Vanessa's POV
What can I say? I'm speechless. My good friend Shantelle is saving herself for marriage. All I can say is "you go girl! That's the one thing I've always admired about Shantelle, and that is her will power. I mean it's not easy to remain a virgin during adulthood, especially when there are so many sexy men out there to choose from. But you know something? I have decided also to remain a virgin until my wedding night. I plan to wait until my husband slips the ring on my finger and we are pronounced husband and wife. And baby…when that happens…it's on and poppin'! I am going to make sure that my husband is satisfied in every way possible.
As I am pulled from my thoughts, I hear Angel….
"Shantelle, exclaimed Angel. "Girl you look so beautiful!"
"Girl…you look like a million bucks!" quipped Monique.
Shantelle always looks beautiful in whatever she wears. I mean, just look at her, she has the body of a coca cola bottle. I mean she wear a potato sack and she would still stop traffic.
"Oh…thanks you guys". Shantelle replied. "Although I don't feel like a million bucks".
"Well, you do Miss Lady". Angel replied. "And you know what, we are going out and we are going to have the time of our lives!"
Shantelle is wearing a form fitting black midi dress that accentuates all of her curves. Her long brown hair cascades around her shoulders and she is wearing natural color cosmetics with a dark red lipstick on her full round lips.
"So, where are we headed to ladies?" asks Shantelle.
"Well, says Angel, "there is this new spot downtown that I've heard so much about. I hear that the food and drinks are the bomb and the live music is phenomenal."
"Cool, quips Laila. "So, let's head out. But you know something? I got a feeling this is going to be a night that none of us will EVER forget!"
And they don't realize for a second just how right they were….
