I'm baaaaaaaaack!

And I've written another chapter! Yay!

Before I get into the responses, I forgot to mention that I had the feeling that Scott's last name, Ravenhawk, sounded familiar for some reason. But when I rewatched Scooby-Doo and the witch's ghost, I finally realized that Ben's last name, Ravencroft, sounded so similar! HA! What are the odds?

Anyways, here are the responses:

Vented567: Indeed.

R-Doll: Thanks for the constructive criticism, I deeply appreciate it. I suppose I should reel in Ravenhawk a bit. I guess I went overboard with him threatening Amity without thinking more thoroughly on it. I had a different idea with the confrontation, but I forgot it. I originally wanted to get Ravenhawk involved in the hexside incident in the episode, but I guess I didn't feel like it. Hence why it's got awkward cuts. Which is where Scarface comes in. He'll explain to Scott on what happened at Hexside. Anyways, I purposely put the venom reference in there because I couldn't think of anything else, and I really enjoy that line in the movie. Also, glad that you also enjoyed the cliffhanger.

Patricia Louise A. Pena: They do indeed have history together.

deku rose: Thanks for telling me. The hair color threw me off.

Ok! Let's get back to where we left off in the last chapter, shall we?

I don't own anything except for my oc.

...

The Owl House...

"... Eda?"

That was all Ravenhawk could say in realization as he stared back at the grey hair woman with pale skin, golden irises, long golden nails, a golden jewel on her chest, golden earrings, a golden ring, a maroon sleeveless dress that's a little ragged at the ends, grey leggings, and maroon heels.

Eda stared back at Ravenhawk, or Scott, according to her. What she saw was a humanoid bird monster with (A/N: Same description as it was in chapter 2). Without his hood hiding his face, everyone could clearly see what lies underneath besides his beak and glowing eyes.

Without the hood on, his true eye color turned out to be silver irises. It was like staring into a pair of diamonds. His medium length layered hair, unlike his obsidian black feathers, it was actually a dark purple.

No one said a thing as the two stared at each other. But the silence didn't last for long once Scott spoke up after what felt like minutes.

"How... how did you know it was me?" He asked.

Eda smirked and crossed her arms.

"There's only one guy I know with dark purple hair and silver eyes that has a black wolf like that." Eda answered, gesturing to Scarface.

"Dammit." Scott cussed under breath, his identity discovered that easily.

"You two know each other?" Luz questioned.

"Yeah, back when I was still in Hexside. But the bird look is definitely new. What's up with that, Scotty boy?" Eda questioned.

"It's how I always looked, Eda." Scott pointed out.

"Wait, what?"

"I'll explain it to you, but... not out in the open. Too many ears."

(A couple minutes later...)

Everyone sat in the living room as they waited to hear Scott's explanation to Eda.

"You sure it's a good idea to let three kids in on this?" Scott asked, eyeing Luz, Gus, and Willow skeptically.

"Eh, I wouldn't worry about it. But are you sure you want Hooty in on this?" Eda questioned, pointing to the owl head with the ever-extending neck... who's lingering next to Scott.

Scott glanced at Hooty, who had an overjoyed open mouth smile, and looked back at Eda with a shrug.

"I find him amusing."

"I'm just happy to be included! Hoot, hoot!" Hooty hooted with glee.

"See?"

(A/N: Hooty is honestly one the best comic reliefs in the show in my opinion.)

"So what were you saying about always looking like... this?" Eda asked.

Scott took a deep breath and sighed.

"The physical appearance you knew me as was actually a well crafted illusion spell. A disguise. The feathery bird-faced visage you see before you is what I truly look like." Scott explained.

"Why would you want to hide what you look like?" Luz asked.

"For safety reasons. You see, Ravenhawk isn't just my alias, it's my family's bloodline." Said Scott.

"I thought your last name was Ravine?" Eda questioned.

"That was a fake last name. My family name has made many enemies in each generation. Many have been defeated. But some could either be in the shadows or in plain sight. I don't want to get too deep into the details unless it becomes relevant." Scott explained.

"So it's like a family witness protection?" Luz questioned.

"Bingo." Scott confirmed.

Luz was honestly surprised that he knew what she was talking about. She'd have to ask him about that at another time.

"So where've you been? Haven't actually seen you since Hexside." Eda asked casually.

Suddenly, certain memories of the past resurfaced within Scott's mind for a brief second.

"What the-? What do you mean where I've been? I should be asking you that question." said Scott.

"Pardon?"

"Where the hell have you been?! Ever since that incident with emperor's coven tryouts, I've been devastated! I tried to find you, but kept finding dead ends... I haven't felt the same since." Scott exclaimed, trying his best not to flip out from years of past misery.

"Really? How so?" Eda asked calmly in her usual laid back tone, but oddly interested. Odd because she normally doesn't care about this sort of stuff.

"I felt empty. Cold. Numb. Depressed. It also didn't help that most students at Hexside are complete assholes to anyone that they deem as too different! I was still a target for bullies and crap, that hadn't changed. But then came the day that I snapped."

"Snapped?"

"My breaking point. The bullying got so bad that I couldn't take it anymore! I burned people, electrocuted them, gave them frost bite, and beat them senseless just to add salt to the wound! None of them were killed if that's what you're going to ask. Just. Severely. Wounded." Scott said in a dark tone at the end, the anger he felt for his tormentors still present.

"Whoa. I've been bullied before, but I don't think I could ever comprehend whatever you went through that made you so angry. I'm so sorry." Said Willow.

"Tch. Don't be. It warms my heart a little knowing that I scarred them for life." Scott said darkly with a smile, his sharp teeth bared.

"Wow. You used to be such a nervous wreck when we were kids, but now look at you! All dark and brooding, and what not... I kinda like it." Said Eda, smirking at the end.

"Yeah I really grew into it after years of- w-wait, WHAT?!" Scott said, surprised by the last bit.

"Hey, Eda! What's with all the- WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!" King said in shock as he walked into room.

King is a small dog-like demon with dark gray fur, light grey on his underbelly and the tip of his tail, a skull face with fangs and a pair of horns with one of them being broken. He had small claws, a red collar with a round golden tag on it, and eyes with yellow sclera and purple irises.

Scarface stood up in an attack pose, growling with his teeth bared, and his eyes glowing red.

"Scarface! Stand down!" Scott ordered.

Scarface reluctantly obeyed, and sat back down. His red eyes kept on King.

"King, this is Scott. He's an old classmate of mine. Scott, this is King. My roommate, and troublemaking runt." Eda introduced.

"Hey!" King protested.

"King? King of what?" Scott asked.

"The King of demons! All shall one day cower before me!" King proclaimed dramatically.

Scott remained silent with a blank face as he stared at King, not the least bit fazed by him.

"You look like plush toy." Scott commented.

Eda broke into a snorting laughter at the comment.

"Hahahaha *snort* a plush toy! Hahahaha!"

"Oh ha ha, very funny. Well you look like a-... a... uuuuuuh." King tried and failed to come up with an insult.

Mainly because of the large bear sized black wolf with red eyes getting up and slowly approaching him until it was staring him down directly in front of him.

"... eheheheh, uh, nice doggy?"

Scarface's response was a loud roar to King's face. Not a bark, a legitimate roar. It was so powerful that King's fur was blown back.

When Scarface stopped, King's fur remained blown back, and stood there with a shocked expression.

"Yeah, sorry, I probably should've warned you that Scarface doesn't like it when people try to insult me." Scott said apologetically.

"Point taken... nighty night." King said, right before he fainted onto his back.

"Ha! *Snort* Down goes King! Hahahaha!" Eda cackled.

"Consider him dethroned! Hoot, hoot!" Said Hooty.

"BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA! Dethroned!" Scott cackled at Hooty's joke.

Scarface then barked something to him.

"Hmm? What poster?" Scott questioned.

Scarface barked again, gesturing to a wanted poster on the wall. The wanted poster depicts Eda holding her staff in own hand, a fire ball in the other, and King near the corner displaying his full body. On the bottom of the poster, it showed what the amount the reward money was for her capture. The top of it said The Owl Lady.

Wait a minute.

"What the actual ever living- YOU'RE THE OWL LADY?!" Scott exclaimed.

"Yeah, so?" Eda said without a care.

"I've seen those posters many times before! I can't believe I didn't recognize you! Dammit, I'm so stupid!" Scott facepalmed.

"Meh. I don't blame you. I mean the last time you saw me, I had orange hair." Eda pointed out.

"You used to have orange hair?! I didn't know that!" Luz said with her usual optimistic attitude.

"Well did you know Ravenhawk killed the warden?" said Gus.

"He did WHAT?!" Eda asked in surprise.

"Oh yeah, it's true. One of my ravens told me what warden Wrath was doing to innocent people, including you, the human, and the tiny demon. So I fed him to my wolves. I even kept his mask as a trophy." Scott explained.

"Ok, other then the dark stuff, did you just say wolves? As in plural?" Eda asked.

"Yes, plural. Counting Scarface, I got twelve of them. Even a whole massive flock of ravens. Even a goliath isle serpent!" Said Scott.

"Whoa, no way! I thought those were a myth!" Gus said in awe.

"Trust me, they're very real." said Scott.

Suddenly, everyone could hear a howl coming from outside. Scarface's ears perked up at the sound, and Scott gazed out the window to see that it was getting close to sunset.

"Almost sunset. Better round up the boys, and head on home." said Scott.

Scarface barked in agreement.

"Don't be a stranger, Scotty. This was honestly one of my more pleasant reunions." said Eda.

"Noted. Also, Eda... it is good to finally see you again after all these years." Scott said as he was heading out the door.

"Bleh, don't you dare get mushy with me diamond eyes."

"Yeah, that was so cheesy. Bleh! Left a bad taste in my mouth. Until me again, Owl Lady!"

With that said, once outside, Scarface took off running as Scott took to the skies with a mighty flap of his wings.

Eda and the others, minus King, watched him fly farther away, and Scott gave a screeching roar into the sky for everyone to hear.

"Ugh. What happened?" said King, a little dazed from fainting.

...

And that's a wrap!

Eda finally knows who Ravenhawk is, and it's an old acquaintance!

Not to mention there's more questions that need to be asked about Ravenhawk. Just when you think you've figured him out, he's more mysterious than you'd thought.

Sorry for not including as to what happened with Scarface at Hexside. I couldn't figure out how to fit it in. I'll include it in another chapter.

Also, the goliath isle serpent will come into play during the 'covention' episode. It's also a small clue as to what ties in the Boiling Isles, and the small Nordic elements I've included for Scott. You'll see more of it eventually.

Until next time, stay tuned!
