Under the cover of darkness and blankets, Stephanie and Ranger come to a mutually satisfying understanding.

Why, when you see boys fight does it look so horrible, yet feel so right? Steph has never met anyone like the new kid in school, but she knows right away that she would go to the ends of the earth for him. And in turn he'll do anything to free her of the Burg's shackles. AU starting in highs school but moving through to adulthood. Not friendly to Morelli or Helen.

Stephanie goes through a few years of unfortunate events. Her world seems to get tilted on its axis, changing the next series of events. She reminds herself that things can only get better. How many times does her world get tipped upside down before it gets better? Babe HEA even though it doesn’t appear to be at first.

Alternate ending when Joe shows up in Hawaii and Ranger and Joe do not start fighting. One-shot
