When Chloe went to Europe with Trixie, she left behind her phone, not wanting to receive any messages or calls from Lucifer. Several months after returning, she finds the old phone buried in a drawer and realizes Lucifer texted her almost every single day she was gone.

**Author's note; be sure to read Books 1 and 2 first! Lucifer, Sam and Joy investigate the murder of a local paralegal who worked with Trixie at the District Attorney's office. Meanwhile, Lucifer surprises everyone by wanting to draw up a will.

Lucifer wouldn't be able to fix it with all the reassurance in the world, and his brother wouldn't believe him anyway. Lucifer knew. Lucifer had been in this position before.

Chloe and Trixie try to help Lucifer realize that touch isn't a bad thing.

4 months after Lucifer left, Chloe is still reeling with the aftermath of his depature. The only thing that makes her feel connected to Lucifer is the necklace he once gave her. And when she can't find her beloved necklace, Chloe freaks out just a little bit. Luckily, Trixie is right there by her side. Set after season 4.

Any self-respecting cop would start getting suspicious when being handed nicely wrapped book-full of evidence. And while having seen the face of the Devil himself might be enough to shake anyone into a bit of panic, Chloe Decker had seen enough weird things in her career (usually courtesy of said Devil) to retain a shred of rational mind. (Season 5 trailer spoilers) Chloe finds a small way to be connected to Lucifer while he's gone. She'll need it when he returns... or has he?

After returning from Hell, Lucifer has difficulty sleeping - plagued by nightmares and paranoid after so long away. Chloe finds that sometimes, the only way to help someone is to cry with them. Twice as angsty as it sounds. Lucifer get's beat up in this one. So does Chloe, actually.

For her tenth birthday party, Trixie wants a petting zoo. Chloe obliges, ignoring Lucifer's bad history with a certain hoofed, horned creature. Or the one where Lucifer finds his hatred of goats is completely justified. Disclaimer: no Devils were (permanently) injured during this fic.

When Trixie has a ballet recital and Dan can't attend, Lucifer goes full step-devil mode to ensure her night is special.

Chloe was thrilled when Lucifer returned from Hell but something was wrong, she just couldn't figure out what. It took seeing him naked for all the pieces to fall into place. This is my take on how Chloe might figure out Michael's impersonation. This is based on one of the scenes from the season five trailer. Rated for mild sexual content.
