CHAPTER 4:- THE 7TH MEMBER

15th July

Momonga was the fifth one to log in. He waited for about 10 minutes for the last member to log in.

"Sorry guys, I was very busy with the work and couldn't play and made you guys wait for me, for about 10 days," HeroHero said as soon as his character appeared in front of everyone.

" We are all friends, Hero, no need to apologize. Now, let's move on to the important task, what should we do about that giant" Momonga replied.

"I have something figured out," Tabula said as he cast magic [ Lesser illusion] on the giant to make it look like a normal skeleton.

Everybody was confused as they didn't know what was cooking in the mind of Tabula. So they asked him, to which Tabula replied.

"Just wait and be ready to escape"

Everyone was even more confused until they saw a player coming towards the giant which was covered in an illusion. The name written on top of the player was one everyone knew, one of the early quitters of the old game Punitto Moe.

He had chosen the same character, he had in the old game which was entirely composed of a plant called death vines. Moe was the mind behind PK and PKK strategies of the old guild ainz ooal gown. He was a very cautious and calculative person and believed that the results of a fight is decided before the fight even began.

Punitto Moe approached the entrance of the cave-like the illusion skeleton wasn't even there. When he came in close to it, the skeleton started running towards him and attacked him with his sword. Punitto Moe was shocked as he didn't know why a summon of Momonga was attacking him. When the illusion was dispelled, he started running opposite from the entrance of a cave. The giant following him left the entrance of the cave.

The six of them saw the scene unfold before them and escaped as soon as they saw the opportunity. All of them had to do a lot of explaining to the strategist of the guild after the incident as they all knew Punitto would not be able to kill or fend off the giant but for now, they were safe.

After they escaped and reached the temporary guild base, Tabula contacted Punitto Moe and told him the reallocation of the guild.

FEW MOMENTS LATER

Punitto Moe approached the real guild filled with suspicions of another trap. He dissed out all of his anger towards his guildmates about how he ran like a maniac but was still killed by the giant and demanded an apology by all the guildmates for such action.

Tabula stepped out and bowed his head and apologized. Then he explained it was his plan to put an illusion spell on the giant and to lure him with false information that the cave was their temporary guild base.

"So why did you do it? Have I offended you in some way?" asked Moe.

"No, but it was the only way I could figure out to lure the giant away and not anyone else die with data crystals on everyone" Tabula explained the entire situation to her.

Punitto Moe shrugged then forgave them, as it was the best course of action they could have taken. Besides, his death was of very little consequence as she was level 2 when she died and didn't have any gear on her.

"So explain to me one more thing, why are all of you wearing such trashy armor?." Punitto asked again.

To which Touch Me replied." We were on our first grind and we were on our way to get out of the cave and replenish our consumables and make new equipment."

"Hmmm, so new equipment huh. Why don't we go to the mining area nearest to us and then visit the Dwarven city Bhilbuldohr in the Andromeda dimension? As for the consumables, I can craft them from herbs growing in different types of forest."

"But, I can only wear armor made out of natural resources as I am an elf - archer," Bukubukuchagama said.

"How about you and one other party member go to the Dimension of Amazon's and collect the resources for your armor and herbs for potions, meanwhile we can continue on the mining areas."

After a thorough discussion of the plan, it was decided that Momonga will go with Bukubukuchagama as his summons could look in a wide area in the forest but not in a mine as the render distance is reduced and the rest of them will head to the nearby mining areas.

THE PERUVIAN AMAZONIA, DIMENSION OF AMAZON'S.

A lot of undead rose from the ground in the middle of a dense forest. It looked quite strange as forests are not the place for the undead. But these weren't natural, they were summons of a player. Far off into the distance, a dragon skeleton was talking to a blonde hair elf.

"North from here, there seems to be a dense evergreen forest. We might fight some high-quality herbs there and from the south of here, there are tropical evergreen forests. In both East and West, there seems to be mangrove forest." Said dragon skeleton.

" So where should we head first, our almighty guild leader" the elf replied in a teasing voice.

" Stop calling me guild leader and adding 'almighty' does not help, it only pressures me more."

" Don't worry you will get the hang of it, guild boss"

If almighty wasn't bad enough. Now she is going to call me 'guild boss' the whole time we are in the forest. It sounds like I am a boss of an evil company. What should I do ?. Momonga contemplated for a while and then a route just popped up in his mind which would minimize their stay in the forest. And then we could join the other members.

"Let's go toward the tropical forest first (so our movement will be swift and I can use undead summons to check the nearby mangrove forest, only tell her if something good is there) and then go straight to the evergreen forest. (Which is near to Dimension portal of which only I know because of my summons) Then if we are left with some time, we can help others."

The elf stared at him for a while and then spoke

"You haven't planned this route to get out of the forest and get away from me as soon as possible. Have you? Momonga"

Oh shit! She saw through me. Momonga thought.

" No not at all, we could go the other way around if you like. We could even visit the mangrove forest and visit a nearby elf city if you want, maybe even go… shopping .…. maybe" He said and thought that she will be more than convinced that I wasn't trying to Fastrack our visit to the forest and who is interested in shopping in a virtual world if they can go on a shopping trip with their friends in the real world anyway.

He was filled with sadness as he thought that Bukubukuchagama who was a famous voice actor in the real world must have many friends, hundreds of boyfriends in past, and maybe even a boyfriend currently. His train of thought was interrupted.

"Let's Fastrack the visit and then we can go for the shopping"

Ehhhhhhhhh?... Momonga went blank. His brain couldn't figure out a single reason why his plan failed.

" Ahhhh… it could take a lot of time"

"Don't worry, we will message other team members that we wouldn't be able to join them today."

"No, what I meant was do you have free time for an activity like this in real life."

"You don't have to be a worrywart. I will manage unless you have any time-related problem. I am alright."

" No, I don't have any problem somehow."

There was barely any holiday or delay reaching time for office. But thanks to a fire in the nearby building, his office was sealed to check for any possible damage and to deal with it.

Momonga accompanied Bukubukuchagama, conversing in completely weird matters about the world, roamed in the elf city but didn't bought anything as the city didn't have any shops opened, all the shops had a sign made out of wood engraved with the sentence -

" Coming soon "

It was a naturally summoned village and some parts even had new constructions of wood being joined together. This was a new feature in the game, naturally generated cities could change, grow bigger or smaller with time.
