Chapter 5: Q-Bee
Jon was being guided downstairs by Jazz, having been told over the phone what happened, and guided him to the chamber with the Fenton Stockade.
"What is this about, Jazz?" Jon asked.
"Someone else from your world arrived. Danny says it's a blonde girl in a red hood." She explained.
Before reaching the door to the chamber, he stopped in his tracks. To Jazz's surprise, he had a horrified look on his face.
"BB Hood is here?!" He asked.
"I… guess? But don't worry, Danny says he's got her in a stockade like Lord Raptor." She assured.
Hearing that, Jon took a breath and followed her down the stairs.
There, inside one stockade, was BB Hood, calling out in rage.
"LET ME OUT OF THIS DAMNED THING! I'M WARNIN' YA! I'LL KICK ALL YOUR ASSES! YA HEAR ME, DAMN IT?!" She shouted, baring her teeth at Danny and the rest.
Danny, hovering outside, crossed his arms and glared at her.
"Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?" He asked.
She only grinned in response.
"I kissed you with it…" BB tells him.
Hearing that made Danny shiver in fear, disgust and anxiety.
Sam and Tucker shared a concerned look.
"I don't think I've ever seen him that terrified before…" Sam whispered.
"She's somehow scaring him more than any ghost did…" Tucker says.
"Do… I even wanna know what that meant?" Jon asked.
Seeing him now present, Danny calmed as he landed.
"So… you know who this is?" Tucker asked.
"Baby Bonnie "Bulleta" Hood…" Jon explained. "One of the top Dark Hunters of my world."
"What is she? A mummy? An alien? A skinwalker?" Jazz asked.
"Physically, she's a normal human being… mentally, she's more of a monster than we are… Bare in mind, I'm a werewolf and someone I know is a succubus, a demon with the potential to drain a human's life energy. And yet, all of us agree this girl is just… evil." Jon said.
"I agree…" Danny said, still haunted by the memory of that kiss.
He'd rather get another visit from Lord Beerus than go through that again.
"You okay?" Tucker asked, noticing the look on Danny's face
"Come on… we got food, let's just… go upstairs… away from her." Danny said, gesturing to BB.
As soon as they start going, BB Hood calls out to Danny.
"Come back, handsome freak of nature! I promise I'll only sever one of your legs!" She said almost sweetly.
This made Danny use his powers to phase through everyone and fly past them to the kitchen.
Tucker looked to an equally disturbed Sam.
"Aren't you gonna... you know, get defensive?" Tucker asked.
"Danny knows she's evil... besides, she's crazy and I saw all kinds of firearms in her basket. Even I know better than to pick a fight with that..."
Elsewhere, in Amity Park's skies.
A woman with insect wings flies through the skies.
Look at all the yummy thingzz… and I think there's plenty of malezz in cazze I need to populate here… She thought.
She was actually considering it. A new world, new prey, new mates and a new hive to have.
That's when she saw something in front of her.
It was a flock of ducks. They looked to be fully grown and rather plump.
Q-Bee licked her lips.
"Well… may azz well have a little zznack before I find that werewolf…" She said to herself.
Once she got close enough, she got her stinger ready.
In Fenton Works
They were at the kitchen table.
Jon returned to his wolf form as he stuffed a burger into his large mouth.
"Finally… I finished that bowl of pasta from earlier… I needed this." He said.
''Me too..." Tucker said, eating his own and Jon continued to eat in a rather sloppy manner.
Jazz and Sam, meanwhile, stared at him in disapproval.
I liked the shirtless guy better… They thought.
Danny didn't know this, as he asked Jon the following question:
"So… what's… BB's deal, exactly? Why does she… hunt?" Danny asked, nervous and uncomfortable asking about her.
"No one really knows. Some say a werewolf murdered her grandmother, some say a Darkstalker murdered her parents, some say she was just born with a desire to inflict pain and misery and just uses Darkstalkers as an excuse to get away with it. Granted, I've heard she sometimes captures wanted humans, but I'd rather not think about that." Jon said.
Team Phantom were disturbed to hear all of this, especially the last part.
"The sooner we get psychopathic girl out of this world, the better…" Danny muttered.
"What was that she said about kissing you?" Jon asked.
Danny immediately shuddered and had a freaked out look on his face. He didn't answer, so his friends tried to explain.
"She… likes him. Like… like-likes him while also wanting to maim him." Tucker explained.
Jon stopped eating and just stared at that.
"Seriously?" He asked in disbelief.
"Like, I'm guessing she's of our age range, even though while putting her in the stockade, she made some really PG-13 and above level comments towards Danny that-"
Sam ribs him.
"Tucker… shut up." She said while motioning her head towards Danny.
Danny still looked like he's just out of his skin after that.
It made the techno geek realize his mistake.
"Oops… sorry…" Tucker said apologetically.
"It's… not fine. I just really don't want that to be part of the story of when I tell my kids how I met their mother someday…" Danny admits.
"Dude, you're not implying she'd try to-"
"DON'T… even think of finishing that question, Tucker." Danny said, holding a hand out.
As the girls glared at Tucker for that, Jon just stared at the uncomfortable Danny.
Though he understood why he'd feel uncomfortable, he still found it hard to believe that BB Hood would be attracted to anyone, much less someone who is half-ghost, given her profession.
"And here I thought she was asexual…" He said to himself.
As Danny chewed his burger quietly, Jon got to thinking.
Perhaps… a way to get his mind off this? He thought.
"Danny, was it? I have an idea to get your mind off…her." Jon spoke up.
Danny looked to their guest.
"What?" He asked.
A few minutes later
Danny and Jon were now on the rooftop and the werewolf explained his idea.
"A spar?" Danny questioned.
Jon nodded.
"Yeah, you and me go at it, since I need to kill time while we wait for a way to get me home…" Jon explained. "Plus, it'll get your mind off BB Hood's interest in you..."
Danny thought about it.
He usually just fights ghosts, not werewolves. Still, anything to get the feeling of that psychopath's lips pressing on his out of his mind.
"Sure, somehow getting mauled by a werewolf is preferable..." Danny said, deciding to go for it.
Jon grinned.
"Alright, let's see what you can do..." Jon said as he got ready.
Danny nodded as he took a stance.
Danny quickly flew towards Jon, throwing a punch, which Jon evaded. Danny quickly threw a roundhouse kick, which Jon blocked before grabbing the arm and throwing Danny away, causing him to spin around before he stopped in the air, looking surprised.
"My mind is a lot clearer than when we first fought." Jon replied, noticing the surprised look on Danny's face. "So, I suggest you try something else."
"Alright then." Danny said as his eyes glowed. "Let's see if you can handle this."
Danny sunk to the floor, leaving Jon in the defensive, his eyes darting around. Suddenly, his ears twitched before he turned around, throwing a kick. Suddenly, Danny appeared, gasping for air as he flew towards the edge of the building
"Really? That's it?" Jon said with a smirk before he felt himself sinking to the floor. Surprised, he looked and saw his legs sinking to the floor. He looked at Danny, who disappeared in a puff of smoke.
Danny suddenly appeared in front of him and punched him on the face twice. He was about to punch again when Jon suddenly deflected his arm and palm struck him on the chest. He then pulled his legs out of the ground and rushed towards Danny, who was recovering.
He saw Jon coming towards him, claws raised. He quickly made a shield, deflecting the claw. He then threw a kick, which Jon blocked, not seeing another kick from Danny, hitting him across the head, sending him stumbling.
"Danny seems to be getting good at fighting." Tucker commented as they watched the sparring match.
"Well, he's been getting some training whenever he goes on his dimensional dates." Jazz commented, making Sam twitch when she heard of the dates. "There's a lot of fighting everywhere."
"Huh…makes me wonder if there's a peaceful world out there." Sam commented.
Danny charged and threw a punch that hit Jon across the face. He shook his head before he snarled. He quickly slashed at Danny, who narrowly jumped back to avoid getting hit. Jon then quickly jumped off the floor, his knee aimed at Danny, who quickly split himself up to avoid the knee. He turned around and saw Jon hit the floor with his knee, making a huge dent on the wall.
"Woah…" Danny commented as he and the others looked at the dent as Jon landed on his feet, not looking hurt from the attack.
"I should warn you; I'm holding back as best as I can." Jon commented as he got into a fighting position.
"Yeah? Same here." Danny said, grinning a little, causing the werewolf to grin too.
Meanwhile, in the Darkstalkers' World
The girls arrived in the town, where Raptor and BB Hood encountered Boomstick.
Needing disguises, Morrigan and Lilith took on normal looking appearances thanks to their magic, dressing like normal, modern day people. Hsien-Ko and Felicia, due to their appearances, had to wear cloaks.
"See anything?" Felicia asks.
"Afraid not…" Morrigan said before noticing a few handsome men waving to her as they walked by. She smiled lustfully. "Although…"
Lilith elbowed her in the side.
"Hey! We're looking for a specific male, remember? Besides, what would Jack think?" She asks.
Morrigan pouted and looked away.
"It's not like we're a couple or anything… I pay a visit to plenty of men, have a little fun, consume their dreams…" Morrigan insisted.
She noticed the other women staring at her disapprovingly.
"I get the feeling you're not just using them as a repeating source of nourishment…" Mei-Ling said.
"At least she's not hurting good men…" Hsien-Ko added.
"Shut up!" Morrigan went, almost childishly.
Although amused, the women went back to trying to find a clue.
"Now, how do we find out where Raptor went?" Felicia asks.
"Surprising that this town isn't a bloodbath, given how Raptor behaves and how BB Hood interacts even with her fellow humans." Lilith said.
"I pity any boy she shows the slightest interest in…" Felicia said, not realizing what's going on in another world.
"Now, what did the people who did this battle thing look like? Morrigan asks Felicia, who shrugged. "You don't know?"
"I never saw their faces, just that other cat-person." Felicia said.
As they groaned over this, the blue-skinned woman perked her head up.
"Do you hear that?" Hsien-Ko asked.
They all stopped talking and heard it.
It sounded like a sonic boom.
"An explosion? Morrigan asked.
"Wait… what's that over there?" Felicia asked.
They saw something was coming towards them. Something fast. It was kicking up a lot of dirt.
All of them looked unsure what to do as it approached them.
Back in Danny's world
Danny hit the floor on his back, grunting on impact.
Jon stood over Danny, arms crossed.
"Well?" He asks.
"I was right, this is still better than Bonnie kissing me…" Danny admitted.
Thankfully, Danny wasn't as bugged about it anymore and he chuckled a little.
"Well, glad that helped us both. Now, we should figure a way to-"
He stopped talking as his eyes went up.
As Danny got back up, Jon heard what could only sound like buzzing.
"What's wrong?" Danny asked.
"Trouble…"
The sound got loud enough for Danny to hear.
"Do you hear that? It sounds like a plane." Danny said.
"That's no plane… it must be her…" Jon said.
"Lemme guess? Another Darkstalker?" Danny asked.
"Yup…" Jon said as he pointed upwards.
Danny saw it too.
It was Q-Bee, licking her lips as she landed on the rooftop of the building next to them.
"What the heck…?" Jazz asked.
"There you are…" She said before burping. "Excuzze me… I got hungry and a flock of ducks just happened to crozz my path…" She says.
"Those poor birds…" Sam said.
"I see you're doing better at speaking with people…" Jon says.
"Uh… who is that?" Danny asked.
"Q-Bee… queen of the Soul Bees." He explained as he had his claws ready.
"Ooh, who izz that? Zzomeone to play with?" Q-Bee asked, spotting Danny.
"So… is she like the reason Bee Movie didn't get a sequel or…?" Danny asked.
"No, her race is just like that. Don't let her looks fool you, those things you see on her head are her real eyes, that entire face is actually her mouth." He explains.
"What?"
"The Soul Bees have an insatiable appetite, especially for souls. Her appearance being attractive by human standards is to lure victims or draw potential mates…" Jon explained.
"So… she either wants to eat someone or make babies with them? Uh… eww." Danny went.
"Whoa…" Tucker said as the rest watched. He then grinned. "I'm gonna say hi."
Before he could go, Sam smacked him behind the head.
"Did you not hear she would eat you?" She pointed out.
"I'll bring you back and I get a reward with more food for my people. They aren't zzoulzz but it's zzomething…" Q-Bee says.
Danny was about to take on this bee woman, but Jon held a claw out.
"You have kept me safe twice already, and she has already caused some trouble here, allow me to handle her for you. Don't worry, my wounds are almost healed." He insisted.
Danny was unsure of it, but he stepped back.
"Okay then…"
Jon snarled at Q-Bee, who scoffed at this.
"You made thingzz eazzier for me." She said as she flew at Jon.
Jon reacted fast with a kick before she could make her move. It sent her straight into the side of the next building. This did not stop her, as Q-Bee pulled herself off and continued her attempts at stabbing him with her stinger.
However, Jon bobbed back and forth to avoid the attack. Undaunted, Q-Bee turned around and performed her Homing Dash, tackling Jon.
As the werewolf skidded on the rooftop floor, Q-Bee raised her arms and something was formed above her head. It was a large, golden-looking ball of goop as she threw it at her foe. Jon only barely had time to avoid it as it hit the floor, splashing.
Some of it got on Tucker's shirt.
"Aw man! Wait…" He noticed it looked oddly familiar as he swiped a bit off with his finger and tasted it, much to everyone else's surprise. "Honey?"
"She threw honey at him?" Sam asked.
Meanwhile, Q-Bee's fight with Jon became more intense, and, to this world's standards, stranger.
As in, they were about to see things go unexpectedly crazy.
She grabbed him and tried to sting him, but Jon grabbed the stinger before it could hit him.
"Not… this… time!" He said to her as he tried to pull it away from him.
Q-Bee, however, chose a different method to attack. She flew backwards.
"I'm not done yet!" She shouted.
Once both hands were brought together, they somehow formed into a honeycomb-like object that released giant bees that attacked Jon.
Team Phantom only watched with an absolute loss of words.
"Did I just see that?" Jazz asked.
"You did…" Sam said.
Tucker and Danny nodded blankly as the fight continued.
Jon kicked a few of the giant bees, but more came out.
"I am in no mood for your disgusting antics!" Jon shouted.
"My petzz are eager to sting you, just as I am!" Q-Bee yells.
Jon slashed at these giant bees, reducing them to shreds as they seemingly disappeared upon hitting the floor.
"So… those weren't real bees?" Sam asked.
"I think it best we just let these two have it out…" Jazz said.
Team Phantom only nodded as the fight continued.
Q-Bee was about to sting him once more as she sped up, but he got out of the way again.
"Try as you might, you can't get me!" Jon shouted.
"I don't have to…" She said under her breath in amusement.
Jon was running towards her before someone called out to him.
"Jon! Look out!" Danny shouted.
Jon was too late as he slipped on the honey, falling onto the floor from the stickiness.
"Oh no!" Jon shouted.
"You're mine… one sting should be enough to knock you out." Q-Bee said.
"Gotta… get out!" Jon shouted as he tried to get out of the honey.
She homed in on Jon once more, intent to use her stinger.
Jon was barely able to get on his legs as he got up and saw the stinger coming at him.
One way out of this… He thought.
To everyone's shock, the stinger reached his face.
CHOMP.
Everyone looked away, thinking they were going to hear him wailing in pain. However, once Danny opened one eye to see, he looked surprised.
"Look!" He went as everyone saw it.
Even the bee lady was stunned by what she saw.
"W-What?!" Q-Bee asked loudly.
Jon caught her stinger in his jaws, able to keep it from piercing anything as his teeth stopped it.
With his jaw strength, Jon swung his head downward, slamming her into her own honey.
Panicking, Q-Bee tried to get up, but found herself unable to stand up straight as the honey made her slip. Her wings were too soaked to even fly.
"Huh… I thought bees liked honey?" Jon asked mockingly.
The bee lady tried snap at him but she found difficulty to get up.'
"NO!" Q-Bee whined as she tried to get on all fours.
Team Phantom looked relieved by this.
"Okay… Jon wins… now, let's get that stuff off." Danny said as he hovered to their werewolf guest.
Jon started liking the honey on his arm.
"It may take me a while…" Jon said.
"I got it." Danny said, putting a hand on Jon's shoulder and using his intangibility to make the honey fall. Once turning Jon tangible again, Danny looked to Q-Bee. "As for you…"
With a blue glow in his eyes, he fired beams that froze the honey, and trapped Q-Bee in ice.
"What?! No!" Q-Bee shouted.
"Thanks, Kid." Jon said.
Danny nodded as he rose to make a fist bump. Jon only stared at it before shrugging and did so.
Danny looked at Q-Bee and got serious.
"Okay, Bee Lady, if you want out, you're gonna answer our questions. First off, how'd you know Jon was in my world?" Danny asked, demanding an answer.
Seeing herself unable to get out, Q-Bee sighed and gave in.
"It was some fat, grozz-looking human." Q-Bee says.
"Fat… gross-looking?" Jon asked, unfamiliar with that.
Danny had one idea.
"Wait… does this guy look like a trucker? And did he have a shotgun-leg?"
"Yes. So grozz looking that even I wouldn't eat him." Q-Bee says.
"Boomstick…" Danny said.
"Who?" Jon asked, not familiar with that.
"That's one of the two Death Battle guys… he's… kind of an idiot." Danny said.
"He izz, the reazzon Talbain izz here izz becauzze he wazz drunk when doing whatever it izz they do when they fixzz damage caused by their battlezz…" Q-Bee says.
"Yeah… that sounds like Boomstick." Danny said with an exasperated sigh.
"So… he sent you, Raptor and Hood after me to hide what he did?" Jon asked.
"Indeed." She said before remembering something. "Wait… Hood izz here?! Where izz she?!" She asked, dreading coming across her.
"She's locked up… you guys can keep her… in her stockade. I'll help seal it in." Danny offers, almost urgently.
Q-Bee only stared at Danny in confusion before looking at Jon.
"It seems our psychopathic little friend has experienced the closest thing to love for our superhero here." Jon says.
Both Q-Bee's fake eyes and real eyes widened in shock.
"Oh wow… that izz… zzomehow worzze than trying to kill uzz… I pity anyone living thing she hazz the slightest attraction towardzz… uh, no offenzze." She says to Danny, almost meaning it.
"Some taken…" Danny says, raising an eyebrow.
"If you were sent to retrieve me, that means you know of a way back home." Jon points out.
"Why would I tell you?" Q-Bee asks.
"Because the longer you are here, the longer you are away from your hive." Jon pointed out.
"Plus, Raptor won't tell us and the only thing BB Hood wants to do with her mouth is to close mine with it…" Danny said, hissing after that last part.
At first, Q-Bee only glared at the two before sighing, realizing Jon's point.
"Fine… I will tell you where am I zzuppozzed to meet him…" She says, giving in.
Danny and Jon shared a smile.
"I guess you're going home."
"I guess so. We'll have to bring Raptor and Hood though…" Jon pointed out.
Danny groaned at that.
"Great… a mouthy zombie and a psychopath with the hots for me…" He complained.
Jon chuckled at that.
However, it was then he felt something. It was something Q-Bee felt as well.
Both of them stopped what they were doing as the looked away.
It was now sunset as something felt like it was coming towards them.
Danny, and the rest of Team Phantom, noticed how oddly quiet they were.
It was as if they were hearing something only they can.
"Uh, are you hearing something?" Sam asked.
Jon gave no answer.
"Jon?" Danny asked.
He then noticed the odd look on Jon's face. He looked terrified, gulping very loudly.
He then turned to look at Jazz, Sam and Tucker.
"ALL OF YOU! GET BACK INSIDE! NOW!" He demanded.
They just stood there.
"Huh?" Jazz asked.
"I SAID NOW!" He ordered.
Sam was about to argue, but Danny held a hand out.
"I'm guessing what they're picking up, it must be something bad…" Danny then flew to the other side of Q-Bee's ice block and kicked her, sliding her to the doorway, causing her to go down the stairs. "Keep an eye on her for now."
Although not liking, Sam nodded as she went with Jazz and Tucker into the doorway.
Once through, Jazz shut it as Tucker went to the still frozen Q-Bee and grinned.
"So… got any bee babes looking for a mate?" He asked.
Q-Bee scowled at him.
"When it comezz to matezz and nourishment… we aren't that needy…" She said.
Tucker frowned in disappointment.
Meanwhile, Jon was still on the defensive as what he sensed was starting to look clearer.
Danny had to blink a few times as he saw it.
"Is that… a bat? That's what you're freaked out by?" Danny asked incredulously.
"That isn't just any bat…" Jon warned.
The bat flew in, landing in front of them.
Jon was inching back as Danny saw this and started to think.
Wait a minute… a werewolf, from a world that has a bug lady and an undead rockstar… and his girlfriend is a cat person… so… does that mean that bat is…? He thought.
His thoughts were answered when the bat suddenly changed forms.
In a puff of smoke, someone appeared in front of them.
Someone almost 7 feet tall, in blue with red hair and fangs.
"Ah… Talbain… there you are…" The man who encountered Boomstick said.
"Demitri Maximoff…" Jon says, feeling tense in his presence.
About time we got back to this.

Yeah, she's definitely not someone Danny wants to be around.
