A/N: Hello hello! Chapter 3 is here and it's slightly longer than the other chapters but I managed to fit everything I wanted in here. I hope you find this as enjoyable to read as it was for me to write!

"Hurry it up will you now?" Uncle Vernon snapped as he popped open the back trunk of the car. "Get your ruddy trunks and let's go!" The Potter twins hurriedly, and quite gladly, got out of the cramped little car to retrieve their school rusacks from the ugly burgundy red car. The month of August had passed by rather slowly, mostly occupied by their new chores. It seemed that now that Angeline was living with them that the Dursleys thought she should do her fair share too.

Aunt Petunia stayed with Dudley in the car, mostly to keep him company but also not wanting the general public to see the pig's tail that was attached to Dudley's behind should he happen to wander. That left Uncle Vernon to walk the twins into King's Cross Station. Wheeling their trolleys along the station, there was one question on both of their minds. How in the world were they going to find 3/4s of a station?

"Here's Platform Nine and there's Ten. I would imagine your's to be somewhere in between but it doesn't seem to me like they've built it yet have they?" Uncle Vernon asked with a nasty smile. "Well, have a good term."

Even as their uncle walked away, they could still hear his guwaffing laughter. Angeline and Harry looked at each other. "You know, he is right," Angeline said uncertainly. "How are we going to find Platform Nine and Three-Quarters? Did Hagrid or Dumbledor tell you anything?"

Harry shook his head. "And I can assume neither did Snape and Dumbledor when he visited you?"

Angeline shook her head grimly as well. "Well, there have bound to be other students coming. We can probably watch them."

"If they haven't already gotten onto the platform that is," Harry replies. For the next couple of minutes, the twins circled around Platforms Nine and Ten, desperately trying to find a secret entrance to their destination as passerbyers occasionally gave them funny looks.

"Wait Harry!" Angeline whispered, grabbing a fistful of her brother's clothes as he went to make another pass around the station. "Look there!"

Harry turned to where his sister was looking and saw a family, each of the kids pushing a trolley just like them. The twins moved forward, catching several words that made their hope skyrocket.

"Packed full of muggles of course," the short plump woman said as she fussed with the girl, presumably her daughter. "Now where was it again?"

"Platform Nine and Three-Quarters!" the girl piped up. "Can't I go mum?"

"Oh hush! You aren't old enough! Well then Percy, how about you go on through first."

The eldest boy of the group nodded and began pushing his trolley forward but before Harry and Angeline could get a good look, a crowd of tourists passed by, obstructing their vision significantly. By the time they passed, he was gone.

"Alright, Fred you're next!"

"I'm not Fred, I'm George! You can't tell us apart and you call yourself our mother? Honestly woman!" one of the two redheaded twins said in an overly exasperated tone.

"I'm sorry George."

"I'm pulling your leg. I'm actually Fred," he began but thought wiser given the look his mother was giving him. He walked at a smart pace and his other twin called out to hurry up.

Well, Harry reckoned he must've because he suddenly disappeared, nowhere to be seen. The second twin went next and just as he reached the barrier, he also vanished. Angeline nudged him forward. It was time to ask. The two wheeled their trolleys towards the last three members of the family.

"Umm excuse me. My brother and I were wondering-" Angeline began.

"How to get onto the station?" the woman finished kindly.

"Er-yes. It's both me and my sister's first year and no one has told us how to get onto the platform," Harry quickly explained.

"That's no problem at all dear. It's Ron's first time too," she replied warmly, gesturing to her youngest son. "Now, all you have to do is walk straight towards the barrier. Make sure you crash into it. That's very important. Best to run if you're a bit nervous."

The twins looked at the barrier before them. It looked quite solid to them. Shrugging her shoulders, Angeline turned towards Harry. "Well, see you on the other side."

Without waiting for a response, she passed through and disappeared. Not wanting to be left behind, Harry followed hastily. It was quite funny, just as he was about to hit it, the world gave way to a wrought iron gate with the words "Platform Nine and Three-Quarters" on it. Angeline was standing off to the side, waiting for him.

"Looks like almost everyone's already here or on the train," she frowns. "We better hurry up if we want to find seats."

The crowd was thick with students and their family members, all seeing them off. The bustle was excellent. It wasn't until they reached the back train did the two finally find an empty compartment, though they quickly realized that getting on would be a problem. Try as they might, the trunks were simply too heavy for the both of them to lift onto the train.

"Need some help?"

Angeline turned to see one of the twins that had gone through the barrier earlier. "Yes please," Harry gasped from the top of the train steps.

"Oi Fred! Give us a hand!"

Together, the four of them managed to tuck Harry and Angeline's trunks into the compartment. Angeline sat down as Harry leaned on the wall, wiping the sweat off his forehead. "Thanks a lot," Harry thanked but it seemed that the twins were distracted by something else.

"Blimey, your forehead…"

"He's not-"

"He is-"

"Aren't you?" the twins chorused one after another.

"I'm sorry, who?" Harry asked.

"Harry Potter!" Fred and George exclaimed.

"Oh him-er I mean, yes I am," Harry replied nervously.

"Then that means…"

The twins tore their eyes from Harry to look at Angeline. "Bloody hell," they whispered. "Are you…?"

"His sister? Yes I am. Angeline Potter," she said, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

The twins simply gaped a bit before finally getting off the train. "What was that about?" Angeline asked, slightly confused.

"Er, I'm kind of famous here in the wizarding world," Harry admits. "After Voldemort murdered mum and dad, he tried to kill me but he failed. That's how I got my scar."

"I suppose that because you're famous that makes me famous too," Angeline grumbles.

"I'm afraid so," Harry says with a small smile. "Cheer up. It's not that bad. No one's gone and pestered us yet."

The train's telltale whistle pierced the air, notifying the passengers that it was departing from the station. Neither of them said it but the new feeling of excitement began to bubble up in them as they left for a new world. Just as the train was picking up speed, the compartment door opened to reveal Ron, the redheaded boy that they had met earlier.

"Is it okay if I join you? Everywhere else is full," he said sheepishly.

"By all means," Angeline invited.

Ron nodded and sat down, closing the door behind him. Even as Angeline was looking out the window, she could see Ron giving them a once over before looking forward again, trying to pretend he hadn't. The compartment door slid open once more.

"Hey Ron."

It was the twins from earlier who had helped Harry and Angeline. "We're going to the middle of the train for a bit—Lee Jordan's got a giant tarantula with him," one of the twins said.

"Alright then," Ron mumbled, his face turning slightly pale.

"Harry, Angeline," the other twin interjected. "Did we ever introduce ourselves to you? Fred and George Weasley and this is our brother Ron. Well, be seeing you."

The twins left without another word, sliding the compartment door shut.

"Are you really Harry and Angeline Potter?"

The question caught the brother and sister off guard as they turned towards Ron. "Yeah," Harry replied.

"Oh, I just thought it was another one of Fred and George's pranks," Ron said. "And have you really got—"

Ron made a movement, gesturing to his forehead. In response, Harry pushed away his bangs, letting Ron have a look at the scar. "Is that where You-Know-Who—?"

Yeah, but I don't remember much and I doubt Angeline does either," Harry says to which Angeline nods in agreement.

"You've got an American accent," Ron noted. "Did you two not live together?"

"Nope. Dumbledor thought it was safer to keep us apart even after Voldemort fell," Angeline replied.

Ron looked thoroughly impressed. "Wow! You said his name!"

"What? Is that something to be impressed about?" Angeline asked, confusion on her face.

"It's just that everyone was scared of him and they never really said it out of fear," Ron explained puzzled. "I thought you of all people might've—"

"Neither of us knew," Harry explained quickly. "We weren't trying to be brave or anything. We've both got loads to learn. What's it like having three brothers?"

"Five," Ron corrected gloomily. "I'm the sixth to go to Hogwarts but it's rubbish. Mum and dad expect me to live up to the rest of my brothers, except Fred and George who pull loads of pranks but still get good enough grades. Bill was Head Boy, Charlie was the Quidditch Team Captain, and now Percy's the prefect. If I manage to do it, it's not going to be a big deal because they did it first anyways. And with five brothers, everything I've got is handed down too. I've got Bill's old robes, Charlie's old wand, and Percy's old rat."

Ron pulls out a fat, gray, sleeping rat and dumps him unceremoniously onto his lap. "His name is Scabbers but he hardly does anything. Percy got an owl from my dad after he became a prefect but they couldn't get me one because they couldn't aff— I mean, Scabbers got handed down to me."

Ron's ears turned slightly red as he realized he already said a bit too much but both Harry and Angeline could understand. Neither of them had gotten much pocket money to spend for themselves until just recently and told Ron so which seemed to cheer him up.

Just as the silence was beginning to become awkward again, a loud slamming noise came from outside their compartment. Harry frowned. "What was that?"

"Dunno, but it sounds like someone slammed the doors shut," Ron said as he got up to peer out the curtain.

As soon as he did so, the door was quite violently yanked open and a fourth person dashed in and quickly but silently closed the door. Neither Ron, Harry, nor Angeline knew what to do as they looked at the new person with shock. The intruder was wearing jeans with a black hoodie, the hood pulled over their head. Their back was turned but it was obvious that they had been running for a bit judging by the heavy breathing.

Just as Harry was about to speak, another slamming sound could be heard followed by heavy footsteps. "Where did he go?" a snarling voice asked. "Bloody wanker swiped it from my hands."

"Mate, let it go. Besides, the trolley is coming soon. Don't want to miss it," another voice replied.

For a moment, there was a heated argument before the second student managed to calm the first. The set of footsteps retreated from the train compartment and only when the door clicked shut did the occupant let out a sigh.

"Sorry about that. Just had to hide from them for a bit. I swiped the toad they were going to try a new curse on and I think I pissed them off."

Both Harry and Ron looked confused until they heard a croaking noise as the toad finally wriggled it's way out of the hoodie pocket and hopped onto the floor. Angeline however was, staring in shock, her mouth slightly open. That American accent...she'd recognize it anywhere.

"Ariya?" she asked in a tiny voice.

The figure whirled around and looked at her for a moment before a wide grin finally set itself on her face. "No way," she whispered as she pulled down her hood, letting her white hair spill out. "Angeline?"

Angeline hurtled out of her seat to hug her best friend as Ron gave Harry a look of utter confusion. "How are you here?" Angeline squealed as she placed her hands on Ariya's shoulder. "I thought, I thought…"

She was simply at a loss of words. "Well, I got my letter at the start of August and I technically was telling the truth. I did need to come to Britain to finish up a few things so it was only coincidence," Ariya explained. "Look at you! You're a witch like me!"

"Wait, you're Ariya?" Harry asked. "You're my sister's best friend from America?"

"Yep! Ariya Tempest at your service. If you're Angeline's older brother, then I take it you're Harry?" she asked. "And who are you?"

"I'm Ron, Ron Weasley," Ron replied as he stuck out a hand. "A Tempest? I thought they're all gone!"

"Well technically, yes. Mom was the last Tempest and when she married dad, she should've lost her maiden name but they both agreed that she should keep her maiden name to keep the family going. Whether or not I want to keep the name was up to me," Ariya said. "But after mom died and dad got himself incarcerated a bit after, I decided to keep my mom's name."

With an old face, the tension in the compartment was eased. Soon, both Ron and Ariya were busy educating Harry and Angeline about the finer points in the wizarding world. Around noon, there was a knocking on the compartment door before it slid open to reveal a smiling witch pushing a cart. "Anything off the trolley dears?" she asked.

"I'm good. I got this," Ron said sheepishly as he held up some wrapped sandwiches.

"We'll take a bit of everything for the four of us please," Ariya said firmly, refusing to let Harry or Angeline pay for anything. "No put that away, save it. Besides, you guys need to try this stuff."

Soon enough, all four of them were enjoying the food that Ariya had bought for them while Ron's sandwiches lain forgotten, off to the side. As Angeline finished up her pumpkin pasty, Ariya handed her a chocolate frog. "Chocolate?" she asked. "These have collectable cards in them which I'm not too big of a fan of but you could start if you wanted to."

Angeline took the package and opened it. Taking a bite out of her chocolate, she read the card. "Oh. I got Ptolemy. Huh, that's interesting. The pictures move."

"What?" Ron roared. "I've been trying to get him for ages and you get him on your first one?"

"Finder's keeper. Which one did you get Harry?" she asked.

"I got Dumbledor. Yeah you're right! They do move!" Harry said amazed. "Wait no, he's gone."

"Well, you can't expect them to stick around all day can you?" Ron replied with a shrug.

The four of them thoroughly enjoyed watching the Potter twins try all the wizarding confectionaries though at both Ron and Ariya's discretion, stayed away from the Acid Pops which could burn a hole through the tongue.

"Alright, game time!" Ariya announced as she opened the bag of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans to which Ron groaned. "Oh come on, they're not that bad!"

"You'd want to be careful with those," Ron said as he went first, sticking his hand into the bag and pulling out a bean. "When they say every flavour they really mean every flavor. One time, George reckons he had a boogie flavored one once."

"Stop stalling," Ariya teased. "Scared of a tiny bean?"

Ron made a face before popping the green one he got into his mouth. His face scrunched up as he chewed and swallowed. "Brussel sprouts. Not the best flavor."

"Sissy," Ariya declared as she reached her hand into the bad and pulled out a bright blue bean and popped it in her mouth. "Toothpaste, not bad. Who's next?"

Harry shrugged and Ariya tossed the bag to him who pulled out a funny grey looking one that Ron seemed particularly fearful of. "No way mate, that looks disgusting," Ron voiced as he shivered.

Though much to Harry's relief and to Ron's embarrassment, it turned out to be ground black pepper. Angeline fared much better than the rest of them, having gotten a fruit punch flavored bean. This went on quite a bit until the bag had run out to which the talk had turned to Hogwarts.

"So, do you know what house you'll all end up in?" Ariya asked.

Both Harry and Angeline shook their heads but Ron looked gloomy. "Probably Gryffindor going by my family. Every single one of them is a Gryffindor."

"You could do worse," Ariya said. "You could be a Hufflepuff. I just can't see you being the type of person to be a Slytherin or a Ravenclaw though."

"Er, thanks I guess," Ron replied extremely confused, not knowing how to respond to being subtly complimented and insulted in the same breath. "What about you Ariya?"

"Dunno. Can't see myself as a Hufflepuff. I have a good chance to probably be a Ravenclaw or Gryffindor though," she shrugged. "Not that I'd mind being a Ravenclaw. Mind you I did spend most of my life studying and learning all sorts of magic back in America."

"Are you kidding me? You'd be a Gryffindor if anything!" Angeline burst. "How many times have you saved me from Martha and her troupe?"

"Not enough."

"Well it's the thought that counts," Harry responds gratefully. "Thanks for, you know, taking care of Angeline and being her friend."

Ariya lazily waved it off. "Sure sure. You need to keep an eye on her too now that you're together again."

The door to their compartment slid open for the third time this train ride and this time, it was a trio of boys, one with pale skin and the other two the large and mean looking. "Is it true?" the pale boy started. "They're saying all down the train that Harry Potter and his sister are in this compartment. So it's you two?"

"Yes," Harry and Angeline spoke simultaneously.

"This is Crabbe and Goyle. I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy," Draco spoke as Ron gave a tiny snigger. "Think my name is funny do you? Red hair, freckles all over, you must be a Weasley. More children than they can afford, my father tells me. What about you?"

Draco turns towards Ariya, his grey eyes evaluating her critically. "Ariya Tempest," she spoke coolly. "Malfoy huh? A wealthy, respected family."

Draco puffed his chest with pride. "Seems you know what you're talking about. Tempests are relatively famous in America, are they not? Well regardless Potter, you'll soon find out some families are better than others. You don't want friends of the wrong sort, I can help you out," Draco said as he held out a hand.

"I think I can tell who are the wrong sort myself, thanks," Harry replies with a hard look.

Instead of flushing red, Draco's cheeks were dusted slightly pink. Before he could retort, Ariya takes Draco's hand and flashes him a smile. "Don't mind him. He's still not versed in the finer points of the wizarding community. How about you introduce me to some of your other friends Draco," Ariya says, borderline purring.

Whatever Draco was expecting, it was not this. He sputters slightly, trying to regain composure. Angeline notices his cheeks turning a slightly darker pink. "Well, I guess it can't hurt. Ariya was it? At least one of you has their head straight. Come on."

As they take their leave with Ariya, she turns back to them and flashes them a wink and a devilish smile. After the compartment door closes both Ron and Harry look at Angeline. "Bloody hell Angeline. Did she really just…" Ron fades.

He was at a loss for words. Angeline shrugged as she reached for another Chocolate Frog. "Get used to it. It's her way of helping but she'll be back..."

Turning to the window, she stuffs the rest of the chocolate into her mouth while thinking about the look she had given Draco. "I hope," she adds in her mind.
