After they finished their dinner, Santana and Brittany cleaned up while kids went to their own room. Marina was laying on the bed with closed eye.
Marina started to consider about what her parents said. She wondered if this feeling for Chloe is real or just a phase and eventually realize she just liked her as a friend. She couldn't tell which one of them was real. She didn't know how much time has passed, but her mom knocked on the door.
"Come in." she said. When her mom opened the door, Santana came into her room. Santana was wearing her pajama pants and a plain t- shirt. Wow, it seemed like the time has passed really quickly and it's already time to sleep.
"How are you, M?" Santana asked her daughter. She knows it will be confusing for her to have those feelings for a girl. Even though Marina have a gay parent, it won't be easy to admit that she likes a girl more than a friend. She will be confused because love and friendship is confusing, and even more so if the other person is same gender.
"Confusing. I don't know what these feelings mean. Will I eventually realize that my feelings for Chloe was just friendship? Or these feelings are actually love?" Marina asked. She could tell her mom anything. She knows her mom understands her and will love her unconditionally.
"You won't know until you give Chloe a shot. I didn't know my feelings for your mommy was actually love until I gave her a shot. Before then, I was just like you. Confused. Even more so because my abuela is opposed to the idea and my parents never talked about gay people." Santana said.
"But what if my feelings for her was just friendship?" Marina asked. Santana smiled at her daughter. She remembered that she had that exact same thought when she was in high school.
"Then you can tell Chloe that your feelings for her was just friendship. If she gets mad or something, then she's not even worth it to have a friendship with her. If she keeps bothering you, I will go all lima heights on her. Don't worry mija." Santana said. Marina smiled at her mom. Marina and Santana always had a special connection.
"Thanks, mom." Marina said and hugged her mom with bone crushing hug. Santana smiled lovingly at her daughter.
"For what?" Santana said. Marina was feeling so lucky to have the greatest parent in entire universe.
"For everything." Santana smiled and hugged her back. Marina and Santana stayed like this for a quite long time. When Santana looked down at her daughter, she was asleep in her arms. Smiling to herself, Santana lay Marina on her bed. Then she went outside of her daughter's room and went to the living room.
When she came out, Brittany was waiting for her on the couch. Brittany looked up at her when she heard Santana's footsteps.
"Hey, how was your talk with Marina?" Brittany asked. Brittany scooched over so Santana could sit on the couch too.
"It was good. I told her to give that girl a shot. And if she gets mad or something, I will go all lime heights on her so don't worry about it." Santana said as she snuggled up at her wife on the couch. Brittany placed her arms around Santana's shoulder.
"I knew you would be a great mom. Marina and you share some special bond. Maybe it's because she is so much like you?" Brittany said. Santana and Brittany cuddled closer.
"Maybe." Santana replied. As soon as she said that, she press her lips softly against Brittany's. They moved their lips together, and when Brittany swiped her tongue across her bottom lip seeking for an entrance, the kiss quickly got heated. When Brittany gently grabbed Santana's breast, she earned a delicious moan. Brittany smirked.
"Shall we take this into the bedroom?" Brittany asked smirking. Santana was beyond turned on to care.
Without any word, Santana got up and offered her hand to Brittany. Brittany gladly took her hand. They went into the bedroom and they didn't slept at all that night.
In the morning, everyone was lazy since it was Saturday. Justin was playing some video game on TV and Marina was just looking at her phone in her bed. Santana and Brittany was in their bedroom cleaning. Since it's been a long time they cleaned the whole house because they were busy, they decided to clean the house today.
"Hey, San! Look at this dust! It's crazy. If Mrs. Shue saw this, she might die." Brittany said as she cleaned the shelf and both of them started laughing.
"Yeah. She would at least have a heart attack. I wonder what Mr. Shue and Mrs. Shue are doing. I miss them." Santana said after the laugh subsided. When they moved to LA, they lost most of their friend's contact. They have been busy working and raising their children. They even lost Quinn's contact.
"I miss them too. I miss our high school friends too. It's been a long time since we met them." Brittany said. She really missed her friends.
"I know, Britt. But I lost contact with them so I don't know how to contact with them again." Santana said sadly. After awhile, Brittany stood up suddenly.
"Saaannnnn" Brittany said. Her back was hurting like hell. Maybe because she's old now.
"What is it, Britt?" Santana asked worriedly. Since they were not in their 20s, she was worried. Even more so because Brittany still teach dance and choreograph dance moves.
"My back hurts. I don't think we can clean the whole house by our selves." She said wincing at the pain in her back. Then Santana got a brilliant idea.
"Why are we doing this just us? We have kids. They are probably doing nothing right now." Santana said. Then Santana called her kids up stair.
"Why are you calling us? I was middle of important game." Justin said annoyingly. He was kinda mad that he couldn't continue playing the game.
"Listen up! We realized we're too old to clean the house by ourselves. So I want you guys to help us." Santana said firmly. Marina quickly obliged since she was getting bored. Justin obliged too eventually because his mom is stubborn. She will never change her mind.
They all started cleaning and when they finally finished cleaning, sun was already setting. They gathered around in the living room after they finished cleaning.
"Do you guys know what I found? It was totally worth it to clean the house." Justin said excitedly. His chocolate brown eyes twinkled in excitement.
"Tada!" He putted some photos on the table. It was old photos of Brittany and Santana. In some of the photos, they were just in kinder garden. There were some photos of them in high schools too.
Santana and Brittany was surprised by the photos and instantly melted at the memories they shared. The pictures showed how their relationship changed as the time went by.
"I don't recall having those pictures. I think my mom kept all those childhood pictures." Santana said. She was so thankful that her mother kept those photos. Brittany and Santana stared at each other and smiled. Every pictures contained their love. They could see it in their smiles, their eyes, and their everything.
Brittany gently rested her hand on Santana's cheek and kissed her. Soon as she felt those lips on hers, she kissed her back. Few seconds later, they broke the sweetest kiss.
"I love you." Brittany said as she stared into those deep brown chocolate eyes.
"I love you too." Santana said as she stared into those clear ocean blue eyes.
"Okay, guys! I'm heading up stair." Marina said and she went up stair. Justin quickly followed his sister. But Santana and Brittany was too engrossed in each other they didn't even noticed their kids had left. When they were staring at each other with the love and adoration, the world just seems to disappear behind them.
