Snippet 7: Bet

Lex was looking at another timeline that was known as a crossover and she knew these timelines well considering her family and interests. What she just saw though made her pause and try to comprehend it.

Her twin kits entered the room. Emerald looked at her mom. "Hey Mom, could you settle a…..mom?"

"I...I don't...I don't even…"

Emerald looked at her twin in confusion who just shrugged her shoulders before they saw what was on screen and their jaws dropped in shock. "Is that Salem?"

Cinder's eye twitched. "In a 'Kiss the Cook' apron?"

"Kissing Uncle Naruto?"

All three vixens were struggling to understand what they were seeing. Lex quickly moved a bit further through the timeline before sighing in relief. "Oh thank fuck, it was just a random comedic moment." She paused her viewing before looking at her twin daughters. "So, what was it you girls needed?"

Emerald quickly recovered from her shock. "Well, we were wondering if you could settle a bet for us?"

Lex folded her arms over her bosom which made Cinder pout since her own chest had to grow again, the mother youkai sighed. "What's being wagered?"

Emerald shrugged. "Not much, just who gets to try Lita-kaa-san's next batch of cookies first." Lex gave her daughter a deadpan stare. "A-And the loser has to give the winner massages for a month, including their mates."

"Before you tell me your bet….tell me your home timeline."

The twins looked at each in confusion. "Remnant-0481, why?"

Lex sighed in relief. "That just means that Lita's gonna propose soon. Now, what is the bet?"

"Cinder here thinks that Mama Sunset asked you out after the bet from Aunt Pinkie while I think Mama Trixie encouraged you two to be together while they were dating."

Lex smirked. "Cinder, massaging oil is on the third shelf beside the foot massagers for your little sister."

Cinder pouted but accepted the loss. "Damn it. Do I need to do it alone?"

Emerald giggled. "You can have Ruby help out if you want."

"Oh thank Oum, I was worried I was gonna be having to massage three people at the same time."

Emerald rolled her eyes. "I'm not that cruel, sis."

Lex shook her head with a smile. "These two are gonna be good parents in time."
