Danny Fenton: The Chaotic Adventure

(Author's Notes: Hey everyone! How are you all doing? Surprised to see another chapter up so soon? Heh, well my birthday is on March 8th and I decided to give myself a little early present like so here. A new chapter for all of you to enjoy!
Before I do anything else, I want to give praise and glory to the Lord. Jesus, thank you for being with me, my family, my friends and to those all around the world that need you. And God… I miss my Dad very much. Everything… everything just has lost their luster or vibrancy since he is no longer with us in the flesh and blood. It will take a long time for me and my family to get things back on track… but at least I know and believe that my father is in Heaven with you, looking after us from above. I find some comfort in that. So Jesus, thank you for all the time that my Dad spent with us & I ask that you look after him well.
And also Jesus, please look after my family and my friends. The ones here on this site as well. Please guard them, guide them and aid them.
I still hope and pray to see the end of the very thing that took my father, and many others as well all over the world. I hope and pray to see the complete end of the Coronavirus, that it is wiped off the face of the earth for good! And along with it, this New Normal/Do The Five Thing rules and regulations junk. I wish to see the end of masks, distancing of any kind, plastic walls/barriers, contactless services, isolation, excessive sanitation, virtual/online substitutions… and most of all, I wish to see the end of fear/paranoia/doubt/hesitation/laziness/green/subpar standards!
In this chapter, the ones that stayed in the living room while Danny and the others went to check out what the robot workers found, they learn some interesting facts from Master Roshi and the other DB party members. In addition, Bulma will offer her aid in many ways that will benefit the group immensely.
And also, I wish to address something that was pointed out by Author gonzo22, an honest and spot-on reviewer to my story here. First, I have honestly not seen ALL of the Danny Phantom episodes and did not know that he had used his ghost powers to sneak a peek into the Girl's Locker Room at his school. But I put a bit of my own character into Danny here, so while he will really appreciate the fine female form… there is that thin but potent fine line in which never to cross.
Also, he will not be a Gary Stu or 'too perfect'. He will show his flaws and such that define his character… but he will GROW. All of them, including Vicky and Cree, will grow. I am focused on character development here, as in the rest of the stories I have been making. And while Bulma may teasingly flirt with Danny, her heart belongs to Yamcha for the time being since we are in the original Dragonball series.
Things will not be forced here, as the ladies are just starting to feel something towards Danny but they have no idea what it is exactly. It is budding, growing like a plant. Slow but sure as the chapters progress onward. It won't be instantly, and more often than not, Danny will have to prove himself to many of them. Both in his mortal and spirit alter-ego.
But he will be a gentleman here, as I believe it is even rare nowadays in the real world & in stories for them to exist. In addition, I ask that he and also others trust me as I know what I am doing in this endeavor. Well… mostly know what I am doing, but I am getting there.
And if I did not state this earlier in any of my previous chapters, I will state it now. Danny will learn how to get stronger and better in his human form first. I believe in this particular theory concerning him, and honestly I do not believe much of the theories and such concerning spirits as it was shown in the cannon series. Here is my theory:
Danny gains much strength and power when he turns into his ghost form, Phantom. And he seemingly evolves after a short period of time, such as learning that he has an Ice element & also learning to do the Ghostly Wail much earlier than his future alternate evil self Dan Phantom.
I believe it is due to his own mortal self. I believe that his Phantom form is just his own spirit/soul/heart/mind given flesh form. That it is unlocked when he transforms. So what would happen if Danny trains in the ways of Dragonball, but in his true form which is his mortal form? To learn how to become strong, both in body and in spirit when NOT in Phantom form.
So if Danny is strong in his Phantom form in the cannon series… imagine how potent he will be if his true, mortal self undergoes training like Goku did here in my story?
I believe that Danny, his true self, can unlock his full true potential like so in the DB universe. Same with the ladies & the rest of the DB crew as well, both minor and main characters. This is what I believe in, and want to do. To show true character growth and development for all of the characters here!
And in the words of a famous country song that I like, "That's my story and I'm sticking to it!".
There will be NO slash or femme-slash actions or stuff like that in any my stories, this crossover included.
When Danny and the ladies arrive, it is at the very early stages of the Piccolo Jr. Saga, at the exact moment when Shen Long was revived and granted the wish of bringing those that were killed by Demon King Piccolo and his minions back to life. And with a three-year gap before the next tournament, it would give Danny and his date's ample time to explore the new reality/world they are in & to collect the Dragon Balls.
Danny Phantom is a cartoon series that was created by Butch Hartman, developed by Steve Marmel. The series aired on April 2004, the network that released it was Nickelodeon. The production companies were Billionford Inc. and Nickelodeon Animation Studios, with the distributors being Viacom International Inc. and Nelvana. Look for my Danny Phantom series and specials when getting the chance, if you please. This takes place after the episode De-Stabilized, but before Phantom Planet. And also, said last episode will NOT be featured here.
DragonBall is a manga/anime series that was written by Akira Toriyama, published by Shueisha Inc. with North America published by Viz Media. The manga was created in December 1984, ending in June 1995 with forty-two volumes. The anime was directed by Minoru Okazaki & Daisuke Nisho, produced by Tokizō Tsuchiya/Kenji Shimizu/Jun'ichi Ishikawa. Studio was Toei Animation, licensed by Funimation Entertainment for North America. Original network that broadcasted it was Fuji TV, with multiple English networks such as Cartoon Network Toonami and Funimation Channel. It ran from February 1986 to April 1989.
I was going to use lyrics for the Intro and Outro, but Flower princess11 did not approve so I removed them. She requested it, so I complied. Also, the pictures I am using to see the compound is from the Dragonball Fandom website. And also, I am asking for anyone who is creative with their hands in making pictures and such to make pictures that depict my crossover here.
If you wish, use your imagination and put in any kind of song/music intro from any anime series with the Intro and Outro here. And also, so no one is confused, this is DragonBall & not DragonBall Z.
Now, on with the story!)

{The screen shows the starry atmosphere of space, with the planet Jupiter shown in the upper right corner of the screen. It looks peaceful for the moment… than a white-blue comet of sort streaked past it and towards the screen before seemingly going through it! It was soon followed by multiple other white-blue comets!
The screen changed to show the multiple glowing celestial objects streaking past the Asteroid Belt, Mars and the Moon. Music picked up as the planet Earth came into view in all her glory, the comets streaking towards it as they entered the atmosphere! The image of the DP logo appeared above the planet, and down below appeared words in white letters against the inky black space underneath Earth. The logo changed to show the capital D and P letters splitting apart slightly to show the name DANNY PHANTOM, and below the planet were the white words AND THE CHAOTIC ADVENTURE.
The scene goes from space to the Earth, in a clear field where the blue-white comets land. They do not smash into the ground, but rather hover over the ground and shortly pop like bubbles. Emerging first for all to see is Danny Fenton, who looks around confused until he turns behind him to see the other comets that soon burst forth.
The camera goes to showcase intensely but briefly the women that also traveled with Danny:
Kimberly Ann Possible, Alexandra Casoy, Gwen Tennyson, Emma Mackenzie, Diana Lombard, Sabrina Spellman, Kara Kent, Jenny Wakeman, Cree Lincoln, Violet Parr, Jen Masterson, the floating ghoul Phantasma, Vicky the babysitter, Wendy Corduroy, Debbie Thornberry, April O'Neal, gothic girl Gwen Honorine, Angelica Pickles, Kitty Pryde, Makoto Kino a.k.a. Lita for English name, Katie Kaboom, Penny Proud, Ginger Foutley, Spectra Vondergeist, Winx Club fairy Musa, Felicia Hardy, Daria Morgendorffer, Barbara Gordon, Cleo Sertori and Starfire.
After the last girl's face is shown, the camera shows to see Danny confused as he looks to them. A bright flash occurs, and he looks upward. The camera soon shows an aerial shot of him directly in the middle of it, the girls coming to his position and getting close to said teen as they all look upward with him towards the camera.
The camera than shows the sky where white comet was streak through the air, zooming in to show it was the Four-Star Dragonball! It stays with it until said orb disappears over the horizon. The camera than showcases Danny and the others looking up at where the ball went, than a scroll appearing in front of him. He takes it and unfurls it to show the message that was given to him and the ladies. The camera shows the message as it pans down until it showcases these words that shine with golden light- ONLY THE WISH FROM THE ETERNAL DRAGON SHEN LONG WILL SEND BACK
The scene than shows Danny Fenton leading the group, Kim and Musa by his side with Starfire and Gwen Tennyson behind him on the left & right respectively. The others follow in an arrowhead-like formation. They soon stop, seeing a cliff and the camera showing that the entourage was now gazing at the mega metropolis known as West City!
The camera than leaves the group, going to showcase the front entrance of the domed building that has the words Capsule Corp. etched in it. And zooms in to show that standing in front of said entrance/exit way was Bulma Briefs with Oolong the shape-shifting pig on her left, Puar the shape-shifting flying cat on her right. Both smile and wave to the audience.
The scene does some brief but interesting cut-scenes that show Danny and the other women talking to them inside the building around a table, Bulma seeing the message, followed by her talking to them as she is most likely explaining the Dragon Balls & who Shen Long is & the clip ends with her giving Danny the famous Dragon Radar as she points out how to use it.
The camera shows Danny given a large trunk which contains Dyno Capsules of various sizes, color and numbers, courtesy of Bulma who says it's on the house. She also gives a blue capsule that is marked with a capital black B, which are the blueprints for said item that she gives to Barbara Gordon. The scene than shows the group leaving the area…
And the camera shows clips of the group running away from a large unusual-looking, jungle-green T-Rex & a silver Western-European dragon! The scene shows the girls like Cree, Vicky, Debbie, Gwen Honorine, Angelica and Penny running from them! It than shows a clip of Danny being carried by Jenny in the air along with Musa, Spectra and Phantasma looking at a nest that has three red baby Pteranodons in it… and Kitty popping out from underneath it with an egg that soon hatches to showcase another baby red Pteranodon.
The scene changes to showcase a clear field, the sky darkening with an immense column of golden light that writhes like a serpent. The camera shows Danny with the girls, Daria and Cleo by his side with Ginger behind him. All of them, and the girls who are shown nearby, looking upward in awe at the light. The camera changes to show in full the golden light changing… the light flashing out to reveal in all his green-scaled might, the Eternal Dragon known as Shen Long!
The scene changes yet again, this time to show Danny Fenton changing into Danny Phantom. The camera shows him flying over the road, with the ocean in the background and a hover car that is similar to the car that Ox King gave to Goku and the others long ago. In the car driving at the wheel was Kim Possible, shotgun was Alexandra & in the back seat was Emma and Katie Kaboom. Riding behind them were several motorbikes that had the following riders- Sabrina, Vicky, Violet, Wendy, April, Felicia and Kitty!
The camera pointed to the sea to show Cleo in her mermaid form as she jumped out of the ocean. Following close in is a Capsule Corp. submarine/aircraft combo that holds Daria, Barbara, Diana and Cree! The camera changes to showcase Danny… and who is above him! Flying above was Kara Kent in her superheroine outfit, Musa in her Winx persona, Phantasma, Spectra, Starfire, Gwen Tennyson in her alien form… and Penny Proud & Makoto flying atop a yellow Nimbus Cloud together!
The camera showed clips of Danny and the others going into various places for adventure & to learn and grow. It shows clips of the group searching in the sea, with Danny in scuba gear on & swimming with Cleo with the submarine/aircraft combo following them. It soon shows a clip of Danny with Makoto, Katie and Felicia as they are in another city as they are taking in the sights of it. And shows a clip of Danny in his Phantom form with Sabrina on her broom, Kim in a jet pack & Kara in her superheroine persona as they fly around & have some good fun.
The camera than showed appeared to be flying through mountains, than over a vast desert that seemed to stretch for miles! It than stopped and showcased familiar settings. It showed Fortune-Teller Baba's Palace, with said pink-haired fortune teller floating on her ball with her pink ghost assistant by her side as they grinned at the camera & audience. The camera stayed on them for a moment before shifting to a scene that showed Turtle Island where it showed Master Roshi, his Turtle companion & Launch in her blue-haired form as they waved and smiled to the audience.
The camera than changed to show Korin's Tower, and at the base of it was Tien Shinhan, his friend Chiaotzu, the former desert bandit Yamcha & finally Goku's best friend Krillin! They all stop their martial arts training to look at the audience before smiling and waving hello. The camera shifts and changes to the entrance of the place that holds the World Martial Arts Tournament… and coming into view for all to see were the previous contestants like Nam, Bacterian, Ran-Fan, Giran and Pamput. Also coming into view was the permanent fixture of the tournament, the Announcer himself! All wave to the audience before doing their signature poses.
The camera changed to show a dark-yellow nebula backdrop with many shadowy figures that range in size and shape, most likely featuring the many enemies that Danny and his dates would meet in the future. One of them stood out from the rest, in front of the shadow shapes with its features more outlined. It was a tall being in a turban and cape with pointed shoulder guards, his shoes also pointed & looking tall and imposing.
The camera than transitioned quickly to show the many characters that were linked to the ladies, indicating it was their friends & family members back home. It showed the forms and faces of characters like Mr. & Mrs. Fenton, Tucker Foley, Dani Fenton/Phantom, Batman, Robin, Superman, Mr. & Mrs. Possible, Ron Stoppable, Clawdeen Wolf, Draculaura, Frankie Stein, Martin Mystery with Java the Caveman, M.O.M., Dipper and Mabel Pines, Max & Ben Tennyson and Kevin Eleven, Professor Charles Xavier & Wolverine, Mr. & Mrs. Proud with Sugar Mama, and more!
The scene changes to showcase case to a large mesa that is high above the ground… and near the center of the immense chunk of earth is Danny Phantom Goku still in his child form! Behind him was Kami the Guardian of the Earth & his assistant Mr. Popo. Behind the halfa hero was his entourage, the women looking on as something was about to happen. Goku and Danny were smirking… than charging at one another as this was a sparring match of sort! The camera showed a clip of Goku getting hit by a green ecto-blast, than switching fast to show Goku hitting Danny hard over the head with his Power Pole!
The scene soon changed again, this time showing Danny Fenton flying on the Nimbus Cloud with a Dragonball in his hand! The young man looked relieved, and was soon joined by the other women as they were in a large aircraft that was big enough to hold them all comfortably!
The camera gets a close up of Danny as he holds the Four-Star Dragonball. Than the camera goes into the aircraft to show the ladies and what they carried; first was Kim Possible holding the One-Star Ball, Starfire lifting up for all to see the Two-Star Ball, Penny Proud holding up in her left hand the Three-Star Ball, Gwen Tennyson cradling in her hands the Five-Star Ball, Katie Kaboom smiling and holding high in victory the Six-Star Ball & finally Alex holding high the Seven-Star Ball!
The scene changes to show all are on land now, the seven spheres gathered together and glowing… and the form of Shen Long emerging once more! The Eternal Dragon roared loudly as he was summoned, and the camera showed Danny underneath the visage of the dragon with the women on both sides. The entire group than did their signature poses as the music ended, an excellent pan shot of everyone underneath the roaring form of Shen Long!}

While the others were looking at the surprises they found down below, Master Roshi and the others were with the remaining ladies in the living room. After a bit of uncomfortable silenced had passed by between them, Katie was the one to break the ice as she looked to Launch and said, "Excuse me, Miss Launch. But, I had a question that I asked before those robots showed up. You said something about your 'other self' and I wanted to know what you meant by that.".
The dark-blue haired woman had a puzzled look on her face, than she remembered what Katie asked earlier. She answered with a smile, "Oh! I remember now. Well, you see the thing is that I have a bit of a… condition. When I sneeze, I change into a completely different person.".
This bit of information got the beings from another universe very much surprised. Sabrina inquired, "Wait! You mean like you change into a completely different person like on the inside, the outside or both?". She had seen, and done, her fair share of magic spells that completely changed a person but it all depended. Sometimes the change was cosmetic, strictly with physical appearances like a change of hair color and sort.
And other times, the change was a complete change in personality and actions.
Master Roshi answered, "It's a little bit of both, young lady. You see, when Launch here sneezes, she changes both inside and out. Her turns a blonde color, her eyes go from black to green & her facial features change as well. And she transforms as well inside. Her personality goes from sweet and loving to… well…".
He didn't know how else to put it, so Oolong did it for him. He finished, "She becomes a gun-toting, violent-loving crazy chick! That's what she becomes!". He had been on the receiving end of Blonde-Launch's automatic rifles, so it was little wonder that he put it as bluntly as possible.
The ladies looked to Launch, who just smiled sweetly and nodded her head. She added in, "Yup! There were times that my other self robbed banks and such, and it got so bad they kinda put a bounty on me. And when I sneeze again, I turn back to my real self. I don't have much recollection of what my other self does, though.".
Again, this was a bit to digest for the women. They had met some unusual things in their lives, but this was now easily in the top ten list of bizarre things. Katie now believed that Launch was like her, different in certain aspect yes, but very much like her own… condition. She planned to talk to her when they had some time alone, and also she planned to tell the others on her condition once she trusted them more.
Phantasma cackled, "Hahahahahahahaha! Oh, now that is cool to know! Hahahahahaha! You would be a riot at my school!".
Puar inquired, "School? You go to school? What is it like?".
The floating cackling ghoul answered, "Hahahahaha! Oh, it's called Miss Grimwood's Finishing School for Ghouls! It's a boarding school for ghouls like me! She teaches me and the other ghouls who are daughters of famous monsters!". Already, all of them were imagining what the school was like & also the girls that attended it. Needless to say, many of the imaginations ran quite wild.
Daria asked in her usual tone, "Wow, now that is interesting, learning that monsters can actually have kids and send them to school. So tell us, which one are you related to and who else is at the school?".
Phantasma answered with a large smile on, "Oh, my dad is the Phantom! You know, the very first Phantom! And my friends at the school are Sibella- daughter of Dracula, Elsa Franketeen who is daughter to the Frankenstein monster, Winnie the werewolf and I bet you can tell who her father is & finally Tannis who is the daughter of the Mummy! Hahahahahaha!".
Diana thought, 'Wow, now THAT is some seriously good information! I never even knew that such a school existed, let alone that the most famous movie monsters of all time had kids! I better write this down later on so that I can take the information back to MOM and The Center when I get back home.'.
Cree stated, "Wow… someone with a split personality that literally changes with a sneeze, and now learning that monsters do exist & that they have daughters to send them off to a boarding school… the family and friends back home just ain't never going to believe this!".
Angelica put in, "You got that right. My cousins and friends are going to think I flipped if I told them this, and most likely try to send me to the nuthouse.".
Gwen Tennyson looked to Puar and asked, "By the way Puar, how is it that you were able to change like you did back at the sparring session?". She already knew the answer, but wanted official confirmation.
The small blue floating cat answered, "Oh, that was just my shapeshifting magic power. I learned that at the Shapeshifting Academy, also known as the Southern Transformation Kindergarten.".
The young ladies had surprised looks on their faces and Cleo asked, "Wait! A shapeshifting school for kindergarteners? Really?".
Puar smiled proudly as she replied, "Yup! Myself and the other kids there learned how to shapeshift there and soon graduated. Oolong also went to class there, but he often bullied me there. And soon he got kicked out.".
Alex asked, "Why was he kicked out?".
The shapeshifting friend of Yamcha answered, "He got expelled because he was caught trying to get the teacher's panties.". The green-wearing pig was soon subjected to some intense glares from the ladies, making him yelp in fear and soon rushed behind the chair he was sitting in, peeking out while shivering slightly from the cold glares sent his way.
Puar continued "He can shapeshift, but since he got kicked out, he's only limited for about five minutes. After that, he changes back and needs to rest for a minute before he can shapeshift again. And even if he changes to something large, his basic strength stays the same. Plus, he can't always get a shape right the first time, so sometimes he has to try multiple times before getting a form right.".
Wendy sent a glare to Oolong and stated with a cold tone, "You try anything messed up with us, it's going to be bacon for breakfast.". She emphasized the threat by punching her left fist in her right palm, and the others also agreed with her on that as well. So now, let it be known that Oolong would have to tread lightly with the young women from another universe.
Seeing the need to break the tension and also shift gears, Kim looked to Master Roshi and asked, "Excuse me sir, but something has been puzzling me for a bit. It's what Tien did during our match, would you know anything on what he did? You did say that you trained in the martial arts, so…".
Master Roshi smiled and chuckled a little before replying, "Ah, you were wondering about that move he used. Well, it was an Afterimage technique, young lady. One of the more advanced martial arts moves used.".
Musa raised an eyebrow and inquired, "Afterimage? What is that exactly?".
The old turtle hermit cleared his throat as he prepared himself to go in Master-mode. He answered, "The Afterimage technique is basically using extreme speed to leave an image of yourself. The user uses extraordinary speed to leave an image of himself in the air, which it looks like a mirage after it is executed. It is mostly used as a technique to confuse the opponent, but it can be taken further with much training and creativity. It was first used in the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament when Krillin went up against Jackie Chun.".
Vicky scoffed and stated, "Ha! So it requires super speed to move! Doesn't sound like much.".
Master Roshi's voice became stern as he remarked, "Hold it there, young lady. It's not as simple as it sounds. The speed I am talking about when executing the Afterimage is something that goes beyond the human limit. And even if you do have the speed, it requires great focus, stamina, endurance, concentration and reflexes to do it properly. Although to be honest, it seemed that it came naturally for Goku when he used it in the tournament after seeing it only once.".
Batgirl turned to him and asked, "Huh? You mean Goku was able to do it only after seeing it once?".
The elderly martial arts master nodded as his tone returned to normal and answered, "Hmmm-hmm. Indeed, Goku saw Jackie Chun use it and somehow managed to get it one try. He used it against his opponent Nam, even though he saw through it. And he used it against Jackie during the Finals. And in the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament, Jackie used it on Tien but upgraded it to the Afterimage Strike.".
The ladies all got interested in the story that Master Roshi was telling them, and it showed on their faces. Starfire asked, "Umm, excuse me Mr… I mean, Master Roshi. But what is that attack?".
He smiled at her and answered, "The Afterimage Strike is when one moves so fast that they create multiple images of themselves, usually so much that the attack in uninterrupted. Jackie circled Tien, creating six images of himself that moved at amazing speed and also came in to strike with punches. It was like he was being attacked by six beings all at once from all sides. However, he managed to see through it and find him with his three eyes.".
April whistled and said, "Now that is something I would like to see for myself! That sounds like a very useful technique!".
Master Roshi nodded and put forth, "It is a useful move indeed. Goku was able to take it further when he went into the Finals against Tien. He was able to use it in the air, creating copies that actually LOOKED solid at first glance so you couldn't even tell which was real or not. However, Tien was able to spot the real Goku and attacked. But he used the technique again on him to avoid the blow, but he was deceived by Tien when he used it against him. But somehow, Goku got behind him with the technique.".
Cree stated, "Whoa! Now that is what I would like to see! I just wish I could do some of that, as it would have been helpful against some… ah, certain foes back in my world.". She had a feeling that if she stated that she would want to use martial arts techniques against kids, it would put her in a bad light. For now, she could not have it that way.
Makoto asked, "Master Roshi, I have a question. Tell me, what exactly is this World Martial Arts Tournament? Tien and Krillin told Kim and Cree here about that during their sparring match, and from the way you kept talking about, this tournament is something worldwide and very important. So… what exactly IS it?". Indeed, the others were wondering about that, especially Miss Possible & Miss Lincoln.
The ancient master of martial arts thought on it for a moment, than stated, "Well, the World Martial Arts Tournament, also known as the Tenkaichi Budōkai, is where many fighters from all manner of life & fighting come to compete. It started long ago as a festival at a temple on Papaya Island, and it has been going on ever since then.".
He continued on, "The tournament was held every five years on that island. Many fighters, be they human or not, came to compete for the title of World's Martial Arts Champion and the money that came with it. The prize money for going all the way to the top is 500,000 zeni, so you can imagine that many came in to compete for both the title and also the prize money.".
Vicky whistled and stated, "Now that is my kind of prize! I would be more than willing to enter that kind of tournament!".
Master Roshi looked at her and remarked, "Well, it is a bit more complicated than just putting your name down to enter, young lady.".
Ginger asked, "What do you mean by that, sir?".
He smiled at her and answered, "Well young lady, first it's the number of participants. Anyone who has had experience in fighting, from street fighters to martial art practioners, come to the tournament in droves. Due to the number of participants, the tournament is divided into two parts; the Preliminary or Elimination rounds & the actual tournament itself. Only eight people can officially participate in the tournament, so thus the Preliminary rounds.".
Master Roshi pushed on, "The Preliminary rounds consist of the signed up fighters picking a number at random and put into brackets that are in eight blocks. Audience members are not allowed in to see, and the fighters go on several platforms that are like mini-versions of the actual tournament stage arena. The have a one-minute time limit to defeat their opponents, and if it ends with no winner, it is decided by points. Also, the rules of the tournament is spoken by a representative of the committee before the Preliminaries start.".
Cleo inquired, "What are these rules, Master Roshi?". She was getting very much interested in this tournament, as was everyone else in the room that was from another universe.
He answered, "Well, the rules I know are this. That no body armor of any kind is allowed, no weapons either… though claws and teeth can be used if only they are natural. If any of your body parts touch anything outside of the ring, do not rise up after the count of ten by the Commentator, or if you are knocked out causes you to be eliminated from the tournament. Poking in the eye or being hit underneath the belt is not allowed, though the latter could be overlooked if it is accidental. And normally, a double-count out results in a draw. But if it is in the Finals, a special rule is put into place. The winner is declared when one of the Finalist stands to both feet and state this for all to hear- 'I am the Champion'.".
The ladies were surprised to hear that, as it was a new spin on any Sudden Death rule or match they had seen back in their world. Diana said, "Wow… now that is unusual, even for me! And I have seen a lot of unusual stuff.".
Master Roshi chuckled and remarked, "Maybe so, but that's how it is. The rule was activated when Jackie Chun and Goku knocked the other out for the ten count, but the Commentator called out the new rule so it became a race to see who could stand up and declare those words. Goku almost won, but he fainted before he could finish his sentence. Jackie Chun won when he did finish his.".
Than his tone got serious as he stated, "But the most important rule is this… that killing your opponent is strictly forbidden. Anyone who does so, in either the Preliminaries or in the tournament itself, is disqualified from the tournament immediately.".
The explanation of the rules really intrigued the young women, although Vicky was disappointed immensely that no weapons were allowed in the tournament. She believed she could have gone all the way if she used the regular weapons she employed during her babysitting duties back in Dimmsdale.
Gwen looked to be in thought, the young Tennyson lady soon looking to the shell-wearing old man and asked, "Master Roshi, you said that the tournament used to take place every five years. Did something change?".
He nodded and answered, "Yes, it did. And I have to say, you actually listen like my pupils do. Now, the tournament changed after the 21st one. Due to its mushrooming popularity and growing number of participants, it changed to a more frequent schedule which is now every three years."
Spectra thought of something, the ghoulish beauty floating down to be in front of Master Roshi and asked, "Umm, darling. I have a question to ask you. Did Goku win his match against Tien in the 22nd tournament? And also, were you upset when neither Goku or Krillin won the 21st tournament?".
Master Roshi chuckled and answered, "In order young lady, Goku lost to Tien. Like against Jackie Chun, it was by a tiny margin. And no, honestly I wasn't upset at all that neither of them won in it. In fact, I was glad that they did lose.".
This surprised the young ladies for sure, even Puar, Oolong and Launch as they looked to the turtle hermit. Puar asked, "Master Roshi, why would you be glad that they lost?".
The elderly man answered with a smile, "Well, let me explain something very clearly. When my students entered the tournament, I was worried that if they won the whole thing on their first try, they would become arrogant and most likely stop training as they would have the mentality that they didn't need to improve themselves anymore. A tournament that gives the winner a title like being the 'World's Best' is a dangerous trap for anyone, especially youngsters like them.".
He continued, "But when I saw them lose, they took it well and also gained much experience from it. I knew that with some humility, they would train themselves harder than ever. It's the mentality that there will always be someone better than them that drives them to improve, not just in their martial arts skills but also with themselves.".
The ladies were once more surprised by the words that Master Roshi stated, especially Kim, Makoto, Cree and Alexandra. All four knew of their capabilities, what they could do… and now, what held them back from improving themselves in certain aspects was their pride. Makoto had some experience in the martial arts of karate, but the self-discipline and improvement drive had all but vanished when becoming a Sailor Scout. She started to rely more on magic than her training, thus starting to fall into a pattern of compliance instead of self-improvement.
It was the same for Alex. She had done significant training of her self and skills, thanks to both practice in various sport fields & also from Jerry's agency W.O.O.H.P. She had good fighting skills, but she remembered the times where her training had proved insufficient & was often captured by the enemy. Sure, they had gadgets and such to get herself and her friends Clover & Samantha out of tight jams… but afterwards, her training would only increase a little or not at all. That she would not improve any of the areas that needed to be improved, that she would continue on as is without thinking about it much.
April and Starfire, however, knew what Master Roshi was talking about. The redheaded alien beauty knew what it meant to improve and train, as she had trained with her Earthling friends at the Titans Tower. Though even though she admired Robin's dedication to training and such… it was in a way that made him focus on that instead of enjoying life once in a while and relaxing.
The kunoichi had improved immensely after meeting the Turtles and Master Splinter; not only improving her martial arts abilities but also herself in various areas. So she was aware on what it meant to have a mentality to never be arrogant or overconfident.
Angelica asked, "Master Roshi, what did your training methods consist of when you taught Goku and Krillin?".
He was about to answer, when the sound of approaching footsteps caught their attention. They looked up, some looking right and left respectively. Coming from the left was Jenny, and from the right was Danny. They were racing to the living room, both of them arriving at the exact same time.
Jenny exclaimed with a smile on her face, "Guys, guys! You have got to come see this! We found something that you are not going to believe!".
Danny looked to her and stated, "And Jenny, there is something you need to see as well! I think it might help you in accomplishing your dream.".
The robot beauty turned towards him, her excitement that she displayed earlier quickly morphing into confusion. The others were confused too, looking to one another with perplexion shown all over their face.
~With Tien and company~
While the others were waiting for Jenny to return, the group was going over the incredible find that had discovered. The robot maids had told the group the procedure on how to close the vaults, which was doing the opposite of what they did to open them, before leaving to fulfill their duty in cleaning up the manor.
Gwen and Emma were checking out the vault that had all of the impressive looking treasure, the gothic beauty holding a scepter that appeared to be made out of solid silver, topped with a headpiece that was in the shape of a fierce-looking Pegasus that looked to be made of platinum. She grinned and stated, "Wow! Now this is impressive! I bet just this alone would make Chris bursting with envy!". She was not wrong there, as the scepter was worth what the host would make in ten years.
Emma was wearing a tiara that was made out of gold, decorated with precisely cut precious gemstones. She giggled as she looked at herself in one of the glass casings that held many of the other jewelry that Commander Red had acquired over the years & hid most of it in his private stash. She said to herself, "I bet Lo would be so jealous to see me wearing this, looking like an actual princess!". Lo was the nickname of her friend Lauren Ridgemount, daughter of rich Mr. Ridgemount who was the owner/founder/head of Ridgemount Resorts hotel chain that ran through various places throughout the world.
Penny and Kitty were checking out the zeni bills in the second vault, looking to see that on said bills was a picture of a woman that looked to have the hairstyle of Chun-Li from the video game Street Fighter but looked to have the sultry face of Jessica Rabbit from the 1988 movie Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Penny commented, "I wonder who this woman is that managed to get her face on the highest kind of bill?".
Kitty replied, "Don't know, don't care! I mean, look at all of these stacks of bills! I guess we won't have to worry about financial issues now!".
Tien called out, "Okay ladies, just make sure you don't break or tear anything. We need Bulma here to go over all of this to see how much its worth.". While he was an excellent martial artist… handling numbers or checking the true value of items and such were not one of his strong points.
He and Chiaotzu heard footsteps, and turned to see that coming into the room was Master Roshi, Oolong, Alex and Cleo. The four were stunned when they saw the contents inside each vault, Alex and Cleo gazing at each of them before going towards the one that held the golden bars. The native of California had seen riches before due to her profession as a spy, but this was the very first she could actually touch something that looked to be what her boss would probably make in three or four years.
Cleo hefted one of the gold bars, finding it to be pretty heavy. She said softly, "Wow… this is heavy… and kinda soft and malleable… wait! That means its truly solid gold! Every single bar in here… it has to be pure gold! No other metal mixed in it to give it complete hardness!".
Alex replied, "Pure gold?! That's amazing! This entire room here… it could be worth millions, maybe even close to a billion!". She didn't know that she was off the mark… that the vault she was in contained ten-thousand billions to be more precise!
While the ladies & Oolong were looking over the find, Tien and Chiaotzu looked to Master Roshi who was standing beside them. The small, pale-skinned psychic martial artist inquired, "Master Roshi, where is everyone else? I would think that they would all come to see what we found. And where is Jenny?".
The elderly master of the fighting arts answered, "Some of them opted to stay in the living room for the time being. Launch, Puar and Jenny went with Danny. He arrived at the same time the robot girl did… and apparently, he and the others found something that might make her dream of being a real girl a reality.".
Tien had a confused look on his face as he asked, "What do you mean?".
Roshi answered, "What I mean is this. According to what I was just told, Jenny introduced herself to the others when they first arrived in this world. And she told them that she often dreamed of being a real girl, one of flesh and blood instead of a robot. And it seems that the Fenton lad and the others discovered something that might make her dream come true.".
Both martial art fighters were surprised at this revelation as this thought ran through their heads, 'What could they have discovered that could make Jenny's dream come true?'.
~With Danny and company~
Said robot girl was entering the secret lab of Dr. Gero, many things going over in her computer brain. She asked herself, 'Can it be that they really have found something that can turn me into a real girl? I mean, after that Raggedy exo-skeleton that Mom made for me, the failed dates with Don & also the craziness that occurred during Tremorton's 300th anniversary celebration, I was just content to let my dream be a dream. But… could Danny and the others really have found something to make me a real girl?'.
Joining Jenny in the trip was Puar, Launch, Starfire and Katie Kaboom. They wanted to see what the others discovered, more intrigued by it than by the riches that Miss Wakeman had told them earlier.
Upon arriving into the room, Danny directed the ladies to where the others were gathered around in the middle of the room. The women approached the group, who parted to allow them to see what they were looking at. Seeing the capsule, the four newcomers looked down… and gasped in surprise at seeing the form of Jewel Sapphire.
Katie put in, "Whoa… who is she? And… why is she in this strange bed?".
Bulma answered, "Her name is Jewel Sapphire, and this is a cryo-capsule. Its similar to the ones I made for Krillin, Chiaotzu and Master Roshi when they were killed.".
Starfire asked nervously, "Is… Is she too deceased?".
Yamcha answered, "Yes, she is. And according to what Bulma told us a little while ago, she didn't survive the process when she volunteered to be an experiment done by someone named Dr. Gero.".
Puar asked with surprise in her tone, "An experiment? What kind of experiment?".
The blue-haired beauty answered, "He was turning her into an android.".
Jenny and the others showed shock and surprise to hear this, with the daughter of Nora Wakeman exclaiming, "Turning her into an android?! But… But that's impossible! I know of cyborgs and robots that were given like sentient intelligence, like myself, but never a biological being into a machine!".
Black Cat went to her, handing her some notes in which she took. The thief remarked, "Apparently, it can be. At least according to these notes here. Take a good look at them, and you'll see what I mean.". Miss Wakeman did so, scanning the notes with her eyes while Starfire and Katie read over her shoulders.
Violet and Danny looked down at the deceased woman, still surprised that she still looked like she did now even in death. The Fenton lad said softly, "It's not right that she checked out like that, especially for something like the Red Ribbon Army.". The disguised superheroine simply nodded her head, wondering how her parents would react to seeing something like this. He looked down back at the button he pushed that caused the capsule top to open, now pushing the red one which closed the top back down.
She was still fresh in the superhero/heroine business, and had seen some weird things. But this disturbed her, if just a little.
Soon, Jenny's eyes widened as she read the calculations & formulas that were written on the pieces of paper. She whispered in awe, "I can't believe it. This… This is all… incredible…".
Starfire and Katie looked more perplexed than anything as they saw it all, the cutie from Acmeville stating, "Well, what does it all say? It looks all Greek to me.".
Jenny turned to look at the entire company and stated, "According to these calculations and formulas… it IS possible to turn a human into an android! Guys, this is… this is huge! I have known many kinds of geniuses like my Mom, Tony Stark, Hank Pym, Bruce Wayne, Lex Luthor, and more… but this guy Gero is on a different level!".
Bulma inquired, "I take it your mother and these other people are experts in the field of robotics?".
The robotic beauty looked to her and exclaimed, "Yes! They are, but this Gero character seems to be a genius in not just robotics but also biology & physiology as well! Some figures that need just a tiny bit of polishing up, but most of this is just spot on!".
Black Cat thought, 'I thought so. This Gero guy is of a genius intellect, but in line with an evil army and also in two fields that I know the others are not. Heh… I bet Horizon High would kill to him someone like Gero in their faculty ranks.'.
Kara showed to Jenny the blueprints that she had looked over & asked, "What about this? I'm in high school and good with math, but this is all complicated even to me.". When Jenny took the blueprints, handing the papers to Starfire and Katie to hold, she scanned it… and her entire body seemed to be vibrating slightly.
She spoke in awe, "This… This… This is just too amazing, even for me…".
Danny went to her and asked, "Jenny, what is it? What does it show that has you shaking like that?".
The robotic beauty looked to the Fenton lad and answered, "These blueprints… these diagrams… they are for a device that can essentially give eternal energy!".
This caused everyone in the room to look at her in a stunned state, as this was big news that even they could understand. Launch said, "Wow! Eternal energy? Does that mean it doesn't run out of power or recharge itself?".
Jenny nodded her head and explained further in detail, "If this math and calculations are correct, than yes! Guys… this is big news! Normally, things like batteries either run out of juice or need to be recharged. My own power core needs to be recharged. I know of Stark's use of arc reactor technology that uses light and sound to create clean energy. But even he stated that it was not infinite. This though… this would BE infinite! No need to recharge, no need to replace… it would theoretically run forever!".
Black Cat went over to her, glancing at the diagrams to see more. This was big news for her, bringing out the scientist with in her. After looking at the blueprint, she commented, "If this is correct, it would. But from where I could see, it's meant to be small. Any larger, and most likely it would turn into a bomb that could easily decimate three counties. That's why this Gero character designed it so that it could only be used as a power source for anything the size of a human… or in this case, android.".
Jenny looked to Danny and asked, "Danny… you said that this could make my dream of turning human come true! I have to ask… what is it that you have in mind?".
The young man looked a bit uncomfortable about his own suggestion, thinking it would violate some moral codes… but this was a chance for Jenny to have her wish come true, so he had to take the chance now. Gathering up his courage, he took a deep breath and exhaled. He looked to all of them, especially Jenny and answered, "I was thinking of this. Jewel here is deceased, no chance of coming back. Jenny, can you please give me a scan on her? And can you do it while the capsule is closed, or do you need it back open?".
Jenny nodded her head, saying that she could scan Miss Sapphire even within the capsule. Starfire came in, saying that she could do a scan with her power as well. She could use her empathetic abilities through her energy bolts, to scan if Jewel was still completely there or not. Danny gave them the go-head, the two female soon scanning the being in the capsule.
Starfire had her hands covered in her starbolt green energy, Yamcha and the other natives to the world a bit surprised that she could do that. Starfire was on the left side of the capsule pod now, Jenny on the right. Her eyes scanned the inside of Jewel, going from the very bottom of her feet to the very top of her head, slow and steady. The medical readings she got were all flat-lined in every area.
The redheaded alien beauty also tried to feel the anything from the being inside the capsule, trying to block out the other feelings she was getting from the others. But sadly… she felt nothing at all.
After a few minutes, the duo finished their scans with Starfire coming back down to the ground. Danny and the others looked to them expectantly, with Starfire putting up first, "There is nothing. No feelings or any kind of faint emotion within her.".
Jenny added, "Same here with me. My medical scans reveal nothing on any level. What we have here is a blank shell, still perfectly preserved.".
Danny put in, "Than I believe that this will truly be Jenny's chance. My idea is this… to put Jenny's brain, personality… essentially, her entire soul and spirit… into Jewel here.".
Now this had everyone's jaws drop down in shock and surprise, all eyes of disbelief locked onto Daniel's form, which made him a tiny bit uncomfortably. Katie asked, "You… want to put Jenny… into the body?".
The halfa nodded and explained, "Yes. You see, my entire idea is this. We all work on Jewel, finishing what Dr. Gero started. And when it's all done, than we can start to transfer all of Jenny into her body.". Everyone was indeed surprised on how bold the Fenton lad's plan was, especially Jenny herself.
Bulma put in, "If that's your plan Danny, than it might take a long while. I'm a genius and all, but even this would be pushing it past my limits. And…".
Black Cat put in, "Well, what if you had help?".
Everyone looked to her now, the white-haired thief now having the spotlight on her, so to speak. She continued on, "I bet that some of us in our group has some level of expertise in this kind of situation. If we all work together, I'm sure that we could do this. Sure it would most likely take some months, but at least it would increase our chance to make Jenny's dream a reality.".
Krillin asked, "Would you be willing to help?".
The professional thief answered, "Of course! Besides, I managed to get top grades at Horizon High so…". She than remembered that she said just a bit too much information, now hoping that no one would pick up on it. But unfortunately, it was Violet and Kara that knew of the school.
The potent young daughter of Bob and Helen Parr stated, "Wait! You got top grades at Horizon High?! You must be a certified genius than to be top in that place!".
Launch asked with a confused look on her face, "Ummm… what is that place? A high school of sort?".
Kara answered her, "You bet! In our world, it's one of top prestigious high school places in the world. They only accept students of genius-intellect in the categories of science, technology, engineering and math. It's more or less like a college than a high school, at least that is what I heard from commercials and brochures about it.".
Starfire looked to Black Cat and asked, "Miss Black Cat, hearing that you have the top grades there means that you are a student there or graduated from there. Does that mean Black Cat is not your real name?".
Everyone now looked to her, the thief looking rather nervous now and contemplating how to either talk her way out of there… or to flee from there. She thought, 'I don't fully trust these people yet, and unlike Danny, I like to keep my regular persona a secret! I can try to use my bad luck here on them… but who knows what will happen, and in a confined space like this, would most likely mean I would get caught in that bad luck. And after seeing cueball in action, most likely would take me down before I even knew it.'.
While Black Cat was fast in reflex speed and agility, she doubt it would keep up with the blistering speed that Krillin displayed.
Amazingly… it was Danny who came to her rescue! He stated for all to hear, "Hold on everyone, hold on. Let's respect Black Cat's privacy. She's entitled to it. And I hope when the time is right, she can trust us with her secret.".
Bulma and the others thought on it, than nodded her heads and let the matter drop… at least for now. The blue-haired beauty replied, "It's alright by me. Just as long as she can really help us out in finishing what Gero started on Jewel.".
Black Cat breathed out a small sigh of relief, soon sending a grateful smile to Danny, who returned the gesture. She thought, 'Heh, he really saved my identity there. Not bad kid, not bad at all. Maybe one day, I will show to you at least who I am under the mask and wig. But until than… just have to wait. Also, going to tell the others during some girl-talk on your reaction to seeing Jewel like so earlier. Sorry cutie, but I want to see their reaction when I tell them! Hehehehehe…'.
The daughter of Dr. Briefs and Panchy looked at the capsule for a bit and stated, "Well, if we're going to do this, then we'll need to find out which of the ladies have the skills we need to make this all work. Also, we'll need to move both Jewel here and the notes/diagrams/blueprints/schematics over to a larger area.".
Yamcha suggested, "Hey, what about one of the rooms here in the manor? Maybe it has a room large enough to suit your needs.".
Danny added in, "Yeah! Or how about using one of those hangers way in the back? We could clear it out and have everything all set.". Jenny was really moved and touched on Danny sounded, his tone saying that he was really committed to helping her achieve her dream of really becoming human.
Bulma said, "That would work. Also, we need to get some new equipment. I don't think what we have here would suffice in finishing up Jewels.". It was true, as they looked around the area to see while the lab DID look impressive, the equipment seemed to no longer be in operational order.
Krillin sighed and remarked, "That is true. This places looks to have seen better days. But, won't getting new equipment cost some serious money?".
Miss Briefs answered, "You got that right pal. And even though my father has more than enough money, I think he would think twice before getting what we need.".
Jenny realized something, soon giving off a brilliant smile as she exclaimed, "Ha! If it's an issue of money! I don't think we'll have to worry about that!". The others looked at her quizzically.
~Back at the living room~
It was now 2:00 p.m., everyone now situated back in the living room of the manor. The Maid and Plumber robots were able to finish up their work, going back on the planes & going into Standby mode.
Bulma was standing up while the others were sitting down, a look of intense focus was on her face. When all had come together, they told one another what happened & also what went down. So now, all had an idea on what was going on.
After a moment or two had passed, she looked at everyone in the room. She stated, "Okay, here is the entire deal here. First, it's a good thing that the Maid Robots found those secret vaults. And even though it's a conservative estimate on my part… I would say all of you now have an income of at least four-hundred billion zeni.".
Hearing this had the mouths of everyone drop down, and their eyes widening almost comically. To all of them, that was a LOT of money! Penny, Debbie, Angelica and especially Vicky were now salivating that they now had large supply of moolah in their pockets.
The heir of Capsule Corporation as the gleam in their eyes, sighing as now was the time to nip it in the bud. She stated firmly, "Hold on there! Before you even start thinking of a shopping spree, let me tell you this. First, none of you have a bank account here since on a technical standpoint… none of you exist. Also, it's kinda dangerous to go anywhere if you're carrying a ton of cash on hand. And while I believe most of you aren't helpless, I can imagine none of you would be able to defend yourself against certain beings here.".
Penny frowned and exclaimed, "Hey, what do you mean by that?! We can handle ourselves fine if some punk tries to mess with any of us!".
Ginger looked to her and replied, "I think she means against those anthro beings. Remember, what we saw back in the Archives building?". This made Penny pause, her mind going back to what Miss Foutley was talking about. She than remembered some of the pictures that she had seen that were soldiers in service to the Red Ribbon Army, and some were indeed half-animal/half-human. And while she could deal with completely human punks, beings who were either half-wolf or half-alligator were a different story.
Bulma saw the pensive look on Miss Proud's face, glad to see that she now realized on what she meant on not being able to handle certain beings. She pressed on, "So, first thing we have to do is to open an account. And judging by the sheer amount of money and priceless treasure that we can most likely donate to various museums, we need to open a lot of accounts.".
Katie suggested, "What about two accounts for each of us? A checking and savings account. Would that work?". Bulma did the math in her head, soon seeing that the total number of accounts would be sixty-two & dividing it all by half into each account would be at least six billion, four-hundred and fifty million… after some rounding off of the numbers was done.
The blue-haired beauty answered, "Yeah, that could work. After doing some rounding off of some numbers, it would give you all roughly at least six billion dollars in each account.". Again, this had some of the ladies very much ecstatic to be getting that kind of cash to use, especially Vicky. However, it was Danny's turn at bat here.
He spoke, "Hold on there, ladies. Hold on for a moment.".
When he had the attention of the young women, he continued on, "Even if it is a lot of money in each account, we still don't know if any of the stuff here is the same back at home. What if some of the stuff here is actually more than it was back home? And will be staying here for a year or so, so we better have some kind of budget plan before we all go crazy with the spending.".
Danny had learned many lessons back at his hometown, most of them the hard but real way. His parents once gave him a debit card that had a fixed amount of money in it, about $200. He easily spent it all in less than a week, and when the bill came… well, his parents were not pleased with his reckless spending. So they showed him what it meant to plan a budget and spend wisely.
And also was told by Maddie to never cave in to buying an excessive amount of an item, like her husband did when it came to buying stuff like fudge.
This did settle certain young women in the group, and a majority were actually impressed to see Danny knowing something concerning finances. Little by little, very slowly but surely, they started to see him as more than just a superhero.
Danny looked to Bulma and asked, "Bulma, is it possible to set up new accounts online or over the phone?".
She shook her head and answered, "No, not for this kind of transaction. We would need to go to a bank in person and make all of this happen, not to mention hiring some trusted accountants & experts in appraising the art and jewelry stuff. But I am confident that it will be worth it in the long run.".
Cree put in, "Well, do you think we can find something that this Army used? I mean, this Commander Red guy must have had legal businesses that he used for fronts to pay for all of this.".
It was Yamcha that shook his head and replied, "No, we wouldn't find anything like that. I'm betting that once this headquarters fell, any kind of business that was linked to them also went down with it.". Bulma stated that it was highly possible, that those that were associated with the Red Ribbon Army would have taken what they could and left to avoid trouble with the law.
Launch put forth, "Than that means we really are starting from scratch, right?". Bulma nodded her head at this, that indeed they were starting from the very bottom up.
Gwen Tennyson stated, "Well, at least it is something to start on. And better to think on it and act with some concrete plans up, than just going all crazy with the money. If we did, people might get suspicious and it could draw the wrong kind of attention towards us.".
Danny said, "She has a really good point. Also, I would like to use my part of the money to see if I can get the equipment needed to help Jenny out.". Earlier on, when all of them got back, he had told them on what they had found & also his plan to assist Miss Wakeman with her dream of becoming more human. Needless to say, the young women were very much surprised to hear that Danny's team had found something that impressive like an android.
More so when said young man wanted to finish what Gero had abandoned so that Jenny would have a truly working human body.
When some of them asked on why he was doing this, not to mention those like Ginger and Musa asking on the ethical/morale grounds of such a plan, Danny answered honestly, "I feel really sorry for Jewel… that she chose something like that and didn't survive. If we do this for Jenny… it will also be for her, in a way, and that her choice wasn't in vain.". In an unusual way, he was honoring the lass even though she was a total stranger.
While a few of them still did not feel good about the plan, at least they admired on how Danny was trying to honor Miss Sapphire.
Violet put in, "I saw some of the designs that Gero had intended for her. I know I may not be a tech geek or anything like that, but I did manage to make out what he intended her for. According to the plans, he wanted to use Jewels as a kind of super spy android.".
This tidbit mildly impressed everyone, Oolong speaking up, "A super spy? How do you figure that?".
The disguised Invisigirl answered, "From what I saw from the blueprints, Jewel's would have been able to change her hair to any style and color. Same with her eyes, skin tone & even a kind of modulator in her vocal chords that would allow her to speak in any kind of tone or dialect. It didn't say anything about her body size or shape, so I figured that she couldn't change anything of those.".
Tien put up, "A human version of a chameleon… I have to say, that is clever.".
Some of the ladies like Kara, Batgirl, Black Cat, Gwen, April, Kitty and Musa had run into various beings that could pull off what was in the plans & more to a certain degree. But they decided to just keep that bit of information to themselves. Still, the abilities did have merit.
Bulma stated, "It is. Again, this Gero guy was a genius. And even if we did have the right size of room and equipment to work with, it would still take months for it to be done. So I need some help in working on this. Jenny and Black Cat have volunteered to help out since they have expertise in robotics, but I need someone who knows biology and physiology. So… anyone here good in those areas?".
Debbie stood up and replied, "I'm good when it comes to biology. My parents had me study up on various biological stuff while traveling around the world, for both animal and human.". Normally, Debbie would rather do something else than anything strenuous and such. But… something compelled her to help out with the situation. Everyone was doing something useful, so she believed to do her part in something… and she believed that working on something this monumental would be very much worthwhile.
Gwen Tennyson raised her hand and added, "I know something about physiology, so I can be of help too.". Back home, she had gotten some lessons on physiology with both human & alien bodies, so her knowledge would be useful. Not to mention that perhaps some of the Plumber training she received from her grandfather Max & the organization itself would come in handy.
The blue-haired beauty smiled at seeing that she had some helpers, which was better than just her, Jenny & Black Cat working with her. She stated, "Okay, we have some help. And until everything is all set up, I can most likely help you out by modifying most of the stuff around here. It will give me something to do at least instead of sitting around at home.".
Sabrina put in, "We got a lot of stuff lying around could use some fixing up. Also, from what we gathered here, this Army has a lot of bases around the world. Think we could use them?".
Bulma grinned as she answered, "Oh yeah! If on the off-chance when the Dragonballs reappear and in a place that is extremely hard to get to, it would be good to have a base nearby. The Red Ribbon Army had one nearby when they were searching for the one that had me, Goku and Krillin go deep under the sea to find it.".
Master Roshi looked to Danny and stated, "Hahahaha! It seems that you won't be idle while you wait for the Dragonballs to appear!".
He smirked and replied, "I don't mind at all. I won't say no to some kind of relaxation, but even I don't want to be or get too lazy. Besides, once everything is settled, we can explore more of the world and get a lay of it so we can be more prepared when those magical spheres appear.".
Kim than had a thought come up into her head, looking over to Master Roshi and asking, "I think I have something! Master Roshi, you said that you trained Goku and Krillin right?".
He nodded and answered, "Yup, and also my newest addition Yamcha here. Why? What are you thinking?".
The non-superpowered heroine answered with a question of her own, "Well… what did your training consist of?".
The elderly man replied, "Well, it consisted of some daily exercising through difficult terrain and tests. Again, why are you asking me this?".
Kim smirked and answered, "Since Bulma is going to be here for a while, and also after sparring with Tien… I was thinking if maybe you all could stay here and train! And perhaps… train some of us too!".
This really stunned/surprised the group, Krillin leaping up and exclaiming, "Wait! You want all of us to stay here and train!?".
She nodded her head and explained, "Yup! Look, even though some of us can defend ourselves, I know that some of you don't have any kind of serious self-defense training. It would do good for you to get some lessons in. And also, I would like to see how they do train so I can see if I can try it out myself with them. At least, if you agree to stay here with us.".
Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, Launch, Puar, Oolong and Bulma looked to the aged martial arts master. He had his left hand strong his beard, doing some 'hmmm' sounds as he was thinking on the proposal. He soon gave his answer, "I'm sorry young lady, but the hermit's life is for me. Also, I don't know if this place has what my students need in order to get stronger and better.".
This did disappoint the group… but Bulma had a smirk on as she knew exactly how to get Master Roshi to change his mind. She just had to play on his weakness, which she knew what it was very much.
She closed her eyes as she gave spoke in a faux-disappointed tone, "Gee, that's too bad Roshi. I mean, I would be staying here the whole time. And I bet that Launch would love to stay with me too so that she could get our new friends from another universe. And also help them out.".
Everyone now looked to her, Launch especially as she looked confused and asked, "I do? I can?". Bulma merely winked at her, a sign saying for her to trust her.
Bulma continued, "I mean, it would be so hot and sweaty here after working on some of the machines here, that I would go to one of the lakes outside… decide to go for nice, swim… Launch also going for a swim to get a little bit of exercise…". She tugged a bit on her shirt, mostly the top part that showed off her impressive assets.
The young women, Danny and the others minus Roshi knew what Bulma was trying to do. And Black Cat decided to go along with it as well, since seduction methods were her expertise. She jumped in, "Yeah, me too. I would join them as well. I would also get a swimsuit myself… or perhaps… a bikini…". She did a seductive look and pose, looking towards the elderly master who now looked to be getting really excited!
He was standing up, large grin on with a bit of drool coming down the side of his mouth. He was not alone, as Oolong was doing the same thing. Danny, Tien, Yamcha and Krillin were all blushing immensely as mental images came into their heads concerning the three ladies in swimsuits… or in the case of Black Cat, a bikini! Danny was a gentleman yes, but where it concerned bikinis and swimsuits on the ladies, he was more than glad to show his appreciation for the ladies in that kind of wear.
The ladies however, were just so stunned and shocked on what Bulma and Black Cat were implying and doing. Musa thought, 'Wow! Stella could actually take lessons from those two!'. Daria was thinking the same thing concerning her sister Quinn, on how she could take a lesson in seducing guys.
Master Roshi and Oolong soon couldn't take it, the images in their heads going on overload as they soon rocketed to the wall and slamming into it via nosebleed! This stunned the group as those not familiar with certain actions were surprised by this. Starfire went down to them and inspected them, soon turning to the Black Cat & Bulma and asked, "Are they okay?! Why did they do that?".
Bulma smirked and answered, "It's something that men do when they see an attractive woman and their minds get blown away on what they are thinking. See, they're smiling so they liked it.". This perplexed the Tamerianan princess, wondering why lose precious blood fluid like so like that was good… and what was it that ran through their minds that caused said action.
Soon, Master Roshi and Oolong recovered as they leapt to their feet. The human with a turtle shell on his back exclaimed, "YAHOO! Okay than, you convinced me! I'll stay right here and train Krillin and Yamcha!".
Bulma and Black Cat smirked at this, soon high-fiving each other as the blue-haired beauty's plan worked. Though… some of the ladies were skeptical about being trained by a pervert.
Tien managed to get his bearings together and asked, "Master Roshi, mind if me and Chiaotzu trained with you as well?".
The hermit answered, "Well, that's up to you. I don't mind if you do join in, but remember that it's your choice and you must stick with it.". Tien smiled and nodded, Chiaotzu doing the same as they were all going to stay together.
Alex looked to Bulma and asked, "Wait! You said that Launch could help. How?".
Bulma answered, "For one thing, she knows how to really cook a good meal and clean as well. Also, her other self could teach you how to handle certain firearms.". Launch smiled and nodded, saying that she would be glad to help her in those areas like cooking, cleaning… and also firearms, should she sneeze and her other side emerge. It still amazed/freaked out some of the group to see that someone like Launch could do that, switch personalities and change her body with a simple sneeze.
This caused some serious thoughts to go through the group, Cleo stating, "I'm not so sure about that. I don't really imagining myself using any kind of guns.". Many of the ladies nodded, Bulma seeing that perhaps it was not a good idea for Blonde-Launch to appear and give them lessons.
She replied, "Well, if that is how you all feel, that's cool. Just so know, Blonde-Launch can be a little… aggressive when she comes out, so be sure to be prepared when she does bring out some firepower.".
Master Roshi spoke, "And before me and my students can resume training, need to see the lay of the land and what we got to work with here.".
Danny replied, "Well, we know that this place is surrounded by forests on all sides, along with some large lakes that are dotted here and there. And we did come I think… let me see… ah! We can here north, from a place that had a chain of snowy mountains.".
The elderly warrior looked to Tien and asked, "Tien, you and Chiaotzu go out and see what you can spot from the air. Miss Jenny, Miss Starfire. Mind helping them to assess the landscape and how far it goes? I want to make sure to know everything before I come up with a training program.".
The two martial artists nodded, but Emma pointed out, "But wait! What do you mean by having Tien and Chi… Chi… hold on… Chi-ao-tzu. Is that right?". She looked to said small fighter, who nodded and was glad that she managed to get it right other than the Commentator, who kept on getting his name wrong.
Miss Mackenzie looked back to Master Roshi and continued, "What I was asking is how can they spot it from the air? They can't fly, unless you meant they do it in the aircrafts they came in.".
Tien and Chiaotzu looked to Master Roshi, who merely nodded. The two fighters returned the gesture, looked to the group… and smirked when they started to levitate up into the air! This really surprised most of the newcomers who were new to the Dragonball universe.
The three-eyed martial artist answered, "We have our ways of flying without aircrafts. Heh, a technique that our former master Crane taught us. It comes really handy, once you get a grasp of it.".
Krillin and Yamcha merely smirked, the bald-headed fighter saying, "Heh, you got a point there. Maybe I should try to learn it. Would be good to keep up with Goku in the air when he's on Nimbus.". Tien told him that he would teach him how to fly when the time came, as he had the training & capability to do it. Yamcha also wanted in, saying it would be good to be able to fly as well & also have another means of transportation should his legs get hurt like before.
Tien and Chiaotzu soon levitated to the front door, looking to Starfire and Jenny to follow them. The duo shook their heads to snap back to reality, following them out and soon the four flying away to get a better lay of the land with their own eyes.
Bulma looked to the stunned guests from another universe and stated, "While they go and see the land, how about us girls go and chill out somewhere? The Maid bots said that they found an indoor swimming pool and sauna in the East area of the manor. We could hang out there until they come back.".
The ladies believed it was a good idea, one by one all of them rose up from their places and started to follow Bulma. Black Cat smirked coyly and whispered, "And girls, do I have a bit of juicy news that concerns our little Fenton friend over there.". This made some of them who were into some news, especially concerning boys, smile and begged for the details while the rest merely smiled and shook their heads as they continued walking.
Master Roshi stood up and said, "Whoo! I'm feeling a bit tired myself. I think I'll go join them in relaxing at the pool. Hehehehehe…". He gave a chuckle as he started to walk after them, Oolong chuckling as well and said that he would join him in 'relaxing'. This caused Danny and the remaining ones to sweatdrop at them as they followed the ladies… at a fair distance, of course.
Yamcha chuckled softly, than looked to Krillin and asked, "Say Krillin, how about me, Puar and you check the outside of this place out? I like to see what this base has.". The duo answered in a yes, Puar always wanting to be near her friend of course. Krillin looked to Danny and asked on what he was going to do.
The halfa answered, "I'm going to stay awhile in the living room, guys. I want to have a bit of time to myself for a moment.". The three nodded, respecting his decision as they soon left through the front door.
Once they were gone, Danny sighed and went to the chair that Katie had occupied, one in front of the fireplace. He looked up and said softly to himself, "I think I should start a journal or something, to write everything down that has happened so far. I have a feeling that staying here in this world just got a whole LOT more interesting now…".
He didn't know how right he was!

The camera shows the scene of twilight as the sun is almost completely gone over the horizon. Credits roll on by to showcase the people who made the anime series possible.
A field is displayed that has several large domed Capsule Corp. houses, arranged in a circle with one in the middle slightly smaller than the others. The scene showed Danny Fenton at the doorway to the smaller one since it was his alone. He stretched his arms and went inside his new abode to relax, not knowing of his dates who were watching him as he went inside the home.
The camera showed that the ladies were sharing a Capsule home that could easily sustain 5 people comfortably. It went as follows:

The camera showed the ladies relaxing in their new homes, doing various things. However… the camera shows each of their faces & it shows that all of them have a certain young lad on their minds. Soon, a dream sequence starts that shows each of the ladies time spent with Danny so far in the new world they are on.
And it also displays some daydreams they have where Danny chooses one of them out of everyone else.
When the sun goes out completely and the girls see its getting late, the camera shows the ladies going to their rooms to get ready for bed.
As they start to get ready, the camera shows another dream sequence that features a certain girl with Danny; Kim on the Nimbus Cloud with Danny Phantom flying beside her, Makoto and Danny fighting various bad guys together, Felicia and Danny partying at a nightclub in one of the cities they visited, Kara Kent flying through the sky with Danny Phantom, etc.
The random dream sequences end, and the camera shows the ladies soon plopping on their own beds in their own rooms.
The camera shows the young ladies soon in Dreamland, each one having a pleasant smile on as they are dreaming of the future. The camera shows more scenes of their dreams; Phantasma grinning & running away with Danny as they found one of the Dragon Balls in a land of demons, Angelica holding tightly to Danny on an air bike as they rode above the ground but not high in the air either, Wendy Corduroy and Danny putting down some strange land pirates that they had run into, Katie Kaboom on a date with Danny at a romantic carnival that showed a Ferris Wheel that lit up in lights for them K.K. & D.F., etc.
The camera changes to go back to the real world, showing in slow changing sequence the ladies that are all dreaming of the young man they have come to really know & appreciate. They all know his good and bad sides, his good characteristics and flaws that he is trying to work on… and also his dedication to watching over & being there for them.
The camera finishes on Starfire, shifting to show Danny as he lies awake in his room. He is looking up at the ceiling, the camera changing to his Point of View as on the ceiling are the ladies faces in dream circles of sort.
The camera shows the faces of the girls in random fashion, and also showcases an action that Danny took with the girls during his adventures in the new Earth they were on. After that, the camera switches from his Point of View and goes back to show his face as he is deep in thought… on which lady he really does come to love more so than the others in terms of the romantic, long-term sense.
The camera switches from the restless Fenton boy back to the ladies, showing that some of them had blushes on their faces as the dreams they were having about the young lad was drifting towards more… daring territories, some quite bold & adult in nature.
The camera than changes to outside, zooming slowly away from the homes to showcase the stars that were now twinkling free and strong in the velvet black sky. The moon shone brightly… and within the moon came in the random picture of Danny's face holding one of the ladies close to him! A shooting star shot forth underneath the moon, as the final part of the credits showed.

(Author's Notes: Hey everyone! Hope you all liked this one. This story is coming along well, and I hope to make both long & good as my four Monsters and Magic novels!
Before I say or do anything else, I want to give praise and glory to the Lord. Thank you Jesus for being with me, my family, my friends and all of those out there that need you. Still a lot of healing that needs to be done, with me and the ones that miss my Dad very much. And also, I ask you Jesus to please help us to be strong in a world that has gone crazy in a lot of ways. Help us Lord to be more strong and resilient with you, for you and by you!
I continue to pray and hope also for things to be fully restored. That the plague known as the Coronavirus is eliminated from the equation of life for good, as well as the New Normal & Do The Five Things rules and regulations to also be done away with as well. I really hope and pray to see everyone get back together, in large numbers, close and real like before. And also to see no more fear/paranoia/anxiety/doubt/hesitation.
So more plans are being made, and Danny is right about one thing… things going to get QUITE interesting around their new home! Especially since they have to wait a year for the Dragonballs to appear, and even then it will be an adventure and a half in finding them! They will meet many new beings, make new friends and enemies, learn all sorts of things… this is what I meant by character growth for ALL of them, both the newcomers and the natives of the DB world!
In the next chapter, Danny finally gets a chance to ask Bulma about the Capsuling process. And also, expect me and Author Dreams Come True 996 to give the first progress report to the others… and some wacky, unexpected antics that I believe you all may enjoy!
I really hope for this as well; to receive more reviews, followers and many others who are interested in this story. It would make my day to see many reviews. And also someone that finds this story interesting to make a comic drawings out of it.
Also, I took the liberty of putting down this. In reality, long ago as a young man, I also had to learn about finances and keeping a budget the hard way when I first got my first checking and savings account. It took a lot of hard lessons and such, but finally managed to maintain and manage both accounts. So I put that kind of lesson here with Danny. Again, I not only mix a little of my own personality with Danny here, but also a bit of my own real-life experience as well.
And as for the terrain that is around the Red Ribbon Army area, it is like this. While the area is surrounded by thick forests with large lakes and rivers, it also has these. To the far northern area is the frozen mountain area, where Goku once passed through in the series. To the far eastern area are grasslands. To the far west is more forested area, where it leads to Korin's Tower. And the far southern area leads to desert lands and Giran's Village & also Nam's Village. So I would have to say that Danny and the others have a lot of variety of grounds to train in.
And on one final note, it is this. I do plan for Jenny to become an android like two certain ones from the Dragonball Z series. But it will be like this; when she awakens in her new body and form, her power level will be roughly the same as Tien Shinhan as he is now. And she will be able to fly and learn how to utilize energy attacks, but she will have to LEARN them like the others. And also, her physical strength is on par with Goku but she will get stronger via training like the rest of the crew.
In short, she will have to earn & learn the various techniques and strength. Not be programmed like Gero will do with his future creations.
Now for the questions! Ahem…
What do you think of my theory concerning the link between Danny's mortal form and spirit form? What do you think will happen after Danny receives training from both Master Roshi and the others, plus life training, but all in his mortal form?

Optional Bonus Question: I had forgotten to include this in the other Bonus Question in the previous chapter, and for that I apologize. Ahem… what do you think the others would react if they were given a small bag that was filled with Senzu Beans from Korin? And also, when the time comes for Danny and the others to go back to their own world/universe, who should be responsible for handling & perhaps growing the beans in their world?
For those of you unfamiliar, Senzu Beans are mystical food objects that possess immense healing capabilities. They are green and small, easily chewable & grown by Korin the cat. Eating one bean provides nearly instantaneous healing of wounds, especially mortal ones, restoration of energy back up to full & also keep a person full for ten whole days.
