I don't own twilight. Everything belongs to the original owners, nor do I make money writing this. However, this story belongs to me.
Chapter four
I tugged the straps that were around my guard, Jasper. I made it so that he couldn't escape. I placed the necklace around his neck that would render his powers useless. When I was satisfied, I moved back to admire my work. Not once while he was sitting in the chair did he fight me. I smirked.
I bent to his level and waved my hand over his face to remove the control I had over him. His blue eyes no longer had red rings. He stared to fight against the restraints.
"Stop fighting it," I said in a bored tone rolling my eyes. "You'll never escape them."
"What have you done?" he gasped out, still fighting it. "Where am I?
"You thought you and your family could come to my home and destroy me." I pulled a chair a few feet away from where he was sitting. "You woke me from my slumber," I sat down. "I was in peace. It's your family's selfishness that will destroy all of you. I've been keeping you here as my pet for the past two years."
"No!" He shouted.
"Your brother has captured my mate. Where is his hideout?"
"How should I know? You've kept me as your pet." He smirked. He thought he was slick, but they always know where their kind is. In a blink of an eye, I had my hand around his neck, slowly squeezing. Jasper's eyes went wide, and his face started turning red. I needed to know. I couldn't kill him. I relaxed my grip and moved away.
"It's never in one spot for long," He panted and swallowed. "I could tell you now, but by the time you get there, they could be gone." Fuck! This doesn't help. I ran my hand through my hair.
"Well, you are no help." I walked over to him and waved my hand over his face regaining control. He sat there like a statue. I went into my bedroom and laid in bed.
After the burning stopped, I crouched down to catch my breath. It took a significant toll on me. I could feel her. She was alive after all this time. There was an energy within me that was building. It became so overwhelming. I could feel the power grow in intensity from within me. Still crouched, I let out an ethereal scream. I could feel the force leave my body. I fell to the floor, gasping for air.
Small pieces of sand and dust started gathering from around me. I looked up and saw a glass substance forming in the air. It looked like a mirror. I stood up slowly on my shaky legs and went to the mirror. At first, it was my reflection staring back at me, but then it transformed into a woman with long, wavy, brown hair. Her warm brown eyes were staring back into my own. This was my Isabella. Her beauty couldn't be compared to anything I could've imagined. My dreams did her no justice.
I wanted to reach out my hands and stroke her face. I needed her in my arms. Everything in my body called for her. I must find her, I thought. Suddenly, another person was standing behind her. His blonde hair gave him away, James.
Just as his image appeared, the glass substance fell apart into a million little pieces.
What do you think Jasper is? What do you think Edward is? Let me know.
