"Hello! Fatgum…where is he today?" She had gone to his work having been feeling uneasy for a while.

A secretary there told her he was out on a mission.

"Could you tell me where he is?"

"Sorry I can't release that info."

"He's my future husband and I really need to know where he is right now." Her unease was making her a little clipped.

The woman's eyes widened.

"Sensei Perla?" There was a voice of a young man with dark hair and realized it was Suneater one of the sidekicks.

"Oh, hi sorry but I really need to know where he is. I feel like he needs help."

"I suppose it's fine." The woman started and told them where he was.

Suneater accompanied her as they headed in the direction the woman told them. She was using a bit of her quirk to move fast and guiding her but it was still early so without the moon out it wasn't as strong as she wished.

Suneater was worried too as they came to destruction. They could see red riot fighting off some large shapeless villain while her fiancé was absorbing gunshots while protecting civilians.

Though she knew he had told her he had worse missions and his body absorbed almost everything she couldn't stand him get hurt. Cause from what she understood was that he still felt some pain.

"You might want to get away I'll help them." Said Suneater beside her while eating a few things.

"No give me a second please." She closed her eyes and focused on her anger. Her hair turned black like the night sky with Glistening stars. The debris around her began to float as she took a fast gliding step forward. "Could you handle the civilians?" She didn't wait in him to reply as she glided away.

Her power wasn't at its 100% but she could make a few melting stars and made sure to aim it on the mans gun.

Seemed like the man had the ability to make weapons when he had made a large sword and was heading towards her love again.

She stomped her foot causing him to lift off the ground while she melted the new weapon.

She pulled the man toward her and headed toward red riot and surrounded the other man. "Move and you will melt into nothing." She tossed the other man with his partner and surrounded them with stars.

"Darlin'!" Fatgum ran to her while Suneater hurriedly removed the civilians.

She moved close to him and gave him a once over to make sure he was well before sighing in relief. She had wanted to kiss him but this was not the time. "I'm glad you're okay."

There was a whistle and realized it was from red riot. "That's some woman you have boss."

She turned to face the young man and gave him a once over too." Are you okay?"

He touched his solid forearm flexing and nodded, "Of course."

"What are you doing here darlin'?"

"I kept feeling you weren't okay and that you needed help so I came to see you my love."

"How did a man like you get a beauty like that?" Said one of the men they had captured.

She held his hand and said, "He's a great man." Turning to him again she used her quirk to float up and ruffle his hair. "See you later." She turned to the guys in the makeshift cage. "Can you detain them or… should I wait?"

"Suneater come and detain them while the cops can take them into custody."

Once detained she quickly left before people saw her to closely.

After finishing with the job and completing his report he realized everyone was worried at how fidgety he was.

"Sorry you guys." His grin on his face was a bit strained as he scratched his neck. "I can't spare another moment." He quickly finished up dismissed everyone else as he took off as quickly as possible.

"Looks like he has a date with sensei." He heard Kirishima say as he headed out.

"Didn't realize Sensei was that powerful." Suneater said next.

He paused for a moment hearing the two boys talk about his love.

"Boss should really hire her."

He smiled deciding that was a tempting idea but decided she probably wouldn't accept. "Hey you guys." He returned to them and with a sheepish look asked them to keep her identity a secret. Not that they needed to be told that.

Making it to her home he found her cooking in the kitchen thankful she'd given him a spare key. She had her back towards him while she stirred a giant pot of what smelled like beef stew.

Though he was huge he moved fast and silently. Being careful not to cause her any injury he wrapped his arms around her and placed his chin on the top of her hair.

"I'm home." He said softly.

"Welcome home love." She turned her face up and kissed him since he was already leaning down. "I've prepared a bath for you. The food isn't ready yet."

He felt there was a strain in her voice though she was still warm and inviting. "I-okay." Though he wanted to ask he might as well do it after a bath.

He was going to take a quick shower when she entered while he was rinsing of the soap before the bath.

Silently she kneeled before him her eyes looking roaming over his body making himself conscious.

Her eyes slowly turned to his and he realized she was worried. Kneeling in front of her he pulled her to him.

"I'm okay darlin'." He realized that was the first time she'd seen his quirk in action. "That's nothing compared to the hard days."

She hugged him tightly. "The barrier-the protective barrier I covered you with was being tempered with. It was being hit repeatedly and I got worried." She nuzzled her face into his naked chest. "I forget your quirk lets you absorb a lot, but it still made me fearful you were in danger. My quirk isn't so strong during the day, but it was still loud enough to warn me."

"Darlin'." He pushed her away from him so he could see her face. "I promise you that I am careful with everything I do. My work is a sword and shield. Though I can only promise you I will do everything I can to be safe."

She searched his eyes, her own bright with tears as she gave him a quick nod.

"I believe you." She kissed him roughly as her hands quickly moved lower.

"Wait." He tried to get her hand but it was already wrapped around his very stiff Jr.
