The thought of home suddenly doesn't sound as wonderful. The desire to be rescued is perished by the thought of good-bye. Unfortunately, we are nearing England. Then it struck me: What if I'll never see Jack again?

Simon tries to get Piggy and Roger to make up...it's complicated. There is a tiny bit of Roger/Simon fluff at the end. I hope this doesn't suck.

This is a rewrite of the end of the novel. Ralph awakes in the middle of the night, and finds himself face to face with the Lord Of The Flies.

Simon has always longed to be somewhere no one can find him. Jack is always bullying him, and his family life isn't much better than at school. His shyness makes him awkward. Can anything make his life any worse? Rated T for sad, sad, sadness.
