Deleted Scenes
Scene 1
Penny and Dr. Polendina had just told everyone that he could upgrade their weapons. Now they were on their way to his workshop to get started. The Mandalorian decided to follow him to see if there was anything Pietro could do with his Amban rifle. As they approached his a door, Pietro stopped everyone.
"Before I get started, I actually need some help from someone. Yang, I couldn't help but notice the damage done to your arm."
Yang looked down at it. "Yeah, but it's not a huge deal. It still works, but an upgrade wouldn't hurt. I think you should work on Ruby and Blake first."
Blake looked at her broken blade but Ruby said nothing.
"In order to do that, I'll need some help with the metal. I think I know someone who can help. Wait here." Pietro went inside the door.
Blake turned to Yang. "Yang, your arm is in rough shape. Are you sure you want to wait?"
"Yeah, don't worry." Yang replied. "You guys can go first."
Pietro came back out and looked to the Mandalorian. "Would you mind following us inside?"
"Me?" Djarin replied. "Why?"
"My partner wants to talk to you."
Djarin nodded and followed Pietro, who was followed by everyone else. Pietro stopped in front of a room with tools and a furnace in the middle. Someone was hammering a piece of metal on a workbench, oblivious to the visitors.
"Um...he's here." Pietro called out.
The hammering stopped and Djarin got a look at Pietro's partner.
He couldn't believe his eyes.
Walking towards him was the Mandalorian Armorer from Nevarro. The one who forged his new armor. The one who quested him to reunite the Child with the Jedi.
Stopping in front of him, the Armorer sat on her knees. Djarin kneeled as well. Everyone else looked to each other in confusion and disbelief.
"You survived Nevarro." the Armorer said.
"Yes." Djarin replied.
"I did not expect to see you here." she continued.
"Nor I you." Djarin replied. "How did you escape Nevarro? How are you here?"
"I escaped in an stolen Imperial freighter and came here. The songs of eons past told of a planet in the Outer Rim that the Empire chose not to control. Remnant. That is not why you are here?"
"No. This planet has something that can help guide me to the Jedi. A Relic of Knowledge."
"...I see."
"Do you...still have the Beskar?"
"I do. Your armor does not appear to be in a need for repair."
"Actually, it's not for him." The Mandalorians turned to Pietro. "These students could use upgrades and new weapons. I was wondering if you could supply the metal."
"I can." the Armorer replied. "I will use the steel used for your 'Atlesian Knights'."
"Um, actually..." everyone turned to Jaune. "You mentioned that you had another metal. I think it's the same for his armor, you called it...Beskar? I saw it's really strong and it would be-"
"No." the Armorer quickly replied.
"What?" everyone turned to Yang, who was walking up to the Armorer. "Why not?"
"Beskar is a metal used for the Mandalorians and the Mandalorians alone." she replied. "This is the Way."
"This is the Way." Djarin replied.
"Yeah? Well he owes us some new weapons for my sister and our friend." Yang argued.
"I do not owe you anything." the Mandalorian replied. "I chose to help you."
Yang's eyes turned red. "Like hell you don't owe us anything! You attacked us at Argus, destroyed some of our weapons, and got one of us killed! We're using the Beskar!"
The Mandalorian stood up. "You disrespect the Armorer. You disrespect our Way."
Blake looked at Yang. "Yang, calm down. He's right, you're disrespecting them."
"I don't give a shit! If you wanna fight for it, let's go!" Yang equipped Ember Celica and looked at the Mandalorian. "Let's settle this right now you coward!"
Yang sent a fist at the Mandalorian, which he ducked. He took out his vibroblade and slashed at her chest, which made contact with her Aura. Everyone took a step back as Yang punched at him again, this time using her metal arm. Djarin grabbed it and stabbed his knife into her exposed circuitry. Before Yang could punch him again, a hammer stood between her and Djarin. They both looked back at the Armorer.
"When one chooses to walk the Way of the Mandalore, you are both hunter and prey." she turned to Yang. "He hunted you?"
"That's right." Yang answered.
"And he faced you all in combat?"
"...Not by himself."
"Then how do you call him a coward?"
"He took my friends by surprise and had someone else help him."
"Some...one? Against all of you?"
"Well...except Blake and I."
"And he still emerged victorious."
"...Yeah."
The Armorer turned to Djarin. "And you choose to help them now?"
"It's...a long story. One I will share with you in private. After they receive metal for their weapons."
The Armorer turned to Pietro. "You will use the steel used for your 'Atlesian Knights'."
"Of course." he replied. Yang rolled her eyes at this.
After giving them the forged metal and after everyone walked out, the Armorer turned to Djarin. "You choose to help them."
"Yes." he replied.
"Why?"
"...This world is in danger. They fight against those who wish to destroy it."
"Ironwood has told me of the Grimm."
"Then he told you about their master?"
"...No."
The Mandalorian took a deep breath before responding. "The history of Remnant tells about a witch named Salem. An immortal queen of the Grimm, who wishes for this world to bow to her will."
"...I did not know this." the Armorer replied.
"The General keeps it secret from everyone except for a select few. And the children found out about her for themselves."
"And you wish to help them?"
"I do. For the same reason I helped the Child."
"And what can you do to help them?"
"I have a plan to stop Salem. I swore that I would help them. And the Mandalorians keep their word. This is they Way."
"This is the Way." she repeated.
Djarin said one more thing. "You forge Beskar armor and weapons for Mandalorians and Mandalorians alone."
"Yes." she replied.
"Can someone use Beskar for a new arm? No weapons, no armor. Just an arm."
The Armorer took a moment to consider this. "I will supply Beskar for her."
"Thank you." The Mandalorian stood up and walked to the door. The Armorer called back to him. "Have you ever removed your helmet?"
"...No." Djarin replied.
"Has it ever been removed by others?"
"...No living thing has removed my helmet."
The Armorer took a moment to consider this before speaking again. "This is the Way."
"This is the Way." With that, he left.
Djarin had told Yang that the Armorer would make her a Beskar arm. Having been convinced to thank her and apologize for disrespecting her, Yang returned to the Armorer. She was kneeling on the ground and staring at Yang.
"Mando told me that you can give me Beskar for my arm. Thank you...and I'm sorry about earlier."
The Armorer looked up to her. "He chooses to help you all, yet you seem ungrateful."
"I wouldn't say 'ungrateful' is the right word. I don't exactly trust him yet."
"Because of what he did to your sister's weapon?"
"Yeah, that's right."
The Armorer stood up and walked to the furnace. "I have not been on your planet long, but I see your people have a connection to your weapons. They are a part of you."
Yang stayed still. "Yeah. Ruby made Crescent Rose herself, and I made my gauntlets. He took something from her."
"Yet he wishes to make amends."
"Can't imagine why."
The Armorer turned back to Yang. "He respects you. Your connection to your sister and weapons is similar to how he connects to his weapons and other Mandalorians. I respect that as well."
"...Thank you." Yang said.
"But you must be careful." the Armorer included. "The strong mind stays focused, it accomplishes its goals. The weak mind gets distracted, it gets emotional."
Yang took a moment to consider this. She was strong in body, no doubt about that. But, she lashed out without thinking earlier. She would need to save that for the battlefield.
"Right." Yang said.
The Armorer handed Yang a box of metal. "Take this to Pietro, tell him to use it for your arm." she looked at the exposed circuitry. "What did this?" she asked.
"A man named Adam Taurus." Yang replied.
"Of the White Fang." the Armorer said.
"Yeah." Yang said.
"...Come back when your arm is ready. It will need something else."
After Pietro made her arm and she painted it yellow, Yang returned to the Armorer. Seeing her arm, the Armorer took a tool and wielded something on it. Looking at it, Yang saw the symbol of the White Fang marked on it.
"You have earned the mark of the White Fang as your signet." the Armorer said.
Yang looked at her. "Thank you."
Author's notes: finished my first deleted scene. I didn't put this in the story because I came up with this idea too late. I wish I could have included it, tell me if you like it.
Also, I saw that this story is losing favs and follows. I think this is because of how long it will take to make my final chapter with Moff Gideon. I'm sorry it will take long, please don't drop the story just because of that.
