Four months into her marriage to the King, Anne of Cleves still remain a virgin because Henry refuses to consummated their union because of her physical appearance. However, during that same period of time Anne had form a friendship with Henry along with her three step-children: Prince Edward, Lady Mary, and Lady Elizabeth.

On a warm May night to her surprise Henry came marching into her apartments to say "I shall try to bed you one more time"

"Of course, my lord" says Anne happily because she knew that he wished to have their marriage annul to marry her own lady-in-waiting Lady Katherine Howard.

"Good morning, my lord" says Anne as she slowly moves to sit up in her bed grabbing the sheet to cover herself before adding "Have I pleased you"

Henry says happily "My dear wife to my surprise you have pleased me last night" after doing the duty to bed his bride.

With the help of his groom that accompanied him the night before assisted him in being dressed. Henry says to his wife "I shall visit your bed once more tonight" before leaving the bedchamber.

Once Anne was alone her ladies-in-waiting help her dress for the day after allowing her to soak in the tub to help rid herself of the soreness that was left behind.

That every day, Anne heard the whispers that the only reason why Henry visited her bed the previous night was because he found his current mistress Lady Kitty Howard in bed with another man.

Almost nine months to the day, Anne gave birth to a healthy baby boy who was christened Prince Henry Tudor the Duke of York on a cold February day.

Two weeks after the Duke of York celebrated his first birthday, he was joined by a little sister that was christened Princess Cecily Tudor. In the following spring, Anne gave birth to her last child: Prince Arthur Tudor the Duke of Bedford.

A month after the birth of Arthur, Henry created a new line of succession after his death at the instance of Anne. This Third Succession Act that was declared legal on June 24th of 1543 reads:

1) Prince Edward Tudor the Prince of Wales

- Any legitimate issue of the Prince of Wales

2) Prince Henry Tudor the Duke of York

- Any legitimate issue of the Duke of York -

3) Prince Arthur Tudor the Duke of Bedford

- Any legitimate issue of the Duke of Bedford

4) Princess Cecily Tudor

- Any legitimate issue of Princess Cecily of England

5) Princess Mary Tudor the Duchess of Bavaria

- Any legitimate issue of Princess Mary of England the Duchess of Bavaria

6) Princess Elizabeth Tudor

- Any legitimate issue of Princess Elizabeth of England
