The Merry Men are left scrambling to catch up as they discover Steph in a state of emotional distress in the seventh floor apartment. With no known threats to speak of, they have to rely on their skills as security and intelligence specialists and as good friends to uncover the dark day Steph has had to wade through, and to help her to the light on the other side.

What would a world without Rangeman look like? What kind of person would Ranger be? Stephanie?

A stand-alone story inspired by Stephanie's favorite holiday. Stephanie accompanies Val and her daughters trick-or-treating on Halloween. Later, Steph, Val, and Grandma M. are still in costume in the St. Francis ER waiting room, where they encounter some Merry Men. What could happen? (Two chapters because Stephanie's evening was too full to be only one.)

With everyone telling Stephanie, she needs to get married or asking why she isn't married yet, Stephanie wonders whether people have no other topics to talk about? Established Babe. No Cupcakes were harmed. Surprisingly very Helen-friendly. ONESHOT
