CHAPTER 3: Underestimated/Subestimado
POV'S JACK
Arendelle woods
We landed in that strange and wet place; there was a lot of steam everywhere.
-This is good for the frostbite- Bunny put his front paws over the steam to get warm.
-Kristoff!- A bunch of rolling rocks surprised me.
Anna's husband was who leads Elsa, the guardians, and me to that place; the young woman has stayed at home taking care of her little child despite his insistence on riding the sled.
-Hi everyone- the blond man waved at them.
It took us a while explaining to him the situation and trying to convince him that we were real and that his wife and sister-in-law hadn't turned crazy, but in the end, we did.
-What brings you here?- the rocks turned into little and funny strange beings –You know something about the water and it disappearance?- asked the Troll that seemed to be the leader.
-That is why we are here- Elsa gave a little step forward and leaned at the high of the magic creature to speak with him.
-What is happening now?- he crossed his stone arms with a smile on his face.
-Apparently, a maniac called Pitch Black has under his control to Nokk- Kristoff explained.
-Pitch Black?- he arched his eyebrows without understanding who we were talking about –I haven't heard that name before-
Sandy tried to illustrate him drawing over his head the Pitch's shape.

-Well- he sighed –If you say that this creature uses the darkness… then you should use the opposite-
-That is how we defeated him the last time- Tooth said.
An idea crossed my mind –I have something in mind. What if we use Sandy's sand to try to take Nokk out of his control?- I suggested.
-It could work; after all, the best way to fight the darkness is the light- The elder Troll gave his approbation.

–We don't have anything to lose-

This was going out of control, someone needs to say something, but everyone was deadly quiet between awkward stares.

-So, what is the next right thing to do?- Anna asked once she set foot in the room after leaving her child sleeping, it was too late for to him being awake.
-We are going to plan our military strategy!- Answered the agreeable man while he devours one of the chocolate chips cookies that Anna sent to make for everyone –Elsa!, do you have any idea about where can be Nokk?- he asked with his habitual energy.
Elsa didn't have doubts –He has to be near from Ahtohallan, in the Dark Sea, that is sure-
-Ahtohallan? It's real?- Tooth fairy asked excited at hearing that name.
-Yes, it's my home- Elsa answered.
-It's so beautiful as they say?- She was curious.
Elsa nodded with a peaceful smile on her face –Is the most beautiful place in the world for me-
-We must go there!- Tooth said to North.
-Oh, we will- he smiled –But, how we get there?- North asked again Elsa.
-Nokk always took me there- she made a grin remembering that detail –I guess that your sled can get there too-
-Done, we are leaving now- North stood.
-Wait- Jack raised his hand stopping him – Nokk isn't the water spirit?- he stated the issue –If we confront him, without hurting him of course; won't we have to do it in the water?-
-True, he won't come out of his territory, we are gonna have to go to him- Bunny nodded.
-So, unless your reindeers can float, I think that the best thing is to look for another way- Jack sarcastically said while he balanced himself on one of the wooden beams of the ceiling.
-Freeze the water- North said, as it was something obvious.

Aterrizamos en aquel curioso y humeante lugar, había mucho vapor en todas partes.
-Esto sienta bien para el frio- Conejo puso sus patas delanteras sobre el vapor para calentarse.
-Kristoff- Un montón de rocas me sorprendieron cuando llegaron rodando.
El esposo de Anna era quien nos había acompañado a mí, Elsa y los guardianes; la joven mujer se había quedado con su pequeño hijo para cuidarlo ante las protestas de él por querer dar un paseo en el trineo.
-Hola chicos- el rubio los saludó.
Tomó un poco de tiempo en explicarle lo que sucedía y convencerlo de que éramos reales y que su esposa y cuñada no se habían vuelto locas, pero lo habíamos logrado.
-¿Qué te trae por aquí?- las rocas se convirtieron en pequeños seres raros y curiosos -¿Sabes algo sobre el porqué el agua ha desaparecido?- preguntó el Troll que parecía ser el líder.
-Por eso estamos aquí- Elsa dio un paso adelante y se inclinó a la altura de la criatura mágica para hablar con él.
-¿Ahora qué cosas raras están sucediendo?- se cruzó de brazos con una sonrisa.
-Al parecer un sujeto llamado Pitch Black tiene bajo su control a Nokk- explicó Kristoff.
-¿Pitch Black?- arqueó una ceja sin entender de quien hablaban –No me suena ese nombre-
Sandy dibujó su silueta sobre su cabeza para intentar ilustrarlo.
-No, lo siento- negó con la cabeza.
-Este sujeto es un ser poderoso que se alimenta de los más grandes miedos de las personas y creo que esta vez no se conformara solo con asustar a los niños- Norte se cruzó de brazos pensativo –Por lo que si tiene alguna idea de lo que podamos hacer para recuperar al espíritu del agua, de verdad se lo agradeceríamos mucho- podía sentir el nerviosismo en su voz.
-Bueno…- suspiró –Si comentan que esta criatura se alimenta del miedo, entonces tal vez deberían usar lo contrario-
-Es así como lo derrotamos la vez pasada- Tooth contó.
Una idea vino a mi mente –Se me ocurre algo, ¿y si usamos la arena dorada de Sandy para tratar de sacarlo de su control?- sugerí.
-Podría funcionar, después de todo, la mejor manera de combatir la oscuridad es con luz- el jefe de los Trolls me dio su aprobación.
-Podemos intentarlo- Norte se encogió de hombros –No perdemos nada con intentar-
-No estén tan seguro de ello- interrumpió el Troll –No saben que tan fuerte se ha vuelto este ser de oscuridad por lo que deberían ser precavidos-
-Tiene razón- Conejo habló –realmente no sabemos con qué nos vamos a enfrentar, la vez pasada el logró manipular la arena de Sandy para convertirla en pesadillas, no sabemos si puede volver a hacerlo o incluso algo mucho peor, recuerden que se acaba de apoderar de un espíritu-
Nos miramos mutuamente sabiendo que Conejo tenía un buen argumento.
-Si es capaz de tomar el control de Nokk… entonces tal vez pueda hacer lo mismo con Gale, Bruni y los gigantes de Piedra- Elsa habló –todos podrían estar en peligro, incluso ahora mismo en este momento- se veía preocupada.
-Eso te incluiría- comentó Kristoff.
Ella dirigió su mirada a su amigo -¿Yo?-
-Eres el quinto espíritu-
-Es una gran posibilidad- el Troll la miró con lastima.
–Y sabiendo que él se puede alimentar de los miedos e inseguridades de las personas…- el rubio se frotó la nuca con temor por lo que acababa de decir.
-¿Qué insinúas?- la chica inmediatamente se puso a la defensiva –yo no tengo miedo o inseguridades, ya no, eso quedó en el pasado- respondió con un tono frio y seguro.
-El pasado siempre será parte de nosotros- Tooth puso una mano sobre su hombro –pero tranquila, todos te cuidaremos-
Elsa apartó la mano de Tooth con delicadeza, pero con una cara no muy amigable –Gracias, pero soy perfectamente capaz de cuidarme sola-
Esto se estaba saliendo de control, alguien tenía que decir algo, pero todos permanecían en completo silencio con miradas incomodas.
-Yo creo que tiene razón- alcé la voz –así como no debemos subestimar a nuestros enemigos, tampoco debemos hacerlo con nuestros aliados- mi pecho se infló por un segundo con orgullo, eso había sonado mejor de lo que esperaba y sorpresivamente el rostro de Elsa se había relajado.
-Tú también deberías tener cuidado- Aquel momento de gloria fue interrumpido casi instantáneamente al escuchar esas palabras del Troll.
-¡Hey!- lo miré molesto -¿No escuchaste lo que acabo de decir?-

PDV DE 3RA PERSONA
De vuelta en Arendelle
-Bien, ¿Cuál es el siguiente paso?- preguntó Anna una vez entró en la habitación después de dejar a su hijo en su habitación, ya era muy tarde para que él permaneciera despierto.
-¡Planear nuestra estrategia de batalla!- Contestó el hombre bonachón mientras devoraba unas galletas que Anna había mandado a hacer para todos -¡Elsa!, ¿tienes alguna idea de donde podremos encontrar a Nokk?- le preguntó con su habitual energía.
Elsa no dudó en responder –Definitivamente tiene que estar cerca de Ahtohallan, en el Mar Oscuro-
-¿Ahtohallan? ¿de verdad existe?- El Hada de los Dientes se emocionó al escuchar aquel nombre.
-Sí, es donde vivo-
-Increíble, ¿es tan hermoso como dicen?- preguntó emocionada.
Elsa asintió con una pequeña sonrisa en su rostro –Es el lugar más hermoso del mundo para mí-
-Definitivamente tenemos que ir- Tooth le dijo a Norte.
-E iremos- le sonrió -¿Cómo llegamos hasta allá?- Norte le preguntó de nuevo a Elsa.
-Nokk me llevaba hasta allá- hizo una mueca al recordar este detalle –supongo que su trineo también es capaz de llegar-
-Solucionado, partiremos en cuanto antes- Norte se puso de pie.
-Espera- Jack levantó la mano haciendo un gesto para que se detuviera -¿Qué acaso Nokk no es el espíritu del agua?- planteó el problema –cuando nos enfrentemos a él, sin hacerle daño, por su puesto, ¿no tendremos que hacerlo en el agua?-
-Jack tiene razón, no saldrá fuera de su territorio, tendremos que ir hacia él- Conejo asintió.
-Entonces, a menos que tus renos puedan flotar creo que será mejor buscar otra vía- Jack comentó burlonamente mientras se equilibraba sobre una de las vigas del techo.
-Entonces congela el agua- Norte dijo como si se tratara de algo obvio.
-¿Congelar el océano?- Jack se rio con ironía –No es sencillo, toma tiempo- se rascó la nuca pensando.
-¿Tu no puedes hacerlo?- Anna le pregunto a su hermana.
-Solo si Nokk lo permite- Suspiró –Como él dijo, no es algo sencillo y menos luchando contra las olas enfurecidas-
-Pero, supongo que si lo hacemos juntos…- Jack se encogió de hombros.
-Sí, tal vez nuestros poderes combinados podrían hacerlo- Concluyó ella.
-Aun así, sería mucho mejor para ustedes hacerlo en algo más o menos estable y no un trineo que necesita estar en movimiento- Kristoff habló –algo como un barco-
-¿No estaríamos muy expuestos?- preguntó Tooth.
-Mientras ellos dos estén cerca creo que podremos controlar a Nokk- dijo Conejo.
-Entonces eso haremos, viajaremos en barco, una vez estemos cerca la pelea se desarrollará en el mar, intentaremos someter a Nokk y entonces Sandy usará su arena mágica- Norte resumió el plan.
-Un viaje en barco tomara días- Elsa protestó -necesitamos actuar rápido antes de que llegue a los demás.
-Llegaremos en un segundo usando mi portal- sacó de su bolsillo el globo de nieve -¡Andando!, esto va a ser épico, los guardianes y la realeza haciendo equipo para enfrentarse a Pitch Black- Norte abrazó a Anna y Tooth.
-¡Lo sé!, esto es emocionante- Anna chilló de alegría.
-De ninguna manera permitiré que ustedes dos vayan- Elsa miró a Anna y Kristoff con determinación –es muy peligroso-
Kristoff y Anna suspiraron con fastidio –Elsa, hemos atravesado dos misiones sin tener poderes y hemos salido completamente ilesos- El hombre rubio argumentó.
-¿Entonces dejaran solo a Einar?- La rubia platinada se cruzó de brazos.
-Claro que no, Gerda está ahora mismo cuidándolo y lo hará muy bien por el resto de la noche, volveremos mañana temprano- Anna se apresuró a decir colocando sus manos en la cintura.
-No es para nada una idea sensata- suspiró.
-Nuestro reino está en peligro Elsa, ayudaremos- La pareja dijo al mismo tiempo.
-Tranquila, nada les pasara mientras estemos cerca- Norte trató de calmarla –tienen un grupo enorme de guardaespaldas-
-Recuerda no subestimar- Jack susurró mientras pasaba al lado de Elsa.
