A Fairy and Her Dragon

Lucy snuck through the foliage of the willow trees, careful to dim her light so she could not be easily seen in the darkness. She was forbidden from this part of the forest, but Lucy couldn't help it. She made the trek into the Forbidden Forest once every week, and she would've gone more often if not for the watchful eye of her Queen. Titania was like a mother to Lucy and she loved her for it, but Erza was also a bit of a helicopter parent. So what if the Forbidden Forest was filled with dark magic and dangerous creatures? Lucy was a fully matured fairy, had lived for hundreds of years, she could handle herself in a dark forest.

She palmed the pouch tied at her hip as she drew closer to a large cave hidden deep in the trees. Upon reaching the mouth of the cave, Lucy enlarged her body to that of a petite human and folded her wings into her back. Holding a ball of light in her palm, she crept into the cave with enthralling anticipation as she always did. The stone passageway soon gave way to a large chamber with an opening in the ceiling. The moon and stars shined brightly that night, illuminating the hulking creature curled up at the center of the cavern. Its large head lifted off the ground as Lucy approached with a soft smile.

Its golden scales shimmered under the moonlight as its neck stretched to meet Lucy's outstretched hand. Lucy felt the hardened but smooth texture of its snout cool against her palm. The dragon huffed with a soft nudge into Lucy's hand and she giggled before throwing her arms around the creature's nose, rubbing her cheek softly against its scales.

"I missed you too, big guy." Lucy turned to kiss the dragon's nose. "Are you ready to change?"

The dragon purred in response.

Lucy stepped back and reached into the pouch at her side. She grabbed a handful of fairy dust and jogged alongside the length of the dragon's body, letting the dust filter through her fingers to land on its golden scales. With a brilliant smile, Lucy watched as the humongous form of the dragon shrank to the form of an Adonis-like man with blond hair, striking blue eyes, and bulging muscles. The stark naked figure strode up to Lucy and engulfed her in his embrace, tilting his head down to capture her lips in a soft kiss. Lucy smiled and she felt his lips move to kiss the corners of her mouth. She hummed as she pulled away to meet his gentle gaze.

"How are you doing? Did you eat today?" Her hand moved to cup his jaw and brush over his stubble with her thumb.

"I'm doing well. I ate a buck that wandered too close to my territory. Bad for him, good for me," the blond smirked as his hands brushed her sides.

"While I don't condone your eating an innocent creature of the woods, I understand that it's necessary for your survival." Lucy stood on her toes to peck his cheek before sliding out of his embrace to pull him towards his nest.

Lucy had long ago left a chest full of her things in his cave, and he guarded it as if it were his own treasure. She popped the trunk open to gather blankets as the man ran a large hand down her back, a shiver running down her spine as her wings felt the magic of the beast. When the two laid down in his nest, with the blankets thrown haphazardly over his naked form, Lucy hummed contentedly, nuzzling her nose into his chest. In his human form, the lightning dragon smelled like a rainy day, the scent of storm and ozone permeated his hot skin. His rough fingertips brushed her arm as they stared through the opening in the ceiling, they watched as the stars twinkled in the sky, never paling in the light of the full moon.

"Lucy…" Her dragon whispered at her ear, his breath tickling her neck.

"Yes, Laxus?" She turned her head to meet his gaze, their noses brushing against each other, breaths fanning over the other.

"Can you stay here with me forever?" He moved to press his lips against her cheek before dragging them down her jaw to gently nip her neck.

Lucy reached a hand to tangle in the hair at the base of his neck. She massaged her fingers through his blond locks while he planted soft kisses along her throat. "I wish I could, my beloved dragon. But you know I can't." She gasped as brushed his elongated canines across her pulse point. "As much as I love you as a dragon, I need to find a way to break your curse. Until that happens, I will continue to return home and peruse the texts in the fairies' grand library."

"Do you worry I could not pleasure you like this if I were to remain a dragon?" He rumbled against her neck as a hand trailed down her body in a teasing trail, grazing her breasts with a feather light touch, following a line down to her hips, where he lightly brushed the bones with a thumb. Lucy arched into his touch, her mouth opening in a silent gasp.

"It's not that and you know it." Lucy bit her lip as his hand moved to massage her womanhood over her clothes.

He nipped her chin. "Then what's the problem?"

"What we're doing is forbidden." Lucy met his eyes and watched as they glowed into bright green animal slits before flashing back to a steel blue.

"And yet you still come here." Laxus moved to hover of her, his hands resting on either side of her head as his knee fell between her legs, nudging them to spread.

Lucy wrapped her hands around his neck. "Because I love you," she whispered. "The fairies will accept me loving a human, but a dragon? Dragons destroyed our home three hundred years ago, we lost many of our elders in the fight." She pulled his head down until her words brushed against his lips. "I know you would never harm me or my people, but they don't see you as I do."

"They still would not accept me if they knew I was only a human cursed to be a dragon?" Laxus moved his lips to kiss her nose, her cheeks, her eyes, her forehead, before returning to her lips.

"I don't know, and that's what terrifies me." Lucy applied pressure to her hands wrapped around his neck before pulling him towards her completely.

Their lips met in a loving whisper, brushing over each other in gentle strokes. Laxus brought a hand up to hold her cheek, angling her head to press his lips deeper. With a confident stroke of his tongue, Lucy opened herself to him, their tongues meeting in a graceful dance. She moaned into his mouth, urging the dragon to give her more.

The fairy and the dragon made love that night, as they always did under the watchful eyes of the moon and stars. The night sky shone brighter with every meeting of their bodies, the usually gruff and rough dragon showing a tenderness he only ever did with his fairy. He worshipped her until the sky melted from indigo to light purples and pinks, and as the stars faded to give way to the sun, they wished upon themselves.

When morning came and Lucy expected to find herself in the curled embrace of a 300-foot dragon as she always did, she was pleasantly surprised to find herself wrapped in the large arms of her lover, his broad chest flush against her back, his head buried in her loose blonde tresses. She carefully turned in his arms and pressed her lips against his until they began to move under hers. She pulled away to laugh as tears gathered in the corners of her eyes. Laxus blinked his eyes open to the gorgeous sight of his beloved fairy smiling at him like he hung the stars in the sky just for her.

"Lucy?" Immediately after speaking aloud, his eyes widened and his mouth fell open in disbelief. "H-how?"

Lucy wiped at her eyes with a giggle. "I have no idea. I'm as shocked as you are."

A grin broke across Laxus' lips and he tightened his arms around Lucy's waist, pulling her forward to pepper kisses across her smiling face. Lucy giggled, a warmth spreading across her chest at the morning's revelations.

"I'm going to ravage you day and night now, my fairy."

"I expect nothing less, my dragon."
