Speedkarate: This was good chapter. I love Claire and Relon interactions by the way. I am looking to first field study which should be good by the way. I hope Relon get use more crafts by the way especially his S-break.
Aye, it's always puts a smile on my face seeing you all like the Relon and Claire interactions. Honestly, I've been thinking about how Relon would be as an in-game character since I started the fic. I'll add his crafts and arts at the end of this chapter :). I'd do a character profile like I did in my MHA fanfic but there ain't enough info for that yet so that'll come later.
FieLover: You are right, I may have to go to the hospital because of the UwUness~ Moving on a different side, I'm excited to see how Rean and Relon will deal with the requests (sidequests) lol. Especially when it comes to the Old Schoolhouse, because ya gotta pick your team after all.
Told ya lol! The requests won't be anything that interesting though I do plan to make a few up just for comedy and bonding purposes but that'll be for much later. And all I'm gonna say is the team pick will be both interesting as it will be obvious.
SOD: So... don't be mad.
Andrew: Lemme guess, you had an idea so we're gonna have to wait loner until the Field Study.
SOD: Huh? No! What made you think that?
Andrew: Just a feeling. My Cap Senses were tingling.
SOD: Well they were almost right. I had an idea so it starts on chapter 31. A clean start in my opinion.
Andrew: I knew it!
SOD: Look! I did something and I think y'all may like it.
Andrew: What did you do?!
SOD: SPOILERS!
Andrew: I don't care! Tell us!
SOD: NO!
After finishing their talk with Towa, the protagonist duo bid farewell leaving the building.
"Man, we sure stayed in there a while. It's already dark out." Relon notes.
"Considering what Instructor Sara got us in, I'm willing to bet she knew how this would go."
I can see why Claire dislikes the woman now.
"Probably. Well anyway, we got handbooks to deliver."
"With how late it is, I'm sure everyone is back at the dorm by now."
"You're right. Let's get this taken care off." Both begin to walk. "Uh, Rean, where are you going?"
"Huh?" What do you mean? To the dorm, where else?"
"Shouldn't you check on Fie?"
"Why do you say that?"
"She may still be asleep and I thought you didn't like the idea of her being alone especially at night."
"I only dislike the idea when she's napping but it wouldn't hurt to check. Mind giving me a lift, Pippin?"
Flying from its sheathe, the sword nods for Rean to take hold of the cloth before he's elevated to the roof.
"She still there?' Relon calls though not loud as to not wake her if she is.
"Yeah. Mind giving the others their handbooks while I wait for her?"
"Leave it to me." Relon calls, Rean tying his portion together with the cloth.
Waving, Pippin flies back down before it and Relon head home leaving Rean with a still sleeping Fie.
Taking a seat in his previous spot, he glances to the girl. Her chest gently rising and falling causing Rean to look away blushing heavily.
No! Bad Rean!
Shaking his head of the lustful thoughts, he glances to the girl at peace.
I'm surprised she's still asleep. Looking closely, he takes note of the still visible smile amongst her features. Has she really been having trouble sleeping?
"Mmm..." Looking, he sees Fie give a soft groan squirming in place.
Smiling, she rolls her back towards him.
"Mm... Boss..." She mumbles, the last word gaining Rean's attention.
Boss? Maybe she worked somewhere before coming here.
Deciding to put that idea in the back of his head, Rean glances up to the night sky as he enjoys the quiet comfort of the night.
Relon
"Alright. First up; Elliot." He mutters knocking on said boy's door.
After a moment, it opens.
"Hey there, Relon. Something the matter?"
"Nope. Instructor Sara got me and Rean working for the student council so we're delivering Class VII's handbooks." He explains handing over Elliot's.
"Oooh, thanks."
"Were you practicing your violin? I could have sworn I heard the sound of one playing."
"Sorta. Not practicing per say but just doing the fingering an motions. Since the Wind Orchestra isn't meeting tomorrow, I thought I should get some practice tonight."
"Ahh, smart move." Relon glances past the boy. "You really like musical instruments, huh?"
"Yeah. It'd be nice if the walls in these dorms were a bit more soundproof, though. Then I'd be able to play all night without bother anyone."
"If that were the case, I'd be more than happy to listen to some soft music on a nice night like tonight."
"You and me both."
"Anyway, Imma get these to the others. Night,."
"Goodnight."
Heading across from Elliot's, Relon knocks.
"Hey Machias, it's Relon. Got your student handbook from the student council."
"Coming." Opening the door, Machias greets the boy. "Sorry to make you go to all that trouble." He apologizes takin the book.
"It's no biggie. In the middle of studying, I presume?"
"Y-Yes. How did-
"Pencil marks all over your hands." Relon chuckles.
"W-Well, competing against Emma and yourself is no small feat so I must make the upmost of my studying time." He says correcting his glasses.
"True. I don't plan to just let my spot go that easily though." Relon says with a confident grin.
"I'm sure you nor Emma will make it an easy feat. Though, once I surpass you both, the victory will be all the better."
"Haha, alright. We'll just have to see about that. I'll leave you to your work then. Night."
"Have a good night." Machias bids closing the door.
"Okay... Gaius next." Walking next door, Relon knocks. "Gaius, you there?"
A second later, the door opens to reveal the foreign student.
"Well, that answers my question. Evening."
"Good evening, Relon. What's up?"
"Got your student handbook."
"Oh. I was wondering when that'd come. Thanks."
"Anytime. I like the room. It has a pleasant feel to it."
"Thank you."
"Were you thinking about painting?" Relon asks peering past the boy at art canvases.
"Not tonight. More so just brainstorming possible ideas."
"Ah, ok. I'll leave you to it then." Relon waves.
"Very well. Goodnight."
"Night." Relon bids walking over to the room adjacent from Gaius'.
Knocking a few times, he waits for a response.
"Who's there?"
"It's Relon. I got your student handbook here."
"... Very well." Opening the door, Relon hands Jusis. "You have my thanks."
"Don't mention it. What're you up to if you don't mind my asking?"
"I was simply reading."
"Oh? What kin?"
"A biography I recently obtained from the library."
"Cool. Well, I know how relaxing it is so I'll leave you to it." Relon waves.
"... You have my thanks." Jusis responds closing the door.
"Alright. That went pretty well." Relon bobs his head side-to-side. "Time for the girls." He mutters heading upstairs.
Stopping at the first, he knocks.
"Yes? Who is it?" The voice of Emma sounds.
"It's Relon. Got a sec?"
"Ah, yes, I'll be right there." Opening the door, she smiles at the boy. "Good evening Relon, Pippin."
"Heyo, got your student handbook from the student council." He explains handing it over.
"Oh, thank you very much. I was wondering when we would get ours."
"Anytime. Thinking Rean and I will help out the student council. What about you?"
"I haven't seen what the culture clubs have to offer yet so I'll be visiting them tomorrow."
"Joining a club seems to be what everyone is doing. I probably would have joined the drama club had I not already signed up with the student council." He remarks to earn a giggle from the girl.
"I can certainly see that with your interesting personality."
"Haha, you got that right. Well I'll let you get back to doing whatever it was you were doing."
"Oh, right! I was organizing my notes! Goodnight, Relon." She bids closing the door.
"If I didn't know any better, I'd think she was an airhead off of that." He chuckles turning and going to the next knocking.
"Alisa? It's Relon. I got your student handbook."
Silence follows before the door slowly opens.
"Rean isn't with you, is he?"
"Nope. Just Pippin and I." He chuckles watching the girl fully open her door. "You two really need to make up and by make up, I mean hurry up and stop being so awkward around him."
"Y-YOU THINK I DON'T KNOW THAT?!"
"I'm sure you do." He responds checking his ringing ears. "But he's said sorry multiple times so can't you just bear with that bashful side for ten seconds and make up?"
"Mmmmmmmm..."
"Everyone's getting tired of the drama so come on, Alisa." He groans.
"Grrr..."
"I guess the other girls are just better at conveying their feelings..." He mutters averting his eyes, Alisa going wide-eyed as a tic mark appears.
"WHAT WAS THAT?! I SO CAN TOO!"
"Perfect! Then you can apologize to Rean we can all move on with our student lives!" Relon claps his hands, the gesture one Alfin would be proud of, before handing the stunned girl her handbook and closing the door for her.
Aunt Cecily was right. A woman's weakness is the mention of another woman or women. Gotta keep that one in the important section when I'm dealing with Claire and the others.
Turning around, he walks over about to knock when- the door opens.
"I'm guessing you either sensed me or were expecting me after Alisa's outburst." Relon grins entering the room.
"Both actually." Aurelia answers with a smirk.
"Here ya go." He hands over the handbook which she takes. "I'm guessing you were relaxing?"
"indeed. I just finished my training for the night. I worked up a good sweat so I feel I deserved dome much needed rest." She explains seating on her bed.
"Ah..." He mutters glancing at the basic room. On her desk; a picture of Aurelia and her family. And on the wall, her greatsword. "Sorry to have bothered you."
"Think nothing of it. I enjoy our idle talks. I've only heard stories so speaking an hearing your side of your adventures are thoroughly enjoyable."
It just sucks I have to keep my time with Alfin a secret though I'm sure Aurelia wouldn't reveal it to anyone. At some point I'll tell the others.
"Well I'm glad I can keep you entertained at least. I'll leave you to your relaxation then."
"Then I wish you pleasant dreams."
Closing the door behind him, he walks over about to knock.
"It's open." The familiar voice belonging to his childhood friend calls, Relon opening as Pippin flies over to her seated at her desk.
Plopping down on her bed, Relon looks to the happy sword with a chuckle.
"I swear, you're something else Pippin."
"He is just happy to be reunited with I is all."
"You two were together earlier today!"
"Were we? It feels like decades since, right Pippin?" She smiles as the sword nods happily enjoying its petting session.
"Oh brother." Relon falls back on the bed. "Instructor Sara got Rean and I working for the student council so here's your student handbook." He mentions placing it next to him at the foot of said bed.
"It seems she really likes messing with you two in particular."
"Well, we are her 'special students.'" He mentions getting comfortable.
"That is true. Where is Rean?"
"He's with Fie. Worried something may happen. The usual." He mentions for Laura to look over to the boy.
"Relon, do you think-
"That he may like her? Maybe. If so, I doubt he even realizes it. Then again, I'd say he's more so worried for her than anything else." This piquing her interest as she raises an eyebrow.
"What leads you to believe that?"
"Well, we were talking and realized that Fie is always napping anywhere and everywhere a lot."
"That is also true."
"And after Rean dozed off while I dropped our stuff here, I came back and Fie seemed much more comfortable sleeping. So we think she may be having trouble with her sleep. Could be an insomniac for all we know."
"I see... That would explain a good amount of her habits like her tendency for short worded sentences."
"No, I think that's just how Fie is." Relon chuckles sitting up. "But, Rean is with her so I'm sure things will be fine."
"Yes, you have a point..."
Rean
"Mm... Huh?" Slowing stirring to, Fie stifles a yawn before sitting up rubbing sleepiness out of her eye. "Where...?" Stopping her sentence, she realizes her location but that isn't what her eyes look to.
No, they lower slightly to the left at a black-haired teen seeming to be asleep with his legs crossed leaning against the roof's railing.
"Rean?" She mutters, the name causing the events prior to her sleep to come rushing to mind.
Standing up, she walks over taking a seat next to the boy hugging her knees to her chest.
Flashback
A man's voice.
"Sleeping with friends and family always tends to help on some nights. If I could do it every night, I would Sylphid."
Flashback End
Shifting her eyes to Rean, her stoic expression remains.
Sleeping with friends... huh?
At the thought, a small smile creeps to her face as she continues gazing at the boy.
"Mm..." Immediately, it ceases as she looks forward.
Slowly coming to, Rean blinks a few times looking around before he senses a familiar presence to his side.
"Oh, Fie. You're awake." He greets smiling.
"Yup." She nods.
"Sleep well?"
"Yup."
"Hey Fie."
"Yeah?"
"I'm sorry."
Having grown accustomed to their conversation as it has been similar to all the rest, Fie is taken aback by the random apology forced to look genuinely confused at the boy.
"What for?"
Thinking up what the reason could be, none come to mind. Looking at his expression, she can tell he's being sincere but as for why, she had no clue.
"You've been having trouble sleeping, haven't you?"
At his question, Fie's eyes widen ever so slightly. Now hearing him out, she could deny it but what would come from it? True that ever since Zephyr disbanded, she's had trouble sleeping. It was difficult at first, but as time went on, it became easier. Though she could never have a normal sleep schedule. Something that's bothered Sara ever since she took in Fie.
"..."
Knowing full well how right he is, there's no point in lying. Even if she said no, with how things are right now, he could easily see through such a façade.
"I thought so." He turns back to gaze up at the night sky as does Fie.
Knowing full well their hypothesis were spot on, Rean tries to make sense of what will come out of his mouth.
"Does it bother you?" Fie asks.
Looking to the girl, he focus remains on the stars above.
"Yeah, it does." For a moment, Fie's eyes lower slightly. "But it also bothers me that it took so long to realize." His words causing the girl to widen once more.
Unknowing of where his mouth or his heart is guiding him towards, Rean continues without hesitation.
"Relon and I... got into trouble once. This relates to what you saw after orientation." He explains though Fie remains silent.
How could she forget something like that? There she was trying to sleep only to feel such pressure out of nowhere. It only made her more surprised to see it come from her fellow speedy classmate. Considering she was on the very edge of the field, she couldn't hear a word of their conversation but her surprise would have to triple seeing the large crescent strike fly at Rean only for the boy to vanish as if he teleported.
Thanks to her time with Zephyr, she'd say she's seen a lot. Done a lot. Yet, with how fast Rea had vanished, reappeared feet away from the explosion, and seemed to have taken on a new appearance like Relon, she would seriously question her knowledge of what was out there. She knew the world was full of mysteries but considering these were her classmates. Semi-strangers, but her classmates nonetheless. Yet, one look at his grim expression told her everything.
"You had to take a life, didn't you?"
Releasing the breath he'd been unconsciously holding in, Rean snaps to Fie to be met with solemn look of her own.
"How could..." He stops himself easing his sudden tension. "Yeah. A hunter came out of nowhere and the situation escalated. Overcome with rage, we transformed for the first time. Relon assisting me in ending the hunter and his pet's lives. I having dealt the final blow to the hunter."
Gripping his sleeve, Rean exhales a heavy breath. No matter how many times he retold the story, he would never get used to it.
"All my life since then, I've struggled having taken one's life. Relon dealt with his trauma but it was me, I was the one with the weapon, that ended his life. As time went on, I came to understand that I'd have to live knowing I would have blood on my hands. That man who tried to kill my friend, my sister, and myself. Knowing this... I could come to terms with." He states with relative ease to Fie.
With the way he sounded, he made it seem like this burden he was cursed with was something he held onto for years to come. Taking one's life is no easy feat after all. This being something Fie knows all to well.
"Coming to terms with that was relatively easy. It was coming to terms with the power used to kill him that wasn't."
"At least until two weeks ago." Fie comments.
"Right. Honestly, I haven't used it since but..." He gets to his feet stepping away turning to Fie.
Placing a hand over his chest, a red and black aura seeps out from his body. Quickly, it condenses around the teen as his hair shifts from black to white along with his eyes to red.
"If something like that ever happens again, this time things will be different. I'm sure of it."
Standing to her feet, Fie eyes his altered appearance. The somewhat vile presence, the raw power, simply his new look; all of it she finds meaningful. Like her, Rean has taken steps to overcoming the trauma of his first and thankfully only kill. This form is the definition of what he's gone through albeit possibly not much. Whether a physical, mental, spiritual struggle, or all three; he pushed on. Even if he had help, Rean did it.
Dismissing her look of awe, Fie returns her smile walking before the boy. Hands relaxed behind her.
"Good."
Seeing that smile is enough to make Rean's mind go blank. His focus breaking as too does his transformation.
"Huh?" Walking back to her bench, she grabs her stuff.
"If anything happens, it's reassuring knowing I can rely on you. That's all." She says with her back to him though her smile never fades.
Turning around, she tilts her head.
"Right?"
Dumbfounded, Rean can only nod thinking one thing.
I never noticed how cute Fie can be.
"And Rean?" She says snapping him from his odd thoughts.
"Y-Yeah?"
"Don't be sorry." She states stopping past him. "We've both had our fair share of past trouble. And..." She stops. "You were just looking out for me like today. So... thanks." She mutters, the smallest of blushes appearing though Rean doesn't notice.
No, he's too dumbstruck by the cuteness of the girl.
Shaking his head once again, he gives a wry smile.
"Still... I don't like the idea of... uh..."
"Hmm?"
"This is probably a silly question."
"Shoot."
"Are... we friends?"
Taken aback by the question, she remembers her earlier thought corelating to the Boss'.
"I... was gonna ask you that." She falls quiet.
"O-Oh... Well, considering how you seem to get along with Emma and Relon, I would like to say we are." He smiles.
"... Cool." She does as well.
"Still, I don't like the idea of one of my friends going through something alone. I want to help."
Sighing, she turns to face him.
"You're going to be persistent even if I say no, aren't you?" She sighs.
"You know it." He smiles forcing the short girl to avert her eyes.
"Jeez. So annoying." She turns smiling, the two heading home.
Reaching the park, Fie stops followed by a confused Rean.
"Hey."
"You thought of an idea already?" She nods. "I'm all ears."
"It's kinda selfish..."
"So? I told you I want to help anyway I can."
"Alright..." She turns to face him. "What do you do before and after classes?"
"Before; I wake up and practice on my own in the forest outside of the training field. After; I usually wander a little. Sometimes I'll hang out with Relon and Laura to train. Sometimes Aurelia joins us. Why do you ask?"
"I'm sure you've realized my sleep schedule isn't exactly in order." She unconsciously fidgets.
"I have."
"Mind if I joined you?"
"... Huh? For my training?" She nods.
"I'll just lay in a tree and nap. I heard that resting with friends is good so..."
Grinning, Rean pats the top of her head to the girl's surprise.
"Huh?"
"That's not selfish at all. It's a good idea honestly. Besides, I'd be happy to have the company. We could even train together if you're ever up for it."
"Um... thanks again, Rean."
"It's what friends are for after all." He smiles removing his hand. "What say we get going. It's already pretty late." He notes walking past her.
Placing a hand to the top of her head, she thinks for a moment before the corners of her mouth arches up followed by a tint of pink to form on her cheeks before she walks after her helper. Looking at his back, a thought comes to mind.
Maybe... just maybe... helping me out isn't the only selfish thing I'm asking for...
Opening and walking into their dorm, both halt seeing the kitchen door open. Exchanging an odd look to Rean, the boy fails to notice walking in casually followed by the girl.
"Mind if we join you?" Rean greets, the two walking to see Relon and Laura at the table sipping on tea with Pippin laying against Laura's chair.
"About time you two came back and by all means. We're all friends here. I made plenty to go around." He grins.
"Yes, do join us. The more the merrier as they say." Laura smiles.
Stopping, Fie blinks to feel something nudge her. Looking to, she sees a smiling Rean.
(See? We're all friends here.)
(Yeah... I guess you're right.) She smiles.
Taking a seat with their friends, Rean and Relon across from Fie with Laura, Relon pours both a cup of his special tea.
"What is this?" Fie asks taking it and inspecting the liquid.
"It's a special tea I came up with years ago. I call it night tea."
"Why do you call it that?"
"Simple really. It helps with sleep and it just tastes better at night."
Looking at the drink, she glances back up to Relon.
"You don't say..."
"Yup. Try it." He suggests to which she complies, the three watching as she finishes after a moment. "Thoughts?"
At first she doesn't respond seeming to think of a fair rating. That is until the aftertaste kicks in amongst her taste buds as does the feeling of the liquid flowing down her intestines.
Widening, she can only blink in repetition looking down to the drink dumbfoundedly. Its flavor one difficult to describe. To Fie, it's like a bomb of flavor went off in her mouth yet it wasn't as large of an explosion as she had expected.
It's more similar to that of a balloon popping. Not too much pressure released, but not too subtle either.
Taking another sip, she releases a slight hum.
"Whoa." She finally mutters.
"Hehe, I'll take at as a good rating." Relon chuckles leaning in his seat taking a sip.
"You're right about that." Rean agrees. "Nothing beats night tea with friends. Though I sure was surprised when you told me you've been doing this ever since orientation."
"Rean!" Relon shouts.
"What? Oh..." Slowly, he and Fie back away towards the wall as Relon nervously turns his head to see Laura.
Gulping, he slowly begins to get out of his seat for her hand to grip his wrist tightly. Turning to the protagonist, she gives what one could call a heartwarming smile full of malice.
"Is this true, Relon? Is that why you've been sleeping in?" She questions.
"L-Laura, now h-hear me out."
"I'm listening." She narrows her eyes.
"It's true that I have been doing this every night." He states giving a glance to an apologetic Rean with a mildly surprised Fie. "But I have been studying every night as well! And I know I can rely on you to help me out because you're a great friend."
"Oh...?" Her eyes trace over the gulping boy before she eventually lets go. "Fine." Sighing in relief, Laura lets go to point at the boy. "But from now on, go to bed at a reasonable time or else." She smiles.
"Y-Yes ma'am..." He seats back down. "Thanks a lot, Rean..." He mutters.
"Haha... my bad." He apologizes as he and Fie sit back down.
"I thought I was gonna die." He sighs. "I know better than anyone never to anger Laura." He shudders at a memory quickly dismissing it.
"My my, what do we have here?" All raise their heads turning to the kitchen entrance to see none other than their instructor walking in. "Hm?" She stops to tilt her head, Relon and Rean glaring at her. "What's wrong with you two?" She walks by the group going to the fridge pulling out a mug of beer before plopping down next to Relon.
"What's... wrong?" Relon repeats shaking profusely. "What's wrong is the fact that you not only shoved all your work onto us, you've been making poor Towa work her butt off!"
"Why not just do the work yourself like an instructor should?!" Rean demands.
Taking a long chug of her mug, Sara raises it with a happy sigh.
"You really can't beat an ice-cold beer after work! No, wait! Maybe you can...!" She gets up going back to the fridge pulling out another mug. "With two ice-cold beer!"
"INSTRUCTOR!" Both shout slamming their hands on the table, Laura and Fie quickly grabbing their own drinks plus the boy's.
"Ugh, fine!" She sets them down on the counter giving the two a bored expression. "If you must know, I have enough work of my own on my shoulders-"
"I question that with you always being at the bar drinking if not here." Relon interrupts with crossed arms.
"Do you feel no shame?" Rean adds copying his childhood friend's gesture.
"WHAT SHAME?! I'm seriously busy with work! I just refuse to let my dear students see me struggling with so much paperwork!"
Not responding, the four only stare.
"I'm being honest! And why are you staring Fie?! You should be on my side!"
"Meh, you dug your own hole this time, instructor."" She gives a grin.
"Oh, come on!"
"Originally when you entered, I would have believed you to have been drinking all night, but I can see that isn't the case." Laura sighs.
"Regardless, we already accepted the job but next time, how about you just be honest." Relon dismisses.
"Oh come on, you two are the only ones who haven't joined clubs yet so what harm was there?" She waves off taking a chug of her beer.
"I could have joined the drama club or swimming club like Laura." Relon defends.
"Wait a sec." Rean pauses looking to Fie. "You're in a club?"
"Gardening Club, yeah." She shrugs. "Haven't really attended much."
"Oh. You... may want to do that."
"Meh."
"Anyways, isn't it our decision to choose whether we join a club or not?" Relon wonders.
"Technically yes, but our wonderful principal made it very clear that either you all join clubs or the student council or I get a very scary punishment and lemme tell you four something. Never get on the principal's bad side." She warns, her expression showing complete fear.
"Still, we could have joined a club later on."
"Rean, just drop it. There's no winning with Instructor Sara like this." Relon sighs taking a sip of his tea. "Awe man, it got cold." He grips it with his left hand, steam quickly becoming noticeable.
"Relon!" Laura exclaims for the boy to arch an eyebrow.
"What?" He notices her eyes motion to Fie who's own facial expression holds a mixture of surprise and interest. "Oh." He shrugs taking a sip. "I can wield fire." Relon says nonchalantly as he puts his cup down to ignite a flame his his left palm.
"Cool. That explains the hot air when you took off in the schoolhouse."
"Yeah, sorry about that."
"No biggie." She takes another sip of tea, both looking to the others in somewhat shock.
"What?" Relon and Fie ask in unison.
"You're not surprised?" Rean asks the girl.
"Nope. Considering what I just said and what you two are capable of doing, it makes sense." She shrugs.
"I thought you wanted to keep that a secret?" Laura asks.
"I do, but considering Fie is our friend not to mention she already knows about Rean and I's alternate forms, may as well tell her that secret. I mean, the principal, Instructor Sara here, you two, and now Fie are the only ones that know about it here at Thors so I say that's fine."
"Alright then." Laura relents. "You two are doing student council work tomorrow, no?"
"Yeah. Curious to see how much work we have to do on our day off." Rean answers. "What will you do, instructor? Take care of that pile of work you supposedly have?"
"Don't you worry your pretty little head about me."
"I'm not." He deadpans. "I'm more worried about the work Towa has to do compared to you." He states, the others bursting into hardy laughter as Sara gives a pout.
"Cut me some slack, will ya?"
"Not a chance." All four deny.
"You know what fine, I'm going to just sit here and enjoy my beer!" She humpfs chugging down the alcoholic beverage.
"While you do that, we're going to continue to enjoy our Night Tea." Relon notes warming up the pitcher of tea.
"Oh? What's in it?"
"I'm not telling you my secret recipe. And don't even think about mixing it with your beer."
"Tch, dang it."
"To think he saw right through her." Rean sweatdrops.
"I think it was just fairly obvious." Laura notes.
"Facts."
With that, the group of five enjoyed their leisurely night awaiting tomorrow to come.
