Chapter 11

The Bots and kids ran outside, and they saw (to Ahsoka's shock) a legion of clone troopers where approaching.

"Let's take these clankers down" shouted out a voice which Ahsoka recognised to be Rex.

"STOP their friends" Ahsoka yelled out stepping forward and from the crowd came her old mentor.

"Ah… Ahsoka" he whispered out.

"Hey Skyguy" she replied with a small smile.

"AHSOKA" Anakin yelled out grabbing his old Padawan in a tight embrace.

Jack had to smile at the scene before him it was almost like a reunion between a father and a daughter.

"Wh…what are you doing here snips?" Anakin gasped out hardly willing to believe his own eyes.

"I came here after I left" Ahsoka explained as her friends stepped forward.

"This is Jack he's my…" she tried to figure out a way to introduce him "I'm her Boyfriend" said Jack getting to the point shaking Anakin's hand "she told me a lot about you".

"BOYFRIEND" said Anakin and Rex.

"You better take care of her" Rex threatened Jack before turning to Ahsoka "Hey kid great to see ya" he grinned embracing her.

"H...H... How could you have a boyfriend Ahsoka you're a Jedi what about the code" Anakin rambled out.

"I am NOT a Jedi anymore I left so it doesn't matter if I have a boyfriend or not" replied Ahsoka firmly taking Jack's hand.

Anakin was about to say more on the subject when a green, red and white droid zoomed past him.

"Arseven" Ahsoka cried joyfully bending down and hugged the droid "I've missed you buddy".

A Blue and white droid let out a series of indignant beeps at being left out.

"Oh, get over here Artoo" Ahsoka laughed and hugged her old friend before introducing them both to jack.

"Jack this is R2-D2 and R7-A7 the two bravest droids this side of Tatooine" she introduced the droids "Guys this is my boyfriend Jack Darby".

The two droids began nudging Jack in a threating way their message was clear (were watching you).

Obi wan soon stepped forward and noticed the saber connected to Jack's belt.

"Where did you get that?" he questioned using the force to bring it to him noticing how familiar it looked…like that of an old friend's.

"It's my dad's" Jack replied using the force to take it back.

"Your father?" asked Obi wan noticing that this boy looked somewhat familiar.

"His name…was Kento Wren" replied Jack accepting who his father was.

"What!" Anakin and Obi wan chorused in shock. Jack handed them his father's letter and once Obi wan read it he smiled.

"Your father was a good friend of mine" he began "And I sense that you as well as your friends are strong in the force we could use your help" he said before explaining what they were doing on Earth.

"We know he's on earth I've fought him just a few minutes ago" Jack replied. "And you survived" said Obi wan impressed before making up his mind

"Jack when this is all over…I would like to take you under my wing personally" he said putting a hand on the boy's shoulder.

Meanwhile at Maul's camp he had soon met with his commanding officers and an old friend.

"Leave us" Maul told his officers.

Once they had left Maul turned to the figure in the shadows and his whole demeanour changed "It has been to long my friend" he said embracing the figure as if he where reuniting with a lost brother…which made his heart ache for Savage all the more.

"You can say that again pal" the figure replied noticing his friend's robotic legs "should've gone in the business with me and avoided getting those".

"Quite but facts are now there is an opportunity of a lifetime and I need your help" Maul replied taking out a folder and showed the figure a picture of the bots and kids.

"These children are nexus's of the force and with them under my tutelage as well as my two new apprentices we can bring the usurper Dooku and that fool Sidious to their knees, as well as the Jedi" Maul declared "However, they are allied with these 'creatures'…they are not droids you see they have minds of their own and have recently joined forces with a legion of republic soldiers lead by Kenobi" he continued saying the name with venom.

"If I and my forces are to defeat them I will need a warrior of your calibre and ingenuity to lead my army against them" said Maul taking out a box.

"I can offer a high amount of credits and I believe these creatures are bound to have a weapon or two you would find useful, and the Jedi have Been enemies of yours for a while…will you join me?" he finished opening the box revealing a lightsaber.

The figure picked it up and activated the saber and swung the red blade around getting used to the feel of it and eventually steeped out of the shadows revealing he was a male Duros wearing a brown trench coat and hat as well as having a multitude of weapons on his person.

"Yeah buddy" Cad Bane grinned "I'm in".
