We see him and Elsie, when they talk to Lord and Lady Grantham, they both have that cute smug on their faces...So I figured, that something really interesting must have happened that caused that smug...Here is my idea for that...

Just a little snippet about Violet finally understanding something important and deciding that "it's time". My first attempt at writing for DA, it's really short but that "moment" got stuck in my brain and I couldn't let it pass without trying to write it.

I want to explore the past of my favorite trio: Elsie/Charles/Beryl. I will devote one chapter to the childhood of each of them and then I will write how their roads crossed at Downton and how they became friends for life. As I said, it's not like it was in the series, just my idea of that. I hope you will like this.
