"Draco, have you and your friends managed to capture both of the terrors or just Granger?" Snape asked his favourite student.

"Only Granger sir, the twin chased Potter out onto the grounds while the She-devil chased us."

"Mr Malfoy don't call her a she-devil she is a scared little girl," Molly admonished the blonde teenager.

"She is not a scared little girl; she is a monster. Honestly, teenage Granger is terrifying but the worst she does is hex me, or there was that one time she punched me. I can handle teenage Granger, she is great at banter, has quick sarcastic retorts and on occasion, she's a great snog, especially when she's all riled up, her magic becomes palpable in the air, her hair floats and her eyes become dilated, its wonderful. I get teenage Granger. That child behind that door is what I imagine a child of Lord Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange would be like if you put them on meth and bound them to serve Satan. She is absolutely 100% deranged and evil. Teenage Granger is like a teddy bear compared to that thing. I'd rather be locked in a cave with a 100 of Hagrid's Blast-Ended Skrewt's with no wand than face baby Granger again." He ranted his pale face turning bright red. The three other Slytherins nodded in agreement.

"Surely she wasn't that bad?" Asked Mr Weasley his voice shocked.

"First she attacked Weaslette because Weaslette wouldn't give her cookies that she was screaming she needed. She pounced on her and ripped out a handful of her hair. While Potter was trying to get her off Weaslette, the mini twin set the Great Hall on fire." Pansy said wincing in pain; Professor Snape quickly healed her arm for her.

"A normal child would be scared in a fire, but she instead stole someone's wand and was laughing her head off," Theodore said, smiling in gratitude when Mrs Weasley fixed his broken leg.

"It was Ron's wand," Ginny told them.

"lei รจ un Diavolo del cazzo, she is a fucking Devi." Blaise shuddered.

"She wasn't even casting known spells it was like whatever she wished happened. She kept pointing the wand and just saying whatever she wanted; 'Bunny Ears', 'Glass be-gone', 'lightening', 'Fish-face', 'poker-dot-body'. Whatever she said happened." Pansy informed them.

"Why didn't anyone disarm her?" Asked Dumbledore.

"We tried, but she had a bubble of magic around her; her spells could leave it, but ours couldn't enter," Theodore said.

"We were only able to capture her because she almost drowned when she vanished the window in the common room. Theodore broke his leg saving the little beasts life." Draco said.

"you'd think she'd be grateful, but instead she started clawing at Draco's face and tried to steal a new wand since she lost Weasley's when she flooded the common room," Pansy said.

"We had just locked her in the seventh-year boy's dorm when you arrived," Blaise informed them.

As they had been talking the sounds of Hermione's screams had stopped, and all that they could hear from the other side of the door was the odd sob or sniffle.

"Please unlock the door so that we can deal with our daughter?" Mr Granger said.

"Dude you told Granger's parents that she is a 'good snog'" Theodore whispered loudly at Draco who paled significantly. The adults chuckled, and Dumbledore waved his wand opening the door.

They all peaked cautiously into the room, Hermione had emptied all the trunks, shredded curtains, she had drawn on a wall with little ink-stained fingers.

In the centre of one of the beds was the tiny girl with wild wet bushy hair, wearing a Slytherin Quidditch jumper that dwarfed her petite form. She was fast asleep in a little ball hugging a pillow to her stomach. There were dried tear tracks on her rosy cheeks.

"Awe she looks adorable." Pansy cooed.

"Don't be fooled Pans, some of the cutest things on the planet are the most dangerous for example the blue-ringed octopus, it's cute but can kill up to twenty-six adults in three minutes. There is no cure to its poison." Theodore said.

"She is adorable," Ginny said quietly as Mrs Granger sat down gently on the bed next to her daughter and stroked her little face.

" Hermione wake up darling." her eyes fluttered open, and she launched at her mother sobbing. Mrs Granger hugged her tight.

"M-m-Mummy." she stuttered out.

"Shush little bug, calm down you are okay." Her mum spoke soothingly while stroking her hair.

When she calmed down Mrs Granger pulled back from her so she could see her face.

"You've been naughty Hermione." She told her daughter.

"I was kidnapped, mummy."

"No, you weren't your father, and I knew you were here."

"You got rid of me?" Hermione's lip quivered.

"Of course not. We'd never get rid of you. You were brought here for an amazing opportunity. It's a school for magical children like you and children aged 11-18 come here. The Headmaster is thinking of opening it up to younger students and chose you and another child to attend the school for a while to see if it would be a good idea." Mrs Granger told Hermione the fake story.

"But seeing how badly you have acted today Hermione maybe we should take you home, and another child can have your place." Mr Granger stepped forward radiating disappointment.

"No daddy, I'll behave," she said.

"I'm sorry we weren't there with you when you woke up and that you were frightened but taking someone's wand and casting all those spells was not acceptable behaviour. You are going to apologise to the whole school and help clean up all of the mess you have made." Mrs Granger said.

"Okay mummy I'll do that. Her mother hugged her.

"That's the punishment she gets for all she has done?" Draco asked in disbelief.

"Draco she is five we can't put her in detention." Snape drawled, feeling a tugging on the robe he was wearing, he looked down to see Hermione had left the bed and was stood in front of him peering up into his eyes.

"I'm sorry for giving you bat wings, Mr Bat, Ron told me you were an overgrown bat, and I thought it would be funny if you had wings." She hugged his leg and moved on to her next apology. Snape was shocked that she had embraced him since students never came close enough to him for physical contact as he scared them too much.

"I'm sorry for trying to turn you into an Oompa Loompa if your hair were green it would have been perfect." She said hugging Flitwick around the waste; he was only slightly taller than the five-year-old girl.

"That's alright Miss Granger." He said smiling at her.

"I'm sorry for pulling out your hair and not eating my dinner Ginny, you were nice to me and took me to dinner, and I was naughty. I understand if you don't want to be my friend anymore." Hermione said sadly. Ginny fell to her knees and hugged the five-year-old tightly.

"I forgive you; you were in a new place and scared. We are going to be the best of friends Mione." Hermione smiled brilliantly.

"Seriously Red, you are such a pushover," Draco told the redhead.

"You try being mad at her when she's looking at you with puppy dog eyes blondie," she replied scathingly.

"I'm sorry for getting rid of the window downstairs. Thank you for saving me, I'm sorry you hurt your leg too." She told Theodore hugging his knees.

"No problem kid, I couldn't let you drown," he told her with a smile, ruffling her hair.

"I'm sorry for making your skin pink and that you hurt your arm when the water knocked you over," she told Pansy who lent down and hugged her.

"That's okay sweetie I forgive you." Pansy smiled.

"Seriously first Red and then you Pans, you are both fooled by the cute," Draco muttered, Pansy laughed.

"I am sorry for giving you a shark fin and yellow polka dots." She told Blaise hugging around his knees.

"I'm sorry for chasing you Mr Blondie I wanted to feel your hair because it's silver like the moon. I'm also sorry for scratching your head and trying to steal your wand." She hugged Draco's knees, and Draco couldn't control the small smile that appeared on his face as he looked into her warm brown puppy dog eyes.

"Good Girl Hermione." Hermione's dad told her picking her up and setting her on his hip.

"Let's go and find Fred," Molly told the group worrying her bottom lip nervously.
