CHAPTER 6 :- WORLD GOD :- PART 1

December 25th, 4:00 AM

Suzuki Satrou had just woken up and sat outright in the bed stretching his hands. It was a holiday but the early waking cycle for the job meant that he woke up early anyways. He jumped out of the bed and went straight to the kitchen and took out a loaf of bread from the refrigerator.

Generally, people will prepare special meals for today and even buy presents for their loved ones and relatives but he didn't have any close friends or relatives, so he just munched down the cold bread.

After finishing the breakfast, he was ready to dive into the game, he remembered that there was a scheduled holiday update of his favorite game.

I wonder what kind of new items and gameplay mechanics are added to the game. He thought.

As soon as he dived into the game, a message flashed.

""WELCOME BACK, MOMONGA""

A new update has arrived, click on the console to view the logs of the new update.

Momonga's skeleton fingers tapped on the logs icon to view. Instead of a pop-up on the screen, he was expecting, he received a diary of white color beautifully decorated on all sides but something was different, it didn't have any open icon. He started to examine the book and realized it opened like the book in real life.

"Wow" Momonga screamed.

He sat in the throne room of the new Sandy castle, they built in the underground city and started to read the book and noticed that one of the flagship features of the new game title of 'god' has been introduced and how to become one was also given.

'GOD UPDATE'

- To become a god, you have to defeat a world enemy. The title of 'god' will only be awarded to the player who dealt the final blow.

- Those who defeat the world enemy of an event will be awarded a title as well.

- Higher gods will have a special title, only for them and special angel summons according to the title.

- Normal angels will never aggro on any player with the title of God.

- Massive stat boost for the player.

- Special abilities and God items will also be provided.

- World items will not work on any God directly.

'DIMENSION DESTRUCTOR'

Every Dimension will be attacked by a world-class enemy of unmatched strength.

Events will be broadcasted live to the whole world.

Only the player's with a base in the Dimension will be allowed to participate.

Massive Rewards including a title of God who will deal the final blow.

If the players fail to defeat the enemy, the world will be removed and a new one will be reinstated. All the guild bases and NPC's will be removed as well.

As he was going through the logbook he heard an alarm.

'ting'

""Touch Me has logged in""

A knight with silver armor appeared before Momonga. He was his friend that lost his family.

"Hey Momonga, I didn't expect anyone to be logged in right now."

" Yeah, Me too but have you seen the update log?"

" No, is there something interesting?"

" Read it " Momonga gave the diary to Touch Me.

Even Touch Me got excited with the content. Not only about the God bits but the bit that stated that there was a bug fix which enabled him to drink stamina potion while welding a short sword on the other hand again.

" We will have to plan for big raids, ASAP. Otherwise, we may lose this big chance. "

" I will send a message to everyone, although some might not be able to come "

After that Momonga sent everyone mail to meet in the afternoon at 3 o'clock. Then both Touch Me and Momonga chatted and went for a little grind as both of them didn't have any friends or family in the real world with whom they can celebrate the holiday.

AFTERNOON 3 O'CLOCK

Six of the members of the guild met in the underground city's main building. The main topic was the new update and how to approach the event of 'no man's Dimension destructor'. Punitto Moe had a big task of planning not only how to defeat the enemy but also to ensure that the final blow will be dealt by one of their guild member.

After hours of discussion, planning, and plotting. They now had a full proof plan which involved siege golems, cash shop items, even world-class items to distract and to set up traps for players instead of the world enemy so that they would be alone at the end of the event.
