Season Six in 23 scenes with Prologue and Epilogue. A satirical rendering of the final season, it is not quite what we hope for or expect for our favourites. Apologies to Julian Fellowes for dragging him into this. Disclaimer: Characters, concept, and setting belong indisputably to Mr. Fellowes. They are only borrowed here in good faith and good humour. Summer 1921. A heatwave hits Downton, but the temperature isn't the only factor warming things up. Set between 3.8 and the S3 CS.

Done with his time on the stage, Charlie Carson wants to return to his old way of life but returning to the Abbey he finds a less than cheery reception - and it seems he is not the only one to have fallen in his Lordship's favor.

Long before the Titanic set sail, Mary Crawley knew that men could never be the object of her desire. When her fiancée leaves for America, Mary finds herself drawn to the head house maid, Anna Smith, who has long been infatuated with her. But as they conduct their affair, the two women are soon conflicted by their love, which they have been long taught is deviant and blasphemous.

Modern AU. In which John is curious and Anna is clueless.

After her release from prison, Anna must not only live with the uncertainty of her husband's fate, but she must also confront the fact that her attack has become public knowledge. Oneshot set at the end of S5.

What happens when your whole world changes? The life you have always known ripped away, and in its place a new identity, and a new love. Only time can tell what will happen. This story is a canon AU reimagining Matthew and Mary's relationship from the beginning.

Lord Grantham reviews the whole Pamuk incident and is dismayed.

This story began from a prompt on Tumblr where anonymous asked: "Matthew is one of Roberts proteges with whom Mary has been in love with forever. He dates many women and one day finally starts to see Mary differently." Will likely be updated as prompts are sent in to my Tumblr. Modern AU setting, but different from my other stories.
