Ricki123: i wonder what will happen when laura learn about claire and relon relationship

It's... gonna be interesting. I haven't decided on exactly how she'll react yet, but I have a few ideas to choose from.

LightSpecter141: Talk about a bombshell! In light of Misty's relation to Relon, I think it would be a travesty if you don't include Emma eventually realizing that Relon's basically her nephew and also include some funny moments of "Auntie or Aunt Emma."

YOU ALREADY KNOW I'M GOING TO. And going off of the very odd family tree in this fanfic, Emma is Relon's cousin not to mention they're the same age. But once mom gets more directly involved (end of Cold Steel 1 into Cold Steel 2), things are gonna be banging full of moments both good and bad.

FieLover: Aww that moment of Relon back in Celdic puts a smile on my face. But I have a bad feeling just like what Fie had...

Teehee, Relon is the pride of Celdic after all. And I'll just leave you with this. How bad do you think Relon's luck is? ;)

Speedkarate: Well good chapter and I was shocked about Misty nice plot twist. I am looking forward Relon reaction in the future. What good start in this field study study.

Thank you! I've always loved her character and when I started brainstorming the small changes, she stuck out and I just had to do something with her and Crow. I already have his reaction burned into my head and I physically and emotionally CAN'T WAIT to get to that part.

tackler5rb: A fantastic chapter as always! Gotta love the Fie x Rean moment. Poor Fie falling for a dense one and am excited for the rest of the field study!

Can't say no to some good fluff. And poor Fie indeed. This Field Study will definitely be lit. No pun intended, haha.

A/N: No skit this time, but MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! With how hectic 2020 has been, I pray and hope you all are having a good holiday. This chapter is just my holiday gift to hopefully brighten your day up. Also, I have a question and favor to ask of you all. Would you readers like for me to write BOTH Field Studies whenever they take place or just stick with writing only about the canon one? Obviously, if you all would prefer both, then the plot will just take longer but I have plenty of ideas that would be a good fit and make up for the slower pace. Reminder, both Field Studies will NOT be the same length chapter-wise. At least, no promises. One may be more action-packed than the other for example. Again, this is just an idea and thought I'd try out the poll system. Much appreciated :)

Also, 5 reviews for a single chapter?! Damn, that's a record in my book. Thank you so much everyone for the reviews!

Having stepped outside after Sara's explanation, the six group up to plan their next course of action.

"So, can you guys explain what you meant exactly by this field study relating to your work with the student council?" Alisa asks.

"Simply put, having to do those tasks for the student council really helped us to understand Trista better. The same thing can be said here. It's a field study. We're supposed to learn the land as we go about our work. Or at least, you guys learn since I already know about Celdic."

"This may be an invaluable opportunity to gather local knowledge of a place we may otherwise never have visited." Aurelia notes.

"Then it is a good thing we have our own personal guide." Laura smiles for Relon to nod.

"All in favor of getting this show on the road, say I!" Relon pumps a fist.

"I!" They all cheer.

"Alright! Time to knock out that tour and those quests but first..." Relon turns eyeing the familiar building. "Would it be alright if I stopped by the orphanage?"

"Of course! It's not everyday you get to see family while away."

"Elliot's right. Besides, we've only heard from them in letters so meeting them is something I'm looking forward to." Rean says.

"As am I." Laura agrees.

"I see no problem with it." Aurelia says.

"I'm game. I love kids."

"Thanks, guys."

Walking over past the chapel, they stop before the building next to it.

"So this is the famous orphanage..." Laura mutters.

"Mhmm. But first..." He turns around going to the benches.

"Meow."

All turn to see Relon bent down petting a black cat curled up on the bench.

"Hey there, Null. Miss me?"

"Meow!" The cat responds getting up and stretching before jumping onto his back rubbing its face against the back of his head.

Mi- Dad was right. This is uncomfortable.

After a moment, it hops down curling back in its spot.

"So that's Null." Rean comments.

If I remember right, Fie loves cats.

"Yup. Been apart of the orphanage longer than I have." He chuckles, Alisa walking up and rubbing the cat for it to purr in delight.

"Awe, its fur is so smooth."

"Believe it or not, Null is always on this bench. It's pretty rare to her actually walking around town."

"Really?"

"Yup." He stands up looking at the front door.

Digging into his pocket, he pulls out a key. Inserting it, he turns the knob opening the door. Taking a step in, he pauses.

"It's only been barely over two weeks yet there's this anxiety." He mutters.

"That's only natural." Laura speaks walking next to him.

"That's part of being human and having a family." Rean adds resting a hand on his friend's shoulder.

"Laura... Rean..." At a loss for words, Relon can only breath a single chuckle. "Thanks you two."

(As amazing as Relon is, I still find it hard to believe he isn't human. Hearing him tell us about how he's still learning humanistic qualities was difficult to believe until now.) Elliot whispers with a smile next to Aurelia and Alisa.

(Even so, it does not change who he is at heart. Besides, it shows he's becoming more human with ever experience. Though Laura and Rean seem more attached to him compared to the rest of us.) Aurelia smiles.

(Those two are his childhood friends so it makes sense that they know more and are closer to him than us.) Alisa notes.

"So are you going to announce you're back?" Elliot asks, the three walking up behind the childhood trio.

"No need. They already know I'm here." Relon smiles walking past the reception desk and down a hall.

Hearing the chatter of children, the group stops before an open door peering in to see around two dozen kids of varying ages. Taking a step inside, all the chatter ceases as all eyes go to Relon.

"Hey, everyone, I'm back." He raises a hand.

"Uh... should we back away?" Elliot wonders.

"You guys should back away." He grins, his classmates obeying as the kids' eyes begin to gleam.

"RELON! PIPPIN!" They shout rushing and tackling the boy down to the ground piling on the flame-user.

Speaking through a muffled voice through the pile of children, he reaches an arm through the chatting orphans.

"Help... Pippin..." He voices in distress though Pippin is in a similar situation.

"Okay, everyone, I think that's enough of their well-deserved home welcoming." A female voice calls gaining everyone's attention.

Looking, Class VII sees a boy and girl the same age as them approach. The girl with short pink hair and red eyes along with the boy having silver hair and gold eyes.

"Care to help out family, Blaze, Silver?" Relon asks through muffles.

Getting the children off, Silver helps the boy up.

"Always getting into something. Can you ever just stay out of stuff like us? Oh, nice hair by the way" Silver smirks.

"Hey, what's that suppose to mean? Pippin and I don't choose for stuff to happen! I just have bad luck!"

"Yeah, sure you do. After what you and uncle have done over the years, I doubt that." Silver shrugs.

"What's that supposed to mean?!" A tic mark appearing for Relon.

"Silver, enough." Blaze mutters chopping his head to knock the boy over.

"Ouch! What was that for?!"

"You're doing it again. Stop troubling our brother. Relon, welcome home. Like the new bangs."

"Thanks, Blaze. You would think your whole tendency to misdirect the meanings of what you say after so long would stop but you cease to amaze me yet again, bro." Relon chuckles.

"Hey, I'm just saying!" He defends.

"Man, I missed you guys." He turns to his classmates. "Why are y'all still standing there?"

"We didn't want to interrupt your reunion." Rean answers, the group walking over.

"You guys, this is Blaze and Silver. Blaze and Silver, these are my friends from Thors. Kids, say hello."

"HELLOOOOOOOOOO!"

"Awe, they're all precious!" Alisa squeals bending down to a portion of the kids.

"You weren't joking about liking kids, huh?" Elliot chuckles.

"I'm guessing you all saw my appearance?" Relon asks.

"Yeah, the moment the kids did, it took everything Blaze and I had to hold them back from rushing outside. It was so bad we had to get Aunt Cecily involved." Silver sighs.

"Haha... sorry about that." Relon rubs the back of his head apologetically.

"Don't worry about it." Blaze dismissed. "We're just happy to have you back."

"It's good to be back." He nods in agreement. "I'm guessing Noro and Aunt Cecily are upstairs?"

"Yeah. Aunt Cecily just took Reta up." Silver says.

"We'll go with you." Blaze adds, the eight teens bidding later to the children as they eventually reach a pair of stairs with an orbal wheelchair at the bottom.

Heading up the stairs, Relon knocks.

"Come in." A woman's voice sounds.

Complying, he opens the door as all step inside.

Sitting on a stool next to a bed where a girl lays is a woman wearing denim overalls overtop what seems like a yellow long sleeve blouse. She has navy blue hair with a small portion pointing outwards behind each ear and navy blue eyes.

"You know, you're picking up on Yujiro's bad habits." She notes smiling at the boy.

"I swear it wasn't my intention Aunt Cecily." He walks over hugging the woman before letting go, Cecily holding his arms as she takes checks over the boy.

"You've already grown a little. I like the new look." She smiles. "I knew Thors was the right call."

"Hehe, thanks. It's also thanks to my friends that I'm the way that I am even if it's only been two weeks." He chuckles.

"Keep in mind that it doesn't matter how long one is gone, what matters is the effort put in while they are away."

"Wiser words cannot be spoken." Aurelia compliments.

Looking past Cecily, he takes sight of his pride and joy.

"Welcome home, big brother."

Taking a seat on the bed, he grips her hand gently giving the warmest smile he can.

"I'm home, Noro."

"So this Noro." Laura comments for the young girl to look to the guests.

"Noro, these are my friends from Thors. Rean, Laura, Elliot, Alisa, and Aurelia."

Pulling the covers off of her, she turns for her feet to hang off the side of the bed as she bows to the group.

"It is nice to meet you. Thank you for looking out for my big brother."

"Awe, she's so cute~!"

"It's no problem at all." Rean says, all ignoring Alisa's squeals. "He's helped us out more than once already."

"That isn't true, Rean." Relon laughs.

"I'm glad. You have no idea how relieved we were to hear you and Laura were attending. I didn't want my only nephew to be on the reserved side but by the looks of things, that plan didn't work out." Cecily chuckles.

"Yeah..." Relon sighs. "That and a few other plans fell through the roof as well some... unforeseen events happen."

"Hm?"

"Like what?" Silver asks.

"Well, considering he transformed, that secret is out. And naturally that also means his ability to wield fire is so that's two. Then there's the matter of Pippin so that's three." Blaze counts.

"So much for keeping to yourself." Silver snickers to get an elbow by Blaze and a glare by Relon.

"Like I said, unforeseen events happened."

"I'm listening." Cecily says.

"Well..."

One Explanation Later

"Are you for real?" Silver questions.

"Yeah."

"Well..." Cecily begins. "Now we know she's out there looking for you. And considering you left a note, it may not be long now."

"But I can't help but wonder why now?" Blaze mentions. "Why hasn't she contacted you within the last 17 years."

"Well, considering what happened to the rest of his clan, we can only speculate she and whoever else has been on the run." Cecily answers.

"Um, excuse me." Elliot raises a hand.

"What's up, Elliot?" Relon asks.

" A second ago, you all said Relon's clan, but aren't you all Lucinances?"

"... Relon, you haven't told them?" Blaze, Silver, and Cecily all ask in unison.

"I told you, I'm not going to just blatantly reveal everything about myself!" He defends for all to sigh.

"I bet you haven't told them about uncle, have you?" Blaze shakes her head.

"Now that you mention it, Relon address you as Aunt Cecily, so who's his father? He told us he's adopted so we just assumed his father was a Lucinance as well."

"Have you told them about the prin- Mm!" Silver is unable to finish as Relon lunges forth covering his mouth.

"Silver, I will burn your taste buds if you reveal that! Got it?" All the boy can do is nod for a sigh to escape Cecily.

"Relon, sooner or later, they'll find out."

"Yeah, I plan on telling them sooner or later."

"At the very least, you could tell them your full name." Blaze says.

"If I do that, that reveals not only who my 'dad' is but a few other things."

"Is anyone else lost or is it just me?" Alisa says looking back and forth between the family members.

"I'm guessing this is a matter you two are aware of?" Aurelia asks.

"Yeah, though it's not really our place to tell." Rean chuckles.

"Our apologies." Laura nods.

"It's not problem. I mean, considering how big of a deal Relon is making it out, it must be important to him to keep it a secret." Elliot waves it off.

"I've never seen him so defensive about something like this though. Aside from his fire I guess." Alisa notes.

"Relon, considering how you're acting, you haven't told them about that person."

"Which one? Wait, is this person someone I've fought with?" She nods. "DEFINITELY NOT! I don't plan on revealing that for a looooooooong while!" He exclaims.

"Relon." Cecily calls gaining his attention. "You may as well tell them considering how much we've already spoken."

"But-"

"Relon." Her tone remaining motherly though she gives a knowing look. "Either you tell them about us three or we tell them about those three."

"You wouldn't!"

"When have I ever lied to you." She smiles sweetly leaving Relon's jaw slightly dropped at the realization.

"You know you're forcing me to reveal more secrets than I am comfortable with."

"You know I'm doing this out of love."

Twitching his eyes while deciding, he can only give a defeated sigh.

"Fine, you win." The Namikaze family smiling at one another.

Sitting next to Norowareta, he faces Class VII. Silver taking a seat next to Relon, Blaze next to Norowareta leaving Cecily to stand up next to the four.

"It's nice to meet you, Class VII. My name is Cecily Namikaze, I'm a alumna of Thors." Cecily smiles for Alisa and Aurelia to go buck wide.

"My name is Blaze Namikaze. Thank you again for caring for my brother." Blaze smiles to Norowareta who nods.

"My name is Norowareta Namikaze." She greets in her usual low voice.

"I'm Silver Namikaze!" The boy grins, the four looking to Relon expectantly.

"I know! I know!" He grumbles to ease himself. "My full name is Relon Tarbin Namikaze-Lucinance. And to answer the nearing question, as for who my father is... if you haven't guess it, he's Yujiro Namikaze. Otherwise known as the legendary Wandering Beast." He finishes with a sigh.

"No way!" Alisa exclaims. "You're the legendary Weapon Collector?!"

"The woman with mastery over any weapon she touches?!" Aurelia gasps, both girls with clear interest.

"Correction; I only have mastery over weapons I've trained with. My reputation tends to be altered slightly." The woman chuckles.

"And your father is the Wandering Beast?!" Aurelia demands for Relon to sigh nodding.

"I'm kinda lost. Are those names famous or something?" Elliot asks for both girls to snap to him giving the most fearful of looks getting in his face.

"Are you serious?!"

"How have you not heard of the Namikazes?!" Aurelia demands to look away cupping her hands as sparkles float around the sudden fangirl. "The Legendary Weapon Collector and the Wandering Beast. Brother and Sister who went to Thors and gained numerous achievements during their time both while enrolled at Thors and after graduation! All fighters wish to get the chance to fight against such opponents!" She snaps back to Elliot.

"The Wandering Beast is said to be so strong, mere blades or bullets can't cut his skin." Alisa explains.

"That's true." The Namikazes voice nonchalantly.

"See?! He spent time training to the point where he picked up on the ability to talk to beast monsters!"

"Also true." The voice in unison.

"Yujiro even taught Relon how to." Cecily adds for all eyes to go on the facepalming boy who just nods.

"Whoa..." Elliot awes.

"But that's not it! He is so strong, it is put on a scale of unimaginable power for simple humans to have! That's how strong he is! And then we're in the same room as the Weapon Collector! One of the greatest marksman before orbal technology was even created!" Alisa and Aurelia jumps in place.

"Eeeeeeeeeeeeh!" Both girls squeal.

"Looks like you have some fans, mom." Silver sweatdrops.

"This is why I didn't want to reveal my name." Relon groans. "Sorry for the noise, Noro." He rests a hand on the girl.

I knew Alisa was girly but I never thought I'd hear Aurelia squeal like the girls back at St. Astraia.

"I don't mind." She gives a small smile to blink in repetition for Relon to look at what caught her eye to once again twitch an eye.

Before them kneeling and bowing respectively is Aurelia and Alisa.

"Oh, Weapon Collector, it would be an honor to request a duel with you. I, Aurelia Le Guin, would be beyond honored by such a chance to test myself!"

"I wish for a match too! You've been my idol ever since I first started learning how to use the bow! Pretty please!"

"Oh, brother, you two..." Relon shakes to pause. "What about our requests?!"

"Oh, those aren't hard at all. You could probably take care those by yourself." Cecily dismisses getting to her feet. "Alright." She smiles for both girls to look up. "Show me what you two can do!"

Dojo

"This is really happening." Relon facepalms once again, everyone having gone to the dojo where he stands on the sidelines with his siblings and classmates.

At the center stands Cecily against Aurelia and Alisa.

"So, who exactly do I have the honors of going against in this match?" Cecily questions pointing a greatsword at the two, a bow and arrow on her back.

"Alisa R, a member of Class VII."

"Hm? That's it?"

"Y-Yes!"

"Aurelia Le Guin, practitioner in both the Vander and the Arseid Style, countess of the Le Guin family, and member of Class VII."

"My, it's been some time since I fought against someone with the Vander style. Make sure you both give me a good match, okay?"

"Yes ma'am!" Both exclaim withdrawing their weapons, a link forming between them.

"So they're going with links." Blaze notes.

"Yeah, how do you know about them?" Relon asks.

"Oh, you'll find out soon enough." Silver grins.

"If you say so."

"Relon, how do you think they fair against Ms. Cecily?" Laura asks.

"Well, considering I've never beaten her even with my transformation and Pippin, I think they are more than up for a tough challenge."

"Really? Your transformation is crazy strong though." Elliot mutters. "Makes me wonder who's stronger; Ms. Cecily or Instructor Sara."

"I want to say Aunt Cecily because of the obvious but that's honestly a good question." Relon hums aloud.

"Are you three ready?" Blaze asks stepping between both sides.

"Of course."

"Yes/Yeah!"

"Alright, start!" Blaze casts down her arm stepping off the field.

Aurelia rushes forward as Alisa fires arrows covering her partner. Looking at the incoming threats, Cecily remains still twisting her body out of the way of the arrows until Aurelia spins slashing diagonally at the woman. Blocking the attack with her own sword with one hand, Cecily pushes Aurelia off with ease.

As Aurelia slides back, she begins casting an art, Alisa already finishing hers.

"Heatwave!"

A strong heatwave arises from the ground where Cecily is for the woman to dodge away shifting to her bow and arrow firing shot after shot. Forced to stop her own casting, Aurelia begins cutting away at each and every one.

Readying a single arrow, Alisa waits patiently for the right time. Seconds pass and Aurelia cuts down an arrow aimed at Alisa.

Now!

"Flamberge!" She fires an arrow suddenly alit in flames, the attack piercing through an arrow fired by Cecily as it soars towards the woman.

Narrowing her eyes, she cancels drawing another arrow to catch the attack with her bare hand mere inches from her face.

"Hm. Not bad." She smiles looking past the weapon at the girls.

Spinning the flaming arrow holding it aimed at the girls, she throws it. The arrow soaring so fast, neither can react as it zooms past colliding with a wall. A single second passes before a shiver goes down Alisa's spine, both slowly looking to see the arrow deeply lodged into the wall.

"W-Whoa..."

"Such power... and with a mere flick...!"

"Yup. That's Aunt Cecily. Honestly, I want to see her and Mi- I mean dad go at it."

"They haven't?" Rean asks.

"We have." Cecily answers gaining all's attention. "But he can never fight seriously because I'm his sister. So whenever we do fight, I always win."

That's understandable considering their bond.

"Well, you are his sister." Silver notes.

"Still, a little bruise wouldn't hurt anyone." Cecily pouts to turn to the two girls. "Shall we continue?"

"Yes, please!" Both exclaim.

"From what I can tell, you're both already quite skilled. Though if I had to say what your weaknesses were..." She switches back to her greatsword disappearing to reappear behind Aurelia.

Reacting a second too late, she is kicked in her back. Jumping away, Alisa fires arrow after arrow, Cecily again dodging with ease to meet Alisa as she lands before grabbing her boy lifting it up and kicking the girl over to Aurelia.

"Aurelia, your strength is phenomenal but your reaction time is somewhat on the slow side and Alisa, your accuracy is wonderful but you'll never hit your target with that speed even for an orbal bow." Cecily states walking to the girls.

"Ouch..." Alisa groans, her and Aurelia slowly getting to their feet.

"Work on that and you two will be a force to be reckoned with." She smiles for the two to awe at the woman.

"Thank you. I shall take your words to heart." Aurelia bows.

"Thank you so much. Your advice is greatly appreciated." Alisa bows.

"Now then, I suppose we should get out of the way for the next match." Cecily smiles looking to the Namikazes.

"Next match?" Elliot wonders for Blaze and Silver to step forward, the two looking to Relon with confident expressions.

"You two sure about this?" Relon wonders with a raised brow.

"Don't underestimate us just because you have more experience." Silver grins.

"We too have been training for some time an we wish to test ourselves against you." Blaze says.

Looking between the two, Relon smirks pulling out his gloves.

"Alright, show your dear brother how far you two have come in such a short time!"

Facing off, silver pulls out what seems like two arrowhead-daggers and Blaze a rapier.

"I know you two started training a little before I left, but I'm curious to see what you're made off." He calls from across the dojo.

"It would be wise to not underestimate us, Relon." Blaze notes.

"You don't have to remind me. Considering Aunt Cecily has been training you two, I can only imagine what it's been like since Dad and I left."

"It's been brutal, I'll tell you that." Silver groans. "Between Mom and Blaze, I haven't had any breaks."

"Haha, I feel sorry for you, bro. But hey, at least now we get to have some fun! Let's see if you two can get my blood going!"

"Are both sides ready?" Cecily asks for the three to nod. "Then let the match... begin!"

Wasting no time, Relon rushes forth as does the two. Reaching them first, he throws a punch for Blaze to parry to the side before going for a jab. One which misses as Relon pivots his body so his descending body is towards the ground. Seeing her chance, Blaze readies to strike at the helpless boy but Relon planting his hand firm on the ground, pivots once more turning deliver a heel to the girl. Seeing it out the corner of her eye, she turns to block the hit, the force sending her away for Silver to catch her.

"You alright?"

"Y-Yeah."

"Good." Looking to Relon get to his feet, a grin forms on Silver's face. "My turn." He steps forward.

Taking me on one at a time? Do they want to see where they stand or... is there more to it than just that? He readies himself eyeing Silver's weapon of choice.

In doing so, the silver-haired boy throws it at Relon. Widening for only a second, he dodges out of the way for Silver to throw another near his leg. dodging back the way he came, Relon widens as something touches his neck.

Wires?!

Reeling his head away, he trips on another falling to the side. Taken aback, he realizes Silver is upon him already extending another arrowhead-dagger.

"Silver's got him!" Blaze cheers for the rest to watch in awe.

You're mine!

"Not yet." Relon mumbles spinning a leg downwards to his Silver's hand, both jumping away from the other. "So that's the uniqueness of your weapon. Those arrowhead-daggers have strings so thin, it's almost impossible to see with the human eye unless light is reflected at the right angle."

"Tch, of course you'd figure it out." Silver curses.

"If it wasn't for my martial arts, you would have had me. I'm impressed." Relon grins cracking his knuckles and head. "Now then... how about you show me why we Namikazes are so deadly as a team." He remarks, his tone serious.

"Ready, Silver?" Blaze asks, her rapier poised at Relon while Silver recalls his daggers.

"Yeah, let's show him what we got." He grins, circles appearing beneath them for a line to connect the two symbols to everyone's shock.

"How are they using links?!" Rean exclaims.

"I though our school was the only one to have released such technology!" Laura adds in equal shock.

"Not long after Relon left for Thors, we received some gifts from a close friend." Cecily reveals.

"So that's what you meant earlier..." He hums, the woman only holding a confident look of her own. "If you two are using links then..." His eyes narrow slightly.

"Seems Relon is aware of the situation he's in." Cecily comments. "Who do you want to win, Reta?" The girl seeming to think for a moment.

"I don't know." She shakes her head. "Both sides."

"Hmm, interesting."

Looking to the two, he watches Silver position himself slightly behind Blaze.

So he'll be covering her. And on her weaker side no less. These two... He gives one last glance to Cecily before returning forward. If I'm not careful, this will be over before it starts. I don't want fight handicapped but if things continue to escalate, I might have to-

"Get serious." Cecily calls interrupting his thoughts. "If you don't get serious, then they'll wipe the floor with you. And you know Silver, he'll hold anything over your head."

"Mom's right!" Relon looks to Silver. "Before you and uncle came, I was the man of the house. And afterwards, that title went to Uncle Yujiro. Most of his time was spent training you while I helped out here in the orphanage yet he still helped with the kids as well as everything else because he's strong! So don't hold back just because we're not on your level yet Relon! I'm gonna show you what it means to be the man of the house! I'll show you that I'm strong too!" A wave of power washing over the room for a moment.

"Atta boy." Cecily comments.

"I'm with you Silver! We'll show him together!"

"Yeah!"

"Silver has proclaimed such a outcry. How shall Relon respond?" Aurelia questions.

"Silver..." Relon closes his eyes. "Fine then. Prove to me that the orphanage is in your capable hands!" He rushes forth.

"Gladly!" She responds beginning to cast an art with white symbols as Blaze goes meeting Relon.

Jumping toward her, the girl dodges for Relon to punch the ground, a small tremor occurring for the spectators to catch their balance. Landing on her toes, she launches herself at Relon for the two to clash. Sliding to a halt, his head raises to eye silver.

"Luminous Ray!" A bean of lunar light blasts towards Relon.

Feeling the power surge in his arm, he meets the attack with a stream of fire, the flames easily overpowering the weak art forcing Silver to give dodging out of the way throwing multiple arrowhead-daggers past Relon. Taking notice of blaze land a few feet behind him, he watches as Silver connects a few other daggers to the wall he's against.

"Relon's trapped." Laura comments.

"But why would they trap him? Relon's a martial artist. Close range is his specialty." Elliot wonders.

"If anything, they should have stuck to long range attacks with Blaze going in like before." Alisa voices her thoughts.

"Does it have to do with the type of martial arts?" Aurelia speaks up for the two to give quizzical looks along with Norowareta.

"Correct." Cecily nods. "Relon is the only one to inherit the Beastial Arts. A form of martial arts that is not only a combination of other forms but all inspired off of the beasts themselves. The concept is simple though the style is quite controversial."

"What do you mean?" Rean asks.

"My brother when he created the Beastial Arts described the style as having to think like a beast backed into a corner for that is when animal is their deadliest. Yet, the style revolves around destructive power. The problem is, the power can only be utilized if in an open space. At least for those still grasping the martial art."

"But since Relon doesn't have the strength like the Wandering Beast, he relies on the technique more!" Laura exclaims in realization.

"Which means, even if he gets into the battle, his martial arts is heavily hindered because of the little space he has!" Elliot exclaims.

"Precisely. That is both the strength and weakness of one learning the Beastial Arts.

"Unlike with that punch a few moments ago, Relon was able to run up and gain momentum behind it. Now, he can't so the power behind his blows aren't nowhere near as strong." Rean states, all looking as Relon is faced with Silver and Blaze on both sides.

Aunt Cecily trained them for this. She's the only one along with myself and Mister than knows the strengths and weaknesses of the Beastial Arts. I could try to jump out of this but the moment I do, they'll be on me and I can't dodge easily in midair which means... He gets into a stance, one palm facing Silver and the other Blaze.

"I'll just have to fight like this then."

A/N: Again, I made a poll and would like everyone's opinion on the idea of whether I should write both Field Studies or just the canon one. Thank you and Merry Christmas everyone.
