A happy, fluffy, multi-chapter fic about our favourite ladies falling in love.

Caroline meets Kate under very different circumstances - a damsel in distress on Hallows Eve. A mysterious Kate has a secret that might break a growing closeness with Caroline. How will it develop and will they both find the happiness they so dearly seek. The idea is not mine, it is based on a book by Karen Williams called Love Spell. Characters belong to Sally Wainwright.

Things have moved on for Kate since the weekend away. She desperately needs some peace and healing. Has she found the right person to offer her that?

One shot with my interpretation of what happens when the baby decides its on its way. The characters do not belong to me they belong to the glorious Sally Wainwright. Inspired by 'hellyeahmcelliot' on tumblr with encouragement from 'dixie84' and 'sarahlancashire2'.

This is an AU story, which in my head needs to happen. whilst I acknowledge Sally Wainwright and the bbc There will be no sad ending from me ... Caroline and Kate will have their happy ending.

Going back to the beginning with a few variations and the bits in between we missed. (It's been a while so bare with me :) )

It's Christmas Eve and Kate has a sudden change of heart and returns to the wedding. She asks Caroline to dance and they take to the floor, totally oblivious to anyone. On Valentines' day, Caroline proposes and Kate accepts. But what happened in 7 weeks to change things? NB This story references my previous story, "In the Beginning" - you might want to read this first!

This is hopefully a light-hearted peep into the McKenzie-Dawson family. I hope tracie619 doesn't mind that Fuzzy is part of my story. It didn't seem right not to include the bear!

Caroline is a mum of 2 with a busy job and a husband who has just walked out on her. Kate is a brilliant teacher that works too hard to hide the fact that she is lonely. This is a prequel to Last Tango in Halifax Series 1 and sets out one possibility as to how our 2 favourite ladies could have got together.

It's been a long while since I've posted any stories...but these two...they just beg for more. My take on a Caroline and Kate beginning. Heavy on character in the beginning, but will try to move into more dialogue driven updates in future. The characters are not of my own making. However, they do bend to my will...in my wee corner of the universe. If only on screen, too!
