Chapter 2
(Paris)
Adam, Maria, and Alya were walking to a bistro for lunch. They were talking about the rings and the kwami. "So, what do these rings do Adam?" Asked Alya.
"Well, what I have been told," said Adam. "Each ring has power."
"Via the Zodiac?" Said Maria, he nodded.
"So, what are our powers?"
"Maria, you have Psychokinesis. You can manipulate objects." He looked at the table and pointed to a salt shaker. "Try moving that." So she did and the shaker lifted off of the table.
"Wow!" She said, Adam smiled.
"You're also going to be agile."
"Agile?"
"Well, Capricorn is the sign of the goat. Goats are very agile."
"And me?" Asked Alya.
"I need to look at the ring." So, she gave him her hand. He saw the symbol of Gemini, "the twins."
"Gemini!" She said.
"Yes, shapeshifting and cloning." Alya looked at Maria and all of the sudden, there were TWO of them. Maria was in shock, the other Maria was dressed in Alya's clothes.
"Wow," said Maria. Then Alya deformed back to herself.
"Now, try to clone yourself." So she did and there were two Alyas.
She was giddy, "I'd bet this is everyman's dream. Huh, 'A-Train'?" Adam sweatdropped.
"Well, I wouldn't know about that."
"Good answer," Maria said.
Later, they went to visit his mom and sister.
"Mom, this is Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Alya Cesaire." He said, his mom was a sweet woman. She had shoulder-length auburn hair, was 5 foot 8, she was very beautiful and shapely, she also had kind blue eyes. She was in a white blouse and capri pants.
"Nice to meet you ladies," she said. They looked at her and then looked at Adam.
"THAT'S YOUR MOM?" They said.
"Yeah," she hugged him tightly.
"My name is Regina Williams, nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you, Mrs. Williams." Said Alya.
"Adam, why am I meeting them?" Adam scratched the back of his head.
"Remember when Jess was drowning and I went in to rescue her?" Regina remembered that.
"Oh, I forgot." She kissed him on the temple, "that's for saving your sister. What about that?"
"Well, I found this." He pulled out the box the rings were in. "It was connected to my hip."
"Okay."
"Inside were these, show her guys." He said so they showed her the rings.
"Those are wedding bands," Adam nodded. "You're married?"
"Yeah, but the rings are special."
"How so?"
"Whoever wears them, she gains the powers of the Zodiac."
"What do you two have, and what are their powers?" Maria and Alya looked at each other.
"You want to go first?" Asked Maria, Alya shrugged. Alya showed off her ring, revealing the Gemini ring.
"Gemini, I have the powers of shapeshifting and I can clone myself." Said Alya, she shifted into Regina.
"I've never looked that good in ages." She said, Adam rolled his eyes.
"Mom, you're drop-dead gorgeous. You look good for…" He quickly covered his mouth when he said her age.
"Stop it, Adam!" The girls laughed, "and you Maria?" She showed off her ring and revealed it to be the Capricorn ring.
"I have Psychokinesis and can become very agile." She said.
"I see."
"How's Jess?" Asked Adam, just then a 14-year-old tackled him to the floor. She had braided auburn hair and blue eyes. She was in a T-shirt and jeans.
"A-TRAIN!" She said, he got up and picked her up.
"You okay?" She nodded, "nothing bad is going on in there?" He poked her head.
"No."
"Good, good."
"Bro, is this a ring?"
"Yeah."
"Why are you wearing a ring?"
"Long story, 'Kitty Kat'. Wanna meet my friends?" She nodded, he brought her to Maria and Alya.
"She's adorable!" Said Alya, Jess giggled.
"Want to introduce yourself?"
"My name's Jessica Williams. Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you, too." So, they told her what was going on.
"So you guys are heroes?"
"Yep," said Adam, they continued to talk about what they needed to do.
"So you need to find the other 'brides' or they have to come to you?" Said Regina, they nodded. She sighed, "alright. But I want to meet the others."
"We'll keep you updated on whom we find." Said Adam.
(After meeting Regina and Jessica)
Adam, Maria, and Alya were looking for other women who had gotten a ring.
Just then they were cornered by Akumaized villains. They started to fight them, Adam started to fight back. "Go! I'll buy you time!" He said, so the girls went to transform.
"TRIXX, LET'S POUNCE!" Said Alya.
"TIKI, SPOTS ON!" Said Maria. Both girls started to transform into Rena Rogue and Ladybug respectively. "Let's go help our hubby." So, they do.
Meanwhile, Adam was taking the Akuma Victims to School. He was hitting rising uppercuts, flying knees, rolling German Suplexes, catch and release slams, Samoan Drops, and Canadian Destroyers. That was when the girls came in and he flipped away from the fight. As the girls were trying to take down the corrupted people, Adam was looking for the one doing this.
Just then he had seen a man in a black suit and a gray cowl on. It had the markings of a moth on it. "So," he said. "You're the one that's doing this!" The man turned around to see Adam.
"Who are you?" He said. Adam punched his hand.
"Call me 'A-Train'," he said. The villain just rolled his eyes.
"Another 'hero'? Let's see how you'll handle this!" He tried to 'Akuma' him. But, Adam fought him off. "WHAT?"
"You've never faced someone like me." With that, he grabbed the villain and slammed to the roof of the building. Adam straddled him and started raining down blows on him. But, he fought Adam off and tried again, but this time Adam allowed him in.
'Let's see your darkest desires!' He thought.
(Inside of Adam's mind)
This was a huge mistake on the villain's part. He should have wondered why the other man allowed him entry into his mind. Because inside was a huge man, he was 7 feet tall, had white hair, pupilless eyes, and a long goatee. He was wearing white robes and a beaded necklace, his hands were wrapped in glowing bands.
"What is this?" The villain said, the man looked at him. Then he rose and slowly walked up to the villain.
"Gabriel Agreste," he said. "What are you doing in my descendant's mind?"
"I control your descendant now!" Gabriel said, the man just roared in laughter.
"And how are you going to go about that?"
"I shall turn you into an 'Akuma'!" The ancestor just grinned at him.
"Did you just say; 'Akuma'?" He stomped, slid up to him, and started to punch him all over. Breaking bones, rupturing his organs, and destroyed his soul. "You made a huge mistake coming here! Now, BEGONE!" Gabriel was suddenly back in his own body and dropped as blood came out of his mouth and other orifices.
With that, the Akuma had changed back to the victims and were sent to the hospital. Ladybug and Rena had run up to where Adam was and went to see if he was alright.
