Chapter 10
"Who is Darth Maul?" said Optimus.
"Darth Maul is a brutal Sith Warrior" said Ahsoka "Originally a member of a warrior tribe known as the Night brothers he was taken from his village by a mysterious and dark master known as Darth Sidious and trained to be the ultimate weapon of Rage, he was the one who killed Qui Gon Jinn, the mentor to my old master and his master Obi wan Kenobi" said Ahsoka stopping to catch her breath,
"Everyone believed that Obi wan had killed him during the battle of Naboo but was revealed to be alive sometime in the Clone wars and with his brother Savage Opress terrorised the galaxy and has recently taking command Of Death Watch" she finished.
"What's Death Watch?" asked Raf slightly scared of the answer.
"The Death Watch is an illegal militia from the planet Mandalore" replied Ahsoka.
"How did they join Maul?" asked Ratchet frowning having heard about them himself "I thought they followed a code of conduct".
"Originally they were commanded by a man named Pre Vizsla who wanted to take over Mandalore and bring back its Warrior heritage…the duchess of Mandalore Satine Kryze had begun a pacifist government… but had become an enemy of Obi Wan who was a friend of Satine,
I myself fought with him, eventually he had made a pack with Maul and eventually betrayed and duelled with him and was killed with his own weapon: the Darksaber" said Ahsoka "Maul since then became Leader of Death Watch".
"What do we do about him?" asked Raf.
"Jack and I teach you two to control your Force" said Ahsoka "then we deal with him".
Suddenly an alarm went off and Ratchet checked the monitors "there's a squad of soldiers advancing on the mountain" he yelped.
Meanwhile Vince and Sierra (Their siblings in this story and the episode Speed Metal never happened…although Sierra still falls for Jack) where walking through town.
"Stupid Ashley who does she think she is coming in out of nowhere and taking my guy" Sierra muttered under her breath.
"There's something not right about that girl…something not human" Vince joined in.
"You couldn't be more right" a voice answered.
They both turned and saw Darth Maul approaching from the shadows.
"Who are you?" croaked Vince in shock.
"I am Darth Maul" replied Maul "I am a friend".
"The one you speak of does she look like this?" he asked taking out a halo projector and showed an image of Ahsoka.
"Yeah…a bit too much like her" Sierra confirmed studying the image.
"They are one in the same she is a Jedi: a warrior following a false religion usurping a power that she and her comrades can't even hope to understand" Maul 'explained'.
"I am a Sith: a true practiser of this power: the Force, a humble warrior who merely wants to bring order to this troubled universe" he went on.
"She's probably using this 'Force' to make Jack date her" Sierra accused.
"Yes she is corrupting the boy to join the Jedi" Maul agreed "But if you join my forces and I he will realise that he belongs with you" he whispered to the girl as his death watch soldiers walked out of the shadows.
"What about me I don't care about what happens to Darby?" Vince sneered.
"True but if you stand by my side you could have the power of the cosmos and be a king amongst the mortals of your planet" replied Maul making them both an offer they can't refuse.
The two exchanged evil smirks and knelt before Maul who activated his saber.
"Do you pledge yourselves to your master's teachings and to the dark ways of the Sith" he recited the oath his own ex-master spoke when he officially became a Sith.
"We do" answered the two teenagers' selling their souls.
"Then rise Darth Rathe" he said to Vince "and Darth Khione" he said to Sierra.
They both got to their feet and already their eyes began to turn a reddish yellow.
"Take these" he said handing them two dark looking lightsaber's "your training begins soon".
"Sir the one you contacted has arrived" his lieutenant told him. "Excellent" said Maul with an evil grin.
