It would not be until that Wednesday that anything would happen. On both Tuesday and the bulk of Wednesday, Vanitas hardly said a thing to Ventus, instead he spent his time either doing schoolwork or he would be out of the house entirely. It was getting to the point where Ven was getting restless without sex. Though he felt this way, he was too nervous to initiate anything with Vanitas. He tried to think of anything else, but no matter how hard he tried his mind would eventually wander to the feeling of his cock buried inside of his brother. It was getting to the point where he was worried for his own sanity. They were at school and it was lunch time. At their school, Destiny High School there were two lunch periods, which Ventus shared with Sora, his close friends Riku and Kairi, and Vanitas. Terra and Aqua though were in the other period.

Although today was different. The week before the other local school Fantasy High School had burned down in the middle of the night. Due to strange zoning restrictions both schools had less than half of their full capacity, but most of the students still lived in a relatively small area. So the other students were now going to Destiny High, at least for a while, and they had started that day. So Ven was sitting at a table with Sora and his friends while everyone got adjusted.

"Hey Ventus are you feeling alright?" Kairi asked, as Ventus stared at his food thinking about Vanitas's lips around his cock.

"Huh- Oh I'm fine, just tired."

"That's what happens when you stay up all night playing video games Ven." Joked Sora causing the others to laugh.

"Says 'The King of Staying Up Late.'" Replied Ven. They all laughed again as Vanitas, who rarely ate lunch or even sat down, let alone both at the same table as his brothers proceeded to walk up to the table with a tray.

"What's up everyone?" Said Vanitas, not really looking at anyone, just staring with disdain at his meal.

"Oh look who has decided to grace us with his presence." Said Sora with a smile, while Ventus tried not to stare at his older brothers rear end. It didn't help that Vanitas chose the spot next to him, but still sat reasonably far away. Though it felt too far to Ventus.

Vanitas replied saying "Always a pleasure for my adoring fans." They all laughed and began to eat and made small talk, except for Vanitas who just ate in silence and only looked up occasionally. After five minutes or so Vanitas stopped eating and leaned in close to the others, causing Riku to stop going on about the week before's soccer game. Everyone looked at Vanitas except for Kairi who stared down at her food when he leaned in. "So-" He began looking at a slightly guilty looking Sora. "Did you plan on telling me and Ven that you told Kairi about us?"

"What!?" Called out Ventus a little too loudly, causing Vanitas to glare at him as Kairi turned red in the face. Sora composed himself a little and smiled.

"I thought you were going to figure it out on your own. Plus I like having all of my teeth."

"You told her?" Asked Ven a little louder than he thought he would. "He told you?" He looked at Kairi who turned redder as Riku laughed a bit.

"Why don't you just put in on a billboard?" Asked Vanitas angrily.

"Because that would have been expensive." Replied Sora matter-of-factly.

"You know what's also expensive? Rhinoplasty!"

"Jokes on you Vanitas, I don't know what that means."

"Nose surgery." Chimed in Riku laughing a little.

"Thanks Riku." Replied Sora giggling a bit. Now Vanitas turned his head to look at Kairi, who jumped a little.

"And you better not say anything to-" Suddenly Vanitas stopped, his eyes widening as he looked past Kairi, mouth still open a little. Sora and Riku stopped looking at each other to turn towards where Vanitas was looking as Kairi and Ven, a bit slower on the uptake, did the same.

All that the four saw was a group of students from Fantasy High that they did not recognize, and for the most part neither did Vanitas, who finished his thought in a much calmer tone "Xion" and shot up from his chair. "I'll be right back." He began to walk over to the group who, out of the six or seven teens, he recognized one of. His mind drifting back two years to a few days Roxas left.

He thought of the things he was going through and thought back to the older blonde he recognized from the table. The one he met on the cliff.

Not sure why he had gotten up or what he was even going to say, he composed himself and when he had almost reached the table the boy looked up and dropped his own jaw.

Vanitas now close to the table looked at the boy expressionless as the blonde composed himself and said. "Hello."

"Hey." Replied Vanitas as another boy, one with brown hair and a scar on his face turned to the blonde who's name Vanitas didn't even know and asked. "A friend of yours?"

"You could say that Squall." Replied the blonde, who was looking at Vanitas "Now, we never really introduced ourselves did we?"

"No I can't say we did." By now Vanitas was aware of the curious Ventus having walked up next to him, and said. "My name is Vanitas Skye."

"I'm Cloud Strife." Vanitas thought back to the cliff those years ago. When they met and never exchanged a hello. He thought of that night that out of grief was almost his and Cloud's last. The one they spent together.

After three and a half years I have finally decided to scrap this story. When I began this story, I was not in a good place mentally, something that you may be able to tell from this story's contents, having said that I want to move past the part of my life that this story represents. I will keep this story up, but it will no longer be worked on. I will continue to write stories in a similar setting to this story, so if after all this time any long time readers are seeing that I updated all of the chapters to have this message at the end I hope that you continue to follow me for more content.
