)
