As warm sunny days with few responsibilities are theirs to enjoy, Mary and Matthew's friendship continue to grow. This story is a sequel to "Christmas Past and Present".

This is my first fan fiction posting. I have spent many many years on the nonfiction writing world so I found this fun. The story takes place with some missing scenes from Matthew's Christmas proposal to Mary. Not that I didn't think the original was beautiful... Mary shows Sybil the new shower she's had installed at Downton. She insists that before Sybil and Tom move into their cottage, that Sybil try it.
