Snippet 6: Advice
Coco was looking through a catalogue and raising an eyebrow at what was considered fashion. "Oum, what is wrong with Earth?"
Sunset chuckled and sat down beside her before drinking some coffee. "Rarity had the same reaction when she saw what rich people considered clothing." She gestured to her leather vest with studs on the collar and shoulders. "She helped me pick this out during what my wife calls the 'Rainbow Rocks' incident while most of CHS still hated me after the stunts I pulled over the years I was there. Hurt like Tartarus but thankfully I had my friends and my then girlfriend to help me through it."
"Sounds like this Rarity knows fashion." Coco smirked and put down the magazine.
Coco was about to ask more but heard Velvet shouting, "Not that much, Nora!"
Right before an explosion was heard followed by Nora shouting, "My bad, Vel!"
Coco sighed. "While I'm glad she's making friends, I just wished there weren't so many explosions. I can only get enough soot out of our clothes before having to make them from scratch again."
Sunset smirked. "Trust me, from years of dealing with Pinkie Pie and my wives, you learn to love the little moments like that."
Coco nodded. "I do love that girl but I'm worried that she'll accidentally put a firecracker on a cake instead of a candle."
"Love as in family, friend or…?" Sunset held up her ring finger for Coco to see her wedding ring.
Coco blushed lightly. "A-All three, just don't tell Vel please? I wanna propose when we graduate Beacon." She looked down when she remembered what would happen during the festival. "At least, that was my hope to do so."
Sunset gently put a hand on her shoulder before pulling her into a hug. "It'll be okay, Coco. You'll see, it'll turn out fine when you all finish your viewings and you'll keep your memories of this place along with what you learned." Coco looked up at her in shock and Sunset gave a motherly smile. "Element of Empathy, allows me to technically read someone's mind and see what they're hiding or feeling."
"Did you ever use it on your wife?"
"After we started dating, I used it a couple times to help her get through a few months of rough assignments and archiving."
"Sounds like you had some interesting stories to tell, Sunset."
"Oh, someday you'll see a version of events without my wife there." She groaned as she remembered having to break up Twilight and Flash after the Rainbow Rocks incident.
"Remembering your ex, honey?" Lex kissed her wife on the cheek and made herself some tea.
Coco raised an eyebrow at the vixen. "Bad relationship?"
"Sunny broke up with him and during the Rainbow Rocks incident he was such a total douche to Twilight, who had something of a crush on him, that Sunset actually decked him into a locker. Some of the students tried to say that she hadn't changed at all but the girls immediately defended her and called Flash out on his rather creepy behaviour towards Twilight." Lex sat down and kissed her wife's hand before taking a sip of her tea.
Sunset blushed. "Asshole had it coming honestly. I broke up with him not because I wanted more power to run the school but because he was getting really obsessed with me and I lost my feelings for him. But it did lead me to my first girlfriend and now wife." She kissed a now equally blushing Lex.
Coco thought about her proposal to Velvet before getting up from the table. "Thanks for the talk, Sunset. I think I know what I have to do now."
Just before she left, Sunset smirked and gave her a key. "Privacy for you two first and then ask her. Good luck, Coco." Coco blushed before taking the key and leaving for her girlfriend to ask an important question.
Lex chuckled. "You didn't tell her that I wasn't your first girlfriend. If you want her to join us, just say the word and she's family."
Sunset smiled softly and looked at her wife. "Well, you have been okay with me visiting her and she does still love me."
Lex pushed a familiar box to her. "Go ask Trixie, honey. We both know Mei would love having her Aunt Trixie becoming Mama Trixie." She kissed her wife lovingly.
Sunset teared up and hugged her wife tightly. "Thank you, Lexie. I'll bring her home after the wedding."
Lex gave her wife a knowing smirk. "After the honeymoon, I know you wanted a foal of your own and Trixie can give you your firstborn foal."
Sunset blushed badly before giving her wife's ass a squeeze. "You're both giving me one, Lex. See you after the wedding and fair warning, she's gonna be hornier than Anko and Tali combined."
Lex grinned and blushed just as much as her wife. "Sounds like fun. Love you my strong Sunshine."
Sunset kissed her wife before leaving for CHS-1138, her home timeline. "And I love you, my fiery Fox." She looked at the ring box and smiled at the thought of her first girlfriend. "I'm coming to bring you home, my muscular magician." And with those words, she left for her home timeline to bring a certain blue woman home to her new family.
