FieLover: Wow, things are starting to heat up!
Was that pun intended, lol. Things are only gonna get more hectic, I tell ya. Hope you enjoy.
tackler5rb: That was a lot of info to process, can't wait to see how it all shapes up. Especially if someone is who I think it is.
It's gonna be shape to be something pretty wild if I say so. Ooh, Wink wink hint hint nudge nudge. There's a reason why I mentioned changing certain character's ages *cough* *cough*.
Speedkarate: Oh now this start getting good. Now the society and Black Wirkshop this going be awesomw looking forward what they going play part in. I felt sorry for Relon at the end and that surprised me
Ya know it and glad you are! And my boy, Relon, just can't keep secrets to save his life. I plan on this being like a running gag in the story. But for now, time to see how the others take it.
Shinn: Hehe, I loved the feedback. Thanks y'all!
Andrew: I'll admit. That was a mouthful of information.
Shinn: Indeed it was. Now you see why I've been so excited for that chapter.
Andrew: So is the mom-
Shinn: NO, IT'S NOT SARA!
Andrew: HUH?! WHAT THE HELL?! I KNOW IT'S NOT SARA. WHAT MADE YOU THINK I WAS GOING TO SAY HER?!
Shinn: I could just feel it.
Andrew: That's stupid. Sara is like 25 in this fic. The same as her canon counterpart, right? She's too young to have Relon.
Shinn: Bold of you to assume she's the same age.
Andrew: Is she older?
Shinn: Bold of you to think I'm going to answer any of your questions.
Andrew: Then-
Shinn: Bold of you to even guess who the mother is.
Andrew: But-
Shinn: Bold. Of. You. To. Still. Be. Talking.
Andrew: ... Let's just get to the fic. My head hurts.
Shinn: YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
April 22nd - Subconscious
"Mm..." Groaning, Relon eyes slowly open to the sight of a the clear blue sky.
Slowly shaking his head, he lifts his torso up to feel the texture of grass beneath him. Looking around, he finds himself in Celdic park's clearing.
"What the...? How did I end up here...?" He wonders looking to see himself in his casual attire. "I was sleeping and... and..." Thinking hard, the memory from that night rushes back giving him a jolt of pain at his abdomen. "Ack!"
"It seems you have remembered." A voice speaks from behind.
Turning around, Relon is met with a familiar being floating before him. The humanoid entity he's come to know with a rough exterior. It's skin a mixture of mostly red with its limbs purple. Sharp blade-like bones protruding out behind its ankles and forearms with three toes on each foot. A long mane of red hair ending at its waist where an odd energy resembling a red cape begins. And the feature Relon is most familiar with; its red-slit eyes.
"Nameless."
"It's been a while. For you at least." He speaks, Relon raising an eyebrow.
"Your speech has changed. It's more causal now."
"Yes, observing your many speech patterns has helped me to find my own."
Listening to the entity, Relon can't help but chuckle.
"It's good to see you again. You've grown."
"It is only natural considering I dwell within you. As you grow, so do I. And I am not referring only to appearances."
"I know." Relon grips a hand. "I've come a long way in controlling your power, wouldn't you say?"
"You have. But this is only the beginning."
"You're right. So, how long have I been out?"
"Just under two days to be exact. Though for your information, it is Friday."
"Tomorrow we're supposed to leave for our field study. Great... Exactly, what happened to us?"
"I am unaware of the answer, sadly. It felt as though something- no. Someone was calling out to us."
"As for whom, it should be pretty obvious." Relon states pointing in a specified direction. "Mom was calling out to us from that direction. And there's only one place I know of that way."
"Ashland."
"Nameless, be honest with me." Relon mentions turning to said entity. "What exactly do you know about my family and yourself?" The entity eyes shifting slightly in response. "I'm not the child I once was, Nameless. And you are the only one aside from Mist- I mean Dad that knows me as well as myself. Those vague answers you gave me back then won't work." He states crossing his arms.
A moment of silence befalls the duo, neither averting their attention from the other. Neither speak nor think. Rather, they wait as only one is victorious. Sighing, Nameless beckons for Relon to follow as he floats away in the direction of the park's entrance. Following, both walk in stride in unison. Reaching the small clearing to the park, Relon widens slightly seeing Pippin floating near the orbal station.
"Pippin!" He smiles, the sword floating towards and around him nuzzling the young man. "Sorry to have worried you, partner." The sword shaking its handle dismissing the apology.
"Come." Nameless calls walking out into the light.
Giving a look to the other, both nod chasing after. Stepping into the light, all suddenly grows dark. Coming to, Relon looks around to see he now stands on a familiar path. A lush forest on one side and a dead one full of ash and soot on the other.
"How did...?" He mutters for Nameless to float into his peripheral and into the forest.
Following, it doesn't take long before the three come to a familiar tree. Resting a hand on it, he glances to Nameless.
"Shall we?" Nodding in response, they continue around the mountain to the entrance.
Floating forth, Nameless rests a hand on the wall for it to rise.
"So you can do that too, huh."
Walking inside, they stop before the dozens of tents.
"Why come here?"
"Follow me." Nameless calls floating forward.
Giving a small pout, he complies as they walk through and past the residential area descending deeper into the cave. Coming to the crystal portion, Nameless raises a hand releasing a small jet of fire igniting the ceiling bonfire. The crystalized area now illuminating in its brilliance.
Floating across the room, Nameless turns to face the duo.
"Again, why come here?"
"This place holds a sense of familiarity. One I cannot remember the reason for."
"Wait, what do you mean you 'can't remember?'"
"It is as I have stated. My memories are blank leading up to my awakening."
"So you have amnesia? Wait, you've had amnesia since that day? If that was the case, then why give me those vague answers?"
"Simple. I am a being that seemed to have come out of nowhere. No memory of my past and to suddenly be placed within a child, what was I too do to defend myself. It wasn't until time had past that I realized you truly meant no harm. Rather, your... 'father' was the one whom to watch out for."
"When you put it like that, it makes sense... Including the part about Mi- Dad." He corrects. "But still, once you knew I was a good guy, why not communicate? The last time I heard your voice was when I was falling into the ocean."
"There was no need to involve myself with your daily life. It wasn't until your life was in danger that I felt the need to intervene."
"Considering you live inside me, the latter makes sense." Relon notes crossing his arms.
"But you do not feel the prior does."
"Not at all. And you know the reasons why. You did see what I wrote in my letter back in the archives. By the way, I doubt that was the main tent, Pippin. But you just wanted to help me out with something more useful, right?" Relon glances to his partner who nods. "Thanks, buddy." He smiles patting it.
"I did indeed. I can also feel the reasons for what I say are wrong."
"Then you know what I'm about to say. Regardless, I'll say it anyway." He points a finger to the entity. "You're not just some being whose powers I use. Nor do I think of you as some prisoner within me who I can take advantage of. You said you lost your memory and in turn, your own name, right?"
"Correct."
Then let me help you out. You're Nameless, the entity that has helped me and Pippin out countless times in my life. You're more than my friend. You're family. The same as Pippin. We're a team the three of us. So don't you dare feel like you have no place to involve yourself in my life. You hear me?!"
Silence follows for Nameless to break it.
"Hmpf." He smirks crossing his arms. "I told you I both knew and felt the cause yet you still decided to spout on. The Wandering Beast has surely rubbed off on you."
"Damn right." Relon smirks back.
"... Very well. I'll take both your words and the feelings behind them to heart."
"Good. No more being isolated from the group, got it?"
"Hmpf. Now you're acting like a parent."
"Correction, I'm acting like how family should. No one gets left behind. You've been isolating yourself long enough. Time to get some social activity going." Relon states walking forward to put out him hand. "I said it once and I'll say it again. The three of us are a team. Let's give it our all, Nameless, Pippin." The sword nods placing its blade atop Relon's hand.
Glancing to the two, the entity nods placing its purple demonic hand atop Pippin.
"Agreed."
"We have new goals. Take down Senate, make it through Thors, and figure out the mysteries between both my past and Nameless'. Let's give it our all guys! Uh, actually, this may be kinda late but are you a male?"
"Yes? Why would you think otherwise?"
"Well Pippin is obviously genderless... I think and I don't like assuming even though I basically have for a while but just making sure! Anyway!" He sighs. "I think it's about time I faced the music."
"Are you sure you wish to leave so soon? You do know time flows differently in your subconscious."
"Yeah, the others, and Laura especially, must be worried as well as fiending with questions and after what I can only guess to be mom's calling, I think keeping the secret about us is all but futile."
"You have a plan, don't you?"
"Hey, you've been living inside me for about eight years. You should know the answer to that." Relon grins to close his eyes. "Alright, time to wake up. Oh, and you better not isolate yourself or so help me, I will find a way back here!" With those words, Pippin floats to his hand as a light seeps eveloping the boy.
After a moment, the two are gone leaving Nameless.
"I hear you loud and clear, Relon." Nameless chuckles.
Real World
Slowly opening his eyes, his sight is only a blur. Blinking a few times, he shivers slowly rising up.
Where am I? Oh, the infirmary.
Looking around, he finds Pippin laying next to him as well as his attire that of a patient's gown.
Looks like no one including the nurse is here.
It would appear so.
Jumping to his feet, he eases himself.
Okay, that surprised me. Definitely gonna need to get used to that.
As shall I. I sense multiple familiar heartbeats making their way here from the direction of your dormitory.
You can sense that far?
Yes. Considering your ability to sense one's heartbeat is thanks to my power, it is only natural.
When you put it like that you have a point. Who's coming?
Laura, Aurelia, Rean, Fie, your instructor, and whom I believe is the nurse. They're entering the school grounds now.
Looking around, he sees his uniform. Quickly changing, Relon finishes tying his shoes as the door opens. Walking inside, they all stop wide-eyed seeing Relon.
"Yo." He greets only to nearly be tackled off his feet by Laura. "Whoa!"
"RELON, ARE YOU OKAY?!" She exclaims pulling away from the sudden embrace, worry evident on her face.
"Yeah, sorry to have worried you. All of you. Some... stuff happened."
"My word, you're every bit as troublesome as that man was." Instructor Beatrix sighs walking over and eyeing the boy.
"That man?" He repeats to widen at the realization. "Sorry for all the trouble."
"Unlike him, you were no trouble at all. Quiet as a mouse. All of friends here have been taking turns waiting for you to wake up."
"Wait. All?" He glances to Aurelia.
"Yes. I, Laura, everyone apart of Class VII took turns waiting for you." She confirms to his surprise.
"Wow... Uh, thanks. I don't know what to say."
"It's just a shame that your secret had to come out under such bizarre circumstances." Beatrix sighs putting a hand to her cheek.
"It was only a matter of time but... I'm glad it happened." He smiles to everyone's shock. "I mean, I'm a little sour over how it happened but something good came out of it so I'm fine with everyone knowing. Sorry to keep such an odd thing from you, Aurelia."
"Pay it no mind. Everyone has secrets they wish to be kept." She waves off.
"Nurse Beatrix, if it's alright with you, I'm ready to go." Relon turns mentions.
"Have at it. I'll put down what happened as a normal thing for you." She off-handedly comments going to her desk.
Stepping outside, he stretches under the night sky.
"Maaaaaaaan, I needed that." He happily sighs, Pippin floating around him.
"You seem awfully happy considering what happened to you." Sara notes.
"I have a very good reason." He smiles standing up straight.
You could just tell them.
Nah, don't want to reveal my family stuff to Fie and Aurelia yet.
Heading back, it doesn't take long for the group to reach their dormitory, Sara having excused herself to take care of work. Reaching the dorm, all watch as Relon heads into the kitchen.
"Hey, Fie, Aurelia, could you girls get the others while I ready up some tea?"
Piquing up at the question, both nod. Watching them leave, he motions for the others inside.
Sitting down at the table, the two childhood friends and teacher watch as Relon shuffles around in the kitchen until turning the stove on.
"Alright, that's going." He huffs satisfied going to the others. "Man did a lot happen in such a little amount of time." He says sitting down next to Laura.
"So, you mind filling us in before the others get here?" Sara inquires.
"Before I do, you read everything on my background, right?"
"Yes, I know all about you being the son of the Wandering Beast as well as supposedly 'having a spirit inside of you.'"
"Okay, just making sure. As for what happened the other night, well..." He smiles. "My mom reached out to me. believe it or not."
"Wait, seriously?!" Rean gasps.
"Are you certain it was her?" Laura asks cautiously.
"Yeah, it was the same voice as from that night back in Legram. I'm sure of it. Besides, Nameless nor myself can summon rings of fire. At least, not yet. Right?"
Correct.
"Thought so."
"Relon, who are you talking to?" Rean wonders.
"Nameless, who-" He facepalms. "I should probably start responding to him through thought and not out loud."
That would be wise.
"He's finally speaking to you?" Laura gasps.
"Yeah, a lot of good came from such a painful experience." He chuckles.
"I'll say. Damn near gave me a heart attack when I stumbled upon you kids." Sara sighs.
"Sorry about that, Instructor Sara."
"As long as my pyrokinesis-using student is fine, then that's what matters." She dismisses with a hand. "But back to your mother."
"Yeah, she called out to both my sister and myself. And I could feel where the source of her came from; my home."
"I'm going to go on a limb and say you're not referring to what is registered in your paperwork."
"No." He shakes his head. "My real home. She was there and somehow called out to me. The next chance I get some time off, I'm heading back to see if she left anything for me."
She must have seen my note so now she knows where to find me.
Yes, but do keep in mind that she may not come right away.
I know. When the time comes, it'll happen. It's all about patience now.
"I think Relon is talking to Nameless." Rean comments.
"Huh? Sorry, talking to Nameless again. What did you say?"
"I said the next time you choose to go, I would like to accompany you." Laura repeats. "I've heard stories from you and I have never gotten the chance to go."
"Same here. It only feels right to go after everything you've told us about."
"Laura... Rean..."
These two have known you the longest.
Yeah. You're right about that. He smiles.
"Deal. The three of us will go."
"Well, I'd hate to cut our private session short but..." Sara interrupts, the three looking over to see the rest of Class VII begin to enter.
Emma being the first, stops to gasp.
"Relon?!" At her shout, the others rush in to see said boy.
"Yeah? That's me." He responds seeing Fie and Aurelia come joining the four. "What did you two tell them?"
"Sara was drunk and I needed help." Fie shrugs.
"H-Hey! What did I say about addressing me?!"
"Meh."
"I simply told the girls Instructor Sara needed assistance as it seemed urgent."
"Aurelia, you two?! And what's with you all seeming to have taken your time?! If someone's drunk, then they should get help right away!" All looking away to refocus on Relon.
"Relon, are you alright?" Elliot asks.
"Yep. Never felt better. Then again, the other night was probably the second worst feeling I've ever felt." He answers going to the kitchen and pouring tea.
"What was the first?" Machias asks, everyone taking a seat.
"Getting stabbed in the heart." He answers nonchalantly for everyone to gasp.
"E-EXCUSE ME?!"
"See? This is why I didn't give you the tea when you came in. Had I, you would have done probably the biggest spittake ever." Relon responds with a deadpanned expression as he passes out cups of tea.
"I'm sorry. I'm having a little trouble believing you could survive a stab to the heart." Alisa copies the martial artist's expression.
"Well duh. Why do you think I don't tell people." He walks over picking up a knife for all to see.
"What are you doing with that knife?" Gaius questions.
"Hey Pippin." He calls over the sword from Laura as it floats next to him. "This." He answers cutting across his arm wincing slightly.
"Have you lost your mind?!" Alisa exclaims.
"Calm down." He says putting the knife down to take Pippin, a flame appearing along the cut before it vanishes. "Look." Wiping off the blood, he raises his arm for all to see not a scratch evident. "Pippin can heal me. Don't know how far it goes nor am I curious to find out but considering it healed me as I was falling into the ocean with a minor hole in my chest, I'm not complaining." He seats at the front, eyes of bewilderment on him.
"If you guys have questions, which I'm sure you do, now's the time to ask them." Sara mentions taking a sip of tea. "I still want that recipe for this stuff."
"Still not getting it."
"Relon." Jusis calls.
"Yeah?"
"You can wield fire, can't you?"
"I'm guessing you saw some of it back when we fought that gargoyle, didn't you?"
"I caught but a glimpse. At first, I perceived it as simply my imagination but after what I saw, I never my mind was not playing tricks on me."
"Wait, is what Jusis saying actually true?" Elliot asks. "Can you really wield fire?"
"Yup. See?" He holds out his palm, a flame igniting out of think air.
"Whoa..." The group awes.
"Mhmm." He hums taking a sip, the flavor delectable as always. "Next question."
"The other night we witnesses a transformation of sort." Aurelia mentions for Relon to nod.
"Indeed you did." He says getting to his feet. "Let's step outside for a second."
Giving one another odd looks, everyone follows the boy down the road just outside of Trista.
"Alrighty..." He mutters stepping away from his class. "This is good enough."
Ready Nameless?
Need you even ask?
"Heh. HA!" Relon shouts, flames scorching the earth beneath him as a small explosion erupts to reveal Relon in his altered form. "This is what you all witnessed the other night; my true power."
None respond only takin in the pure power radiating from the teen. All except one. Walking forward, Aurelia stands before him. Not speaking a word, she only draws upon her sword pointing at Relon.
"Aurelia... what are you doing?" Alisa calls nervously.
"Isn't it obvious? I wish to see just how mighty this 'true power' really is. Considering his known skill, my body is screaming out in excitement."
"You can't be serious." Jusis utters.
"Oh, but I am. If you all aren't going to speak your mind, then I see no reason to wait. Either speak with words or speak through action! Remaining idle will take you nowhere!" She denounces to the class swinging her blade.
"Hmpf. She saw right through everyone." Sara chuckles.
"She has always be an incredible swordswoman and not just in the form but the mindset as well."
"Yeah, it shows." Rean agrees.
"... Thanks, Aurelia. But just so you know, when I'm like this, I don't hold back."
Turning back forward, she readies herself.
"Good. I always figured you were hiding something through our spars and now I get to see what you're truly capable of."
"If it helps, anyone can join your side. Even Instructor Sara if she wants." He grins for all to go wide-eyed. "I don't plan on holding anything back!" He releases a growl, his arm blazing with fire so hot, many have to step away from the pure heat.
Except one. Stepping forward withdrawing her greatsword, Laura stands next to Aurelia.
"Mind if I joined in the battle?"
"I wouldn't have it any other way. The two best female Arseid students versus the best male."
"Aren't those numbers a little unfair?" Relon chuckles getting into a ready stance.
"You aren't using Pippin?" Laura questions with a smirk.
"Not this time. I want to enjoy this so make me work for it girls!" He roars, the heatwave becoming more intense.
"Laura, now is the time to link!"
"I agree!"
At their feet, the indication of a link forms.
"One last thing. More so a word of advice for everyone. Don't bother using fire or water arts. They won't work." He readies himself.
"All my fire arts will do in energize him." Laura notes.
"Then if we wish to counter his flames with arts, we'll have to rely on my space arts. Very well then."
"You two ready?" Both nod. "Alright then..." He vanishes to everyone's shock reappearing between the two.
So fast! Both girls mentally exclaim for Laura to barely block a kick and Aurelia a backfist sending both off the road.
"Now then..." He lowers his arm and leg. "Let's get started!" He blitzes towards Laura, the girl already recovering to her feet to swipe at him but misses.
Pivoting around her, he grabs the girl by the back of the collar before tossing her across the road. Recovering she lands on her feet next to Aurelia.
"Golden Sphere!" The woman shouts, golden orbs appearing out of thin air to shoot towards Relon.
Grinning, he reers back his fist to fire a stream of flames easily going through the art.
"Gonna have to try harder than that!" He shouts blitzing the duo once more, all anyone can make out is a red streak.
"Here he come!"
"We'll fight as one!" Laure shouts, the two meeting the boy for sparks to fly all over the place from their clashes.
"Such power...!" Gaius remarks.
He really is one. He's just like auntie! Emma thinks eyeing the boy.
"Either speak with words or speak through action. Remaining idle will take you nowhere." Sara quotes Aurelia's words gaining the class' attention. "Tell me, are you all really that bothered by such a power?" She turns to eye the class.
"Me? Afraid?" Jusis questions.
"Yes, you. From the looks on all of your faces, you clearing were horrified by how Relon looked that night. Then again, I could be wrong for all I know." She shrugs looking back ahead to the fight.
"Instructor Sara..." Rean murmurs.
Glancing to his classmates, he sees their troubled expressions to gain one of his own.
If I told them about my power, would they react the same?
Looking to the boy, Fie glances at the troubled expressions of their classmates.
If I told them that I was a jaeger, I wouldn't care too much. But... if Rean knew, how would he react? Pondering the thought, she dismisses it. Now isn't the time to worry about myself. Right now, Rean and Relon are the ones who need help.
Tugging at Rean's sleeve, the boy is snapped from his thoughts looking to the girl.
"What's up?" He asks masking his troubled expression.
"Regardless of what people think, you should worry only about what your real friends think." She mutters low enough for only Rean and Sara to hear.
Widening his eyes, he can only watch as the girl walks forward withdrawing her gunswords for rest to widen as well.
"You're joining them, Fie?" Sara wonders with a grin.
"Yep. Those two seem like they could use it." She shrugs.
"Are you nuts?! Those two are already insane not to mention Relon!" Machias exclaims adjusting his glasses. "Relon is, well... you know!"
"So?" Her lazy expression evident. "Who cares about that? Relon is still Relon." With that last comment, she jumps into the fray firing bullets for Relon to back away from his skirmish watching Fie land in front of the Arseid swordswomen.
"You're joining us, Fie?"
"Yeah. Seemed fun. That and you two could use the help." She gives another shrug.
"Very well then. With you, we'll have a much easier time." Aurelia grins.
"Think you can keep up with my speed, Fie?"
"One way to find out." She retorts, both sides rushing in.
Fie jumping into the air aiming at Relon. Jumping to meet her, he is intercepted by both Arseid-users to land forcing the boy to dodge and deflect the incoming bullets.
Listening to Fie's words, Jusis' mind wandering back to orientation.
Flashback
"Hey, is it alright if we stick together until the others find us?"
"Why ask me?"
"Just in case you don't want me around since you went all solo earlier. I mean, if you don't that's fine. I'll just go on ahead." Relon shrugs.
"I meant why do you care about my opinion instead of doing whatever it is you wish?"
"Because everyone's opinion matters, why else? If this has to do with social classes, let me just say this. I honestly don't care whether someone is a commoner or noble. I have friends that wish they were commoners and vice versa but that doesn't mean not everyone deserves a fair chance."
End Flashback
Everyone deserves a fair chance... huh? Relon treated me as he would anyone else despite my social status. Making up his mind, he steps forward.
"You too, Jusis?" Alisa exclaims.
"Regardless of what he is, Fie makes a point. He is still Relon. As a noble, I feel foolish to have been blinded by such a fact." He withdraws his saber.
"Jusis is right." Emma speaks up moving forward. "I'm sure we all have secrets which we wish to keep hidden. We shouldn't judge one another regardless of how odd and bizarre it may be." She states withdrawing her orbal staff.
"I do not know just how different everything is compared to my homeland but we all are students from different backgrounds. What we have experienced are vastly different yet we're here all the same." Gaius walks forward withdrawing his spear. "Relon may be special, but he us still my friend."
"U-Um..." Stepping forth withdrawing his orbal staff, Elliot looks on nervously. "It honestly was wrong for us to judge Relon. Looking back on it, I feel horrible for it. But, Aurelia makes a good point. If we can't speak through words, then action is what's needed. And after spending time around Relon, that's rather simple to do." He chuckles albeit nervously.
"You too, Emma, Elliot?" Alisa says bewildered.
"There's no point in backing down." All look to see Machias pumping his shotgun.
"Even you Machias?"
"I'm shocked." Jusis states. "I thought for sure you would be cowering in fear from such a power."
"The mere notion of you one-uping me is something I refuse to accept! But still, Relon is a good guy. I've already misjudged him once. I don't want to make that mistake again judging him solely off of what we saw.."
"And judging nobles are fine?"
"YOU PEOPLE ARE A COMPLETE DIFFERENT STORY! Bah, this isn't about you so get off your high horse and either step aside or help the others out!"
"Haha, there they go." Emma says to look at Alisa. "Well, Alisa?"
Not responding, she looks past her classmates to Relon. Focusing more, she takes notice of the grin he has as well as a grin on the others.
Running beside one another, Relon's fist clashes with Fie's gunsword. Raising his leg in an attempt to kick the girl, she jumps over him regrouping with the other two.
"Now this is quite enjoyable, wouldn't you two say?" Aurelia says.
"Indeed!"
"Meh."
"Come now, Fie. It's obvious you are. You seem just as motivated during our practical." Laura smiles for Fie to lower her eyes raising her gunswords to Relon.
"... Meh." She mutters with a tint of pink on her cheeks before firing.
Releasing another stream of fire, the three girls evade as the fire careens towards a hepless tree.
"Oops." He walks over ceasing his transformation.
"Elliot, quick, put the fire out." Alisa says.
"I got it." Relon calls raising a hand towards the tree for the fire to be sucked toward his hand. "There. Mini crisis averted." He jokes.
"You can absorb fire too?" Alisa wonders, class grouping around him.
"Yeah. Whenever I trained, I always ended up sucking in whatever fire was around. Just because I'm a pyrokinetic, doesn't mean I don't love nature." He chuckles.
"Huh..." Closing her eyes for a moment, she ooens them with a determined look withdrawing her orbal bow.
"Hm..." He glances around seeing all of the others with their weapons drawn.
Glancing to Rean, he finds the boy in thought.
"Regardless of what people think, you should worry only about what your real friends think."
Opening them, he unsheathes his tachi. Grinning, Relon walks over to him.
"This is a major opportunity and who knows when another chance like this will come. You sure though, Rean?" Relon comments raising a hand for Pippin to fly into it.
"Yeah. If you're not holding back then I won't either." He raises the hilt of his sword up eyeing Fie. (It's thanks to her that I have the courage to do this after all.)
(Seems like you owe her one.) Red heat beginning to expel.
(I owe the both of you.) He corrects, a dark aura veiling the boy.
"No way...!" Machias groans.
"Sorry, mine isn't the same as Relon's but..." A burst of energy pressure comes forth. "If you have questions..." He begins, his appearance now altered,
"We'll be happy to answer them afterwards! Ablaze!" Relon finishes with a mighty shout.
"Rean too?!" Gaius says in surprise.
"Ready yourselves!" Aurelia warns, the class forming links.
"I'm giving you all 100% so don't hate me for this! Ready, Pippin?"
"Could you maybe lower it by about 95%?" Elliot whines.
"No way! Ready to keep going, Laura?"
"As always! Hold nothing back!"
"Here we come, Fie!"
"Ready when you are!"
Lurching forward, they charge. Chaos ensues all over the road leaving Sara to watch humored as she drinks a mug of beer.
"Ahhhh~. Warm Tea is good but nothing beats a nice, cold beer." Lowering it, she glances at the class.
Fie, Gaius, and Jusis using wind arts to combat Relon's flames. Rean zooming between Gaius, Laura, and Aurelia. Alisa and Machias firing when given an opening leaving Elliot and Emma in the rear to cast supporting arts.
