Adrien didn't care. He rushed forwards and scooped his crying lady in his arms.
'K-kitty' sobbed ladybug.
'Its ok' he reassured her, ' it's gonna be ok'.
As her crying slowly faded away, he reluctantly put her down. 'M'lady, what happened?' she just shook her head and the crying returned- full sobs echoing through the night. He glanced over at the kids and gave them a half questioning-half sympathetic look at their heart broken faces.
15 MINUTES LATER...
The two of then sat in silence on the roof. Chien, Fang and Piglet had offered to take patrol as they saw their part-parents were in no state to be focused right now. So that brought them back to now, an uncomfortable quiet in the air, each one of them were consumed in their own thoughts and issues.
'Someone found out...'
Chat turned his head to see Ladybug's head bowed as she spoke. 'I don't follow' he whispered back.
'...'
'I'm not forcing you to tell me anything if you don't want to LB' he said gently, 'Only if you feel like telling me.'
She looked over at him with bloodshot eyes, and a smile flickered on her face. But it disappeared as quick as it came.
'i cannot be ladybug anymore' she stated
Chat spluttered and internally panicked. WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS SHE TAKING ABOUT! THIS COULDN'T BE BECAUSE HE FOUND OUT HER IDENTITY RIGHT?
'S-someone found out my identity.
OH GOD IT WAS HIS FAULT!
'U-umm do y-you know who it was?' he questioned. Would she hate him forever now that she know he was eavesdropping? Well it wasn't exactly eavesdropping, he was just... in the wrong place at the wrong time.
She fixed him with a sort of affectionate-knowing look. 'Yes I do... I think we both know who he is.'
'M-my lady, i-i think you have me confused for someone else.'
She faced him with a half hearted smile, 'thecat who heard our conversation is the most sweetest, cutest and understanding boy on the planet... My... my crush... Adrien Agreste...'
And the world stopped spinning.
