Summary/disclaimer: Time for another Chapter of Virtual Virtues. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own KLK, Trigger and a few others do.

Gaete brushed off his jacket and looked at Satsuki. The girl was much more preoccupied with thinking about what the next move was.

"These creatures must have a weakness." Satsuki put in to which Rex chuckled.

"Everything has a weakness…" Rex responded and brushed off his claws. "However? I don't know their weakness… Or much about what to do next. They would have usually wiped out my kind on this planet by now…" Rex added to which Gaete raised an eyebrow at this and looked at him.

"We're not just going to lay down and die, Rex." Gaete said before pointing a finger at Satsuki. "You dragged both of us into this, Rex… And while I don't want to blame anyone? We need a plan of attack, those… Perussi, let's call them that for now, ok?" Gaete asked, awkwardly remembering he had just ruined his speech he wanted to make at the moment.

"Those 'Perussi' had a weakness. The one who tried to kill us?" Gaete questioned and got a nod. "That one had a weak tongue we damaged… Maybe they share weak points behind their armor?" Gaete questioned which got a shrug and hum.

"Leave it to the geek to compare fighting to video games." Rex responded with a roll of his eyes to which Satsuki hummed and tapped at her chin at the moment.

"He does raise a point." Satsuki interjected, getting the duo's attention. "If they wear such heavy armor into battle? Surely their flesh is more delicate. All soldiers have exposed joints on their armor in order to retain some semblance of mobility." Satsuki added and looked at her nails.

"Damn it…" Rex said and rubbed at his temples. "Fair enough, the Perussi probably do have some sort of weakness like that… And considering their armor is electronic? They have limits of power on said armor… Which is still far above human." Rex stated as Gaete turned to Satsuki.

"Considering she threw them around like tin toys?" Gaete asked Rex and then crossed his arms. "I doubt that… Speaking of that? You seemed like your skilled more than most people would be." Gaete put in to which Rex could only chuckle with amusement.

"Because of her armor, kid." Rex stated as Gaete crossed his arms. "As I said, that dress she has is living. The Perussi are far too strong for regular humans…. Meaning she's either NOT HUMAN… Or you've got an edge most humans don't." Rex put in and watched Satsuki slowly sit up to look at the duo.

"If you refer to Junketsu?" Satsuki questioned and gestured to her dress. "Then indeed, it draws on my blood to heighten my powers." Satsuki said to which Gaete raised an eyebrow.

"Rex, power isn't everything, in both videogames or real life." Gaete pointed out, gaining a nod from Satsuki. "Besides, I doubt that armor gives her super fighting skills. Satsuki is smart and probably trained… It's the 'I'M NOT PHASED BY GIANT MONSTERS' thing that becomes a bit hard to believe." Gaete stated as Satsuki hummed.

"Power is nothing without skill, dragon." Satsuki put in and then turned to Gaete. "We should pursue the wounded warrior and kill it before it can recover fully from its wounds. We have very low chances of winning if we do not go and try to fight the Perussi now." Satsuki added to which Gaete could only hum.

"Are you sure that you want to tag along with us?" Gaete questioned and then turned to look to the side. "Ok, stupid question which I already asked before… Anyway, we need to track down that Perussi and kill it before it points out we're not defenseless." Gaete stated as Rex sighed.

"You humans and your bravado." Rex said before vanishing as Gaete looked up to Satsuki and rubbed at his temples.

"So… Do you have a battle plan?" Gaete questioned with a raised eyebrow and turned to look to the side with interest. "I don't really have one despite all this. Rex hit the nail on the head, I'm just a nerd with superpowers I guess." Gaete stated which got a mental facepalm from Rex.

"Of course, I'm sure that I will find some way of combating these creatures once more." Satsuki said before she turned and started to depart. "Are you not coming?" Satsuki questioned to which Gaete could only shrug and look around.

"I'm coming, it's just a little hard to believe." Gaete said while following after him. "I just don't know what to believe at the moment. I'm sure we have plenty to do… So where exactly did you become a super warrior like this? I didn't think they taught super fighting skills." Gaete put in before rubbing at his neck with a hum.

Satsuki said nothing, more amused then anything at the moment. She knew very well that this would become interesting.

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out that next chapter will be 900 words then 1200 at the moment. Next chapter will be in 2-12 weeks and will show Gaete and Satsuki bonding more along with setting up their fight with the monsters. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
