Danny Fenton: A Chaotic Adventure

(Author's Notes: Hey everyone! How are you all doing? I hope that all of you are doing well, keeping strong and sure!
Before I do or say anything else, I want to give praise and honor to the Lord. God, thank you for being with me and helping me out in all things! It has been a rough and tiring time for me and my family, but with you aiding us, we are getting stronger and better. Thank you also Jesus for looking after all of my friends and family, as we need you now more than ever before.
I continue to ask you for guidance, strength, courage, conviction, confidence and humility God. Help me and others to be proud on how you made us, but also humbled so that we do not let it go to our heads in a wrong prideful way. I will continue to do my best to bring glory, honor and more to you Jesus Christ. I have lost a lot of faith in the world, and sadly many things and people that have fallen to the world's grip. So I will rely on you more Jesus, to stand strong and sure with you always.
I also continue to hope to see the world and the people change for the better. I continue to hope and pray to see the complete end of the New Normal on all levels, where the Do The Five Thing rules and regulations are all done away with for good as well & finally where this Cancel Culture and complete nonsense that has cropped up with alarming regularity is also put to rest permanently.

In this chapter, you will see the reactions of more of the various people that are back in the other universe. You will see their reactions concerning the situation involving Danny and the ladies that are in the DB world. I will do my best to portray them as best I can.
On another note, it is this. Author gonzo22 PM'd me and stated that he will no longer read this crossover, saying on how he was disappointed with how it was going with certain characters. Same with a Guest reviewer by the name of MWIZA G. CHIHANA, whom has been giving me a lot of negative reviews at my Disney/Toho works.
Allow me to make something perfectly clear: I cannot please everyone, nor do I ever want to. In the words of my pastor Rick Godwin from my church Summit Christian Center at San Antonio, it is this- Those who seek to please everyone lose only themselves, who they are and displease their own beings. Okay, not an exact quote since my memory is not the best but you get the idea I hope.
I am making stories for people to enjoy them, not to please every single being. I have my own ideas, standards, thoughts, theories and so on. If people do not like my stories, it is okay. I cannot please all, and will not lower or compromise myself to please all either. Goes the same in real life too. I may make enemies, but that is actually good.
In the words of Winston Churchill- You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.
I look towards the small, subtle but significant things and differences that God has taught me to be the real difference between right and wrong, real and artificial and so on.
And on a final note, I wish to promote my dear Author friend of mine pinkstoryteller. I urge you all to check her works, because they are really fantastic and deserve much praise! She has an imagination, creativity and insight that really surpasses my own & I am actually proud of that! She has amazing talent, and her stories deserve to be recognized!

Any OC names that appear on here, I got from the website known as 20000-NAMES, which show various boy and girl names from different nations and ethnicities. Each name has a meaning, if you wish to see what it. Also, the Destroian Empire and the Destroian OC's belong to LORD DESTYRUK. Certain family members of theirs are from my fourth Disney/Toho novel Monsters and Magic Special: Sofia's Imagination.
When Danny and the ladies arrive, it is at the very early stages of the Piccolo Jr. Saga, at the exact moment when Shen Long was revived and granted the wish of bringing those that were killed by Demon King Piccolo and his minions back to life. And with a three-year gap before the next tournament, it would give Danny and his date's ample time to explore the new reality/world they are in & to collect the Dragon Balls.
Danny Phantom is a cartoon series that was created by Butch Hartman, developed by Steve Marmel. The series aired on April 2004, the network that released it was Nickelodeon. The production companies were Billionford Inc. and Nickelodeon Animation Studios, with the distributors being Viacom International Inc. and Nelvana. Look for my Danny Phantom series and specials when getting the chance, if you please. This takes place after the episode De-Stabilized, but before Phantom Planet. And also, said last episode will NOT be featured here.
DragonBall is a manga/anime series that was written by Akira Toriyama, published by Shueisha Inc. with North America published by Viz Media. The manga was created in December 1984, ending in June 1995 with forty-two volumes. The anime was directed by Minoru Okazaki & Daisuke Nisho, produced by Tokizō Tsuchiya/Kenji Shimizu/Jun'ichi Ishikawa. Studio was Toei Animation, licensed by Funimation Entertainment for North America. Original network that broadcasted it was Fuji TV, with multiple English networks such as Cartoon Network Toonami and Funimation Channel. It ran from February 1986 to April 1989.
I was going to use lyrics for the Intro and Outro, but Flower princess11 did not approve so I removed them. She requested it, so I complied. Also, the pictures I am using to see the compound is from the Dragonball Fandom website. And also, I am asking for anyone who is creative with their hands in making pictures and such to make pictures that depict my crossover here.
If you wish, use your imagination and put in any kind of song/music intro from any anime series with the Intro and Outro here. And also, so no one is confused, this is DragonBall & not DragonBall Z. And also, not going to follow the Dragonball Super anime or manga series in any way.
Different intro and outro will appear in the next book of the series.

{The screen shows the starry atmosphere of space, with the planet Jupiter shown in the upper right corner of the screen. It looks peaceful for the moment… than a white-blue comet of sort streaked past it and towards the screen before seemingly going through it! It was soon followed by multiple other white-blue comets!
The screen changed to show the multiple glowing celestial objects streaking past the Asteroid Belt, Mars and the Moon. Music picked up as the planet Earth came into view in all her glory, the comets streaking towards it as they entered the atmosphere! The image of the DP logo appeared above the planet, and down below appeared words in white letters against the inky black space underneath Earth. The logo changed to show the capital D and P letters splitting apart slightly to show the name DANNY PHANTOM, and below the planet were the white words AND THE CHAOTIC ADVENTURE.
The scene goes from space to the Earth, in a clear field where the blue-white comets land. They do not smash into the ground, but rather hover over the ground and shortly pop like bubbles. Emerging first for all to see is Danny Fenton, who looks around confused until he turns behind him to see the other comets that soon burst forth.
The camera goes to showcase intensely but briefly the women that also traveled with Danny:
Kimberly Ann Possible, Alexandra Casoy, Gwen Tennyson, Emma Mackenzie, Diana Lombard, Sabrina Spellman, Kara Kent, Jenny Wakeman, Cree Lincoln, Violet Parr, Jen Masterson, the floating ghoul Phantasma, Vicky Aidith, Wendy Corduroy, Debbie Thornberry, April O'Neal, gothic girl Gwen Honorine, Angelica Pickles, Kitty Pryde, Makoto Kino a.k.a. Lita for English name, Katie Kaboom, Penny Proud, Ginger Foutley, Spectra Vondergeist, Winx Club fairy Musa, Felicia Hardy, Daria Morgendorffer, Barbara Gordon, Cleo Sertori and Starfire.
After the last girl's face is shown, the camera shows to see Danny confused as he looks to them. A bright flash occurs, and he looks upward. The camera soon shows an aerial shot of him directly in the middle of it, the girls coming to his position and getting close to said teen as they all look upward with him towards the camera.
The camera than shows the sky where white comet was streak through the air, zooming in to show it was the Four-Star Dragonball! It stays with it until said orb disappears over the horizon. The camera than showcases Danny and the others looking up at where the ball went, than a scroll appearing in front of him. He takes it and unfurls it to show the message that was given to him and the ladies. The camera shows the message as it pans down until it showcases these words that shine with golden light- ONLY THE WISH FROM THE ETERNAL DRAGON SHEN LONG WILL SEND BACK
The scene than shows Danny Fenton leading the group, Kim and Musa by his side with Starfire and Gwen Tennyson behind him on the left & right respectively. The others follow in an arrowhead-like formation. They soon stop, seeing a cliff and the camera showing that the entourage was now gazing at the mega metropolis known as West City!
The camera than leaves the group, going to showcase the front entrance of the domed building that has the words Capsule Corp. etched in it. And zooms in to show that standing in front of said entrance/exit way was Bulma Briefs with Oolong the shape-shifting pig on her left, Puar the shape-shifting flying cat on her right. Both smile and wave to the audience.
The scene does some brief but interesting cut-scenes that show Danny and the other women talking to them inside the building around a table, Bulma seeing the message, followed by her talking to them as she is most likely explaining the Dragon Balls & who Shen Long is & the clip ends with her giving Danny the famous Dragon Radar as she points out how to use it.
The camera shows Danny given a large trunk which contains Dyno Capsules of various sizes, color and numbers, courtesy of Bulma who says it's on the house. She also gives a blue capsule that is marked with a capital black B, which are the blueprints for said item that she gives to Barbara Gordon. The scene than shows the group leaving the area…
And the camera shows clips of the group running away from a large unusual-looking, jungle-green T-Rex & a silver Western-European dragon! The scene shows the girls like Cree, Vicky, Debbie, Gwen Honorine, Angelica and Penny running from them! It than shows a clip of Danny being carried by Jenny in the air along with Musa, Spectra and Phantasma looking at a nest that has three red baby Pteranodons in it… and Kitty popping out from underneath it with an egg that soon hatches to showcase another baby red Pteranodon.
The scene changes to showcase a clear field, the sky darkening with an immense column of golden light that writhes like a serpent. The camera shows Danny with the girls, Daria and Cleo by his side with Ginger behind him. All of them, and the girls who are shown nearby, looking upward in awe at the light. The camera changes to show in full the golden light changing… the light flashing out to reveal in all his green-scaled might, the Eternal Dragon known as Shen Long!
The scene changes yet again, this time to show Danny Fenton changing into Danny Phantom. The camera shows him flying over the road, with the ocean in the background and a hover car that is similar to the car that Ox King gave to Goku and the others long ago. In the car driving at the wheel was Kim Possible, shotgun was Alexandra & in the back seat was Emma and Katie Kaboom. Riding behind them were several motorbikes that had the following riders- Sabrina, Vicky, Violet, Wendy, April, Felicia and Kitty!
The camera pointed to the sea to show Cleo in her mermaid form as she jumped out of the ocean. Following close in is a Capsule Corp. submarine/aircraft combo that holds Daria, Barbara, Diana and Cree! The camera changes to showcase Danny… and who is above him! Flying above was Kara Kent in her superheroine outfit, Musa in her Winx persona, Phantasma, Spectra, Starfire, Gwen Tennyson in her alien form… and Penny Proud & Makoto flying atop a yellow Nimbus Cloud together!
The camera showed clips of Danny and the others going into various places for adventure & to learn and grow. It shows clips of the group searching in the sea, with Danny in scuba gear on & swimming with Cleo with the submarine/aircraft combo following them. It soon shows a clip of Danny with Makoto, Katie and Felicia as they are in another city as they are taking in the sights of it. And shows a clip of Danny in his Phantom form with Sabrina on her broom, Kim in a jet pack & Kara in her superheroine persona as they fly around & have some good fun.
The camera than showed appeared to be flying through mountains, than over a vast desert that seemed to stretch for miles! It than stopped and showcased familiar settings. It showed Fortune-Teller Baba's Palace, with said pink-haired fortune teller floating on her ball with her pink ghost assistant by her side as they grinned at the camera & audience. The camera stayed on them for a moment before shifting to a scene that showed Turtle Island where it showed Master Roshi, his Turtle companion & Launch in her blue-haired form as they waved and smiled to the audience.
The camera than changed to show Korin's Tower, and at the base of it was Tien Shinhan, his friend Chiaotzu, the former desert bandit Yamcha & finally Goku's best friend Krillin! They all stop their martial arts training to look at the audience before smiling and waving hello. The camera shifts and changes to the entrance of the place that holds the World Martial Arts Tournament… and coming into view for all to see were the previous contestants like Nam, Bacterian, Ran-Fan, Giran and Pamput. Also coming into view was the permanent fixture of the tournament, the Announcer himself! All wave to the audience before doing their signature poses.
The camera changed to show a dark-yellow nebula backdrop with many shadowy figures that range in size and shape, most likely featuring the many enemies that Danny and his dates would meet in the future. One of them stood out from the rest, in front of the shadow shapes with its features more outlined. It was a tall being in a turban and cape with pointed shoulder guards, his shoes also pointed & looking tall and imposing.
The camera than transitioned quickly to show the many characters that were linked to the ladies, indicating it was their friends & family members back home. It showed the forms and faces of characters like Mr. & Mrs. Fenton, Tucker Foley, Dani Fenton/Phantom, Batman, Robin, Superman, Mr. & Mrs. Possible, Ron Stoppable, Clawdeen Wolf, Draculaura, Frankie Stein, Martin Mystery with Java the Caveman, M.O.M., Dipper and Mabel Pines, Max & Ben Tennyson and Kevin Eleven, Professor Charles Xavier & Wolverine, Mr. & Mrs. Proud with Sugar Mama, and more!
The scene changes to showcase case to a large mesa that is high above the ground… and near the center of the immense chunk of earth is Danny Phantom Goku still in his child form! Behind him was Kami the Guardian of the Earth & his assistant Mr. Popo. Behind the halfa hero was his entourage, the women looking on as something was about to happen. Goku and Danny were smirking… than charging at one another as this was a sparring match of sort! The camera showed a clip of Goku getting hit by a green ecto-blast, than switching fast to show Goku hitting Danny hard over the head with his Power Pole!
The scene soon changed again, this time showing Danny Fenton flying on the Nimbus Cloud with a Dragonball in his hand! The young man looked relieved, and was soon joined by the other women as they were in a large aircraft that was big enough to hold them all comfortably!
The camera gets a close up of Danny as he holds the Four-Star Dragonball. Than the camera goes into the aircraft to show the ladies and what they carried; first was Kim Possible holding the One-Star Ball, Starfire lifting up for all to see the Two-Star Ball, Penny Proud holding up in her left hand the Three-Star Ball, Gwen Tennyson cradling in her hands the Five-Star Ball, Katie Kaboom smiling and holding high in victory the Six-Star Ball & finally Alex holding high the Seven-Star Ball!
The scene changes to show all are on land now, the seven spheres gathered together and glowing… and the form of Shen Long emerging once more! The Eternal Dragon roared loudly as he was summoned, and the camera showed Danny underneath the visage of the dragon with the women on both sides. The entire group than did their signature poses as the music ended, an excellent pan shot of everyone underneath the roaring form of Shen Long!}

While Samantha, Valerie, Jack and Maddie were in the basement of the complex to think on their past life choices & what to do about current and future ones, Jazz was in the living room with Tucker and Danielle. The eldest Fenton child was on the couch, Danielle sitting close next to her. After traveling all over the world, meeting new people and making new friends and such, she felt something that she rarely felt… which was complete safety and acceptance by someone that was family.
Tucker on a plush armchair near the duo, sighing as he took off his glasses and rubbed the middle spot above the bridge of his nose. Once he managed to get some of the stress out by rubbing said area, he put his glasses on and looked towards the young women on the couch. His eyes went to Jazz and said in a tied but awed tone, "Man… I can't believe that I just talked like that to Sam. I mean… wow. Who knew I could so something like that?".
The orange-haired beauty gave a small smile to her friend, knowing what he was talking about. She replied in a slightly amazed tone, "Me either. I mean, don't get me wrong Tucker. You are quite brave and such in your own right, especially when helping Danny fight off his enemies. But when it comes to Sam and her temper, you usually give in to her wrath.".
The African-American techno-wizard looked back at her with a smile of his own and stated, "No offense taken. I mean, you're right. Usually I would be afraid and cower from Sam when she is angry or in one of her rage moods. But… I don't know why, but I just got this burst of courage from out of nowhere that let me to finally say what I wanted to say about her. It's… well, it's amazing!".
Jazz smile went up a little more and she remarked, "Well, I'm glad that you did find it. I believe that she, along with my parents, needed to be told about their actions. While I know that everyone, even myself, has flaws that most of the time give a person more character and such… sometimes, some flaws are more destructive than productive.".
She said the last part with her smile dropping down. She and Tucker knew that Sam was a good friend and was loyal, but sometimes her own jealousy got the best of her & her actions were often hypocritical and truly more or less like the actions brought about by the A-Listers.
Tucker answered in the same tired tone, "I know… believe me, I know. I'm just surprised that you didn't call me out on my own actions concerning Danny in the past.".
Jazz and Danielle looked to him, the oldest Fenton daughter giving him a bit of a knowing look while the youngest Fenton child was a bit perplexed by this. She inquired, "What do you mean by that Tucker?".
Said young man saw the look that Jazz was giving him, seeing that she already knew what he was saying but wanted to hear him say it. From a professional point of view, it was better to hear the person speaking their minds willingly like so. To get it off their chest entirely.
The African-American teen gathered his memories and courage up, looking to Danielle and answering, "What I mean is this, Dani. I do not exactly have a clean history with your brother. I can remember the times when my own actions affected him, and me, in a negative way. There was the time I was jealous of his powers, being able to do them and use them in ways I often dreamed of doing.".
He continued on with some regret in his tone, "I made a wish to have ghost powers like his, and like Sam, I didn't know about Desiree being around. She granted my wish, and I had powers like Danny. But rather than use them to protect others… I used them for my own enjoyment, for personal pleasure. It's… It's something I'm not proud of to remember.".
Tucker continued on while the ladies listen patiently, "It got so bad, along with my annoyance and jealousy at the time to Danny when he was trying to help me out, that I had turning into an evil monster. Danny had to fight me, and use the Fenton Ghost Catcher on me to separate myself from my own dark-side. I saw it, and couldn't believe that the nightmare I was seeing was own jealous self.".
Dani seemed to be thought, thinking on something rather hard, then asked a question, "Wait! If that was your own self, shouldn't you be… well… dead or something? I mean, it was your own spirit that got pulled out, right?".
Jazz was the one who answered her question, "I don't think it was Danielle. I have a theory on that. It seemed that what my brother pulled from Tucker was the manifestation of his negative side that was mostly of jealousy and being power-hungry. Desiree's wish must have given his negative side the powers of a ghost, and it is vastly different on how Danny got his powers and form. That is why he was able to separate it from Tucker how he did, and Tucker still being alive with us.".
What Jazz stated was true. Danny's entire being was covered in ecto-essence, right down to his DNA. But for Tucker, the power was given to him in the form of magic & seemingly latched itself onto his negative emotions. And since it was briefly, the power not been given enough time to permanently latch onto Tucker in any way, it was possible for the young lad to be separated from said power/emotions given physical form with the unique gadget & still be along the living.
Tucker looked to her and said, "That maybe true Jazz, and honestly will have to think on that one later. But… this just showed on how much I did mess up big time. Sam and Danny forgave me, but… still something that is a mark against me.".
He continued on, wanting to get it all off his chest. Jazz and Danielle continue to wait, watch and listen. Unlike Sam and the others, this was different. With the Fenton parents and Miss Manson, they had to force them to listen to their own actions and the consequences of said action. For Foley though, it was all voluntary and of his own choice.
He pushed forward, "I also let my own affection and love for technology get the better of me. I mean, sure I have some serious skills in the world of technology that has really helped us out a lot when in trouble. But sometimes… it gets the better of my judgement. And also that whole King Tucker fiasco… oh boy…".
Danielle looked to Jazz on what the young man was talking about, the older Fenton sibling explaining on how Tucker was possessed by an ancient Egyptian ghost who in life was Pharaoh Duulaman. The pharaoh's servant who went by the name of Hotep RA, who had remained loyal to the ruler in death as he was in life, had given Tucker the staff of his master which had possessed him.
The possessed young man, corrupting his mind while granting him immense magical powers that was able to warp reality itself. Danny was able to rip the staff from him, regaining himself in the process and Tucker using the staff's power to restore everything but made sure that no one remembered what happened except for him, Danny and Sam.
The adorable halfa girl was amazed to hear all of that, then asked the question, "Wait a minute! If everyone's memories of it were erased, how did you remember it?". Even Tucker looked at her in surprise, as he knew he did not tell Jasmine about any of it.
Jazz smiled softly and answered, "You can thank Desiree for that, I believe. Some time ago, I was burning myself out in studying so hard for a test. All that studying really started to frazzle my memory, and I wished out loud to remember everything I learned from the semester. Desiree must have been around, because I suddenly started to remember everything… including what happened that day.".
Tucker chuckled softly and stated, "Heh, Desiree's wishes actually helped out in a way that is outside of a fight. Go figure.".
He then looked down as he remembered why they were even talking about his time as a power-hungry pharaoh. He looked to Jazz and said, "So as you can both see, I don't exactly have the best track record. Especially with Danny, given on those times I let either my obsession with technology or power get to me. So… why didn't you call me out on it?".
The psychologist-in-the-making gave off a small breath and answered, "It's because compared to the others Tuck, it seems that you actually made some progress in improving yourself.".
She explained more in depth, "You still are true to yourself, such as your love for technology and such. But from where I see, you no longer obsess over it and that are you doing your best to have a little more self-control over yourself. Still need some work yes, but at least you are taking the steps necessary.".
Jazz continued with a small but good-natured teasing smile, "Heh, you like to show your affection and love for the ladies with your humor and lines. But I think you try just a bit too hard in that area. Instead of trying to put moves on them and using really corny lines, try to show honesty to them in your words. And let your actions show that you really want to get to know them on a more personal level, not just on a physical one. And lastly, put them first instead of your precious PDA.".
Tucker was automatically about to defend his precious piece of tech… when he stopped and started to really go over the words of Jasmine. After some thought, and some strong internal strength to not come to the defense of his electronic device, he looked to her with a smile of his own and replied, "Maybe you're right. Maybe… it's time that I try that. Who knows, maybe I can get a girl of my own that is both beautiful and really gets me.".
Danielle put in, "Just be sure that you really get her as well. When it comes to love, it's always a two-way street.". Both of the teenagers looked at the little halfa girl in complete surprise at her words, Danielle folding her arms and puffing up just a little bit with pride as she stated with a smug smile that she learned many things traveling across the world. That, and also that she read the words in a book somewhere over in Europe.
The three shared some much needed relief-laughter, which lasted for a few moments before it quieted down and got back to the task at hand. Jazz looked to her friend and stated, "So while you still got a ways to go Tucker, at least you are improving. Sam and my folks… not so much.".
Dani looked to her and asked, "What do you think of Valerie? I mean, she did help me with Danny when Vlad captured me…".
The orange-haired beauty sighed and answered in a professional tone, "Valerie… like Tucker, she still needs some work. While it's good that she improved a lot after being ousted by the A-Listers, and also getting along with Danny until she made the decision to leave him… she still needs to understand some things, like my parents need to do.
She continued on, "Their obsession and seemingly negative view of ghosts needs to change. Danny told me what happened between him, Valerie and the little ghost dog Cujo. While I can't blame Valerie for being mad at what the little ghost dog did, she missed a small, subtle but significant thing.".
Tucker inquired, "And what is that?".
Jazz answered in a solemn tone, "Cujo was once a security dog that worked for Axiom Labs. When they changed to become more modern and technological, a report stated that the dogs were no longer needed. So what happens to something that is no longer needed?".
This got Tucker and Danielle to think for a moment… until it really hit them. The staff must have had to put the dogs down and most likely tried to hide the evidence of their actions, as putting animals down in such a manner would rile up animal activists and such.
Jasmine saw the horror on their faces, soon realizing that they had figured it out. She pushed forward, "Yup. I have been reading up on someone who actually has some expertise with ghosts… and I don't mean the Ghostbusters who live in New York or my parents. It's from a person called Dr. James Harvey, who is a psychiatrist and has actually graduated with honors from John's Hopkins University.".
This intrigued Tucker and Dani as the oldest Fenton child explained, "According to a book of his called Understanding and Releasing Spirits Peacefully, he stated that some ghosts stay in the mortal plane because they have unfinished business. And by helping them to resolve it, they can crossover to the final part.".
The clone of Danny had a quizzical look on her face and asked, "Final part? What is that exactly?".
Jazz answered, "According to Dr. Harvey, it varies depending on the spirit. Either way, what happened to Cujo later on confirms his theory at least in a certain way. When he found his squeaky toy, he went back to the Ghost Zone.".
She looked at the duo and finished up, "What I am saying about Valerie, and also my own parents, is that their zeal against spirits is misguided. While they have protected the town and others from ghost attacks, I don't believe they ever took the time to find out more on them. Like how they even became spirits in the first place. And if they continue on this obsession… well, take a look at Vlad. He's a prime example on what happens when someone allows obsession to take over them.".
Tucker and Danielle shivered at that, especially the little halfa lady. Mr. Masters was as crazy as they came, and it seemed that in allowing his obsession with gaining Maddie & getting rid of Jack… turned him into a monster on a true supervillain level.
The orange-haired beauty stated, "Danny is still young and learning, so maybe this stay at that other universe he is in can help him more in understanding the supernatural instead of always blasting first. At least, I hope so…".
The African-American lad looked at his female friend and said, "I think you were right in what you said to Sam, Val and your folks. That all of us need to think on what we need to do, for ourselves and for Danny when he gets back from his trip.".
Jazz knew that he was right on that. While she knew of everyone's strengths and weaknesses, she had taken the time to learn more about herself as well. While she did have a mature mindset and was smart, she realized that a major weakness for her was her over-eagerness and lack of experience. Her actions against the less threatening ghosts & being deceived by Vlad were proof of that.
Even though she made peace with her brother like so, she managed to overcome her pride and foolishness by admitting that she had a lot to learn still and do.
Dani yawned suddenly, causing the two teens to look at her. Her eyes felt droopy as she said softly, "Yawn… sorry guys… just… a bit tired… from everything. Mind if I… sleep down here?".
Jazz smiled softly once more, getting up from her place on the couch and picking Dani up. She whispered to her, "Sorry little sister, but you'll be sleeping in Danny's room until he comes back. We'll see if we can make a new room for you here.". She then started to walk towards the stairs, up to where the bedrooms were at.
The young halfa girl normally would argue with her, maybe put up a struggle at being picked up & handled like a small child… even though she technically was. But the events of today had her drained… and also hearing Jazz calling her sister like so brought a sweet peace to her that she never thought she experienced. So she soon fell asleep in the arms of her big sister, entrusting her well-being to her before going off into dreamland.
Tucker watched the whole thing as Jazz ascended the stairway to head to the bedrooms, the young girl stopping and turning to say goodnight & farewell to him. She also called to the security system to deactivate the shield, which would allow Tucker to go home. Said young man thanked her for all she had done, waving goodbye before leaving through the front door.
When he closed said door and started to walk back home, Tucker was in deep thought. He said to himself, 'Wow… tonight has just been a night full of surprises, revelations and information! But out of all of them, I do know this. I want to change for the better… I need to if I'm going to go forward. And also to help Danny whenever he comes back from his adventure in that universe he and the ladies are in.'.
As he walked back home, contemplating what he needed to change and improve himself for the future… he did not realize that at this very moment, others were doing the same thing as well!
~In the Ghost Zone~
There was much activity in the Ghost Zone, and it was all due to certain female spirits that had returned from the Author Realm. It all started the moment they had returned from said place a week ago, where Kitty, Desiree and Ember had declared that Danny Phantom was gone. It had sparked much activity within the realm, many going to the spirits to see if it was real.
Desiree had used her magic to showcase what occurred in the Author Realm, and the various mischievous & downright mean-hearted spooks to celebrate, glad that the killjoy to their fun in messing with the mortals was now more. The only ones not joining in the affair were those that really considered the halfa a decent being and friend.
However… in doing this, it created a power vacuum.
Many spirits who considered themselves the big shots of the zone such as Skulker, Technus, Johnny Thirteen, Penelope Spectra, Undergrowth, Vortex, Youngblood… and surprisingly, even the Box Ghost tried to take command of the various spirits in how to create chaos in the mortal realm. But with a common enemy no longer around, any kind of team work they usually had with one another disintegrated quickly.
Not to mention that the Fenton family, the remaining members of Team Phantom & Red Huntress had increased their intensity in stopping their usual shenanigans. Even if the halfa hero was gone, the others had stepped up in stopping them.
For the moment, many of Danny's enemies and friends were gathered together at a place called the Blue Marvel Zero, a popular eatery where many kinds of supernatural beings came. Not just ghost, but those who exceeded the limits of man and nature. Desiree was showing to all of them what had occurred at the 1st Progress Report in the realm. Needless to say, many of them were surprised on what had occurred to Danny on the first day of arriving to the other universe.
Skulker commented, "So, that… thing that the whelp and others saw when they arrived, that was a Dragonball? I honestly thought it would be bigger.".
Kitty remarked, "Like Dreams told that mutant turtle with the orange bandana-mask, it's that big things come in small packages. Still… I wonder what I would wish for if I found all seven and summoned this Shen Long dragon.".
Lunch Lady looked to her and inquired, "Why not just ask Desiree for a wish, dearie?".
The on-again/off-again girlfriend of Johnny looked to her and answered, "Because from what I heard, Shen Long may grant you only one wish but it's to the letter. He doesn't twist and warp it like Desiree does, and also that he is more powerful than her. At least wish-wise. I mean, this dragon can even bring the dead back to life fully! And she is not capable of that!".
This info had been the talk of the zone for some time now, the first time around when Desiree had showed the residents of the spectral plane what occurred on their first visit to the Author Realm. While many supernatural beings had played God in bringing the dead back to life, it was mostly with drawbacks or side-effects. Their efforts had either produced zombies, vampires, mummies, ghouls and all kinds of supernatural beings. And those were brought back to flesh and blood was usually with a price that went from mild to severe, and most likely than not lead to tragedy in their choice.
But at hearing that the Eternal Dragon could bring many others back to life with none of the side-effects or drawbacks, it would be a hot topic of discussion for some time.
Desiree saw everyone looking at her and she nodded her head & admitting with some reluctance, "Yes… that is true. While my magic is capable of many things, fully bringing the dead back to life is not one of them.".
Skulker also put forth, "I must say about the whelp, he is taking charge of a situation more better than I had assumed. And this Red Ribbon Army… if it was powerful as this DJ character claimed it was, who or what could have devastated the main heart of it all?". While he was a hunter at heart, or so he claimed, the mechanical being knew the potency of armies.
All of them had various theories and ideas on what could have happened, but they kept it to themselves for the time being.
Upon seeing the ruined manor, Youngblood commented, "Wow! Now that is one big manor! Would be something to haunt! And those other places… I have to say, whoever ran the place sure didn't mess around!".
Technus said with some disdain in his voice, "Maybe, but look how ancient and old that tech is! I mean, talk about retro! Walkie-talkies, ham radio… that is like insulting to me!". The ghost who had been a technician when alive always liked to see & also possess the latest in high-tech hardware and software. So seeing something like what the RR Army possessed was insulting, at least in his view.
Comments and more were made at seeing the various groups looking around the manor, until the part came when Vicky had found one of the Power Jackets and commandeered it. Many who loved mindless destruction and violence cheered for the redheaded terror of Dimmesdale, Technus exclaiming that he would have found a way to make it better, more destructive.
He dare not mention that it was he who improved the current suit that was used by Valerie, a.k.a. Red Huntress. She had been given his fellow spirits, himself included, a hard time and it would be hazardous to his health if they ever knew why she was more potent than before.
The various villains and villainesses were cheering for her as she managed to take down some of the ladies who had tried to stop her, but when they saw Danny appear on the scene in his mortal form to take on Miss Aidith, many assumed that he was going to be humiliated & beaten up bad due to not wanting his secret to come out.
Many jaws dropped down at seeing him reveal himself in his Phantom-form, though some who were on the side of Good smiled at seeing the lad sacrificing his secret identity in order to protect the young women. Ember exclaimed, "What is this?! He gives up his own secret?! Just like that?!".
Princess Dorathea smirked slightly at the rock diva and replied in a soft but confident tone, "That is who Sir Daniel is, Ember. Even though you may not comprehend or understand it, he is a hero who puts the lives of others in front of his own.".
Cujo barked in agreement, panting happily as Dora smiled at him and pat/rubbed his head gently. The blue-haired flaming beauty just glared hard at the ruler of a still evolving realm before turning back to the magical screen.
Many of Danny's enemies groaned somewhat at his quips and remarks that he hurled back at Vicky, who had lost her cool and attacked with reckless abandon. Penelope shook her head and stated with annoyance, "I honestly cannot blame the girl for going off like that after that child's annoying words, but she just fell into one of his classic traps.".
Of course, none of them wanted to admit that they too had fallen into the halfa hero's traps many times, where he taunted them and made them lose their cool in order to make sloppy mistakes. They had used the tactic against him, and while he did fall for it, he often recovered quickly enough to turn the tables so he could defeat them.
The entire place continued to watch as Vicky was defeated as Danny used his intangibility to grab her from the mobile suit & pull her out of it, said object taking the dive into the lake below. Those that actually liked Phantom were impressed by his quick thinking and reflexes. And seeing Vicky being stunned at tied up like so had mildly impressed some of the spirits there, many male ones admiring some of the lovely ladies that had gone with the halfa.
Especially Johnny Thirteen, who made a lewd comment on how he wouldn't getting mind getting cuffed by Batgirl. This resulted him in getting slapped HARD in the back of the head by Kitty, and also many female ghosts giving him looks of disgust at the biker.
Amorpho commented, "I will give Danny this, he certainly knows how to prioritize when it comes understanding situations.". The faceless ghost had once been an enemy to Phantom due to being jealous at all of the attention he got. But after a little mishap when the two fought that resulted in both of their powers being cancelled, and him causing all kinds of trouble in the mortal realm, the two managed to reach an understanding with one another. And in so doing, aided one another in getting their powers/abilities back.
As the scene continued on, all watched the various expressions and words of the different women as Danny started to tell a bit more about himself to them. At hearing the young man telling them everything about Vlad Masters, the spirits knew that this would start waves back in the mortal realm. In the background and in the darkness, Fright Knight said to himself softly, "This is not good… I must report all of this back to Master Vlad.".
The legendary self-described spirit of Halloween was now under the command of Vlad Masters & his alter halfa-ego. He was a spy now, and also given the task to recruit potent spirits that would be useful for his master. Fright Knight admitted that Masters/Plasmius was cunning, resourceful, strong and manipulative. Traits that made him the ideal leader to serve under.
But he also knew that his master was quite insane, which was why he was still cautious and wary of him whenever he had a new scheme in the works. While brilliant in many areas, his obsession with the halfa child and the woman who was his mother often clouded his judgement and actions. Plus him underestimating his foe often led to his defeat and forced retreat.
Fright Knight made sure that no one was looking before vanishing in a flash of green fire, reporting back to his master posthaste in order to report his findings.
Once the Progress Report was complete and Desiree had canceled the magic that showcased to all everything, this got the group talking about what they just learned. Skulker proclaimed arrogantly, "Well, the whelp did manage to survive the first day there. But when he comes back, I will be ready for him and his pelt will be on my trophy wall!".
Many others started to make declarations of their own, stating that they would be ready for Danny when he would come back from the other universe and defeat him. They automatically assumed that he would be the same halfa that all of them were used to fighting.
A soft laughter came forth, causing everyone to gradually cease their words to see who it was that was laughing. All eyes turned to Dora, who was laughing softly… than it gradually increased in strength and volume until she was full-blown outright laughing!
Many had never seen her like that before, causing some to back away from her since it unnerved them to see the normally calm princess to laugh in such a manner. Only her current friends near her, which was Cujo and Wulf, stayed close as they seemed to understand why she was laughing like so.
Kitty was the first one to do something, gathering her nerve and asking, "H-Hey! What's so funny?!".
Dora slowly ceased her laughter, wiping a stray tear from her eye before looking at the group who were the halfa's enemies. She gathered herself together, her face taking on a semi-serious look as she answered, "You. It is all of you who are funny, because you do not comprehend anything.".
This got a lot of glares and shouts of indignity within the group, Ghost Writer rising up to get in the face of the princess… until a low growl caused him and the others to pause in their actions. They looked to see Wulf growling at them, the werewolf spirit showing his teeth and claws now. All knew that the beast was formidable, but the real fear was of his ability to open up portals.
And if he so wished, he could open up portals that would send them to any of the big powerhouses that were on young Daniel's side. And none of them would want to feel the annoyance or wrath of the big-league ghosts like Pandora or Clockwork.
Sydney Poindexter, a friend to Dora but not a friend to Danny, inquired, "Dora, what is it that you're trying to tell us?".
The blonde princess sighed, realizing that the hypocritical ghost who could be a bully himself when he tried to 'save' others from bullies did not fully understand the situation. She answered him while looking serious now towards all of them, "Do you honestly think that Sir Daniel is going to be exactly the same as how he left? All of you are seriously blind and foolish if you believe that.".
She continued on, "I have noticed that my knight there is evolving. I looked up his history some time ago, and I noticed that he has been evolving ever since he acquired his power. If you would actually stop and take a good look at him, you would see that what I speak is true.".
The alluring beauty pushed forward, "He has gained the power of ice, has formed an alliance & friendship with Frostbite and his people in the Realm of the Far Frozen area. He is entrusted in using the legendary Infi-Map, learned a move from an alternate being that looked like him after seeing it only a couple of times… do you see what I am trying to say here?".
Johnny exclaimed, "Wait! Hold on! You mean that ghost that called himself Dark Dan, that version of pipsqueak from the future?".
Dora gave him a deadpanned stare and answered in a tone that conveyed her annoyance, "Yes, but that is not really Sir Daniel. From what I observed and researched, the monster was the product of two ghosts fusing together from an alternate future. And from where I can see, Sir Daniel will never be him in any way, shape or form. He is still a halfa, which means how can become something when he is still a mortal & not fused with the fool of a being Vlad Plasmius?".
Despite being a beautiful spirit that captured the eye of many a male, Dorathea had enough smarts and wisdom to see the real difference between Danny and Dan.
While the others mulled over this little bit of information, the princess pushed onward, "Now all of you, think… and I do mean THINK on this! He is going to be in an unknown world for a year there, six months or so in this world, maybe even more so depending on how long it takes to find these Dragonballs. He is now allied with some good potent girls… though I found some of them questionable…".
Princess Dorathea had a strong crush on young Danny Fenton and his alter ego after seeing his bravery and actions, so she was a bit miffed that she was not chosen to be part of the group to head out into a whole new universe with him.
She continued onward, "The Authors DJ and Dreams already explained to us that Danny and the others have potential and promise. And we have already witnessed Sir Daniel's progress here in this world, so can you imagine how he will progress there in a world that, according to the Authors, will bring about his FULL potential?".
The princess stood up from her seat and finished up in a tone of finality, "So I urge you all to think, and I mean REALLY think. Take the time to truly comprehend what is taking place now and with Sir Daniel. When he comes back, do you think he'll be the same? And most importantly… do you still wish to go to him as an enemy?".
She looked to Wulf, asking the werewolf being to make a portal for her to return home to. He nodded, using his claws to rip a hole in space that led back to her still-evolving realm where she still ruled. The two went through it, Cujo following happily behind, and the rip soon mended itself after that.
The words of Princess Dorathea had finally gotten through the adversaries of Phantom. Many had pensive/worried looks on their faces at what was taking place truly dawned on them. Desiree spoke up softly, "It is true… the child has been evolving, gaining much strength and abilities after our constant fights with him. And now that he is in another place beyond our grasps…".
Some like Skulker, Technus, Ghost Writer, Johnny and more were stubborn as they tried to shake off the words that they had heard. But for certain ones like Kitty, Desiree, and Ember… some more deep thinking and self-exploring was needed.
~In another part of the zone~
In the deep recesses of the spiritual plane was Clockwork's Lair, a citadel that was made to look like a clock tower. The structure, and everything within the section of space that belonged to Clockwork himself, was immune to alternate time paths & paradoxes. Right now, two beings had seen everything that took place at the eatery. One was Clockwork, the other… a certain being from an alternate reality that was truly gone.
It was Dan Phantom, an evil entity that was comprised of a fusion between the spirit halves of an alternate Vlad Masters and Danny Fenton. Some time ago, Danny had managed to barely defeat him and captured him in a Fenton Thermos, which was given to Clockwork. The being managed to escape from the container, but he soon learned some things.
One, was that his timeline no longer existed.
Two, he existed at the very will of Clockwork. The Time Medallion embedded within him was of the spirit's very own creation, and said being could just snap his fingers let the medallion vanish. And should that happen… Dan would cease to be completely.
Third, Dan Phantom was trapped within the boundaries of Clockwork's realm. He had free reign over the area, but should he venture outside of it… he would start to disintegrate into nothing. It was proven when he tried to fly out of area, but his right arm started to vanish quickly. He went back towards the boundaries that marked Clockwork's area, and managed to regenerate his arm.
And finally, Clockwork made sure that any attempts to go into the past or future were nullified. Though the medallion of his own creation was still fused within Dan, he still had control of all of its functions. So now the evil entity could neither go to the past or future… just stay in the current present, and watch events from his jailer's abode.
Dan Phantom sneered and stated in an arrogant tone, "Heh, foolish princess. Thinking that Danny and I are not one… how naïve and stupid can she be? Hehehehe…".
Clockwork did not turn to face the evil entity but stated in a cold tone, "How long are you going to delude yourself with your own lie, Dan? What she says is correct, and proves that she is much more than just a pretty face. You ARE the result of two ghost being fused together, therefore… how is it that the child can become you if he is still a halfa?".
Dan merely glared back at him, clinging to the dark hope of finding a way to be really free from Clockwork and finding a way to make the current Daniel undergo a tragic loss that would result in him being brought back into official existence somehow.
The spirit of time merely chuckled, a smirk on his face when he did face the alternate evil fusion. He then inquired in a mocking tone, "I know what you are thinking and hoping for. But let me ask you this Dark Dan… do you think that you can beat the child when he come back from his trip from the other universe?".
Said being merely hissed at the spirit, wanting so much to pound him into oblivion. But even he knew that he could never defeat Clockwork. He had timeless age and experience in combat, knowing abilities and techniques that most likely would flatten him quickly. That, and also he could still cause the medallion within him to be erased, thus he would be erased as well.
He managed to calm himself and answered in a confident, "Heh, no matter what kind of changes that younger version of mine goes through, he will NEVER be able to defeat me. Last time was a mere fluke, and I will make sure it never happens again.".
Clockwork merely shook his head for two reasons. One, he was annoyed that Dan still referred to Danny as his younger version. He learned of this quote eons ago and it was this: Truth does not mind being questioned, but a lie does not like being challenged. He had explained it to Dan, and he knew that Dan knew this truth too. But he stubbornly refused to heed it, and convinced himself that he and Danny were still the same even though they were not.
Second, Dan was still as arrogant and overconfident in his capabilities and power, similar to some of the spirits like Skulker and such. He still believed that he would be a match for Danny, that he would still be the same despite what was happening.
Clockwork knew better though, as per the norm. He knew what Daniel Fenton and the ladies would be like the moment they returned back to their universe… and like a certain human professor that he had recently made friends with, he would provide no spoilers for the fool that was beside him.
His thoughts were interrupted when another spirit being appeared out of the blue before them. Clockwork and Dan sighed in unison, as there was one thing that they had in common it was this… their dislike for the Observants, one-eyed specters who observed everything but vowed to not directly interfere with events that happened in the mortal and spiritual world.
The Observant went to the two, paying little attention to Dan and speaking to the spirit of time, "Clockwork, you must do something to bring Danny Fenton back to this universe! This is something that should not have happened!".
The ever-shifting of ages spirit smirked at him and stated, "Well, it did happen. Apparently, Authors are the only ones that can do anything that can take beings like me and you by surprise.". He chuckled, as this was one of the many RARE times he had been caught unware or by surprise.
Clockwork smirk soon turned into a serious neutral look and said in a tone that reflected his facial features, "Besides, even if I did have the power to bring young Daniel back, do you even think I would even try to? These Authors DJ Rodriguez, Dreams Come True 996 and LORD DESTRYUK are extremely powerful and potent beings. If I tried anything, most likely I would end up like that Deadpool character.".
He finished in the same neutral tone, "And besides, all three admitted that they all serve a higher authority… the King of Kings Himself. Do you want to stand in the way of those who serve the Father and Son?".
Both Dan and the Observant shivered in genuine, real fear at that. Just saying the title of the High One brought real fear to them, as He had power and authority of all & everything. In addition, Dan was very much evil in any and all ways. If the Son or Father should even descend to him, his very existence would be forfeit regardless if even the Time Medallion would be in him or not!
Seeing their faces of fear and hesitancy now brought great satisfaction to the spirit. Even though he commanded and kept watch of Time itself, he knew his station in the grand plan of it all. And even he was not so stupid, prideful or arrogant to ever go against the Alpha and Omega.
The Observant managed to get back to his senses, glaring at Clockwork and stating, "This turn of events is already causing a chain reaction, causing monumental consequences to happen all over the planet in the future. Surely you have seen it?".
Clockwork gave the alien-like being a deadpan look and replied, "Of course I have. I see and know everything. But I will tell you this… these consequences are going to be more good than bad, much needed change for certain areas and people. Others… they will learn to cope with it in time, effort and support.".
He then turned away and stated, "And now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to check on some things going on in the world. You two can do whatever you like.". Clockwork than faded away, like mist did on a hot summer day.
Dan grumbled angrily, "For some reason, that unique teleport thing of his just ticks me off…". He then looked at the Observant, who recoiled at seeing the evil being looking at him like a lion would find very wounded prey… a fat, helpless prey. The one-eyed alien let out a shriek before teleporting out, back to where his kind was gathered at.
The fused being smirked, liking that he still had what it took to strike fear into the hearts of others. But now annoyed, since there was nothing else to do in the realm of Clockwork.
And while all of this took place, others events were taking place in spots all over the planet Earth as certain people came back from their visit from the Author Realm.
~In Middleton, Colorado~
The Possible family were in the living room now, Ron and Monique with the group. Wade Load was on their TV screen, apparently back in his room and had been able to hack into the Possible TV set. Director Betty was also there, as she asked to be teleported with the Possibles back to their abode. Said lovely leader of the organization Global Justice had managed to contact staff at Middleton High and told them that Kim would be on a special mission assignment that would last for six or so months.
The teachers were not pleased to be missing their most top student, but even they knew that any kind of mission from that higher authority of power was not something to go against. So they put Kim on leave officially.
Everyone was soaking in the information they had just heard and seen from the first Progress Report, namely on how Danny Fenton was Danny Phantom, the mysterious ghost hero of Amity Park! Tim put in, "Wow… who knew that this Danny Fenton guy…".
Jim added in due to their twin-speak, "Was also the superhero of Amity Park!".
Their mother Ann spoke up, "That is truly a lot to take in, boys. I wonder if the young man was even treated or examined after that… incident with that portal...?". The brain surgeon of the family was a doctor at heart, not just in one specific area. So she had been curious, and also worried, if Danny had received any kind of medical check-up or something after the incident.
Her husband James put forth, "I don't think he did, honey. In fact, I don't think he has ever been examined by doctors thanks to his… ahem, parents outbursts.". The couple remembered how upset they were when they heard the part of Jack and Maddie shouting threats to him in his Phantom form. As parents, it was one's duty to love/protect/guide children, not make threats to them like so.
But after some explanation from the Fenton's, and also some aid from Dreams as well, the couple as well as some others who were also ticked at the news as well, calmed down some. They decided to give the Fenton couple some leeway… but not by much.
Ron spoke up, "Not to mention those Guys In White that Danny mentioned. I bet with kooks like that, he doesn't want to get examined.". While Ann did understand that to a degree, she still felt that the young man should be examined… but in a good, true way instead of like a test subject.
Monique looked to Wade and asked, "So Wade… do you have any ideas or such to even try to get in contact with Kim from here?".
The young African-American kid shook his head and answered, "Nope. Nothing on my end. I mean, I have dealt with various other computer systems and other top of the line tech that is used to go into different realities and such. Some complicated, some challenging. But this… this even goes beyond my own skills.".
Indeed, the young lad was telling the truth. He had gone over any kind of subject and research of traversing universes, dimensions, etc. And also trying to build something that would be able to transcend the universal barrier and connect with the Kimmunicator. But so far, no luck at all.
The alluring and potent Betty Director put forth, "We have tried as well. One of our researchers did manage to breach something… but as it turned out, it was a trap by the Destroian Empire. And the agent who volunteered in wanting to go in and see what was on the other side of the portal… oooh…". She shivered and winced at the memory.
Betty had been there when the experiment was taking place yesterday, where her tech workers were trying to find something to possibly get past the Destroian Empire's defenses and open a portal to the world where Kim Possible and the others were at.
They managed to create a portal… but as it turned out, it was a defensive trap of the Empire. And the poor agent who volunteered to cross over to see if it had worked… he had gone in the shower room where Author LORD DESTRYUK's wife, Lady Miki was at. The woman had just gotten out of the shower, and had screamed bloody murder when she saw the intruder.
The Author himself rushed into the room, saw the GJ agent… and proceeded with a beatdown that actually made the one given to Deadpool seem tame by comparison!
Everyone saw what happened through the portal viewing, many running away to throw up somewhere from seeing the intense violence. After just a few minutes, the agent was tossed back through the portal to them… looking like a human pretzel with bruises all over his form. He was alive… but it would take months, if not years for him to get back decent working order.
LORD DESTRYUK promised them all that if something like that happened again… it would be the WHOLE entire branch of Global Justice that would feel the full weight of the Empire. When it came to the safety and dignity of his wife, he was EXTREMELY serious on that. It was not a threat, but a promise.
Ron Stoppable asked the pointed question, "Well… what are you we going to do? Without Kim here, Team Possible is done! And who is going to save the world without her?!".
Director Betty looked directly at him and answered firmly, "It seems that without Kim Possible, we will need to step up our game. Global Justice was designed after all to go after criminals, and although you and Kim have proved your worth… the weight of the world should not fall on the shoulders of teenagers.".
She looked at the family and explained in a genuine sincere tone, "I know that Kim has done much on her own as an independent contractor of sort for GJ, but… one should not rely solely on a teenager and her partner for help against threats that were made for professionals to handle in the first place. I personally believe the fault lies with me, in allowing Miss Possible and Mr. Stoppable to take on dangerous assignments when they should be enjoying lives as normal teens.".
Monique put in, "Normal? Heh, I'm sorry Miss Director but… with Kim and Ron here, they like to step out of normal and do what they can to help others.". Rufus came out of Ron's pocket, nodding his head and saying in his own way that normal was not for them… and this coming from a naked mole right with higher-than-normal intelligence and motor skills, that was saying something.
The one-eyed beauty looked at the raven-haired young woman & pet/friend of Ron Stoppable and remarked, "Very true. Still… when one relies on a young lady and her friend for help while others just look on. So until Miss Possible returns, Team Possible is suspended. Or…". Her gaze fell to Ron, who was now puzzled on why she was looking at him.
The young man pointed to himself and asked, "Or what? What is it? And why are you looking at me like that?".
Betty looked to him directly and replied, "Or the Team replaces Kim Possible, and Ronald here aids the new person on various missions.".
This got some gasps from Wade, Ron and Rufus as the thought of someone replacing KP was considered sacrilege. The blonde young man exclaimed, "No way! There is no way I am going on any missions without KP by my side!".
Ann went to Ron, putting a gentle hand on his shoulder which caused him to look up at her. She said softly but with strength, "Ron, I… I really think that you should reconsider this, and actually take the second option.".
This got everyone to look at her strangely, Ron more so as he thought that Kim's mother had lost her mind. He was about to say something to her, but the leader of GJ beat him to it. She looked to Mrs. Possible and asked, "Please, elaborate on your words so that all of us can understand.".
The mature beauty nodded her head, looking to Ron and everyone else. She gathered her thoughts and courage, and explained, "Think about it everyone. Kim is in a whole new universe, and DJ and Dreams said earlier that she and the others will be able to reach their full potential there. That must mean that there is much more for Kim to learn there.".
She continued, "So when she does get back, I do not believe that she will be the same person that we all knew before she left. She will most likely have improved in almost every area.". Mr. Possible was about to say that he agreed with her, about to say the motto that anything was possible for a Possible… until Ann gazed at him, eyes hard as she shook her head to not say anything for the moment.
While she did like to encourage her daughter, sometimes she took the family motto too seriously and had grown a bit too proud of her skills and abilities'.
When he did not say anything, Ann's eyes turned to Ron and her eyes softened. She finished up while looking directly at him, "Do you think that Kim would like to see that her best male friend had improved himself while she was gone? Or that he stayed where he was, not changing at all while she improved herself immensely?".
Ron was about to automatically defend that Kim would never change, and that he would stay the same for her… but a part of his brain; the mature and logical part that sadly had been underdeveloped for years due to his lazy attitude and creed, screamed at him to really think on what Ann had just told him.
He thought, 'Kim… yeah… she would take the opportunity to improve herself. I mean, she has been improving herself ever since we grew up. She is captain of the cheer squad, straight-A student, trained to physical perfection to go on missions… she can do anything! But me… I've been letting myself go.'.
His train of thought continued at a speed and strength that was rarely used before. He finished up, 'I've just been getting by, even just barely. Clinging to Kim like a lifeline… I mean, I did do a crazy mission to make sure that she didn't blush herself out of existence… I haven't done really anything to improve myself. And… it really, REALLY pains me to admit this but… should the day come for Kim to choose in going forward with her life, or staying behind with a slacker like me… heh, no doubt what she would choose first.'.
He knew that Kim was a great friend and would never abandon him… but even he knew, feared actually, that one day Kim would have to move forward with her life. And he would be left in the dust, and all on account he didn't want to improve himself due to his lazy attitude.
Seeing the pensive, deep thought on Ron's face told everyone that he was now reconsidering his answers. To Ann's question, and also Betty's offer. Needless to say, it did spook everyone a little to see Ron in such deep thought on his own accord.
~Rockwaller Residence~
While all of this was going on at the Possible residence, there was much activity at the Rockwaller residence as well. Bonnie was in her room, talking to her best friend Tara Strong over the phone. Her older sisters Connie and Lonnie were out and about in Upperton, a more classy and high-living area north of Middleton. Her parents Mr. & Mrs. Rockwaller were on a date, and would be an hour until they got back.
Tara's father and mother were also on a date together, and of course the little lady was a single child who was very loved and cared for by her parents.
Bonnie spoke, "Tara, this is just too much! I mean, that mutant freak at that Camp Wannaweep was freaky for me! But now learning of new universes, those Author beings, all those weird people and superheroes/superheroines, Possible going to one of those crazy universes & the fact that one of them is a half-ghost hero… its making my head throb so much!". Indeed, Bonnie was having a serious migraine at the moment.
She and Tara were stunned on what they were told and shown the first time they arrived at the Author Realm, and both decided not to tell anyone about what occurred. Because seriously… who WOULD believe them? And now after seeing and hearing the first Progress Report, their minds were whirling more after finding out that the Danny Fenton kid was also Danny Phantom, the halfa hero of Amity Park!
Tara's voice came over the other line, "I know Bonnie, it… it is a lot to take in! But I believe that we need to keep this a secret. If we blab it out everyone… who knows what either DJ, Dreams, that Lord Destryuk guy or any of the other heroes or heroines we met will do to us!".
While Bonnie Rockwaller was many a thing, most of them sadly on the negative side according to many students and other people who were looked down upon by her, she was not stupid. She remarked, "Yeah, yeah. I know that Tara. And… you know… it's still weird that this DJ person brought you and me along in this. I mean, he must know how much I despise Possible.".
Miss Strong spoke up in a positive tone, "Maybe he sees potential in us, just like he saw in Danny and the others. And maybe we should prove him right on that!".
The brunette beauty had a quizzical look on her face as she inquired, "What do you mean by that, T?".
The lovely blonde who had a deep crush on Ron Stoppable answered, "Think about it B. Kim is away for six or so months, depending on how long it takes to find those Dragonball things. You can use this opportunity to improve yourself! Without her, you will be captain of the cheer squad! And also you can show to the others that you're better than your sisters!".
Connie and Lonnie had ruled Middleton High with iron fists, as it was they who started the whole Food Chain social hierarchy when they were there. Many did not like it, but no one would dare go up against the two smart and beautiful Rockwaller Sisters. They were devious, cunning, sharp of tongue and knew very much how to get their way.
While Bonnie was hot and smart in her own way, her only circle of friends were the cheerleaders and football squad. Her only REAL friend was Tara, who had the patience of a saint to deal with her willingly. Anyone else kept a distance due to her sisters' actions, and Bonnie hated to be reminded of that.
She was in thought for a moment and asked, "Do you believe that Tara? I mean, really? It's good to finally get out of Possible's shadow, but to get out from my sister's shadow…". Sad to say, Connie and Lonnie were… well, to put it delicately witches to her. Always teasing her, putting her down and calling her all kinds of names. Mr. & Mrs. Rockwaller had tried to get them to cease and desist, but even that did not do any good.
Tara answered with conviction, "I know you can do it Bonnie! I'll be helping you, and when Kim does come back… she's going to see a new and improved team, and a new and improved Bonnie Rockwaller! And an improved Tara, of course!".
The young teenage lady giggled softly, Tara's positive tone and words infectious. Deciding to tease her a little, she replied, "Heh, thanks Tara. And also, I bet that Stoppable would be amazed to see that you have improved. Maybe it will be enough for you to finally snag him.".
Bonnie could feel the heat coming from the phone, knowing that Tara was blushing badly now. She knew that Tara had an immense crush on Stoppable, but was a bit shy herself to tell him directly. And also… said young man was very dense, that most likely it would take a sledgehammer to get through his dense skull.
Miss Rockwaller did not believe that Stoppable was a good match for Tara due to his lazy attitude and laid-back plans for the future. Tara was her best friend, and thus wanted to make sure that she got the best… because she deserved the best, in her opinion. And until Stoppable actually showed some spine and started to take himself out of Kim's shadow, she would give him a hard time.
The duo continued to talk into the night, the winds of change softly blowing now over Middleton. Now it would all depend on people who would decide to heed the call…
~In Beverley Hills, California~
At Clover's home, she and Samantha were talking to Jerry via holographic communicator. The British leader of W.O.O.H.P gazed at the girls, all three still taking in what they had just witnessed in the Author's Realm. Mrs. Carmen Casoy was back at her own home, talking with her husband Dr. Casoy on the situation concerning their daughter. The blonde beauty looked to her boss and said, "Well… honestly can say that I'm surprised that this Danny guy is also Danny Phantom, that cute ghost hero I hear about in the news sometimes.".
Samantha looked to Jerry and inquired, "Jer, isn't there something you can do? Anything?". The mature British man had managed to forge some papers that looked official enough for the staff at Beverley Hills High school, telling them that Alex was chosen for a special scholarship overseas in Europe. And thus, why she would not be back for six or so months. It seemed that the documents worked, as Miss Casoy was now on leave as it were.
The leader shook his head and stated, "I am sorry girls, but ever since this whole… event started, our top scientist have not been able to get anywhere. While dimensional jumping and such is now possible, though still highly dangerous, doing something that takes someone to a completely different universe… that is another different thing altogether.".
He added, "Plus, it seems that LORD DESTRYUK's defenses are quite capable. Any time that we seem to breach something, it turns out it automatically shifts to lead to any of his General's ships. Two of our top tech officers had the… unfortunate luck of making a portal into a being known as Horruk's quarters. And even though it lasted for only a minute or so before the portal was closed up… the two seem to have gone literally insane with fear. They are being kept in an isolated ward… for how long, there is no telling.".
All three shivered/shuddered at that, Jerry more so since he was there when it happened. He and several others had the quick thinking to turn away… but the two tech officers did not have that quick a mind or reflex, and that cost them.
The trio composed themselves, the blonde beauty asking, "So… what do we do? The team is not complete anymore without Alex, and it'll be hard to go on without our best friend not here with us.". It was true, as the girls had become a great team & great friends. While they could manage with the others, it was only on the mindset that they would still be there for one another when need be.
Now with Alex gone for six or so months in a completely different plane of reality, this was now serious.
Jerry answered, "I have taken the liberty of finding a suitable replacement for Alex until she returns. Until then, you will have to do your best until she is found and placed in your team.".
Sam and Clover did not like the fact that someone would be replacing their best friend, but at least it was in the area concerning their secret jobs as spies.
The elderly man continued, "And finally this… since Alex is going to improve herself to her full potential in that new universe she is in, according to the Authors at least, we will start to push you ladies hard as well.".
Both jumped up to their feet in surprise and exclaimed at the same time in stereo, "Excuse me?!".
Jerry smirked and explained, "Until the new spy partner comes in, you will have to step up your game since you are now a duo instead of a trio. And it is that reason that you will be undergoing the next level of training. So I would get a goodnight's sleep ladies… you're going to need it.". He then signed off, the hologram vanishing while Clover and Sam looked on into space still with a dumbstruck look on their faces.
For Sam, it would mean that intense training at the agency would mean less work on her homework assignments.
And for Clover, it meant less shopping at the malls and more time at the insane obstacle courses at W.O.O.H.P! While she and her friends had completed training, it was for the basic and advance course! Now she and Sam were going to train in the courses for the experts, something they had seen only a couple of times… but the course and challenges were something that would give even Kim Possible and Batgirl a run for their money!
The duo groaned, knowing that the next six or so months were going to be torture for them.
~At Bellwood, New York~
There was an important meeting taking place now at the residence of Frank & Natalie Tennyson, the father and mother of Gwen Tennyson. Said parents were situated at a table, and with them were certain family members. Ben, his parents Carl and Sandra, semi-retired Plumber agent Max & grandmother Verdona. And among them was Kevin E. Levin, Ben's lady love Julie and her pet Ship & finally the creator of the Omnitrix itself Azmuth.
Ben started things off, "Well, at least we know that Danny is this ghost hero I kept hearing about from Amity Park. Truthfully, I always thought he was just part alien.".
Azmuth put in, "It goes to show you, young Ben, that the universe is full of surprises and things that you have yet to comprehend or understand.". While the small Galvin was considered the smartest living being in five galaxies, and quite confident in his intellect and smarts, even he still had much to learn. And something of the supernatural was still a fickle subject for him, especially the ones that were on Earth.
Frank looked to Azmuth & Max and inquired, "Look, I have to know… is there any way at all to get to this new universe and get my daughter back here?". He and Natalie really wanted their flesh and blood back, regardless of the words that the Authors had told them. And now they were looking to the experts in matters like this for a solution.
Max shook his head and answered, "No, not yet. Any and all attempts to even reach a completely new universe have ended up in failure. The alien tech experts at Headquarters tried to break through by modifying a dimensional portal generator… but they ran into some trouble.".
Kevin snorted and put in his usual snarky tone, "Ran into trouble? Ha! Try outright disaster. The Destroian Empire actually managed to set up a trap that involved dimensional travel, and this one was seriously real.".
He and Max were there when the alien engineers activated a ring-structure dimensional portal, which did turn on and seemed to be working… until they realized too late that it was a trap, which they activated. The portal sent them to the room of Lord Shadowza, a Destroian General who was the very master of the shadows. He was considered by many to be the pinnacle of perfection when it came to being a Spymaster, Shinobi Assassin & anything involving the use of darkness in ways that would leave even the most hardened of criminal scum to be quaking at the legs.
In just a span of two minutes, Shadowza entered the facility, took out the techs and security in a flash, downloaded and stored the ENTIRE Plumbers information and databank on a special drive of his & destroyed the portal device after going through it back to his quarters.
It all happened so fast, with just pure speed that left everyone dazed and confused on what just happened in that short span of time.
So now LORD DESTRYUK had all the intel on the organization and their operations… which was very bad for the Plumbers.
Azmuth answered Frank's question gruffly, "Humph. I do have some ideas and theories on how to connect and go this… Dragonball universe. However… I will not do so.".
The first part had given hope the group, but it was quickly shot down by his statement that he would not do so. Natalie stood up and exclaimed, "But… why not?! We want our daughter back!".
Verdona spoke up sternly, "There are a lot of wants in this world, young lady. But sadly we cannot always get what we want, now can we?". This made the group just look at her in surprise that she would just say something like that. The parents of Gwen were about to explode with words, but the Anodite being held up her hand to silence her words.
She explained firmly, "Know that I love my granddaughter as much as you all do, and I would love to get her back too! But… this is something that is completely outside of my authority, as well as outside the authority of even the Celestialsapiens.".
This got puzzled looks from everyone except Azmuth, Ben asking in a confused tone, "Who, or what, is a Celestialsapien?".
A familiar voice answered, "You will discover that later in time, young Benjamin.". Everyone turned to see on who it was that spoke, and emerging from thin air was Professor Paradox.
Azmuth welcomed in his usual gruff tone, "Good to see you once more, Time Lord.".
Paradox smiled at Azmuth's usual welcome, then turned to Ben and the others. He stated, "I had to come to tell you all to not pursue this any further.".
Julie asked politely, "But… why not?".
The former scientist for the U.S back during the 1950s looked to her and answered seriously, "Because doing something that would go against the higher powers is NOT a good idea. I know of my own limits despite me by a Time Lord. Mrs. Verdona here knows of her abilities', but also of her place and limits. And the Celestialsapiens, beings even higher than her, also know of their place. Without a doubt, they would NOT do anything that would impede servants of someone much more powerful than them.".
The inventor of the Omnitrix stated in the same time, "He is right. I maybe a great thinker and inventor, but even I know my own limits and my station. So while I am sorry for this, I will not help in any way to open any kind of path to this new universe.".
This caused everyone to look surprised at the information, than downtrodden that there was nothing they could to do to get Gwen back to them on their own power.
Azmuth stated in a wise tone this time, "I believe that you need to take this opportunity to grow, Ben. And this goes for all of you. We still have to deal with the Highbreed, and I believe that Gwen will return back here… but changed.".
This surprised some of the people in the group, Carl asking, "What do you mean Azmuth?".
The frog-like alien answered, "I believe it is pretty obvious to you, Carl Tennyson. To all of you. Gwen is currently in a new universe, and she will remain there for a year or so. Most likely she will be having adventures with this Daniel Fenton being, and also the other ladies that are with him. I believe she will take this opportunity to learn and grow, and from there she will change. For the better or for the worse, that all depends on so many things. But mostly on and to her.".
Professor Paradox added, "He is right. When Gwen comes back, I believe that she would be glad to see that her cousin and friends have improved themselves. And also stopped a certain plot made by the Highbreed.".
After some moments of silence, Max rose up and stated, "They are right. Gwen will return here, this I know. When she comes back is still up in the air a little. But I do know that she would want for us to push forward. She is going to do the same, and so should we!".
It seems that something has been resolved in the Tennyson family, along with their friends and allies.
~In Calgary, Alberta Canada~
At the Surfer's Paradise Ridgemount Resort Hotel, at the very top floor which is the Penthouse, a meeting of a serious kind was taking place the office of James Ridgemount. Inside said area were the family and friends of Emma, the only ones not present was Kelly and Andrew Baumer.
Emma's mother, single parent Ms. Elspie Mackenzie had been informed of the situation when it first started out, but she did not believe it. However, she was starting to come around to it when she saw Emma's friends and her employer's family just appear out of thin air like so in the front lobby. Before she or her two young sons, Lionel and Lucien, could say anything, they had been quickly scooped up by Mr. Ridgemount and all of them taken to his own private elevator which went directly to the top floor of the hotel.
Once there, he guided the entire group towards his office. However, it was difficult because on how Emma's friends and family were awestruck on how affluent the Ridgemounts really were. Lo seemed to be delighted to be back to the place she considers home, but she still was not allowed back in officially.
But for the time being, an exception was made.
When everyone was in the office and situated, James looked to everyone as he sat behind his desk. He was the first to get things rolling as he stated, "I'm sure that many of you surprised as I am on the events that happened, but we need to have a serious discussion on what we should do next.".
Reef exclaimed out of excitement, "Are you kidding me, boss?! I am more than surprised! That this Danny Fenton kid is actually Danny Phantom, a real ghost and hero! This is blowing my mind!".
Finn added in, "I hate to agree with the kook here, I really do… but I'm also blown away by this! Plus the fact that Emma is really in another universe and with some superheroes there… it is amazing!".
The whole group started to talk at once, showing on how they were really blown away in what they witnessed back at the Author's Realm. Seeing various superheroes/superheroines and other high-profile beings would do that to most people. Even Gloria, Ty and George were very much with the group in babbling on how cool it was to see people they could only see through television and/or in the newspapers.
James let out a loud AHEM sound, which got everyone to stop talking and look at him in worry. If there was one thing about Mr. Ridgemount, it was that he commanded respect and attention. Once everyone was settled down, he sat back down in his chair and looked to Elspie. He asked firmly but gently, "Ms. Mackenzie, I believe you need to speak up first.".
She did indeed as she asked, "Sir… isn't there anything you can do to get my daughter back here to us? Anything?".
The multi-billionaire had a sad look on his face as he shook his head in a negative. He answered in a solemn tone, "Sadly Ms. Mackenzie, there is nothing I can do. I am but a mere mortal, and the ones who have taken your daughter are beings of higher power and authority. And they serve someone that is much higher than them. And I believe you know whom I am talking about.".
He pointed to the small golden cross that was part of her necklace, the beautiful mature woman touching said part and letting out a small gasp before her eyes went wide with surprise.
Gloria spoke softly, "There is much that we need to tell you Ms. Mackenzie, but before we do, there is something we need to lay down first.".
James nodded and stated firmly, "We are not to tell anyone in the hotel, inside or outside of it, who Danny Fenton is.".
Broseph asked in a curious tone, "But… But why?! This is big news here!".
It was Kahuna that answered in his usual tone, "Dude, that is little dude's secret. If we go and blab it out to whole world, we could get in major wipeout with those other people that make the big boss here look small.".
James spoke once more, "He is right on that, young man. If we leaked any of this out to the public, and it is traced back to us… even I would not be able to deal with certain individuals who would be upset that we spilled such a secret.".
The others quickly started to see things now from Mr. Ridgemount's point of view. While powerful and wealthy, it was only due to his prowess in the hotel/resort business. He did not have any political muscle or savvy like some did, and also he knew his limits. Should they spill the secret of Danny, they could get the ire of any of the powerful individuals they saw at the Author's Realm… or maybe said Author's themselves!
Seeing that they understood, the hotel/resort owner looked to the perplexed faces of the Mackenzie family and stated, "Now… I believe a full and detailed explanation is needed…".
And it was into the night that Elspie and her two sons were told the tale on what they all saw and heard in the realm.
~At the Center~
At the secret facility known as The Center, the place was filled with activity. M.O.M., Gerard and Martin Mystery, Jenni Anderson, Java the Caveman and Marvin were in the officer of the potent leader, said person behind her desk. After being returned by the Authors, the group had gone to the facility to see what their next plan of action should be.
M.O.M. pressed a button on an intercom and inquired firmly, "Any luck in trying to find anything to connect to the other universe, or trying to find a weakness in either the Authors or the Author Realm?".
A pained male voice came over the speaker, "I'm sorry ma'am, but any and all attempts to find an entranceway to a whole other universe has been… less than fruitful. And also, many of the workers are threating to quit on us after another trap laid by the Sin Guard to Greed- Gareedioshia.".
Ever since the first trip from the realm, M.O.M. had put her entire staff and techs to find any kind of way to either find the Dragonball universe… or to find any kind of weakness in the Authors or DJ's realm section. And none of what she did, either by magical/mystical/technological means had worked. And the workers had been dealt with by the various members of the Destroian Empire. The latest trap was by Gareedioshia, the Sin Guard of Greed itself.
The Destroian guard had almost buried the fools who had tried to open a portal into the Author Realm, their efforts instead opening a doorway to his own Training Room. The being wrapped them in gold coins, than melted said coins to become a lump of fused golden material that wrapped several of the workers like a cocoon!
It took rescue teams some time and effort, but they were able to cut through the golden casings and free the workers. But to their surprise, once the golden material was cut… it turned into lumps of coal, which was useless to them.
M.O.M looked frustrated, and was about to say something when the caveman Java spoke, "M.O.M… you need stop.".
Everyone was looking at the prehistoric man with surprise written on their faces. M.O.M. looked coolly at the caveman and asked, "Java… why should I stop?".
The strong but loveable being answered, "You worried about Diana. I'm worried about Diana. All of us worried about Diana. But… we no match against Authors.".
Martin found the courage to add in, "Yeah! Besides, Diana is in good hands. I mean, we just learned that she is with a couple of superheroes & one of them is a half-ghost hero of his hometown!".
Jenni turned on the blonde young man, a look of fury on her face as she exclaimed, "Martin! Are you crazy?! We don't know much about this Phantom character, let alone what he is capable of! You want to risk Diana's own well-being like that?!".
It was Gerard that spoke up firmly, "We do not have a choice in the matter, young lady.". His tone was strong and cool, ceasing any kind of rant Jenni had as all looked to the father of Martin.
Mr. Mystery continued, "I am a scientist, and even I consider any of this paranormal stuff that is worked and examined in her balderdash. However… even I can acknowledge that there is something much higher, more powerful at work here. These… Authors have capabilities and such that go beyond even science. And these three show that they are not deities, but merely servants of one. And… as painful as it is for me to say this due to my beliefs… just have to go on faith on this one.".
Everyone was very much stunned to hear the words coming from the man, even M.O.M. was a bit surprised to hear his words & confession.
After some silence and internal debate, M.O.M. sighed and acknowledged in a reluctant tone, "As painful as it is for me to say this… you are right Mr. Mystery. I believe that we just have to put faith and trust in these Authors, as well as in this Danny Phantom character and the other girls to keep Diana safe.".
Martin than looked to have a brilliant idea, his face showing a smile as he declared, "Hey! How about we look up first any kind of info on Danny Fenton? I mean, the kid is also Phantom so how about we look up his past exploits? We did talk to his parents and friends at that realm place, but maybe there is something we may have missed from them.".
The young man was also thinking if perhaps he could find out more about the hot girl ghosts that was also present at the Progress Report, especially Desiree since it seemed he was a bit smitten to see her.".
Java agreed with his friend, "Martin right. We look for something on Fenton guy. Maybe we get lucky?".
M.O.M. looked thoughtful for a moment, then came to a decision. She looked to Jenni and Marvin and stated, "You two, you are to head to Amity Park as soon as possible. Find anything you can concerning Danny Fenton, and also his alter-ego Danny Phantom.".
The duo nodded, though Jenni looked to be ecstatic at being paired up with Marvin. The leader of The Center looked to Martin & Java and finished up, "Since Diana will not be coming back for six or so months, this means that you two have to step it up. I will see if I can assign a new temporary replacement partner to assist you in your future missions. Until than… you WILL take the opportunity to improve yourselves while Diana is on leave, so to speak.".
This got the duo very much surprised, but they knew that this was needed. Until Diana returned & when they got a new partner to assist them on missions, they would have to now do their best. Gerard was still sour about the whole affair, especially when he had to admit that there was something that went beyond any kind of science and common sense that he very much stuck to like crazy glue.
And he, along with many others, would soon learn that indeed… there was still many things that went beyond the scope of science, common sense and nature.
~At Greendale, California~
At the Spellman house, several beings came forth. However, unlike some others, they were used to traveling through portals and other means of teleportation. Hilda and Zelda Spellman, the aunts of Sabrina, sat down on the couch in the living room. Salem Saberhagen made himself comfortable on one of the chairs nearby. Ms. Magrooey & Mr. Snipe conjured up some chairs with their magic, while Queen Enchantra opted to remain standing.
Sabrina's best friend Maritza was sent back home, but her memories were still intact on what had occurred in the Author's Realm. DJ had warned them to not mess with her mind, least he would come to deal with them personally if he ever found out.
In addition, Sabrina's absence would be taken care of. At the magical school, it was told on what happened to her. Needless to say, Sabrina's absence would be the talk of the realm for some time to come. Ms. Magrooey & Mr. Snipe would continue to inform the other students on the Progress Reports from DJ and Dreams.
At the mundane school, Sabrina's absence was explained to be the result of transferring to an out of country school as part of an exchange program. The other student would be a disguised Salem, whom leapt at the chance to be a human… even though he would be a human teenager, and it would only be from the start and ending of school.
Hilda was the first to speak as she stated in a slightly surprised tone, "Well, I have to say I was blown away by the fact that this Danny Fenton kid is really the halfa hero I have been hearing in the Supernatural News Network. I mean, who would have thought that a mortal could also be part ghost?".
Zelda added in, "Don't forget about this Vlad Masters person. All that time, there was a halfa around for that long and we didn't even know about it.". The various supernatural beings there prided themselves to learn about any kind of other beings that went beyond the natural realm. To learn that not only had mortals succeeded in breaking through to the realm known to many as the Ghost Zone, though they knew the real name of the place, but also that there was two beings that defied their normal definition of being a spirit.
Salem had an aggravated look on his face as he declared, "I said it before, and I will say it again! Mortals and the supernatural just should not mix.". He was convinced that mortals and supernatural beings should be separated for many reasons, and it looks like he found another one.
Ms. Magrooey looked to Enchantra and inquired, "Your Highness, what do you think we should do? Should we try more attempts to bring Sabrina back to us?".
The powerful witch and ruler of the Witches' Council sighed and answered, "No… I believe it is at this point that we need to cease any and all actions in trying to find a way to make a portal to the new universe where Sabrina is at.".
This surprised many of them, for they did not know at any time when Enchantra would give up at anything. She had always managed to find a solution to problems in the past, and assumed that she would be able to now. Mr. Snipe asked, "Is it about the numerous times we have tried to make a portal to this… Dragonball universe, and failed?".
She nodded, recalling the times this past week alone on how her fellow witches and warlocks tried to find a way… but all ended in failure. Their latest failure was just last night, where five warlocks managed to create a portal… but it was instantly transferred to one of the many rooms within the Destroian Empire's ship!
This time, they had the unfortunate timing of interrupting a romantic evening between the Magikra & Barbara. The ultimate magic wielder of the Empire had set up a romantic dinner date with his wife, and all was going well… until the portal popped up, and the duo were staring at the five warlocks on the other side, who looked very much puzzled on what their attempts had done.
Magickra was royally TICKED off, and rushed towards the portal at speeds that truly exceeded anything they had known even by supernatural means!
The being unleashed total devastation and mayhem on the five warlocks, both physically and magically. He utilized elemental attacks in his attacks, and also countered anything magical they threw at him at three times the speed and power! It was a massacre at best, and it happened in the span of only three minutes!
When the dust cleared, the five magical men looked they had just gotten out of a brawl with a horde of dragons. Magickra warned them that if they tried anything like that ever again, he would not be so NICE to them. He then went back through the portal, closing it behind and seeing if he could salvage the date he had with his lady love.
The warlocks had been given treatment, but it would be about a month or so for them to get back on their feet… and that was with the many magical healing items and spells that was more effective than the mundane way!
Enchantra spoke in a serious but tired tone, "I am afraid that this is truly out of the scope of both my power and authority. These Authors have capabilities and powers that truly exceed my own, and yet they call themselves servants to a higher power. And I believe you all know of whom I speak of.".
The warlocks and witches there all shivered, as they knew exactly whom Enchantra was speaking of. They had met various deities and such in their lifetime, and visits to the Netherworld… but there was one that stood above all of them, and they did not ever want to mess with the Living Water.
Zelda spoke, "She is right. As powerful as any of us are, even combined we would not have a chance. Not any.".
The ruler of the Witches' Council nodded and stated, "So for now until Sabrina returns, we must wait and have faith that she will return to us unharmed.".
So the Spellman's and teachers would have to wait for six or so months until the little blonde half-witch would return. But something did nag in the minds of the aunts and Salem. In each of their heads was this very thought, 'DJ said that all of the ones sent over there will reach their full potential. Is it… Is it possible that Sabrina has more potential than we even thought?'.
They would be surprised when the time came to see the heights Sabrina would reach after her time in the world of Dragonball!
~At Watchtower-II~
In the many layers of atmosphere above Earth was an impressive piece of work that was called the Watchtower II. It was designed by Wayne Industries, in combination with various other craftsmanship of various beings that were part of the Justice League. It was made to be like its namesake, a tower that would be able to detect the presence of any unknown alien design or life-form.
The Watchtower-II was equipped with plenty of sensors, weaponry and more that made it into quite the formidable fortress. And also, it served as a base and home for many other heroes & heroines that they had recruited. Some had super powers, others did not but had the spirit and skill of a true hero that was not to be underestimated.
Right now, the Core Members were using the Meeting Room. Said members were Flash, Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter and Wonder Woman. With them was Zatanna, Kent Nelson a.k.a. Dr. Fate and Hawkgirl, even though she was not in her heroine attire.
Jonathan and Martha Kent were returned to their home in Smallville, Lois Lane being sent back to her apartment in Metropolis. Commissioner Gordon and Robin were sent back to Gotham City.
Dr. Fate spoke up first, "I must say, these Authors are truly the real deal. I have met many powerful individuals throughout many worlds, realms and lifetime… but these three are honestly on a whole new level.". The others who were not present at the first meeting of DJ, Dreams and Destryuk, were skeptical about the whole thing. But now after their first visit to the Author Realm, all of them were convinced of everything.
Batman looked towards the potent mystic and asked in a serious tone, "How is Amazo doing Dr. Fate?".
Said being answered in tired tone, "He is repairing himself… but it will still take time.".
Shayera added in an amazed tone, "I still can't believe that anyone would be able to defeat him so easily, even with all of the powers he had.".
Shortly after their first meeting with DJ and Dreams, Batman and Superman had gone to Dr. Fate. They had asked him if he knew anything about the Authors, and if there was a way to get Supergirl and Batgirl back to them from the other universe. The mystic master had answered that he heard of them, but never had the opportunity to actually see them in the flesh and blood.
It appears that Authors were very much powerful to stay hidden if they wished to not be seen or found, unless they wanted to. He would also do his best to also locate the new universe that the duo heroes had mentioned… but that turned out to be disastrous.
Using his mystical powers and cantations, Nelson was able to create an inter-universal portal… but the location was instantly changed to go towards one of the Destroian rooms on the Empire's ship! His portal appeared to show one of the Training Rooms, and showed the Destroian General- Solarosia teaching his three young children on how to properly handle weapons. The three young ones were his two sons, Herman and Edward, and the youngest was a daughter named Lulu.
Seeing an intruder/interloper from an unauthorized portal had the father come to the defense of his children, rushing in to attack Dr. Fate!
Amazo had rushed in to defend his friend… but even the potent machine android built by nanotechnology by Professor Ivo was no match for the Light Destroian being! In the span of just five minutes, Amazo was beaten down and reduced to nothing more than nanochip dust! This had Dr. Fate, his lovely wife Inza and Shayera who also witnessed the brief but amazing battle, look on in wonder and awe. Not to mention a bit frightened at seeing the very powerful android being decimated like so.
Solarosia spoke that Amazo was intact, and would regenerate in time. But he gave a warning that any more intrusions like so, especially ones that put his family at risk… he would not be so lenient. He then sent the pile of nano-dust to the trio, and the portal closed.
Back at the present, Dr. Fate looked to Batman and inquired, "And how about you? Anything you managed to achieve on your end?".
The Dark Knight answered in his usual serious tone, "No, nothing. Any kind of bug I tried to put on there immediately shorted out. Even all of my hardware tech in my cowl could not do anything within there.".
Flash called out, "Okay, everyone! Look, just time out here! Instead of all this spy talk and such, how about we talk about what we just heard and saw in DJ's Progress Report about the others in that new universe they are in?". Normally, most remarks and such by him would be ignored, given his nature and all. But it was rare times when Flash had his moments where his words were heeded.
Green Lantern put in, "I hate to say it, but Flash here has a point.".
Wonder Woman remarked, "Agreed. I have to say that I was curious on why this Danny Fenton boy was chosen, and it seems that we now know. Still… for someone to be alive yet a spirit as well, I have never heard of such a thing.". She had seen, and mostly fought with, many kinds of supernatural creatures and beings. But this was indeed a first for her.
Superman commented, "Yes, and also how he was made like so. Just glad that Lois decided to not to reveal his identity in the paper.".
The alluring reporter, and the one Superman was in love with, had been told by Superman himself to not reveal Danny's secret identity in her report. The sassy and strong-willed reporter was hesitant, as it was a big scoop indeed, but even she had common sense and also a sense of honor. So she promised to not reveal Danny's secret… but would write in on how he did manage to defeat Vicky, by changing things around slightly.
Her story on Danny and the ladies travel to the new universe had been the hottest thing for some time, and already many were starving for any kind of new info. So she would be doing a side-story concerning the Fenton's and the many kinds of supernatural activity that surrounded Amity Park.
Batman admitted hesitantly, "This is news for me. I do keep tabs on most places for any kind of meta-human or supernatural activity, but Amity Park was never on my list.". The Caped Crusader of Gotham City had prided himself on being capable of knowing just about everything, but this was a bit embarrassing for him since Amity Park did not register much on his radar since it was not heavily populated or popular by many standards.
Martian Manhunter inquired in his usual tone, "So, what should our next course of action be?".
Green Lantern put in, "Well, the Ring Guardians are not going to get involved in this one. After experiencing a frightening encounter with the one of those Destroian Generals, they decided to not to interfere. Also, they stated that they know about the Authors and do not wish to make an enemy out of any of them at all.".
Dr. Fate added in a serious tone, "The various deities I know will not aid me here. When I told them the situation, they stated that they will not go up against the servants of the Father and Son. Believe me when I say this, they were very much afraid…". The mystical powerhouse had never seen the various divine beings so serious, or fearful.
Wonder Woman said, "I can see if I can find anything on Themyscira.". She knew that her homeland specialized in combat and certain arts, but not on anything that had to do with the outside world. And most likely, never had to deal with universal travel or situations. But she had to least try to find something to aid her fellow JL members.
Batman added in, "I will look more into the history of this Vlad Masters person. If he did acquire his vast fortunes due to him using his ghost power, than perhaps I can do something about it. Maybe even occupy his time so that he can leave Danny's parents alone.". He internally admitted that he was often curious on how someone that was once a washed-up college student could have risen up the ranks of wealth swiftly. However, Bruce's focus was often on those that went big to the public such as Lex Luthor, so he did set aside the mystery of Vlad frequently.
But now it seemed that it was time to finally learn more about the person who now was much more than meets the eye.
The Dark Knight also made a mental note to make a visit to the Fenton's personally in his civilian persona, under the guise that he was sent by the League to investigate their lab & Fenton Portal. And see on which others he could bring along to aid in the endeavor to both check out the things the parents of Danny made… and also to perhaps protect them from certain individuals, such as Vlad & also CADMUS.
Superman finished up, "I'll see if I can find or do anything at my Fortress. I just hope that there is something there that can we can use to bring Kara and Barbara back…". His second home, the Fortress of Solitude that was built underneath the Arctic tundra. It housed various alien animal species that he had saved from an intergalactic collector named the Preserver. And also equipment that he had taken from Brainiac's ship the first time he emerged, a majority of the spacecraft decimated by him but he managed to salvage some parts of it.
The exotic beauty Shayera spoke in a worried tone, "Everyone, look… I know that you all want to do your best to try and get Kara and Barbara back. But… I think this is one time that we cannot do anything about it. These Authors, the Destroian Empire… they are like nothing we have encountered before, and many of the Destroian beings are strong. Maybe even stronger than Superman or Darksied.".
That got them surprised, as the two mentioned beings were indeed the strong… VERY much strong.
Dr. Fate stood up from his chair and added, "I agree with her. So while we all will do what we can, I advise this. Do NOT make an enemy of the Authors or the Destroian Empire. Do not push your luck here, and for once… have some faith in something that is beyond your grasp.".
He created a portal, he and Hawkgirl going through it and vanishing. The various members now looked to one another, pondering the words of the former & current JL members. Batman made a mental note to let Commissioner Gordon and the others in Gotham City be kept abreast of the situation and what was being said & done now.
~At New York City, New York~
Much activity was happening in the Avenger's Building, the headquarters of the famous team of superheroes that consisted of legends. In a large meeting room were many kinds of unique legends; Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man, legendary super soldier Captain America, Thor Odinson the Norse god of thunder and lighting, Hank Pym a.k.a. Giant-Man and Ant-Man, Janet Van Dyne a.k.a Wasp, legendary archer Clint Barton a.k.a. Hawkeye, genius in certain scientific fields & gamma-powerhouse Bruce Banner a.k.a. the Hulk & finally the formidable fighter and ruler of the fabled land Wakanda T'Challa a.k.a. Black Panther.
Among them were other superheroes such as Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four & Lydia Hardy.
Tony Stark had briefed everyone that was not present at any of the first two visits to the Author Realm on what was going on, and also the current situation. Needless to say, certain ones were impressed that such beings existed and also they had this kind of power. Plus the fact that a certain teenage boy was revealed to be a superhero of a very unique kind.
Clint whistled and put in, "So this Danny kid and thirty other girls are sent to a whole new universe, a new plane of reality, and they have to stay there for a year or so until they find these Dragonballs so they could be wished back here? I have to say, I have heard some really crazy plans. But this one… this is easily in my Top Ten book of craziness.".
Janet added, "Not to mention that said kid is also a halfa; half-human and half-ghost & also a superhero in his hometown. I mean, I always thought that to be a ghost is to be completely dead!".
Thor stated, "Aye. I have seen many different beings, here and also in my travels around the various realms. But I have never heard of someone being a mortal, yet having the powers and abilities' of a spirit.".
Steve Rogers thought out loud, "I wonder if Nick Fury knows of this Danny Phantom, or any of the on-goings at this Amity Park place.". He was curious if the leader of S.H.E.I.L.D (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division) had any info concerning the young man that seemingly was the center of everything that was occurring.
Ben Grimm a.k.a. the Thing remarked, "Ha! If I know Nicky-boy, he probably has no clue. He only goes after big fishes and such, doesn't pay attention to the small fries that are around the world.".
Lydia Hardy looked to the group and asked in a firm tone, "Enough of this… Danny Fenton or Phantom character! I just would like to know if anything can be done to get my Felicia back!".
Spider-Man added, "Yeah! I mean, you all have something that can help, right?".
Reed Richards a.k.a. Mr. Fantastic was in thought and suggested, "I could see if I can try to locate this new universe with my interdimensional devices. But it would have to be recalibrated, since we are dealing with entirely new universes. Not just dimensions.".
The muscular god of Asgard added, "I shall go back to Asgard and ask if Heimdall can aid in this endeavor. He may be able to help since he knows much about traveling to other realms.".
Tony Stark put in, "I'll go and check on the Fenton family. I would like to see on how they are taking all of this, not to mention check out their tech. Especially that Fenton Portal of theirs. Also, will look up anything on this Vlad Masters guy.".
Truth be told, Mr. Stark did not pay attention to other rich folk that preferred to not be in the spotlight. He did wheel and deal with others that made their vast fortunes in other businesses, minus the weapon industry after a certain incident that left him in critical condition & now having him use a reactor to keep some shrapnel from getting into his heart.
But now he had to step lightly in his investigation, since this Vlad person also had supernatural powers and that was how he made his fortune from.
Bruce Banner, now in his human form since the Hulk did not wish to partake in meetings like so, pointed out something they were missing… or leaving out. He asked in a serious tone, "I hate to be a killjoy here, I really do. But… do you think this is a good idea?".
When all eyes were on him, the scientific genius of the group explained, "You saw what the Destroians did to Deadpool, and that guy is crafty… as well as annoying, as they come. And he is supposed to be resilient like Wolverine, given that he has a healing factor like him. And he was beat down like it was nothing, and that was just by one of them.".
This got the group to thinking, especially those that really knew the capabilities of the Merc With A Mouth. T'Challa took this opportunity to speak in his usual serious and composed tone, "He is correct. We have truly no ideas of the capabilities of these Authors, the Destroian Empire or the powers/technology they hold. I would advise caution here. Myself… I would rather not get on their bad side.".
The ruler of the potent nation in Africa was confident in his people and technology, but he truly did not have an understanding of the Authors or the Destroian Empire. And he learned some time ago that not knowing much of an opponent was dangerous, as well as the lesson to not be too hasty in making someone an enemy IF they could be your ally.
Ms. Hardy stood firm and remarked coolly, "Black Panther, this is my daughter we are talking about here. Her life could be at risk here.".
Steve Rogers called out to her to get the woman's attention and replied, "It's not just your daughter's life that is at stake, Ms. Hardy. And also… I think that perhaps, we should let this play out.".
Seeing the many wide-eyes and stunned looks from the people in the room, the Super Soldier spoke firmly, "Look everyone, I remember back in the days when they were lives in the balance. And I did my best with my fellow soldiers to make sure that everyone got out of danger. But… even I knew I could not save everyone, so I just had to rely on faith that they would make it out okay on their own. And I think that is what we need to do here.".
The blonde man recalled on many a mission where he had to save civilians from various cities during hot battle spots in World War II. And while he and his crew did do their best… sometimes, they were forced to retreat when things got too rough or the civilians told them to go, to save themselves. And while it was not in his nature to leave anyone behind, sometimes Steve was forced to leave and just have faith that the others would come out okay somehow.
The veteran of many battles looked to the group and finished up, "We have always gone up against various powerful beings and such, but this one seems to be truly out of our league. And I really believe that this Danny person can look after all of them while they are there.".
The mother of Felicia could not believe what she is hearing, but she sees that some of the heroes & heroines were mulling over his words, considering them to a certain degree.
Hank Pym inquired, "Should we let SHIELD know about this? Maybe they can help…".
Tony shook his head almost immediately and replied with conviction, "Nuh-uh, bad idea! If SHIELD gets hold of this information concerning DJ and the Authors, or this Destroian Empire, most likely he do something that will blow up in all of our faces. You know how well SHIELD does when it comes to stuff like this.".
Everyone in the room agreed with that one. Nick Fury and his entire staff were known to contain problems, but also in creating them in the first place. In addition, they were not known for their finesse and subtle tact that was needed in situations like so.
Clint suggested, "I think we need to do what we can, and if it's not enough… just have to go with Steve on this one, and just let it all play out.".
While this all got others talking, Lydia was very much set on trying to get her flesh and blood back… and she was willing to go to such people like Nick Fury to see if he could be of help, if the Avengers were not going to be useful to her.
~At Tremorton, U.S.A~
Nora Wakeman was sitting on the couch, with guests Brad & Tuck Carbunkle and Sheldon Lee with her. The four were going over what was shown to them in DJ's Progress Report, and to say they were surprised was an understatement. Brad was the first to speak, "Wow! Who would have thought that kid Danny was actually that ghost hero Danny Phantom?!".
Tuck added, "Yeah! I mean, someone who is alive but has ghost powers like that! That is cool!".
Sheldon remarked, "Yeah, yeah. He's a halfa, big whoop! The real question is on how we can get Jenny back to us! Nora, any luck with your inventions to get her back?".
The mother of Jenny shook her head and answered in a tired tone, "No, not yet Sheldon. I have made many great inventions in the past, but this ones seems to be out of my field of expertise. My specialty is robotics, not interdimensional or universal travel.".
While the scientist was proud of her works and accomplishments, even she knew of her limits. And the situation in meeting the Authors and the Destroian Empire was something that truly went beyond her abilities on many levels! But, she was willing to get out of her comfort zone to try and build something that would try to locate and bring back her daughter.
The tall red-haired young man spoke up, "Well… I know this sounds a bit crazy but… why not just have faith in this Danny guy to take care of Jenny? I mean, there is not much we can do about this at all.".
Sheldon quickly rushed to Brad, soon holding him by the shoulders and shaking him violently. He exclaimed in an angered tone, "ARE YOU NUTS?! YOU WANT TO LEAVE JENNY IN THE HANDS OF SOMEONE… NO, SOMETHING THAT WE HAVE IDEA ABOUT AT ALL!?".
Brad tried to answer, but his words were being jumbled around thanks to Sheldon's shaking. It was thanks to Tuck, who intervened by biting the leg of Mr. Lee which prompted him to stop shaking Brad and now yelping as he hopped on his remaining good leg.
The older Carbunkle sibling looked to his brother and said, "Thanks for the save, Tuck. Now look, I'm worried about Jenny as well. But let's face it, we aren't in a position to do anything. And even if we did… do you really want to end up like that guy they just showed us earlier?".
This made Nora and Sheldon, who had stopped in mid-hop, pause and remember what the Destroian did to Deadpool. The duo shivered, not wanting to be on a receiving end like he did.
Tuck put in, "Big bro's right. Right now, all we can do is wait and have faith that Jenny will return to us in one piece.".
The words of the small child did not sit well with Nora and Sheldon, but even they knew that his words had weight to it. After some time, Miss Wakeman sighed and stated, "I will continue to go ahead with the invention I had in mind to try and bring her back. But… if it does not work, than I will not attempt any further.".
Sheldon looked very stunned at this, and the techno-geek was about to say something when Nora gave him a glare that shut him up fast. She added in a serious tone, "And furthermore, I do NOT want either of you to blab anything to anyone on where Jenny is or on this Danny Fenton boy! The last thing we need right now is more trouble!".
The three lads knew where she was getting at. If word got leaked out that Jenny was really gone for six or so months, this would cause their enemies to emerge quickly and start to wreak havoc on their town! Also, blabbing out the secret identity of Danny would no doubt cause the other heroes & heroines whom them met in the Author Realm to find where the leak came from… and to deal with it, their imaginations running wild on who would come to deal with them & how.
The scientist shook her head slightly and stated, "It seems that we all need to do our best, and also to improve our game until Jenny returns back. So… it's up to us to keep our town safe.".
This caused the three boys to look at her in shock, as she was right. With Jenny gone, it was now up to them to tackle any kind of problems that came their way! Brad, Tuck and Sheldon gulped as they knew their usual lives were about to get more serious and dangerous than ever!
~In unknown part of U.S.A.~
Abigail Lincoln was in the headquarters of the Sector V Treehouse, the giant makeshift clubhouse that was literally IN the house of Nigel Uno a.k.a. Numbuh 1. Originally, she had been returned back to her home with her folks and grandparents after returning from the Author Realm. However, at entering her room, she was called by her leader to come to the treehouse to give them a report on what happened. So with tired reluctance, due to it being so late, she got out of bed and went to the headquarters. She didn't have time to get dressed in her pajamas, so she went in her usual clothing.
Upon arriving, she was met with her friends that consisted of Nigel Uno, Hogarth 'Hoagie' P. Gilligan Jr. a.k.a. Numbuh 2, Kuki Sanban a.k.a. Numbuh 3 & Wallabee 'Wally' Beetles a.k.a. Numbuh 4. With them were others; Rachel T. McKenzie a.k.a. Numbuh 362- Supreme Leader, Fanny Fulbright a.k.a. Numbuh 86 and Numbuh 74.239, one of the scientists of the KND. He insisted on coming, which made 362 suspicious on why someone from the tech side wanted to know about what was going on with the Lincolns, but she relented and allowed him in.
They were now in the Briefing Room, the agents/operatives of the Kids Next Door organization looking at Abigail as she finished giving her report on what she witnessed from the first Progress Report. Hoagie commented, "Wow! So this Danny Fenton guy is really Danny Phantom, that halfa hero I heard about in those Internet news clips? Man, that is something…".
Kuki smiled and exclaimed, "Yeah! I would like to see him, both his regular and Phantom form! I hope he is cute!".
Wally looked to the Supreme Leader and asked, "Any of you know this Danny guy? Was he a KND agent before he got decommissioned?".
Rachel shook her head and answered, "No, not at all. He wasn't a KND agent at all. In fact, doubt if he even knows of us.". While their organization was spread far and wide, even into space, they were not everywhere. And so many kinds of young ones were spared from their reach, growing up and living without any kind of knowledge of the KND.
Fanny exclaimed in her usual tone, "I don't see why we are even interested in any of this! These are teenagers we're talking about! Some of them almost adults! This isn't any of our business!".
Numbuh 74.239 shook his head and stated, "I disagree on that. We have to know more about these so-called Authors and what they are capable of. And if they pose a threat to the KND!". He also had another reason to investigate more into the matter, but he had to keep a low-profile… least anyone catch wind of his true intentions or on how much he really knew.
Nigel agreed with Fanny with his words, "I agree with Fanny here. It is unfortunate that Abby's sister has been taken, but it really is not our concern since she is a teenager.".
The African-American girl got up from her seat, going to Nigel and Fanny who were together. The duo looked in puzzlement since they could not see her facial expressions due to the brim of her hat obscuring it… until the young lady let out a shout, and punched Nigel in the face hard dead-center! He let out a yelp of pain as he was decked, and Fanny soon followed when she was decked too by her!
The KND members gasped in shock at what Abigail just did, going to their fallen comrades and asking if they were okay. Nigel and Fanny held their noses, which were bruised but thankfully not bleeding. The leader of Sector V was about to exclaim on why she did that… until they all saw her face, which showed anger and some tears coming out from them.
She stated with firmness and conviction with a touch of anger in her tone, "You listen to me, Nigel and Fanny! Cree maybe a pain the butt sometimes, but she is my SISTER! My FAMILY! I know we fight a lot, but despite that she is blood!".
Abigail continued on, "I know we have had gone on missions, running into her and some of the other crazy adults and teens we fought! But after all is said and done, we still care about one another! And I care about her, you understand that?!".
The kids scuttled back, never having seen this side of Miss Lincoln before. She had gotten mad on some occasions yes… but this was different here, and they could feel it.
Numbuh 5 looked to the scientist and asked in a dangerous tone, "Numbuh 74.239, think you and those geeks in your division can come up with something to try and find my sister and bring her back here?".
The red-headed boy thought on it for a moment and answered, "Well… can't honestly give an answer to that. We have never made something to try and reach other universes before, especially ones that are on a different plane of reality. But we can at least try. I just hope that we don't end up like that adult you told us that got seriously messed up by those Destroian beings.".
She accepted that, and really hoped that they could do it. But they had to be careful, least they raise the ire of those Destroians led by Author LORD DESTYRUK. And Abigail had a feeling that not even the full might of the KND would be able to even put a dent in any of the Destroian beings, let alone their entire empire.
She turned around, heading towards the door. However, she stopped but her back was still turned to her fellow operatives and their leader. Miss Lincoln spoke once more, "Nigel, Fanny… you two better have an apology ready for me before I even think of coming back on missions. Cree maybe an enemy and such… but she is MY sister, MY family. Let that sink into your thick heads and actually think on that.".
Abigail than went out the door, slamming it and making her way to her room so she could be transported back to her home. As she left, she actually did a little prayer and asked, "Lord, please look after my sister. I hope that she is doing good. She maybe a pain to me and the group… but she is still my sister. So please look after her.".
~In Metroville, California~
There was much activity in the home of Edna Mode, greatest fashion designer to many a superhero & superheroine. In her house was Bob Parr a.k.a. Mr. Incredible, the lovely Helen Parr a.k.a. Mrs. Incredible/Elastigirl, Dash Parr a.k.a. Crimson Blur, Lucius Best a.k.a. Frozone & Special Agent Rick Dicker. Shortly after being returned to their homes from the Author Realm, the Parr family went towards Edna's abode. Jack-Jack was still asleep, and the place being looked after by Lucius's wife who had come over to babysit the family while they were gone.
Lucius thanked his wife for the help, and promised to really treat her out on the town before going to follow the Parr's to Edna's house as well. Agent Dicker also left to go to the fashionista's house, knowing that the Supers were heading there.
Once they were all there, they got situated in the living room so they could talk on what had just transpired from seeing and hearing the Progress Report.
Dash looked over to Rick and asked, "Say, did you know that Danny was also the ghost hero?".
The elderly man shook his head and answered, "No, I did not. Even though the National Super's Agency looks into various other beings with powers, we don't have the resources to pay attention to EVERYTHING. Amity Park is quite isolated to our standards, and it falls into the supernatural category, which is outside my expertise.".
It was true, as the agency was more focused on more famous superheroes/superheroines than just places where ghosts and such supernatural phenomena, quickly dismissing the area as they believed it was more suited for tabloid papers and such.
Helen looked to Edna and asked, "Edna, did you know about him?".
The small but potent woman answered in her usual tone, "Of course not, darling. This Danny character never even came to me. Believe me, if he did, I would design something much more fashionable than that hazmat latex suit he wears.".
Bob held up his hand, getting everyone's attention as he spoke seriously, "While all of this is interesting news and such, I'm more concerned for my daughter. Rick, is there anything that can be done to try and get her back? Any new invention or perhaps a device confiscated by a super villain that can be of some help to us?".
Mr. Dicker answered in a tired tone, "Honestly Bob, I don't know. We have confiscated many items and inventions by many super villains and villainesses, but I highly doubt that any of them can do anything that can traverse into a whole new universe. And even if we did, it would take someone with higher authority than me to even authorize its use.".
Lucius put in, "And Bob, you're forgetting about one thing. The Authors and the Destroian Empire. Those guys seems to be the real deal, and even though I would do almost anything for Violet, even I know my limits. And I doubt that my powers is a match for any of them.".
Edna added in, "He is right, Robert. These Authors and Destroians are like nothing we have ever encountered before, and the mess they made of that man called Deadpool… I have heard of him, and even though he is a nutcase of the highest level, he is quite formidable. So I doubt that you or Helen here can take on just one of them, let alone all of them.".
This got some silence from the group, as the gravity of the situation was upon them. After some time, Dash asked in a nervous tone, "So… what do we do?".
Rick answered, "Well, at least we will not have to worry about Violet's education status.". It was true, as the special agent had managed to come up with a cover plan for the Parr family. They had informed the school that Violet would be engaged in an exchange program, and would be unavailable for six or so months. This had the school perplexed, but they did buy it.
Lucius put in, "And I think all we can do little man is to have faith and hope that Danny can take care of Violet and the others. That they find all of these Dragonballs and make the wish to come back home. Though I take it that Violet is not going to be the same when she does come home.".
The Parr family looked to the African-American ice-themed hero in surprise, Helen asking, "What do you mean by that Lucius?".
Mr. Best answered, "Well, think about it everyone. She is in a totally different universe, with different people and also going to reach her full potential, according to DJ, in a way that is unknown to even us. And that she is going to stay there a year or so until they find those spheres. Do you really think she is going to be the same person she was when she was taken?".
The whole group now saw what Lucius was getting at, and even though Bob and Helen didn't want to admit it… he was right. The ice-themed hero saw the pained looks on the faces of his friends, reaching out to them and saying, "Hey… just have positive hope and faith here, everyone. She'll come back… and better than before, I bet.".
~At Edmonton, Alberta Canada~
At the Masterson residence, a meeting was taking place there. Ms. Emma Masterson & her eldest daughter Courtney were in the living room with Caitlin Cooke, Nikki Wong, Jude Lizowski, Wyatt Williams, Jonesy Garcia and Coach Halder. Like the others, they were discussing on what had occurred after being sent back from the Author's Realm.
Courtney stated with excitement, "I can't believe that we got to see all of those superheroes and superheroines! Oh, I am so glad I got pictures of them on my phone!".
Caitlin added in with delight, "Oh yeah! That was just awesome! Though… kinda weirded out by those two funny kids with red noses. Especially the one with the red hat and blue shirt.". She had gotten hit on by Wakko… who after seeing her, had hearts in his eye as malleted himself on the head due to seeing such beauty.
Nikki interrupted them, "Excuse me, how about we get to the fact that this Danny guy is actually a superhero? And a halfa, something that is half-human and half-ghost!".
Jude put in his usual tone, "What is amazing is that something like that exists. I always thought that, well, when you're a ghost it means you're dead. Never thought someone can still be alive and a ghost.".
Jonesy added in, "Dude has a point. I mean, if something is a ghost, that means that it's all dead. But now…".
He was interrupted by Wyatt who stated, "Sorry to stop this kind of conversation, but we got a more pressing matters at hand. Like the fact that we know a superhero's secret identity!".
Coach Halder put in, "Not to mention how we can explain Miss Masterson's absence. I mean, I know I can as I can tell others that she was let go. But what about you, Ms. Masterson?".
Emma answered, "I have long since sent a letter to Jen's school, telling her that she was sent away to an exchange program. Not the best kind of excuse I had, but they seemed to buy it. So as far as the school is concerned, she is studying abroad.".
Miss Wong stated in her usual tone, "Okay, that is taken care of. And now…". Everyone looked to Jude, the blonde skateboarder wondering why they were looking at him… than realized on why. He was terrible at keeping secrets, and now had just learned a big one, which was Danny's alter-ego form!
Nikki got up out of her seat and walked to Jude, grabbing him by the collar and keeping a firm grip on him. She looked at him dead in the eyes and stated in a threating tone, "Listen up Lizowski, and listen good. I know you are terrible at keeping secrets, but you're going to have to TRY on this one! If you blab to anyone about Danny's secret, and those super-powered people find out and trace it back to us, not going to the mall or skateboard will be the LEAST of your worries!".
Her gaze turned to Courtney and Caitlin and stated firmly, "This goes for you two as well! I don't much care to be on the punishment receiving end of either the Authors or the Destroian Empire, especially after they showed what happened to the guy who tried to get past them!".
The duo were about to say something, when Emma told them to obey Nikki, stating that she had a very good point here. Courtney and Caitlin were not happy, but they promised.
Miss Wong turned her attention and gaze back to Jude and stated with conviction, "If you utter so much as a single phrase or word about this Danny kid, I will make sure to break and burn that skateboard of yours!".
This made the blonde young man have a panicked look in his eyes as he exclaimed, "You wouldn't!".
Jonesy rose up and said, "She would, and I would help her out. I would find matches and make the fire pit to put your board in. I'm sorry bro, but in this case I rather have your board burned and destroyed than my face getting destroyed by any of those super-powered dudes or chicks.".
Wyatt inquired, "So Jude, are you going to try to keep this thing a secret?".
Jude swallowed, seeing the looks/glares from the people there. He knew that he either had to keep this secret at any cost… or risk his precious skateboard. What a dilemma he was in…
~In unknown part of the U.S.A.~
At Miss Grimwood's Finishing School for Ghouls, said teacher/headmistress of the establishment was in the Main Hall with her students and Phantasma's father with her. The supernatural beings were surprised on what they heard and seen in DJ's 1st Progress Report. Sibella started out by saying, "Oooh, it is amazing that Danny Fenton is also that amazing hunk Danny Phantom!". Her cheeks were a healthy blue color now, indicating that she was blushing very much.
Winnie howled and added in, "AWROOOO! I'll howl to that! But I'm amazed that there even is a halfa! I mean, I did read some of the magazines that Phanty keeps in her room, but even I thought that wasn't possible. For a mortal to also be a ghost, that is.".
The Phantom growled and stated lowly, "Grah! I don't care about some mortal that stole my name! All I want to know is if I can get my darling Phanty back!".
Tanis looked to her teacher and asked, "Miss Grimwood, can we get Phantasma back to us?".
The witch thought on it for a moment and answered, "I could try Tanis dear, but it will be complicated to do. Summoning's and making portals require ingredients and power. Most of the ingredients I know where to get, but they are in the Netherworld and quite expensive. As for the power… well, to be honest I don't know if I can do it.".
Miss Grimwood was a witch of magical power, but her specialty laid in potions and brewing. So while she was capable in that department, her powers were more or less moderate. So it was no wonder she was doubting if she had the might to either do a summoning to another new universe, or making a portal to said place.
Elsa suggested, "Duh, maybe we can ask our parents to help? I'm sure they would be glad to.".
Sibella put in, "Yes, I'm sure that Daddy and the others would be glad to help us. But we need to be careful. Do not want to get the ire of the Authors or this Destroian Empire.".
The Phantom remarked, "You got that right, especially if the Authors are servants of…". He shuddered, as did the other ghouls. The ones that DJ, Dreams and Destryuk served was the ultimate enemy towards them, given their supernatural natures and all. And the very last thing they want is to have an encounter with the Chief Cornerstone.
Calming themselves down, Miss Grimwood announced, "Okay than, first thing we need to do is check my spellbook. After that, we need to get the necessary ingredients. Everyone, follow me to my Study.".
She got off of her chair, going to her personal room with the others following. Matches the small green dragon & Legs the personal pet spider of Miss Grimwood followed after them.
~In Dimmesdale, U.S.A~
In the home of Timmy Turner, said young boy was pacing around his room frantically. His fairy godparents Cosmo and Wanda watched him pace around, the two a bit worried about their godchild. The Aidith family were back at their own home… and most likely celebrating the fact that their daughter Vicky was taken down by Danny Phantom. And Timmy's parents were sound asleep in their room, not noticing at all that their son was gone all this time.
Cosmo put in, "You know, it is weird that this Danny guy is a ghost and still alive, you know?".
Wanda replied, "I know! I mean, I never heard of a mortal being able to change into a ghost since… well, you know. Ghosts means that someone died, but it doesn't seem to be the case with Danny.".
Timmy than exclaimed in a panicked tone, "I don't care about this stupid Danny jerk! All I care about is to get Vicky back, so that she can continue to babysit me, which means you won't be taken away!".
The pink-haired mature beauty tried to calm her godson by saying, "But Timmy-sweetie, you know that we can't do that! We tried last time and it didn't work.".
The bumbling fool Cosmo added in with fear in his voice, "Yeah! And also Jorgen is most likely keeping a close watch on you now! I mean, he looked very scared when he saw that your wish was messing with the Authors!".
Timmy was angry, but saw that his godparents had a point. He could not risk Jorgen finding out about his actions, or else he would lose Cosmo and Wanda quick. He was in deep thought now, trying to somehow manage to get around the Da Rules and bring Vicky back to the world. After some time, an idea hit him!
He looked to his magical beings and exclaimed, "I got it! We'll have Mark help us!".
Wanda and Cosmo were perplexed at this proclamation, the pink-haired wise one inquiring, "Mark? Mark Chang? How do you think he can help us?".
The buck-toothed kid answered in a smug tone, "Simple. We'll use his people's technology to help us! I'm sure he has something that can help us get Vicky back! Oooh, and we also need Dark Laser! He has a placed filled with tech! I bet he has something too!".
Cosmo had a dreamy look on his face as he pulled out a picture of a very sexy and alluring alien girl. She had light-green skin, emerald-colored eyes, two thin butterfly-like antenna on her head, purple-colored hair & a killer figure that was on par with even Wonder Woman! She was wearing an emerald-colored corset, skirt, a garter on her right leg & knee-high light-blue boots. She wore crystal earrings & headdress, and black lipstick.
All in all, she was a bombshell beauty in every sense of the word!
He had hearts coming out from his being as he suggested in a dreamy tone, "Oooh, how about we call up Princess Mandie too? I bet she can help us… I know I would like her to come here and help us!".
A loud AHEM came from behind him, the hearts popping away as Cosmo's dreamy expression turned fearful. He turned to see the very burning angry gaze of his wife, who did not look happy at all. He smiled sheepishly at her… and received an anvil over the head, courtesy of the magic of Wanda! He slammed down into the floor, almost going through it, while being pancaked in a very comical way.
Timmy stated, "Actually, that is not a bad idea. Mandie maybe a psycho like Vicky, but she may have something that can help us! And I'll take any and all help I can get, if it means bringing Vicky back so that you guys won't leave me!".
He went to his desk, notebook in hand as he started to come up with a plan that would enable him to bring the others together & also to make sure that Jorgen did not catch on.
Wanda really had a bad feeling about all of this. She thought, 'This godchild of mine! I really hope this does not blow up in our faces. I really, REALLY do not want to mess with DJ or any other Author he might try to call up for help if he needs it!'.
And into the night Timmy planned and schemed, ready to do what he could in order to make sure his godparents stayed with him for a long time.
~At Gravity Falls, Oregon~
Dipper and Mabel Pines were in their room at the Mystery Shack, their relation Stan Pines down below in the questionable establishment. Wendy's family were back in their own abode, and her friends were sent back to their own homes as well. All of them were thinking various things right now concerning the 1st Progress Report given to them by DJ and Dreams.
The sister of Dipper exclaimed excitedly, "Wow! I had no idea that this Danny Fenton guy was also Danny Phantom! I always thought those tabloid newspapers they sell at the store were a bit off, but for once they hit the mark concerning him!". It seems that Amity Park and Danny were famous… at least for tabloid reporters who liked to really explode things out of proportion.
Dipper looked to her and replied, "It is amazing, but what is more so that he has ghost powers yet he is alive and breathing! I mean, I always thought a ghost was someone completely dead! Apparently, I was wrong.". He had prided himself on being an expert in the paranormal, but having something that smashed his concept concerning spirits was something he was trying to adjust to.
Mabel also stated in the same tone she was using now, "And best of all, he saved Wendy and the others from that psycho Vicky girl! He really is a superhero!".
Her brother was glad that Wendy was okay… until something hit him! He realized that his crush was with an actual superhero, and that there was a good chance that she could fall in love with him! This made his mind and heart race; his mind imagining mental pictures of Danny and Wendy alone on dates, the two of them holding hands, hugging… then kissing under the stars! And his heart raced in fear, each beat increasing as he imagined losing his crush to a halfa forever!
Miss Pines was still excited on seeing and hearing the report, soon pretending that she was fighting Vicky in the Power Jacket. She used a pillow like a shield, than like a Frisbee as she nailed her imaginative foe. The pillow hit Dipper in the back of the head, smacking him out of his own personal nightmare. With panicked eyes, he reached out and took a thick journal that was on his dress drawer, running out of the room and going straight to the bathroom where he locked himself in there.
Mabel was curious on what was wrong with her brother, than chalked it up to something he might have ate. She told herself, "In the words of Ian Malcom from Jurassic Park- When you got to go, you got to go.". She then resumed doing battle with her imaginative Vicky foe.
In the bathroom, Dipper was now looking through the journal. He was saying to himself, "There has to be something, anything in here that can help me to get her back! But, I need to be careful about this!".
All of his family and associates had seen what was done to Deadpool by the Destroians, the young man remembering the memory and shuddered. He may look like a kid and all, but he didn't want to take any chances of the Empire catching him like so.
While Dipper was looking for anything in the journal to aid him in bringing Wendy back, down below… Stan Pines was busy with a project of his own, and was wondering if the Authors could help him out in that area.
~In South America~
At the city of Santiago, Chile, the Thornberry family were nearing the Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport. Their ComVee vehicle had stopped on the outskirts of Santiago, the RV moving all on its own to the surprise of the family until it found a suitable visitor's spot to stop at. It was one of those quaint places for people to rest who had been driving on the road for a long while.
It was by the doing of DJ Rodriguez that the vehicle was sent there, and when it was secured, the family had been brought up to the Author Realm. Now, they were back in the van and heading towards Santiago. The Thornberry family were continuing their mission to film at exotic places all over the world, their next destination Hawaii.
However, the family had something else on their mind besides the journey towards the Hawaiian Islands.
Nigel exclaimed with his usual enthusiasm, "Oh, that was a magnificent report! And that Danny chap, actually being a superhero that is half-ghost! Ho, ho, ho, ho! This is amazing! At least we know that Debbie is in good hands if a superhero is looking after her!".
Marianne replied, "While I find it a little comforting that this Danny person can take care of Debbie, I am still worried about her dear. I mean, she is in a totally new universe all by herself without her family with her…".
Her husband remarked in a soothing tone, "I know dear, I know. But at this point, we just have to have faith that everything will work out. Debbie is a smart and tough girl, a Thornberry through and through! And it seems that she is making good friends there, so I believe she will be okay.".
Mrs. Thornberry stated in an unsure tone, "I suppose… and I hope so. And I believe its best that we keep Danny's secret to us.".
Nigel nodded and put in, "At least the other guests at that realm were nice, as they were patient enough to put up with Donnie.". Said little boy was fast asleep in his bed, his usual energy spent after zipping about the other guests from the realm. He actually made friends there, specifically with the Warner Bros. and Sister.
While the parents were talking with one another, and the wild child asleep for the moment, Eliza was talking to her friend Darwin the chimpanzee. She whispered, "Darwin, what do you make out of all of this? I mean, Danny being a superhero and apparently a halfa; half-human, half-ghost?".
The civilized animal answered, "I honestly don't know, but I will tell you this. It just doesn't seem natural that there is such a thing, as ghosts are supposed to be mortals that are completely dead. And the fact that there are two of them disturbs me a little.".
Eliza saw where Darwin was coming from to a certain degree. Even though he was quite different from other animals, Darwin was still an animal and connected to the natural realm. And anything supernatural would spook them & make them behave in random ways.
The young child with the gift of talking to animals replied, "I know what you mean, and the fact that one of those halfas is a total bad guy and fruit loop also disturbs me as well. But… I just hope that Debbie will be alright.".
Just like Abigail Lincoln was with Cree, Eliza and her sister had rough moments here and there. But they were family, looking out for one another & caring for each other, even if they had different ways of showing it.
~In New York City, New York~
While there was activity the surface of the city, there was activity down below in the sewers. The heroes in a half shell, the mutant teenage turtles with ninja abilities who went by the names of legendary Renaissance artists were in a serious discussion with their father/master/teacher of the martial arts, along with their human friend Casey Jones.
Splinter spoke in his wise tone, "I am glad to have lived this long to know that there are still things in this world… in this universe that can completely surprise me. The Authors were the first to completely surprise me, followed by this Destroian Empire. And now to learn that someone is half-mortal and half-spirit… now that is both startling and puzzling.".
Leonardo spoke up, "It is indeed. I mean, I always believed that if one is a ghost, that means that the person was completely dead.".
Raphael stated in his usual tone, "Not to mention that there is a crazy person like this Vlad guy, who is also a halfa and apparently as nutty and devious as they come!". He had gone up against villains in the past that showed they had brains and were actually rather cunning and smart, but Vlad was something else in keeping his whole alter-ego and capabilities a secret for so long without anyone being the wiser.
Casey Jones put in, "Well, you can count me to keep this kind of thing secret.". The hockey mask vigilante knew that if he told anyone about Danny being a halfa and a hero, most likely he would get tracked down by any of the big league heroes/heroines… and most likely it would get messy fast.
Michelangelo asked, "So now that we know that April is in good hands with some superheroes there, what do you think we should do?".
Donatello stated firmly, "What do you think we should do? We need to find a way to get April back outta that strange place!". It was no secret that the bo staff wielding turtle had a crush on April, and most likely was worried that he would miss his chance with her thanks to Danny Fenton.
His rat father raised his hand to steady his sons, specifically Donatello. When all eyes were on him and the turtles settling down some, he stated, "I am afraid that is out of the question, my son.".
Splinter explained further, "Right now, there is nothing that can be done. The Authors are in full command of the situation, and also the Destroian Empire is blocking any and all retrieval attempts from the others. All we can do is hope and have faith that April will return. And in the meantime, we will take this time to improve ourselves.".
This got the attention of the mutants and human, Leonardo asking in a confused tone, "Improving ourselves? What do you mean, Master Splinter?".
The elderly master of the martial arts answered, "April will start to train, to improve herself to reach her full potential with the others, as stated by DJ himself when he first brought us to his realm. She will be there for a year or so with the others, and return back here in hopefully six or so months. We shall take that time to train and improve ourselves as well.".
He finished up in a wise tone, "Just because she is out of reach from us does not mean that our enemies will be idle. So we must push on forward and hope for the best.".
While most of the brothers and Casey agreed with Splinter, Donatello was deep in thought. He was saying to himself, 'There has to be something… some way I can either make contact with April… or to try and get her back!'.
~In Nova Scotia, Canada~
The lights were on at the home of Gwen Honorine, Ms. Honorine and her family hosting a gathering of the goth girl's friends. Cody, Trent, Leshawna, Lindsay, Izzy, Bridgette, Geoff and Owen were in the living room with mother Ally, brother Jaron & grandmother Mélaine as they all had been in the house when they were brought to the Author Realm. And now, everyone was back from said place & now going over what they have heard and seen from the 1st Progress Report.
Cody put forth in an amazed tone, "I can't believe that Danny is a superhero, a halfa of all things! I thought that all the stuff that was shown about him and Amity in the tabloid newspapers were just made-up fantasy.".
Jaron Honorine replied, "Yeah! And the fact that Gwen with someone like that, not to mention a couple of superheroines like Batgirl and Jenny! That is so cool!".
Lindsay asked the question, "Oh, oh! Since we know the secret of that cutie Danny being a superhero, do we need to keep it a secret?".
Leshawna answered her, "Of course we need to keep it a secret, girl! If we don't, I have a feeling any one of us would be having company over of the super kind.". She was talking about the various superheroes and superheroines they met in the realm, of course.
Geoff remarked in a worried tone, "You got that right, girl. Or worse, we get a visit from any of those Destroian guys…". All of them gulped, remembering on what they witnessed when Deadpool was revealed to all. This made it quite clear that the Destroian Empire was not one to take lightly at all.
Ally Honorine stated in a relived tone, "I'm glad that my little girl is safe though, since she has someone like Danny to look after her. He seems to be… reliable and smart, not to mention taking charge when he has to.". The group saw that the Fenton lad was not all macho and such, but did know when to take charge when the situation called for it. And also that he knew a thing or two about survival, which was a plus in their books.
Izzy looked to the single mother and said, "You know, you are pretty calm about this. I mean, other universes and realms… and also beings who are powerful enough to do all of this… you're taking it all well.".
Grandmother Mélaine remarked, "Young lady, I have known for many years that there were forces way beyond our own comprehension and understanding. All of us in the family knew. And now, it seems those forces are at work and I believe that having faith and confidence in both them and my granddaughter is for the best.".
Ms. Honorine spoke, "Mélaine is right here. There is not much we can do, so panicking and worrying will not do anyone any kind of good. All we can do is hope and keep the faith.".
Jaron added in, "And also do what we can for Gwen here as best we can. We already sent a note to the teachers at her school saying that she will be unavailable, saying that she took part in a cultural exchange program and would be out of the country for some time. Thankfully, they bought it.".
Indeed, the group and former contestants of the Total Drama series knew that they were right. There was no much they could do except do their best for Gwen on their end, and hope that she would come back home to their world safely and in one piece.
~In unknown part of U.S.A.~
At the residence of Drew & Charlotte Pickles, there was much activity there as said parents were in a family meeting. At the house was Stu & Didi Pickles, along with their sons Tommy and Dil Pickles. In addition, there was Chas & Kira Finster along with their children Chuckie & Kimi Finster, Howard & Betty DeVille with their children Lil and Phil DeVille. And finally, there was Angelica's best friend Susie Carmichael.
The family groups and best female friend of Miss Pickles were there when they got picked up and brought to the Author's Realm, and now returned back in the same place after the 1st Progress Report.
Dil exclaimed with excitement, "Wow! Wow! I can't believe it! That Danny dude is actually a superhero, and something that shouldn't even be possible! A halfa, a mortal who can turn into a ghost of some kind! Whoo! Awesome!".
His older brother Tommy hissed, "Shhh! Dil, you got to keep this quiet! If we blabbed about this to anyone else, we might get in big trouble!".
Chuckie added in a worried tone, "He's right Dil. You want for any of those superheroes or superheroines we saw just now to be at our doors if they manage to link the blabbing to us? Not to mention if DJ or the Destroians found out about it.".
Charlotte put forth, "Well… at least this Danny person seems responsible and has a good head on his shoulders. The fact that he is a superhero of sort is a bonus, as he can better protect Angelica and the others.".
Drew muttered like a protective father, "I know dear, I know… just wish that our little girl was back here with us. I'm very worried about her, being in that strange universe, with all those strangers there.".
Didi remarked, "Well, sad to say Drew is that… we don't really have a choice in the matter.".
Her husband Stu chimed in, "My wife's got a point. I mean, we don't have any super powers or high-edge technology like the others do. So… all we can do is hope and pray for the best for Angelica.".
Susie put in her own thoughts, "At least we are being kept in the loop. I mean, I have seen and read where people aren't that lucky to be kept up with news of their loved ones who are far away. So at least this is something.".
The whole group realized that she was right, as was Stu and Didi. While many of them would like Angelica back with them… all they could do was hope and pray for her well-being and safety.
~In Bayville, New York~
At the Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, a meeting was held at the office of Charles Xavier, the most potent telepath mutant in the known world. He had the company of Mr. & Mrs. Pryde, Storm, Logan, Kurt Wagner, Jean Gray, Hank McCoy, Scott Summers & Evan Daniels. The group was going over what had been shown to them in DJ's 1st Progress Report, and when they had been returned from the Author Realm.
Jean Gray was the first to speak, "It is incredible on how this Danny person is also Danny Phantom. I mean, I only heard of him in rumors and on certain Internet sites, but I always thought it was nonsense for someone to be alive and yet a ghost at the same time.".
Kurt put in, "Yeah, and also the way that he took command and charge there when they arrived and looked over that demolished military base, it was cool!".
Hank McCoy added in, "He does seem to have a knack at least when it comes to survival. And that he has a good head on his shoulders, during and after the battle between that Vicky girl.".
Logan looked to the Professor and inquired in his usual gruff voice, "Professor, any chance that kid is a mutant like us? That could be why he was able to survive what made him what he is now.".
The potent psychic shook his head and answered, "No, I do not believe so Logan. I have used Cerebro many times in the past, and I remembered it picked no sign of mutants in Amity Park. It seems that Danny is, or was, just a normal human that had that one-in-a-million chance to survive and before the being he is now.".
Mrs. Rebecca Pryde looked to the mutant teacher and asked, "Is… Is there any way to bring back our daughter Mr. Xavier?".
Said professor shook his head and answered in a serious tone, "I do not think so. And even if there was, most likely we would be stopped by the Destroian Empire. They are powerful… more so than I have ever felt. I fear that going up against them would be very hazardous to our health.".
Evan's exclaimed, "That's putting it lightly! I mean, did you see what they did to Deadpool?! I mean, that guy is as crazy and tough as they come! And look what they did to him!".
Storm added in, "I believe that we all need to agree to keep young Daniel's identity a secret. It would be beneficial for us to keep it like so, least we be visited by either the Destroians… or any of the Authors.". None of them knew the full power, scope or capabilities of the Authors. Same for the Destroian Empire. So for now, caution was best used here.
Scott stated, "And we have to make sure that the Brotherhood or anyone not know what's going on. They could cause more trouble if they find out any of this.".
Xavier spoke in a wise tone, "I have taken the liberty of explaining Kitty's absence from school to the principal of the school, so she will be excused for now.".
Mr. Carman Pryde asked in a defeated tone, "So… there is nothing we can do? All we can do is wait and just hope that Kitty comes back to us?". He and his wife were taking the news hard, that there was nothing that could be done to get their daughter back.
The Wolverine spoke up, "Nope. All we can do is hope… and train.".
The group looked up to him in puzzlement, Kurt inquiring in a curious tone, "What do you mean by that Logan?".
He answered him in his usual gruff and rough tone, "I mean is that all of us are going to train. Kitty is not going to rest on her butt while she is in that other universe. You heard that DJ kid; he said that he sent them there so that they could reach their full potential. So that means she is most likely going to train and become better. She is not going to be the same girl that left on her trip when she comes back from it.".
The lovely African woman of nature replied, "He is right. Kitty is going to come back changed, hopefully for the better. So while she improves herself, so shall we.".
One by one, the other members realized that they were right. There was nothing they could do, least they rise the ire of beings more powerful than them. All they could do was hope, pray, have faith & also improve themselves as best they could for Kitty when she did return.
~At Minato-ku, Tokyo~
A meeting was taking place called the Hikawa Shrine, a Shinto shrine that was run by Rei Hino and her grandfather. Inside the shrine were the Sailor Scouts in their civilian forms, along with their cat guardians as well. The group had come together shortly after returning from the Author Realm, all coming to the place they normally had their meetings when it came to serious business.
It was warded by sacred scroll spells provided by Rei herself, ones that would shield them from any kind of prying eyes or ears, regular and magical in nature. And also to keep her grandfather away so that he would not snoop anywhere near her room.
Minako started things off, "I have to say, that was something! That this Danny cutie is also Danny Phantom! Wow! That is something I didn't come to expect!".
Rei remarked to that in a serious tone, "Neither did I. To think that a mortal could be a ghost and still alive at the same time… I always that something like that was not possible.".
Ami put in, "Let's not forget on that other being that he named, I think it was Vlad Masters. He has been a halfa like Danny a lot longer, and also has more experience than he does. Still… from what Danny described of him, he is dangerous not only for his experience but obsession as well.".
Usagi looked to Setsuna and inquired in a worried tone, "Setsuna… will any of this affect the coming of Crystal Tokyo?".
The others looked to her, the representative of Pluto seemingly deep in thought for a moment before answering, "I do not know.". Her simple answer there caught them off-guard.
Chibiusa exclaimed in surprise, "What do you mean you don't know?! You use the Time Gates! You can see everything from there; past, present and future!".
The alluring mature woman shook her head and explained, "I can, yes. But when I tried to use them earlier… I saw nothing but a certain blue symbol. It is the insignia of DJ Rodriguez, the circles that resemble a mouse's head and ears with those unusual kanji writing within the large circle. It seems that… fearfully enough, the Author has the ability to block me from seeing what occurs now.".
This was now getting serious, as Setsuna was the keeper of an artifact that allowed her to peer into the Time Stream and see events of the future. But with said ability being blocked now… they had lost an edge over their current enemies.
Usagi exclaimed in shock and fear, "T-T-That can't be true! M-Maybe something is wrong with the Gates?!".
Rei commented, "If she is saying this Usagi, than most likely it is true. It sounds exactly what happened when I tried to use my spirit powers to find Makoto last week, remember?".
Shortly after their first meeting with DJ and the other Authors, Rei had been asked to use her powers to try and divine Makoto's location so they could attempt either a rescue or communication. She tried to the best of her abilities'… but got nothing. She admitted that the powers granted to her by her planet Mars was not enough to do such an endeavor.
After some silence, Ami inquired in an unsure tone, "So… should we consider DJ and the Authors enemies?".
Setsuna answered immediately, "No, and I do not believe that we should. They are powerful, very powerful. And we do not know the depth or scope of their capabilities. We do know that they easily defeated someone the Americans believe to be quite potent, so I believe that caution is best here. And I do mean extreme caution.".
The girls and cats shuddered at remembering seeing Deadpool, and also the Destroians who seemed to be leagues above even the Black Moon Clan. And also that the Scout of Pluto was correct, that making the Authors and Destroians their enemies was a BAD move.
Mamoru inquired while holding a distraught Usagi & Chibiusa, "So… what do we do now?".
The green-haired woman answered, "Makoto is going to be reaching her full potential where she is at along with the others, according to DJ and Dreams. So I believe that we need to do the same.".
She explained further, "Our enemies will not be idle while a member of the team is gone. So we need to improve ourselves, both to be ready for when the enemy attacks & also for Makoto when she does come back. Hopefully in six months… I hope.". It was unusual for her to be unsure, since normally she would know everything due to her artifact of power.
But now that it was disabled, she was going to rely on something that she had not done in all of her many years of living… and that was hope and faith.
While the others now discussed on what was to be done for each of them, to pick up the slack with Makoto gone, she thought, 'There are others I can bring in… but I really do not know if the time is right or not to awaken the remaining Outer Scouts. Oh, what a dilemma this is…'.
It was Mamoru that stated, "First thing that needs to be done is to keep the secret of Danny to ourselves. If we blab or do anything to reveal it, I think our problems are going to increase.".
The ladies and cats saw that he was right. Should they do something to blab the secret of Danny Fenton out into the open, most likely they would receive some visitors… ones that would make life for them VERY much difficult.
So they started to plan now, and also hoping & praying that their dear friend and fellow Sailor Scout would come back soon…
~In Acmeville, California~
The Kaboom family was in the confines of the Water Tower, the home of the Warner Bros. and Sister. The group was going over on what occurred after seeing the 1st Progress Report in the Author Realm.
Dot was looking at two pictures that she had Dreams give to her before departing; one that showed Danny Fenton, the other showing him in his superhero form of Danny Phantom. She sighed dreamily with hearts around her eyes and stated in a tone matching her mood, "Ahhhh… that Danny guy is so cute! While he is not as handsome as that Asgardian hunk Thor, he does have a certain quality to him that makes him dreamy!".
Yakko and Wakko gave quizzical looks to one another on their sibling's behavior, the older brother shrugging and looking to the Kaboom family. He stated, "So parents and younger brother of Katie, what do you think of the situation?".
Mr. Ranald Kaboom answered, "I think that all of this is so crazy! I mean, our darling daughter is in another universe and there is nothing we can do about it!".
Mrs. Jeana Kaboom inquired, "Do you think we should tell anyone about Danny's secret?".
Wakko shook his head and answered, "I wouldn't recommend it. That Deadpool character, the one that Destroian really messed up back there, he is as random and crazy like us. And if they did that to him… oooh, wouldn't even want to imagine what they could do to us.".
Yakko smirked with a sly smile on and remarked, "Heh, for some of those hot babes I saw like Jean Gray & that Janet girl, that would be worth the pain!". Wakko agreed with him on that, saying that some of the women they saw there like Minako, Caitlin and Leshawna would be worth any pain if they could get a date with them.
Dot rolled her eyes at this and just said in an exasperating tone, "Boys…".
Tinker asked in a curious tone, "So… what can we do?".
Yakko was pondering that for a moment, than an idea came to him… literally in the form of a large light bulb appearing and turning on over his head. He grabbed it and tossed it out before answering, "Well, first thing we need to do is let certain neighbors of ours know the situation with Katie. You know, our friends like Slappy Squirrel, Minerva Mink, Hello Nurse, Dr. Scractinsniff, our boss Thaddeus Plotz and so on.".
He further explained, "Than, we wait until Katie comes back & sell her whole adventure to the studio! We turn her adventure there into a movie, where we can make some serious big bucks and be more famous than ever!".
This had the Kaboom family perplexed on Yakko coming up with such a bizarre idea, Mr. Kaboom interrupting the Warner's daydream… which consisted of the Warners at the movie premier with their dates; Yakko dressed in a tuxedo with Shayera in a slinky black dress that was made for her & modified to fit over her wings, Wakko also dressed formally with Paulina Sanchez in a beautiful dark-pink evening wear & finally Dot in a beautiful sparkly gown with Danny Fenton as her date.
The man's head came forth from the vision, which dissolved into mist and brought them back to reality. Once he got their attention, he asked, "I think what my son is asking is that there is no way to get Katie back to us?".
Yakko shook his head and answered, "Nope. All we can do is wait and hope that she comes back in one piece.".
So that was that… the Kaboom family had no choice but to rely on faith and hope that their daughter would return back to them.
~In Wizville, California~
At the Proud house, a family/friends meeting was taking place. The babies Bebe and Cece had been watched over, Trudy Proud asking LaCienega's grandfather Papi Boulevardez to look after them before they left. He agreed, watching over the little ones until the family came back home. Fortunately for them, his back was turned when they had vanished in a flash of light.
And when they came back in the same manner from the Author Realm, he was asleep in the living room. He was woken up, and he told the group that the kids were sound asleep in their cribs. Papi was thanked very much, and escorted out by Trudy and LaCienega.
Once he was gone, the entire group started to discuss on what they had been shown from the 1st Progress Report. But in a quiet manner as to not awaken the babies.
Dijonay stated in her usual tone, "I can't believe that skinny white dude Danny is actually a superhero! I mean, he's something that shouldn't even be possible!".
Zoey remarked in an excited tone, "I know, right? I mean, I always thought that being a ghost meant completely being dead! And that there are two, umm… what was that word? Ah, yeah! Two halfas in this world!".
Sticky put in, "Yeah man, and one of them is one completely messed-up wacko billionaire who still has a crush on the guy's mom! I mean, if that is not messed up, I don't know what is!".
LaCienega looked bored and remarked, "Maybe, but someone should do something about his clothes. It looks tacky! I mean, a hazmat suit? Really?". She was already imagining some new clothes for the halfa hero.
Sugar Mama cut in, "Heh, he looks to be able to handle himself quite well. Commanding, brave and also having a good head on his shoulders when it comes to fighting and survival. That kid looks to be a rare one, and I don't mean him being half-ghost.".
Mr. Proud was about to shout out, but his wife put her left finger to her lips, telling him to be quiet or he'll wake the little ones. Oscar nodded, then made his announcement in a controlled voice of anger, "I don't care if he is a hero or not! My baby girl is with a boy, and we got to find a way to get her back here to us!".
Trudy looked to her husband and inquired, "And how do we do that, Oscar? We don't have super powers or anything like that. And we don't have access to any kind of technology that could go into other universes.".
Mr. Webb added in, "And even if we did, most likely we would get trounced by those Authors, or those Destroian guys. You saw what they did to that guy who tried to take them on.".
Oscar was still looking stubborn and remarked firmly, "I don't care! I don't want my baby girl with some boy in an unknown universe! I want her back, and I want her back right now!".
He would have ranted more… but Sugar Mama slapped the back of his head and got him in a headlock quick! It seemed that watching many wrestling events came in handy, as Oscar tried to struggle out but couldn't.
The elderly woman whispered in a strong tone, "Now you listen, and you listen good Oscar Proud! Your daughter is coming back, but not at your time or will!".
She continued on while everyone watched on, "Boy, you really need to have faith and trust in others, especially your daughter! She maybe out of reach, but at least we are being kept of her and the other progress. That is something, so just take it as is boy!".
The wise but feisty elderly woman finished up, "I'm going to let you go now Oscar, but this is the end of the discussion. Clear?". He nodded his head, which was turning a bit blue from the lack of oxygen. Sugar Mama released him, the man straighten up and panting hard as the normal color came back to his cheeks.
Trudy put in, "Sugar Mama is right. For now, just have to leave it to hope and faith. Also, we need to keep Danny's identity a secret. We do not want any of those super-powered or high influential beings coming to our door if they heard that any leak came from us.".
The others agreed with her on that, as they did not want any kind of trouble from those that were powerful, influential… or just plain powerful, like the Authors or Destroians.
The mature beauty added, "Also, we took care of Penny's situation concerning school, saying that she is taking part of a cultural exchange program. They bought it, but you all need to make sure not to leak out to what has happened to her. Especially to your parents or other friends.".
The young ones agreed to that, things to have settled down minus Oscar who really hated the fact that his little girl was with a boy and he could not be there for her.
~At Sheltered Shrubs, Connecticut~
At the home of Ginger Foutley, the family members were talking with the friends of Ginger on the events that occurred within the Author Realm.
The younger brother Carl stated in awe, "Man, I can't believe that Danny Fenton guy is really Danny Phantom! I mean, I heard stories about him and what goes down at Amity Park through Internet searches… but I never thought they were real!".
Courtney Gripling inquired, "So… what do we do with this kind of information?".
Ms. Lois Foutley answered in a serious tone, "First, we do not tell anyone about this. It was hard to convince the school principal that Ginger was selected for a cultural exchange program and sent overseas, but if we tell them the truth…".
Darren Patterson took up from there, "They would think we were nuts, and most likely send us to the Nuthouse.".
Dodie Bishop asked in a curious tone, "So… what do you think of Danny? I mean, he is a superhero and all but can he really take care of Ginger and the others?".
Macie Lightfoot put in, "He does seem to have a good head on his shoulders. He got the group organized and together, and also showed he uses his head in a good way. And the way he saved the others from that Vicky girl was clever and smart! And he does have a knack when it comes to survival.".
Ginger's mom stated, "So… all we can do now is wait, hope and pray that Ginger comes back to us in six or so months?".
Darren answered, "Yup. And also to be prepared as well. Ginger is going to be there for a year or so, until they find all of those Dragonballs that they need to make the wish back home. I believe that she will be changed after that… I hope, and I mean really hope for the better.".
So it was that the friends and family members of Ginger were now going to wait and hope for the best, in Ginger and also in Danny to take care of her and the others.
~At New Salem, Oregon~
A meeting was being held at the immense pyramid home of Cleo de Nile, in the room of said person to be more specific. The various ghouls and Professor Hexicah Steam were there, discussing the events that had transpired in the Author Realm. The professor and Headmistress Nora had come on the grounds of discussing school events with Cleo, the various ladies behind them as to give proof. This prompted the parents of Cleo to let them in, and when they were inside said room… it was sealed with a special spell that would not open until the meeting was concluded. And also soundproof as well.
Frankie was the first to get things going as she exclaimed excitedly, "This is just volt-tastic! Danny Fenton is actually that supernatural hero Danny Phantom?! That something that got my volts sparking!".
Abby put in, "Yeah, that is something! I heard of him from relations from the Far Frozen area of Ghost Zone that he is powerful and good guy! And also cute, according to girls there. And they right!".
Clawdeen put in, "You got that right! He looked cute, but the way he took command and also got that freaky Vicky girl was incredible! Mmmm… he looks to have the capabilities of an alpha!".
Even though the ladies had beau's of their own, it was natural for them to have an eye for others that did get their attention. And it seemed that young Daniel had the attention of the ghouls.
Ghoulia groaned out, "Ahhhh…".
Draculaura nodded her head and replied, "I agree Ghoulia. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders, and has good survival training too! Still… the fact that he is a mortal and a ghost is hard to believe. I think we need to visit Amity Park one of these days to learn more.".
Cleo called out, "While I would love to gush more about this Danny character, I think we have something more serious to discuss.".
Nora stated in a firm tone, "This is true. While Mr. Fenton… or Phantom as the case may be, is quite capable, I believe that it is best to see if we can retrieve Spectra back to this universe.". She looked to Professor Steam and asked if anything could be done.
He was deep in thought for a moment or two before answering, "No… I don't think that anything can be done, nor should it be done.".
The various beings caught onto his change in words, now looking in puzzlement at the cyborg human. He sighed and explained, "First off, we need to keep Danny's alter-ego identity a secret. And also on what is really happening to Spectra. If news of this got leaked out, it would spell disaster for both Monster High and us.".
He continued, "Also, while we have various potions/spells and other devices in which to connect to other worlds… I do not believe we have the capabilities to pierce into an entirely different universe. Also… you saw what happened to that strange guy when he tried to do something about it. You really want to end up like that?".
This got the lovely ladies to shake their heads rapidly. All of them had felt the immense power coming from both the Authors and the Destroians, so they believed it would be very hazardous to their health to even attempt what Deadpool did.
Hexicah finished up, "Also, even if we did have connections to other powerful beings that could do the job of opening a portal or something akin to that to the universe… I believe they would not comply, as you all know they fear servants of the One who is higher above them.".
This got some of them to shudder, as there was truly one being they feared most… and that was The Way, the Truth & the Life.
Cleo than asked, "So… what should we do?".
Nora Bloodgood answered with finality, "We just have to do the best we can, and push forward as best we can while hoping for the best that Spectra will come back to us in one piece.".
And so it was that the lovely ghouls and professor of the high school for supernatural beings that they were leaving it all up to hope and faith that Spectra would return back to them in six months or so. And now that it was done… the ladies started to talk more about the being called Dany Phantom.
~In Melodia, the Magical Dimension~
In the home of Musa, her family and friends were all together as they had all returned from the Author Realm. And now they were discussing on what took place in the 1st Progress Report.
Bloom put in, "I can't believe that my own planet of Earth had such powerful heroes and heroines, and also that supernatural activity exists there!".
Stella chimed in, "Yeah, and that this Danny Fenton boy is a superhero that is half-mortal, half-ghost! I thought something like that was impossible!".
Flora put in, "And also that his arch-nemesis is a halfa too, been one for some time & also seems to be more crazy and powerful than even the Witches.". She was referring to the Trix, a trio of witches that used their magic for evil purposes. The trio consisted of Icy the Ice Witch, Darcy the Witch of Illusions & finally Stormy the Witch of Storms.
Techna stated, "This Danny Phantom being defies most logic, even by my standards. Still, he seems to display remarkable courage, good leadership and a sound mind when it comes to battle and survival.".
Aisha put in with a small smile, "Not to mention cute and strong.". Her fairy and pixie companions agreed on that, some giggling as they did find Danny cute and handsome, in a dorky kind of way. At least to them.
Riven growled softly and exclaimed, "Hey, enough about this Danny geek! We have more important things to talk about now!". He was upset that Musa was in a place that was out of reach, and apparently with a superhero that could threaten his position as Musa's boyfriend… even though technically he was her ex at the moment.
Ho-Boe looked to Headmistress Faragonda and inquired, "Headmistress, is there anything that can be done to bring my daughter back home to us?".
The elderly woman of the magical school was in deep thought for a moment, than answered in a resigned tone, "No sir, I do not believe there is.".
She explained in detail, "First off, it would take an enormous amount of power to even attempt to make a portal or anything that can traverse to a completely different universe. Second, we might catch the ire of the Authors or the Destroians. We do not fully know their power limits or capabilities, but I do know this. And it is that each of them are extremely powerful, and going up against them even with magic would be folly at best.".
Bloom added in, "She's right. I felt the power from DJ, Dreams, Lord Destryuk and also those Destroians of his. It beats out anything I've ever felt, and if we get on their bad sides… oooh, don't even want to think about it.". She shuddered, some of them following her actions. They felt that getting on the bad side of such potent beings was NOT a good idea.
Musa's father than asked in a defeated tone, "Than… what can we do?".
Techna answered firmly, "First off, we make sure to keep Danny's identity of him being a superhero a secret. Also to make sure we keep under wraps what is happening to Musa. If anyone else found out, it would cause others to get suspicious and who knows what could happen if certain enemies found out about this.".
She was correct in that, as the Winx Club now down one member… and also they still had some powerful enemies about that would leap at the chance to get them while they were vulnerable.
Faragonda stated, "Then it's about time that we all improve ourselves while Musa is away.".
Seeing the looks of confusion on the faces of everyone, the elderly magical being explained once more, "DJ himself stated that Musa and the others were sent there to that new universe to reach their full potential. I believe that Musa will now be undergoing some training that will improve herself and her capabilities. I believe we must do the same.".
She finished up, "We must improve ourselves in many areas, so that we can be ready against our enemies as well as show Musa how much we have improved in her absence.".
Seeing the wisdom and truth in her words, the others agreed to what she has laid down and now started to come up with some kind of plan that would help them to move forward… and also to keep the faith and hope alive that Musa would return back to them soon.
~In Lawndale, U.S.A.~
In the Morgendorffer residence, a small meeting was being held in the living room. The family and the friends of Daria were discussing on what they had seen and heard in the Author Realm concerning the 1st Progress Report. Mr. Jake Morgendorffer exclaimed, "I can't believe that little… skinny guy is actually a superhero! This is crazy!".
Quinn put in her usual tone, "Yeah, and not fair! Why does Daria get to hang out with such a cute superhero like that!? I'm ten times cuter and better than she is!". She was also a bit upset that she didn't get any of the attention of certain heroes there in DJ's realm, despite her best flirting attempts and such.
Jane Lane asked the question, "So, now that we know this… what do we do now?".
Tom Sloane put in, "I think what we need to do is make sure that this Fenton kid's secret doesn't get out or go viral. If it does and those various super beings trace it back to us, we are in big trouble. Not to mention what those Author guys and girl can do to us…".
The group shuddered at the memory of seeing Deadpool, all decimated by one of the Destroian members of said Empire.
Mrs. Helen Morgendorffer added in, "Yes, you are correct on that. And also to make sure that what is going on with Daria over there kept under wraps. I already sent some info to the principal, saying that Daria was going overseas for an exchange program. Thankfully he bought it, but we need to be careful here.".
Her remaining child asked in a curious tone, "Why? Why keep any of this a secret?".
Her father answered, "Because if anyone heard about this, they think we were nuts and probably ship us off to an insane asylum or something like that!". That got Quinn some good incentive to be quiet, as she did not want to go where other seriously crazy people were at.
Daria's best friend commented, "I will give this to Daria, she is in good company. I bet this Danny guy can take care of her and the others while they are there in that new world.".
~At Gold Coast, Australia~
At the home of Cleo Sertori, the family and friends of said young lady were in the living room. They were going over what they had heard and seen in the Author Realm concerning the 1st Progress Report.
Mr. Donald Setori stated in an awed tone, "So this Danny Fenton boy is also a superhero, and of the supernatural kind?! I have to say, I think I may have seen everything…".
Mrs. Bev Setori put in, "And something that I couldn't think was possible! I mean, a living being that can turn into a ghost… that still doesn't seem possible!".
The younger sister Kim chimed in, "Well, I have to say that Danny is cute! In a dork-ish kind of way, but still cute!".
Emma Gilbert asked the potent question, "So… now that we all know this, what should we do about it?".
Lewis McCartney included into the inquiry, "And is there any chance to get Cleo back here to us?".
It was Rikki Chadwick that answered both questions, "To the first question, we keep Danny and Cleo's location a secret. We don't want to get in trouble if we blab out Fenton's secret hero identity, or cause us to get in trouble with the authorities who might not believe where Cleo is at.".
The parents of Cleo had managed to convince the principal of the school their daughter went to that she had been selected for an exchange program and sent overseas to the United States. They seemed to buy it, so at least her educational status was taken care of. But if anyone heard on where Cleo was really at… well, investigations would be involved that would most likely cause them a lot of headaches and such in the future.
Miss Chadwick continued on, "And to the second question, nothing we can do about that. We're dealing with some seriously powerful beings here, and I do not want to end up like that freaky guy in the strange costume when he was caught by those Destroian beings.".
Indeed, none of them wanted to be on the receiving end of the wrath of any of the Destroian beings.
Emma looked to the Setori family and said, "All we can do is hope and pray that Cleo will come back to us safely and in one piece. And I think she is in good hands. This Danny boy seems to have a good head on his shoulders, as well as being strong.".
Donald, Bev and Kim realized that what she just stated was the truth. There was nothing they could do at all, and could only hope, pray and have faith that their daughter would return home soon.
~At Jump City, California~
A top-priority meeting was being held at the famous Teen Titans Tower, held by the leader Robin- Richard Grayson. The group was going over on what they witnessed in the Author's Realm, as well as what was shown in the 1st Progress Report.
Beast Boy started things off by proclaiming excitedly, "Yo, that was wicked! That this Danny guy is a superhero, and managed to kick that crazy Vicky's butt good!".
Cyborg added in with the same tone as his friend, "I know, right?! And the fact that he is something that I didn't think was really possible! I mean, we have seen a lot of weird stuff and been up against some strange characters, but never someone that was half-alive and half-dead! And not like a zombie or vampire, ya know?!".
Robin looked all serious, even more so than usual. He looked to Raven and inquired, "Raven, have you encountered anything like this Phantom guy?".
The alluring gothic beauty shook her head and answered, "Nope, never. I have seen some strange and unusual beings before meeting any of you, but I have never heard of someone that was alive yet being able to turn into a ghost.".
Beast Boy put in, "And the fact that his archenemy, this Vlad Masters guy, is also a halfa that has been lying low on the radar all this time… man, talk about sneaky!".
Cyborg added in, "Not to mention crazy. I mean, he has all of that wealth and he still obsesses over a married woman like that. Yo, that is whack!".
The former Boy Wonder of Gotham City stated seriously, "Okay, enough of those two! What we need to find out is if we can get to this new universe and get Starfire back. Raven, Cyborg, Beast Boy… any thoughts or ideas?". It was burning him that his crush Starfire was in another world, and with someone with the potential to steal her heart away from him.
Raven shook her head and answered in her usual tone, "I have some books that can open portals to new dimensions… but I don't think any of them can open portals to completely different universes in different planes of reality. But I'll see what I can find.".
The cybernetic muscle and tech guru for the team answered, "I can look up some things, but it might take some time. And even then, I doubt it would work.".
Robin answered with his eyes a bit narrowed, "Oh, and why is that?".
Cyborg answered firmly, "Because of the Authors and the Destroian Empire. Robin… those guys are WAY beyond our league. I doubt if even the Justice League can handle any of them. You saw what they did to that guy, what was his name… ah, yeah! Deadpool! You saw what just one of them did to him, and they say that guy is as tough as they come. Crazy as they come too.".
The morphing animal of the team added in, "Yeah dude! Also, if we do anything like blab Danny's secret out, they would be onto us and that could cause a LOT of headaches that I really do not want to deal with!".
Raven put in her own words, "They're right Robin. Also, if we let it slip where Starfire is at, no doubt it would get our enemies interested. And I doubt that any of them would be able survive an encounter against either the Authors or the Destroian Empire. The best we can do is move forward from this… and to improve ourselves.".
Robin raised an eyebrow at this and inquired, "Improve ourselves? Why is that?".
The sorceress of darkness answered, "Because like DJ said, Starfire and the others are going to be trained to reach their full potential. That means that Starfire is not going to be idle while waiting for these Dragonball things to appear within a year there. So while she improves herself there, we can do so over here.".
Cyborg's eyes widened as he put in, "Oh, I get it! I get it! So while she's training there, we do so over here! That way, we can improve ourselves to be ready against all the fools who try to take us on! And also be ready for Star when she comes back from that other world!".
Beast Boy chimed in with a smile, "Well, it seems that we need a plan or something to get better while we wait for Star! Robin, what do you think?".
The former student of Batman was in deep thought, 'These guys make some good sense and good arguments… but I can't just accept Starfire being there with this Danny character! I'll look up more info on him, and also see if I can find someone that is a bit more willing to help me if Raven and Cyborg can't find a way to this new universe.'.
He answered them, "Okay, I see what you all are getting at… and I agree. We train and pick up the slack now that Star is gone, at least for now. So let's see what we can do to improve ourselves.".
This got the three to look pleased with their leader's declaration… though Raven felt that something was a bit off with Robin. But until she had more concrete proof, she would have to just hope for the best.
And so the decisions and plans of many are made; some planning to move on ahead and to improve themselves, while some still try to do what they can to bring their loved ones back home!

The camera shows the scene of twilight as the sun is almost completely gone over the horizon. Credits roll on by to showcase the people who made the anime series possible.
A field is displayed that has several large domed Capsule Corp. houses, arranged in a circle with one in the middle slightly smaller than the others. The scene showed Danny Fenton at the doorway to the smaller one since it was his alone. He stretched his arms and went inside his new abode to relax, not knowing of his dates who were watching him as he went inside the home.
The camera showed that the ladies were sharing a Capsule home that could easily sustain 5 people comfortably. It went as follows:

The camera showed the ladies relaxing in their new homes, doing various things. However… the camera shows each of their faces & it shows that all of them have a certain young lad on their minds. Soon, a dream sequence starts that shows each of the ladies time spent with Danny so far in the new world they are on.
And it also displays some daydreams they have where Danny chooses one of them out of everyone else.
When the sun goes out completely and the girls see its getting late, the camera shows the ladies going to their rooms to get ready for bed.
As they start to get ready, the camera shows another dream sequence that features a certain girl with Danny; Kim on the Nimbus Cloud with Danny Phantom flying beside her, Makoto and Danny fighting various bad guys together, Felicia and Danny partying at a nightclub in one of the cities they visited, Kara Kent flying through the sky with Danny Phantom, etc.
The random dream sequences end, and the camera shows the ladies soon plopping on their own beds in their own rooms.
The camera shows the young ladies soon in Dreamland, each one having a pleasant smile on as they are dreaming of the future. The camera shows more scenes of their dreams; Phantasma grinning & running away with Danny as they found one of the Dragon Balls in a land of demons, Angelica holding tightly to Danny on an air bike as they rode above the ground but not high in the air either, Wendy Corduroy and Danny putting down some strange land pirates that they had run into, Katie Kaboom on a date with Danny at a romantic carnival that showed a Ferris Wheel that lit up in lights for them K.K. & D.F., etc.
The camera changes to go back to the real world, showing in slow changing sequence the ladies that are all dreaming of the young man they have come to really know & appreciate. They all know his good and bad sides, his good characteristics and flaws that he is trying to work on… and also his dedication to watching over & being there for them.
The camera finishes on Starfire, shifting to show Danny as he lies awake in his room. He is looking up at the ceiling, the camera changing to his Point of View as on the ceiling are the ladies faces in dream circles of sort.
The camera shows the faces of the girls in random fashion, and also showcases an action that Danny took with the girls during his adventures in the new Earth they were on. After that, the camera switches from his Point of View and goes back to show his face as he is deep in thought… on which lady he really does come to love more so than the others in terms of the romantic, long-term sense.
The camera switches from the restless Fenton boy back to the ladies, showing that some of them had blushes on their faces as the dreams they were having about the young lad was drifting towards more… daring territories, some quite bold & adult in nature.
The camera than changes to outside, zooming slowly away from the homes to showcase the stars that were now twinkling free and strong in the velvet black sky. The moon shone brightly… and within the moon came in the random picture of Danny's face holding one of the ladies close to him! A shooting star shot forth underneath the moon, as the final part of the credits showed.

(Author's Notes: And… cut! That is it for this chapter! Whew! I believe that this is the second longest chapter I ever wrote, the longest being the one at my Disney/Toho special House of Mouse Special- Godzilla 1985!
Before I say or do anything else, I want to give praise and glory to the Lord. God, thank you again for aiding me in the creation of this chapter! It was long, hard and a challenge since I had to go back to certain chapters to make sure I got everyone. But you Jesus guided me and corrected me when I needed it, and I thank you for that immensely! Thank you Lord for all that you have done for me, my family, my friends and to those all over the world that need you very much!

A couple of quotes that are shown here, I actually got from my relations who posted them. I save a lot of quotes and Scriptures that come from the Bible, and today I am proud to use them here! Also, for the Kim Possible section here, I got inspiration for it from two awesome stories called Rise of the Unstoppable by Author Masseffect-TxS and Rockwaller Sisters (Pt 2) by Author JStormRaider7. I read many Kim Possible fanfiction where Ron is the hero and has to step up, but these two specific stories helped me out with it big time.
As you can see, I had to think hard on the characters actions, reactions, their tones and more here. Not perfect mind you, but best I could do. And will stick to it! As you can see, many of the characters are going to have to rely on faith and trust that the ladies with Danny will be back soon. And some will try to improve themselves so they can be ready for them when they do return.
And I hope that Author Blue Marvel 0 liked the little tribute I did for him or her by using the name as the name for the eatery in the Ghost Zone! And also the subtle Easter Eggs I slipped into here.
I just honestly hope you like this, as the next Progress Report will be shown in the next book. A vast majority of the story will be focused on Danny and the others in the Dragonball universe. And I do hope to get more reviews and attention for this story here, that it gets popular as the ones posted by Authors Flower princess11 and others who have posted their various stories that are based on her popular story The Many Dates of Danny Fenton.
