It was a good thing Sonic was a cheetah right now because he landed gracefully on his feet. "You could've warned me this was going to be a fast fall," complained Midna, rolling her eye. "Sorry," said Sonic. "But what happened to your other eye?"
"I'm an imp," said Midna. "I'm supposed to have just one eye, but I wasn't always an imp. You see, I used to be a princess just like Zelda, but the dark figure from her story used his magic to turn me into an imp. But I've done just fine like this. I like my hairstyle cause I can use it like a hand."
"Right," said Sonic. "Well, let's go get those tears of light." But suddenly, three shadow beasts appeared. Sonic and Midna worked together to take them all out at once. And once they did, a bright light appeared. Sonic turned his head away to avoid being blinded. "Well done, green eyed beast," said a voice. Sonic turned his gaze back to the light when it wasn't so bright. "I am the light spirit Ordona. There's more spirits like me, but an evil figure killed all of my friends, trapping them in shadow. The only way to save them is to gather tears of light. Twelve of them can be found near Faron Woods."
"Faron Woods. Got it," said Sonic. He sprinted towards the curtain of twilight and took a deep breath. Sonic bravely jumped through it and Midna followed close behind him.
