Raliel is a young goldrider suddenly thrust into the position of Weyrwoman when the aging Esme dies. The position takes a heavy toll on her and she soon finds out she is not ready and highly unsuited for leadership. This is the tale of her tumultuous journey as told by her gold, Kessuth. - This story does not follow strict canon guidelines.
