Hello, and Happy Fullmetal Alchemist Day! Even though it's a little late.

Allen: Yuu, is that really a thing?

I have no clue, but I can guarantee this. Happy Birthday to the twins! Happy Coming of Age!

Ketsueki: Shh, not too loud.

Aozora: We're trying to hide from Mom.

Ketsueki: She's been trying to redo our sweet sixteen since that was a disaster.

Lavi: But it was so fun.

Ketsueki: Yeah, until a certain someone's special friend decided to skip out on his meds.

Hey, Tanuki is just fine without his meds. And besides, that cake fight was cool.

Aozora: Yeah, I guess it was.

Mama: Girls? Are you in here?

Lavi: Oh no, it's Mama Kurosaki!

Twins: And we're out!

... Okay...? Also, someone answer this question! If one anime slowly turns into another through a fanfiction, say like D. Gray-man to Ao no Exorcist, does that count as a crossover? Like one OC has a descendant who lives in an anime and the first OC is still alive an mentioned and maybe featured.

Disclaimer: I don't own DGM or Inuyasha. But I own Twin Akuma!

Review Time! With your hosts, Yuu and Allen with special guest, Kagome Higurashi!

Y: Hello readers an Kagome-chan.

K: Why am I here? And how did I get here?

A: Yuu, you did send the letter?

Y: Yes, I gave it to Souta. Kagome was in the Sengoku Jidai so I gave it to him to give it to her.

K: But I never got it.

Y: We'll sort this out later. Kagome, you get the first review since you were scared shitless.

K: You are rather crude, you know.

A: Stop hanging out with my boyfriend.

Y: NEVER! He shall soon be my new brother-in-law!

K: *sweat drops* Okay, first review:

Alaina Kuski: Thank you!

A: My turn. Hey it's new one!

WhiteWhisperingWind: Thank you and awwwwww! Kittens are so cute, ne?

Y: Hey Natsuki! You're the last review!

Natsuki D: Yeah, Lavi is an idiot isn't he? And I think I might end this soon. I'm not sure, but I have a story I really want to put up for Kutoka's birthday, which is the 13th. One, it's cute, two, it reveals more of Kutoka's life before she met Allen and Mana, and three, it's gonna give Miranda more time with the spotlight. Maybe. You might like it.

And this concludes Review Time! Come back soon!

The Cure

*3rd POV*

Kutoka and Lavi return to the Order, using the secret staircase around the back, just to get to Komui's office faster. The back halls were also usually empty, so they had no risk of running into anyone *cough*Lenalee*cough*. When they reached Komui's office, as Lavi was about to knock, an explosion rang throughout the hall from the door. Lavi opens the door, and smoke appears from a door that used to be behind a bookcase and Komui, Reever and Johnny run out, coughing their heads off. Johnny held a bunch of papers closely to his chest, probably trying to protect them.

"Do I even want to ask," Kutoka mewed, looking rather indignant.

"I don't get it," Komui whined as he was handed the notes from Johnny, looking them over. "There's got to be something wrong or missing, but I can't find anything wrong."

"Could I have a look," Kutoka asked, getting handed the notes, her ears flicking and her tailing moving in the sense it was writing.

"What is she doing, mate," Senri asked Allen.

"Renkinjutsu(1) mode."

"Renkin Kutoka(2) has surfaced..." Lavi muttered to himself. "Komui, hand me a pen and a pad, would you?"

"Lavi, what are you doing," Reever asked as Komui gave Lavi a clipboard and the pen from behind his ear. "I'm testing something."

Lavi holds a pen to Kutoka's seemingly sentient tail and it grabs the pen tightly. Then he holds the clipboard up in front of the tail. Pen met paper and a whole new recipe for a potion was being written, equations and new expressions flowed from the pen, fascinating all four men and three cats. Very quiet muttering came from Kutoka as the pen paused, then crossing out some things, and rewriting them.

"Add potassium... then take out the... Hell, Komui, where did you get germanium(3)? I've been trying to get a hold of that stuff for years...Too much sodium, exchange magnesium with calcium..."

"What is she talking about," Senri asked, whispering into Allen's ear.

"I think she's working the potion out in her head."

"I got it," Kutoka shouts for the world to hear, holding a fist in the air. She hands the paper to Komui with a very happy grin. "This should work. If it doesn't come out a bright purple, you did it wrong."

Komui reads the notes over, and gives them to Reever. "We'll have it done by tomorrow. Now go to bed. It's very late."

"I pass the stick to you(4), Komui. I'm sure by tomorrow, we'll have two arguing idiots."

"Hey! Nee-chan!"

"Che. Baka neko."

"Both of you, shut up," Kutoka growled as they all walked out of the office. "Geez, such a headache(5)..." Kutoka rub her temples, trying to relieve the pain building up in her head and behind her eyes. The cats looked up concernedly at their temporary alpha female(6), walking a little closer to her.

"Hey, Neko, you okay?" Lavi drapes his arm around the cat girl, pulling her close. When she doesn't respond, Lavi does the forbidden. He caresses her soft ears between his thumb, index, and middle fingers. A scarlet blushes dances on Kutoka's cheeks as well as a small mewl like a kitten calling for her mother.

"Lavi...k-knock i-it off," she growls, trying not to melt into the gentle soothing touch. "G-get off!"

"Ne, ne, Neko, does it at least help with your headache?"

"No. It doesn't," she hissed, lying through her teeth and Lavi stops. Kutoka just has too much pride to admit that her ears were her weak spot. Not that Lavi already knows that. Allen had shamelessly rubbed the triangular appendages to calm her rage to a slight simmer countless times in front of the redhead. And Kanda. And Lenalee. And one point the whole entire Order. Goddamit Moyashi, not cool. But Lavi won't call her out on it. But he does do some thing.

"Lavi Bookman Jr., what the fuck are you doing!?"

"What does it look like I'm doing? I'm giving you a ride back to the room," Lavi replies like he wasn't picking up his fuming, but exhausted girlfriend onto his back, no sir. That was not what he was doing right now. Not that Kutoka was complaining. Lavi's wide shoulders were the perfect pillow on the go, and his warmth was like a security blanket, just cozy and snuggly enough to fall asleep on.

A child-like, innocent face replaced the young woman's previous scowl as she left the waking world, riding on her boyfriend's back with her brother and best friend as cats walked beside them and a new friend with them. If Lavi could see the expression on his kitten's face, he would laugh on how such a care-free face could appear on one of the most alert, if not the most alert, Exorcist in the entire Order known to the present Exorcists at this time.

Allen and Senri laugh quietly, and even Kanda pulls a smirk at the sight of the stressed half-demon being so calm. It's rare to see Kutoka fully sleep, even more than it is to see Kanda smile. Sure, the girl rests, but she is always at least half-awake to keep alert, even though Allen's eye would alert them to oncoming akuma. 500 years of living in fear for the lives around her and her own has carved itself into her mind. But there were those occasions. Like in her room. And now.

"How do you not want to shag her," Senri asked Kanda. "She's a looker."

"You fucking pervert! I'm gonna rip your pelt off!" Kanda growls and pounces at Senri, who runs for his furry life. "Get back here!"

"Allen, control this mad man."

"What mad man? I see no mad man," Allen mewed, faking confusion and looking around.

"Traitor!"

Lavi laughs as the two cats run up and down the halls, bouncing off the stone brick walls and cobblestone floor. Even a small chuckle could be heard from the sleeping girl on Lavi's back caused by the toms' chase. This would be only be a one time thing. Kanda chasing Senri in cat form. Sure, there will be times Kanda will chase the tortoise-shell tom in human form, but it wouldn't be as funny. Now Lavi does not regret keeping the ear biting golden golem, Timcanpy, in his pocket. First, he takes a picture of Kutoka's sleeping face, then until to the room he records Kanda's attempt to skin Senri alive. Which ended up being a whole 10 minutes.

By the time they got to the room, the two cats had wore themselves, panting slightly and barely making it to the foot of Kutoka's bed. Lavi lays Kutoka on the bed, taking off her boots and pulling the covers over her thin frame. Kutoka gives a sigh of relief, curling up a little more into a ball. Lavi picks up Allen and places him at Kutoka's head, letting him curl up under her chin. Kanda and Senri were on opposite sides of the foot with their backs to each other. Too tired to go back to his own room, Lavi takes off his boots and shirt and joins Kutoka in bed again.

Notes:

(1): Renkinjutsu is Japanese for Alchemy

(2): Renkin Kutoka is like Black Allen. Except she's becomes a scientist that puts Komui to shame instead of the perfect poker cheater.

(3): Germanium is a metalloid on the periodic table and was thought to improve the immune system, but actually does slow and painful harm. Kutoka wanted it as payback at Lenalee.

(4): Kutoka has weird wording for things. I pass the stick to you = I'm leaving it to you, I'm leaving it up to you

(5): Kutoka just used her brain as an alchemist, a brilliant one as well, and she hasn't done that for over two hundred years. I would think so much brain activity in a shirt amount of time would give her a headache.

(6): Even if cats are solitary, animals listen to the strongest of their group, and Kutoka being a neko hanyou, she would be the strongest of the cats, hence alpha female. Temporary of course.

Hello, I'm still sick. For three weeks. One week of a cold, then the next of a runny nose and this week is a cough. And I have to take these giants pills. 1200 mg! At least I have bananas. Bananas help with big pills with instant release! R&R! They'll make me feel better and let them be your birthday present to the twins. Owari!
