Summary/disclaimer: Time for another Chapter of Virtual Virtues. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own KLK, Trigger and a few others do.

Gaete turned to look at Satsuki as they continued walking. He was quite curious why Satsuki was such a skilled warrior.

Then again? He had powers, so he couldn't exactly judge someone when it came down to it. He crossed his arms while looking at her.

"You are quite offput by my skills from before." Satsuki stated which caused Gaete to hum.

"To be fair?" Gaete questioned with a raised eyebrow and he looked up at the ceiling. "I didn't exactly expect to have powers like this before… Or see someone like you who had such powers before." Gaete stated as Rex hummed from within the glasses that Gaete wore once more on his face.

"You've fought before to have such skill." Rex said as Gaete removed the glasses. "Why do I not bring you such a scare if you've not met one of my kind before? Most people would be… Awestruck, to see someone like me before." Rex added which caused Gaete to hum and chuckle with amusement.

"Yeah, everyone should bow before the neon gecko." Gaete said which caused Rex to roll his eyes. "She's obviously seen worse then those guys. Why else would she be fighting them like they didn't even phase her to begin with?" Gaete questioned as Rex pursed his lips into a small smile.

"Then I'm going to suppose that she's seen aliens before." Rex said while he raised an eyebrow. "That dress your wearing… It's a creature, isn't it? I can identify the energy of a living creature. That dress is alive. I can feel the power flowing through it." Rex questioned as he looked at the woman.

"That would be… Acceptable to believe." Satsuki replied which caused Rex and Gaete to share a look at each other. "This garment isn't dead. It does have a life of its own… But I didn't see a need to draw on it's power to defeat those creatures." Satsuki said as Rex hummed.

"Well, you've become quite interesting then if you have such power." Rex said while looking at Gaete in front of him. "I'll let you and the kid talk. You both still have a lot to talk about… Plus the kid is itching to talk with you. I can smell it." Rex said before vanishing into the glasses Gaete wore.

Gaete shook his head with annoyance and turned to Satsuki while he crossed his arms and looked to the side a moment later.

"I'm starting to hate his vanishing trick that he does whenever he wants to mess with me." Gaete stated and then turned to Satsuki once more. "He does have a point, though. I do have some questions for you if we're going to be fighting together… I'm sure you'd have some of your own." Gaete said while crossing his arms over his chest.

"Indeed." Satsuki said as Gaete lowered his gaze for a moment. he felt awkward… Curious and wondering where this path went next.

Nobody could exactly blame him. This wasn't exactly normal, nor was it something that he dealt with often when it came down to it. Gaete wanted answers… And yet he didn't think for a while that he'd get them.

He sighed and looked to the side as he rubbed at his temples while he hummed.

"Should I point out that the longer we stay here…" Rex stated to say as he looked to the side. "The more likely they can and will come back." Rex stated as he cracked his fingers.

"And where exactly are we safe from the giant tech aliens, Rex?" Gaete questioned while he tapped his fingers on his arms. "Because we have a lot to do before we deal with those things. You do know we don't know anything about them, what our options are…" Gaete stated while he cracked his fingers.

Gaete could only question what the aliens would do when they came back… Their loss couldn't have possibly humbled them… And when they came back for more? They wouldn't have the same arrogance and inexperience on their side to begin with.

"We should move." Satsuki said as Gaete turned to look at her. "Figuring out another plan of attack is the best option at the movie." Satsuki stated as she began walking.

"You have a plan then?" Gaete questioned with a raised eyebrow. "Because I don't exactly have a plan. Never went to war with aliens before." Gaete stated as he continued to walk forward after her. "Should I point out I'm kinda winging it." Gaete stated while he continued to continue looking after her.

Gaete hummed and continuing to follow her. Gaete could only wonder what was going to happen next.

"Yes, I do have a plan." Satsuki stated and turned to look at Gaete. He put his hands in his pockets.

"You two are so ridiculous." Rex said as Gaete rolled his eyes.

Phew. I want to point out that next chapter will be in 2-12 weeks and will show more bonding and talking between Satsuki and Gaete… Along with them planning their next move and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf out for now! Peace out!
